He was brought in to be the latter not the former. Vidal is a forever a dog in attack mode, aggressive and high octane, it's a personality trait. Like the saying, "you can take dog out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of a dog", that's Vidal. Influential and experienced winner but not a leader of men. He plays with too much passion which clouds his judgement and thoughts and can ultimately seal his fate with a red card. Alongside Barella he's been our best and most consistent midfielder. He should be used in the same manner as Sanchez, sparingly, as a back up across all midfield positions. Conte clearly had something else in mind however, I think he's the outfield player with the most minutes.
