He isn’t as bad as you make him look like.

Yes he is kinda mediocre and I don’t believe he is ever going to be a key player for a club like Inter. But he does have some characteristics we currently lack.

I said he’s mediocre not bad. Which means paying 30 million for a mediocre player is a bad deal. Id rather just add the extra 10 and a player and get someone better.

I don’t care if the club wants cheaper alternatives in goal or in rwb. The striker position is simply too important.

Problem is we just don’t have those 40 mln in cash (and for 40 mln we don’t gonna have someone way better imo).

Gudmundsson is only a option when we can use counterparts and we sell Arnautovic (which is unlikely tho). So probably he ain’t coming anyway.

Then we shouldn’t sign anyone. Save the money play with the current squad and use it next summer when we saved even more money.

I don’t think a player like this elevates us. So why get a player we may try to sell in a year?

Yes I heard the same every summer "we don't have enough for a good player". Then we waste smaller on craps. Summing up the smalls + salary you would be surprise of the huge amount.

Don't tell me we need Arnautovic to win Scudetto last season. All I see is he is blocking the slot of another one whom worth it.

With three strikers experience enough we don't need to spend 30m on one not superior to them. Save those 30m, sell kids for cash or whatever, then add more on top next summer.

We signed Pavard, Frattesi, Sommer, Augusto and Bisseck for actual money besides Arna. And they all worked out pretty well for us didn’t they? You can’t expect you have a 100% score.

This was a long past debate and I wouldn't relapse. Check last summer ~10m deals all over Europe and you'll see many of them have been out of our price range now.

Nobody expects a 100% rate. There were deals that were terrible even from the look. I don't need to be Einstein to see spending 10m on a 34yo Bologna peak and long history record was bad. Sanchez made some sense, even Cuadrado or that random Dutch made some sense. Coz they were free, two were high level for a while and 'll leave after a year. No more salary wasted.

Not fucking Arnautovic. We are trying to offload him after a year, but not successful, coz he's sealing the slot, showing that this was a flop. No need for further excuse.
