Marotta said Hakimi was a job done by Ausilio in these 2 months.

It's really good Marotta and Ausilio can work in harmony and it's even better Marotta praises Ausilio for getting the job done. It's obvious they have a good relationship and they work well together. Personally i don't really care who does what as long as they improve Inter.

This guy addresses two massive problems. RWB and our lack of speed in attack. We must be the slowest fucking team. If we can work space for him to sprint into he will be devastating

I heard Candreva hasn't gone home after the game today. He still on the field deciding if he should cross or slow up the whole game.

Marotta offering credits

My man Marotta strikes again. Keep it going dude.
While I have utmost respect for Marotta, he seems to give this to Darth Ausilio.

Marotta haters please stand up. Incredible steal of a deal here.
You mean Ausilio haters? FIF seems to always blame Ausilio when something goes wrong and praise Marotta... Even Marotta could not do these kind of deals without Zhang financial backing.

GRANDE MAROTTA
Is Marotta being a gentleman?

Massive congratulations to Marotta, this is as good of a signing as they come
Credit where is due:

Inter director Beppe Marotta confirms they are ‘optimistic’ that the deal with Real Madrid for Achraf Hakimi will be concluded tomorrow.

There are numerous reports the purchase will be for €40m plus up to €5m in bonuses, and the Spaniards will not receive any buy-back option.

“The objective of the club and the Zhang family is to make investments, taking the opportunities that the market offers,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“I will not hide that we are in an advanced stage of the negotiations, but I also wish to underline the importance of the current squad that will play against Parma this evening.

“(Inter director Piero) Ausilio did an excellent job on the negotiations. We still have to reach a conclusion, but tomorrow will be an important day and we’ll see how to define the situation. I am optimistic. Ausilio deserves credit for the work he has done over the last few months.”

Marotta was also asked about other potential investments over the summer, such as Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.

“As I said, the club wants to raise the bar, thinking of the economic possibilities in a situation post-Coronavirus that is particularly tricky. We’ll see what the market has to offer.

“This Hakimi operation is very important. The owners gave us the possibility of taking the chance and deserve credit for that.”

It's about the team, not the individual.

Like Andre Villa Boas was brilliant under Mourinho, he's a disaster by himself.

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, the key is to make a team that surrounds them that fulfills all the weaknesses.

It doesnt matter who did what, until someone leaves. What matters right now is the outcome we are achieving.

I don't blame Ausilio nor do I give him credit these days. Thats coz Marotta is in charge of our transfer strategy. Which member of his team does what is Marotta's responsibility. So I blame Marotta for Lazaro and credit him for Hakimi, even if Ausilio may have done both those deals. Ausilio can only be as good or as bad as Marotta allows him to be.

Just like if Inter starts losing games because of lack of fitness, I wouldn't blame the fitness coach. I would blame Conte. Coz Conte is in charge of our team. Thats the way I see it.

I don't mind Ausilio staying as long as he has Marotta as his supervisor. Marotta knows which one to start negotiation from a scouted list, when to drop a deal if the price is excessive, not fall for e.g. De Paul 35m or Vidal 20m bs, even though he is wanted by the coach.

Ausilio-alone was disastrous. Ausilio-under-guidance was/is decent.

When was Ausilio alone? Which deals did he make or failed to make?

Ausilio hate is really funny in this forum indeed. Now that the grand master FIF favourite Marotta himself credits Ausilio for this COUP, people still try to find a way to push Ausilio down, even just a little bit.

Ausilio worked at Inter mostly at the dreaded FFP-fiasco / settlement agreement times. This is maybe the first year when there's been considerable funds available. And Ausilio made a brilliant deal. Was able to use player's will to get the price down that much.

However the cutest thing in this transfer is how Spanish papers try to bring in the narrative there's buyback clause for Real in the deal. While in reality there is not.

There are some clear things that Marotta brought to the club.

*Tough figure when dealing with federation smth we needed a lot in a situation when we are owned by a foreign kid , whom no matter how good and inteligent might would always struggle when dealing with the burocracy and mentality of old italian people in federetion and lega serie a.
*Strong decision making ( icardi-perisici-n9) saga , whether right or wrong
*Clear strategy shift , growth in the italian market by buying top italian prospects and challenging juves supremacy in this market
*Increased ability to hide real player negotiations to the media

Other then this the scouting-player finding - negotiaton is and has always been smth handled by Ausilio . Of course at the end whether we sign or not the player will depend by the saying of the senior leadership, Marotta and ZHang but until that point is all Ausilio and stuff.

There is no buy back clause.

But Real Madrid has a first option.

Yeah, like Bluenine said Marotta is the one giving orders and Ausilio is just executing them. I treat this statement of Marotta as a job well done, meaning he handled negotiations well. Marotta is the one with the overall vision, calling all the shots like icardi yay or nay.

I'm not spending so much time here and was not aware of so much hate for Ausilio. He is a great negotiator and there were many hints given by management about it over the years. The situation was how it was and you can only do so much with the circumstances you found yourself into.

But him being here for so long is a hint that the management was always satisfied with his work.

Imo, he is not great GM like Marotta, but once he gets a great GM giving him orders of what to do, that's where he will thrive.
