Dafuq man?
We are Inter. It's disappointing not to have over 20 players leave for their NTs because that means they're either shit or too old...
Why do you want our players to play even more matches during the year? Inzaghi already overplays some of the players.

I cheer for Internazionale, not for the NT they play for.

Who said anything about cheering them?

If you have many NT players, it means that you have many high quality players. And the higher the quality of the NT, the better these guys potentially would be.

It's the most basic correlation in football.

It's not always the only way to determine quality. I don't think Zanetti and Cambiasso should've stayed at home in 2010.

I don't mind our players being NT starters, I'm just saying it's kinda problematic since injuries/fatigue is a problem. Sanchez barely ever came back from NT duty not being injured.

prioritize Serie A competitions to get the Scudetto, Super Coppa.

Ignore the rest.

Save the energy into the FIFA Club World Cup next year.

True but fact is if we are playing on the level we are supposed to then most of our Team will be called up for their NTs unless like in cambi and JZs case the NTs have a caryze coach at that point.
Arguably only players from big footballing nations will not be called to their NTs... Look at our bench last year most of them are starters in their nts

There is not always just 23 Inter worthy players in any given National team. I'm sure Spain and France left some quite good players at home. And also, is Pavard any worse just because he didn't play a minute for France at the EUROs?

Yes, if you play for NT, you are probably creme de la creme in the football world. But I also remember the french coach not taking Benzema. Granted, they didn't need him when they won the World Cup, but I still think he was Internazionale worthy player at the time.

Thats why i stated big NTs like france italy brazil argentina etc. they might not call up an Inter player cause they have to many good ones in that position. But for smaller NTs if you are at inter you are probably in the NT squad.
Also nowhere do i state if your not playing for your NT you re not inter quality quite the opposite if your Inter quality chances are you are a starter or at the very least in the 23 man squad of your NT.

My point was more towards it being problematic with us having played many games and injury problems or worries. Thats just how it is if you are a big team and competing on all fronts. Dont think theres any way around that.

Benzema is a bad example. He wasn't included for off field reasons. It wasn't because he wasn't needed.

But because of that somebody else was included who is now automatically good enough for Inter, apparently. I just don't like the OG argument for it, we don't have to continue it. I'm with Adriano on this.

What matters is quality. I'm pretty sure there are a few Italian NT players some of y'all wouldn't want at Inter. Or a French player. Or an English player. Or a German player. Just because Lukaku starts for Belgium that doesn't mean I want him at Inter.

Also, team chemistry is important. Chelsea couldn't properly incorporate De Bruyne, Ziyech or Salah, but they did properly used some other players that slotted better into their group.

Inter would dummy Belgium in a match.

I totally disagree, the top powerhouse footballing nations like world cup winners and a few more would not be an easy match.

I dont think Inter beats any of the top 13 teams currently in the fifa ratings. Maybe 15....

I mean maybe Italy if they aren't allowed to used our players

inter has a far better team then Italy, unlike them we have Actually attackers that can hit the goal.

Only top 5 teams have perhaps overall better squad but, Belgium I would not say has, Holland certainly doesn’t and neither dos the following on the list.

That Spain team from the last Euros would give a club team a tough game. However, if it’s a top club and they played 10 times I still suspect the top club team wins 7 or 8 out of 10.

No national team is beating Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern or even Inter in a best of out 5 for example. On any given day of course crazy things can happen.

Yeah our players play 38 games together during a season and train 3 to 4 times a week together meanwhile NTs play with each other what maybe 10 times a year not always in the same constelation and with like two weeks of preparation. Top that of with more often than not questionable caching quality.

Go through their squads player by player and you ll see they have more weak points then most top teams. There are exceptions as in france in 2016 or Spain 2010/12....

Also you re comparing the best NT to us compare em to city and its not really a discussion even on paper
