I remember someone mentioning that West Ham have an option to trigger a one-year extension in Soucek's countract which they will definitely do.We are linked with Soucek for free. Who would you prefer, him or Zielinski? (pls notice the salary)

I dont think thats without Soucek agreement. Considering his salary is so low, what if we offer him a pay rise?I remember someone mentioning that West Ham have an option to trigger a one-year extension in Soucek's countract which they will definitely do.
It's not a player clause though, it's a club clause, so it would be agreed on when the player initially signed the contract. Similar to how Darmian has a one-year clause in his contract so if we activate it, it would extend to 2025.I dont think thats without Soucek agreement. Considering his salary is so low, what if we offer him a pay rise?
We don't even have a DM in our current squad, but it's still beneficial to have one. Zielinski is more of a Mkhitaryan replacement, (un)fortunately he is still here next season. Not even the same type of players so it's not so much who to prefer but who will leave at the end of this season.
What makes you say Mkhi is "way past it"? Because it can't be based on this season's games. Very reliable player who has incredible stamina. Knows his role well and executes it accordingly.Zielinski is miles better than mkihi, he goes straight to the first team in my opinion. I'm desperate for him to leave, can't believe he could be offered a two year deal. He's already way past it.
There is a difference playing for the current Inter and current Lazio. We don't even have a DM in our current squad, but it's still beneficial to have one. Zielinski is more of a Mkhitaryan replacement, (un)fortunately he is still here next season.
Depends on Soucek clause though. If true that he is not deciding his future, well, no discussion here.
Btw any of the two is better than other suggestions like Kamada or Nandez.
According to Fabio Santini, we are signing Zielinski for free, 3.5m+ and 2+2-year contract.
Great news if true.
Yes it means 2 years contract and option to extend 2 more years, similar to Darmian's. Too good to be true tbh.what do they mean 2 + 2 year contract? 2 years and we can extend 2 more if we want?
With 30 years your career isn't over and not every transfer has to be a plusvalenza one. Zielinski for free would be amazing business and if the 2+2 option is only on the club's side, it would be even better.Zielinski's form has been rather poor this season (part of last season as well). Maybe he could redeem himself at Inter, as I would love to have him here, but the gamble is huge when you consider his salary. He's gonna be 30 soon though.
