With the amount we paid him to go away last time, the gentlemanly thing would be to play for free.

He is motivated to join Inter, in combination with his talent, this is a great great thing.

So far the players arriving this summer, really want to be here. (y)

he could be injured for half of a season

its not a good option for us

if he will be fit all season, its a big upgrade over corrhea

You can probably apply that statement for any player (current, retired or even dead)

I don't understand why he wasn't worthwhile a year ago and now he is? Was it all just down to Correa being too difficult to ship out?

different circumstances back then. it was a different situation and we had to get him off our books. now he is coming for relatively low wages

I think that's what it was.

We really wanted Lukaku and had gotten him before end of June. At that point we had Lautaro, Dzeko, Lukaku, and then needed to keep one of Sanchez/Correa.

Given Correa was a big investment I guess we didn't want to get rid of him after one year and also didn't have as many options given his book value would have been pretty high. Now his book value is lower and he seems more inclined to leave than he was last year.

I always thought Inzaghi didn't value Sanchez that much but maybe I'm wrong and he was hoping to get Correa into some type of form given their relationship at Lazio.

Sanchez also wanted to leave because he wanted to play more. And he should have, he was very good whenever he played.
