Besides the penalty he looked fine to me.

Pace gives samuel problems as well. Not every defender is quick, andrea always relies more on his positioning. The issue is really playing with matrix, not a good idea partnering two libero's.

The debut is never an easy game and especially for a young player playing for a big team for the 1st time. I didn't feel he was uncomfortable as he did ok with his interceptions but he needs to have a more understanding with our current CB although he's yet to play alongside Lucio. Not a fast player cuz of his height but many worldclass CBs lack this quality.

Anybody else notice Zanetti running up to Ranocchia on the sideline practically after every goal and talking/celebrating with him? What was up with that lol looks like el Capitano has taken a liking to Andrea!

Maybe he's just telling him to be patient and his time will come? Andrea has been a first-teamer wherever he's been and now he finds himself on the bench. Il Capitano is a great leader and human like that. Or maybe they just get along good like you said and just like to celebrate together like Eto'o and Matrix.

True that. And I actually like Ranocchia's attitude (especially after our celebrations and stuff), he seems happy and friendly with players which is great to hear. Maybe I would like to see him playing in the second half while we secured the result of 2-0, but however, coach's decision is after all.

In his presentation, Andrea said he knows this is a club full of champions and expected sitting on the bench sometime so for now he won't be complaining I guess. He just has to wait to get his chance as Leo must already be thinking of starting with him but when the team is winning and the defence doing a great job it's difficult to change.

I believe that the FIGC hold back their answer just to screw with Inter so at the end of the season they would say that there had been some irregularity's and take some points of us. Good move from Branca and Inter being very cautious. Our defence sucked today because of Matrix but he is still one of us.

The problem is the rule isn't clear. It states a player may not play for two teams on the same day. But it doesn't clarify this. Does same day mean physical date or specific round?? Marco Brunelli will apparently clarify this shortly...
