Josef Martinez is a free agent and proven goal-scorer, we should sign him on a temporary contract. He can cover cover some minutes at striker.

Then sign Zirkzee for €20-€25 mil valuation in the summer. Give Bologna some youngsters and pay 10-15 mil in cash.

No issues as a cover for 6 months but he won't accept that. 18 months minimum is what he'd seek I imagine. And that's not good for us, he's a guy that had serious knee injuries and hasn't really been an Inter level player, ever.

And he's not a proven scorer, he wasn't good for Torino at all. Anyone at a decent level can be a good scorer in the MLS, it's a really weak league.

How does everyone feel about Zirkzee from Bologna? Not sure how good of a goalscorer he is, but he's a very interesting player imo. From the games in which I've watched him, he's not a 'typical' striker as it feels like most of the good things he does are outside of the box but seems a very tricky player to play against.

No idea what his ceiling is or how highly rated he is, but I find him interesting to watch.

Anyone who knows more about him?

Another striker who looks like he would suit Italian football is Santi Gimenez from Feyenord. I assume he would be pricy though.

He feels like the pure striker version of Marouane Fellaini

Calm on the ball, never looks rushed. The physique is similar as well.

Is this serious ? Ha ha ! Okaka was a proper flop even when he was playing for a mid-table Turkish team. I wouldn't sign with him even as a 15th striker !

Funny how Morata is having a far better season than Balogun so far . Still not sure getting Morata would be such a good idea (he is 31 and they wanted at least 20m for him), but I'm glad the dude is having his best season yet at Atletico. Props for finally playing up to his potential. 15 games, 12 goals, 3 assists.

Balogun on the other hand, 7 games, 3 goals, 1 assist. Hope he picks it up

But would he take the bench role? Probably not. And Morata starting would mean Thuram not starting and Lautaro + Morata might not be that good.

Really the only way getting Morata would work if he understood that Lautaro is the no.1 option and that he would have to share his minutes with others.

I think I was only one who wanted Morata who has been doing great since beginning of this season scoring 12 out of 15 matches which is absolutely great.
I don't know he is gonna keep this formor not but I really his playing style and think he suits our way of playing. The only thing about him i don't like is his finishing but yet in comparison of our finishing is fine.
I blv if we had him instead of Arna, we would give rest to Lauti and Thuram more .
