If we reach semis, do we not earn enough to cancel the 60M we are supposed to earn from selling players?Saw a couple of days ago that a few teams are interested in him. With this performance, and maybe good games until the end, his value will go up and the interest in him as well.
Hopefully we keep him but with the money situation. Idk
No.If we reach semis, do we not earn enough to cancel the 60M we are supposed to earn from selling players?
Ok, we will earn more than 30M, the rest can be earnt by selling one of Dumfries/Brozo or some youth
If we sell Dumfries for 40M, we only get around 30M of plusvalenza. And that's already highly unlikely.Ok, we will earn more than 30M, the rest can be earnt by selling one of Dumfries/Brozo or some youth
We thought selling Hakimi for 60M would meet our target, then a few weeks later we sold Lukaku for a 9-figure sum and were still unable to do anything with that.If we reach semis, do we not earn enough to cancel the 60M we are supposed to earn from selling players?
We can win the CL and still have to sell an important player. If we reach semis, do we not earn enough to cancel the 60M we are supposed to earn from selling players?
You need to stop going full Nostradamus about us not making the top 4. There are still many matches to play and we're not 10 points behind the top 4.to be blunt, the problem is less about our revenue this season, but more our revenue next season. If a good CL run meant we brought in enough money to be roughly 0 plusvalenza required in the summer, then not being in the CL next season at all will be at least -70mil impact on our finances, probably more if you consider associated bonuses, prize money, sponsors, tickets, etc.
Our Serie A position has far more impact on the summer than our CL result does - if we dont make the CL, we may need to sell 2 or 3 players, even offset with a CL Semis run this season.
This is why I said Inzaghi needs to go, the draw vs Salern should have been the last straw, we're throwing away probably 3 seasons of CL for the sake of this CL semi run right now. All that in a time where Napoli, Milan, maybe Roma/Lazio as well will be able to invest in their teams (I expect Juve will need to cut back and sell)
I think burying our head in the sand and ignoring the ramifications of it doesnt help anyone. You need to stop going full Nostradamus about us not making the top 4. There are still many matches to play and we're not 10 points behind the top 4.
For such a gangly human, he’s very nimble and graceful. If he stays and we switch to a back 4, he should play as lb. He would be wasted as cb.
Football does not work in a linear way. Just because we failed to win the past few matches doesn't mean we are going to continue this path till the end of season. Our results against top and small teams have been very unpredictable this season, so it's ridiculous we go on and be sure what will be the outcome of this season based on certain results in the past fixtures.I think burying our head in the sand and ignoring the ramifications of it doesnt help anyone.
We've won 1 of the last 6? serie A games, including dropping very important points against Spezia, Salernitana, Fiorentina.
In 3 of our last 10 games we've got Napoli, Roma, Lazio, too. It's going to be a really tough run in, and nothing I see in this team so far inspires me to our ability to rise to the occasion.
The other side of that coin, of course, is all of our top 4 rivals are in good to great form... So the bad things are happening at the worst possible time for us, and the best possible time for them.
