I wish we'd go for someone like Colpani instead of Zielinski (yes i know one is free). We could use a more penetrative style dribbler from midfield. And while Zielinski is more of an attacking mid, he's more of a metronome in advanced positions than a take on your man sort of player. We already have Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, and to a lesser extent Asllani and Sensi (lol) who can dictate tempo.

Don't have one.

You just described frattesi and the sentiment I had before we bought him. Different type of mid from the others, more of a goal scoring threat, loves to run into box etc... But we all see now that's enough only to be a bench option. If you asked inzaghi his wishes, i m sure he would love all six of his mids to be metronomes.

I don't think Zielinski is a particularly good Mkhitaryan replacement. The style of play Samardzic has to offer is more of what I want to see in his replacement. Zielinski feels redundant to what we already have and will just take away opportunities for Frattesi to develop. @Universe suggested that Zielinski is best suited to play the regista role.

But for that we either have to send Asllani on loan or start playing him elsewhere in the midfield.

Not seeing it. Also I'm not seeing how Zielinski can be the right move for us.

I also see Zielinski as more of a regista in our setup, although not his natural role. Inzaghi would have to do a Hakan-bis with him.

I'm sure, Asllani would be thrilled with Zielienski playing his role,

I honestly doubt Asllani nor Frattesi will ever develop into anything beyond bench material, so I see little issue in getting someone else. Although Zielinski isn’t particularly high up on my wish list.

Some ballers have great agents. Otherwise, there is no any logical explanation for a mediocre player like Eljif Elmas to be transferred to teams like Napoli and Leipzig for high transfer fees.

You may think that 25 million euros is not a high price. I know Elmas very well from his Fenerbahçe days. If it is worth 25 million, I can list you minimum 50 players from the Turkish League (including 2nd division) who are better than Elmas !

Please send your list to @Darth_Ausilio, thanks.

This Zielienski puported signing is interesting, means certainly that Agoume, Klaassen and Sensi are gone. As far as a vice Mkhitaryan goes it doesn't appear to me as an inspired choice, rather another expedient one.

If you asked Limone he would want sms or a clone. A goal scoring physical mid who can also pass properly.
