And that was never the problem with Conte. The problem was his lack of a plan B and C. We're out of 2 competitions thanks to that, what are we celebrating exactly?

Being top of the table for another week.

scudetto.
In the beginning of the season we were favorites, that only changed because of Conte's fuck-ups. Now we're back on track and winning like we should be. Again I ask, what are we celebrating?

Conte finally realizing the best players must start for the team.

Come on, Perishit and Eriksen didn't exactly do themselves any favors with subpar performances. We don't know whether that was down to Conte's stubbornness or them not simply performing at the needed level. Or could be they needed time to adapt to their new roles. We don't know.

I am glad that Conte is finally able to include Eriksen and Perisic who have potential greater than Gagliardini and Young.

But to be honest I have not seen that much difference from how they played before. It will take time and continuety. Especially I am expecting far greater performances from Eriksen. Lets see when he has 10 games in a row if he can get his full confidence.

In the last few games, it looks like Perisic and Eriksen fit in their new roles in the team. They look like a part of the team, playing their role in the system. It took them a while to adjust and adapt to their new roles, different players take different times to do that, but its obvious that all that work in training is starting to show results. Last year they looked like they didn't belong in this set up. Now they look like a seamless part of the machine.

I agree with IRR26 that its too early to judge. We know their potential, specially Eriksen who can take this to the next level. But in the last few games, Eriksen's distribution has been at another level to even Brozovic. In each game, there are 2-3 passes by Eriksen that make me go like wow. The accuracy and vision is remarkable. If he can do this with consistency over the next 10 games or so, he will become one of the most important players in this team.

I don't think that Perisic has improved or something. He was better than usual against Lazio and Milan only because we scored first and thus he had a chance to play on counter attack against not so tight defences.

The partnership Brozovic-Eriksen is great. Oponents do not know how to press us. We have 4 players capable of cross-field pass (Bastoni, Brozovic, Eriksen, Barella ). Lukaku is great target for this passes.
Whenever oponent decide to put pressure on us, they become very vulnerable. I see this as our biggest weapon.

Actually, De Vrij knows how to do a long cross-field pass as well, he just does it less nowadays because we play differently.

Tonight we were the 19th and Parma the leader.

What a shameful display. In the last 15 mns, we didn't manage to do three straight passes once. Not once against fucking Parma.

You know what, Conte? Fuck you. This was a game where the subs or lack of them almost lost us crucial points. Yeah, we won, but how we played was horrible and which players were subbed out was strange to me. Why didn't Lukaku get a bit of rest? Why didn't Eriksen stay on instead of Bro? I was incredibly nervous for the whole game because nothing seemed to work!

Two brilliant moves from Lukaku and Sanchez sealed the deal, but these kind of performances are why we crashed out of CL.

Why you take an easy route if you can take the hard one ? :yao:

We would have lost this game two years ago 100%. For all the hate I feel for cunte, he changed our mentality. He opted for a slower tempo today, I'm sure we will see a different display against Atalanta. You can't motivate Lukaku every match to give it all against the likes of Parma/Spezia. You will see the power again on monday with LuLa running the show, bet your house on our victory to win another house.

He made a mistake with Eriksen's sub. The latter was shit in the first half but after the goal he was great with his dangerous long passes, and his pass to Lukaku started the attack for the second goal.
We didn't play great but we weren't bad either. The team created enough chances again but scored only two and after Parma's goal the players were put under some pressure, but they handled well. Parma final push was nothing dangerous except one-two corners. Well done.

I think the eriksen sub was to get vidal familiar again with broz and barella. I'm expecting vidal to start vs atalanta for some reason.

Find someone that looks at you like Conte looks at Graziano Pelle.
