Sanchez also wanted to leave because he wanted to play more. And he should have, he was very good whenever he played.

Welcome back #reunited

Gotta say, I don't miss Hakimi's celebrations the slightest.

Sign him under a condition that he will never play for the NT again. He always return injured.

He might be looking for one last shot at a Scudetto before chasing the coin in Saudi.

I'm conflicted.

On one hand, a 1year contract for such a player with those wages, it's a no-brainer.

On the other, he gets injured too often and tends to be too big of a ballhog. Currently with all the players we have in our squad, we look perfect for counterattacks, he can't really offer that, but he can break down set defences (just like Sensi)

To me, rather have Sanchez back for one year than Lukaku.

As long as Pavard also comes. I'll be annoyed if our defence isn't fixed when the summer ends

Unreal. We pay off 4 mil for the guy to leave, then we sign him for 1 year. Easy money for him. Hell no. Let's sell Hakan and bring the other Chilean. How much did we pay for him to leave?

At least he brings dribbling skills to the strikers. I really like him and hope he can add his values to the team

Just when the mercato team gets us all happy with Pavard on the brink of signing, we are then taken for another spin with resigning Sanchez, a guy that was paid to leave 12 months ago. Sanchez is not horrible, but it just shows the shortsightedness and lack of creativity of the management.

They should have never tried to get rid of him in the first place. It’s cost us a ridiculous amount of money for Correa when Sanchez was still an actual footballer so I agree on the shortsightedness. The money we could have saved by not buying correa angers me. Especially now as it could have saved us selling a player or helped towards that at least

Don't have one.
I was first to advocate for creativity when it comes to strikers, but imo there is no room for that if we are splashing all of our budget on pavard. In that case, our best and probably only option is sanchez.

I read somewhere between correa leaving and sanchez returning we are aiming to not spend a dime, so financially speaking it will be a straight swap. With that plan in mind, I don't think we can get a better or less risky option than sanchez.

Even if we sell correa for 15 mil which is the best option imaginable, with all of his faults I doubt for that amount you can bring someone who gives you more guaranties. As we saw this mercato semi decent strikers are going for 25 mil and up...

Regarding Growth Decree, would it apply to Sanchez? He was at Inter for 3 seasons, so would this be his 4th year in Italy since Growth Decree came into play, hence it does apply?

Does anyone know?

Also, which of our new signings does Growth Decree apply to? I presume Sommer, Carlos Augusto, Arnautovic, M. Thuram, and Bisseck?
