are we the 1st team to bring a player
So we will end up the windows with

Toro
Thuram ...... scores 10 and better than Lukaku especially if he doesn't stop us from scoring in 2 major finals haha
Sanchez > Correa
Arnau .... if healthy should do as well as Dzeko + 3 years younger

The 5th might be Akensamiro from the primavera.

Not a bad lineup

Look slowly we need to get a final 11. Someone to take Acerbi spot and a real long term goalie. Tho looking at the bench it brings me 1000x more comfort than I have felt the last 3 years when seeing the garbage we had there and kept playing because of their wages.

I am not gonna lie that I just happened to watch loads of Marseille last season. But from everything I have gathered, he really seems to have been exceptionally good. He is very fit and seems hungry again, for some reason. If we sell Correa and buy a young-ish striker, I absolutely wouldn’t mind taking him back.

This only, if he accepts reasonable wages.
This is re-assuring, thanks. I always rated Alexis as he can open up new dimensions in the attacking phase and was OK for him to leave only to make room for Dybala... anyway, it seems that he now accepts his rotational role and won`t complain about game time any more. Smart transfer IMO, the only question mark is his reported 2 years contract (instead of just 1).

We are taking back the lion, aren't we?
I mean, experienced and free agent, the perfect match for our broke club.
Unless Neymar, that just told to PSG his desire to leave asap, will call Ausilio in the next hours to ask for a contract, since Mbappé is out of our radars at the moment.
I had this feeling in my bones, too obvious we were going for him.
But as long as Correa is out I'm ok with it, can't be worse than him.
So our attack will be:

Lautaro
Thuram
Arnautovic
Sanchez

The only starter here is Lautaro imho, the other three will have to fight for a jersey, let's see who performs better during this year.
Hope that this time our managment had also explained VERY WELL to our lion that he don't have an assured spot as a starter, I'm done with his bullshit interview.

The problem with Sanchez is exactly he get all moody once he isn’t guaranteed a starting spot. I hope he has finally grown up, but I must admit I would really want too see it first.

Sanchez hopefully can accept he is rotational player first and foremost.

I think we can be certain of this. Why else would he come back? He specifically wanted back to Inter.

He proposed himself to Inter. It will have been made clear what the expect role is.

I don't think Sanchez has an issue with being a rotation/backup player. I think he sometimes had an issue with the amount of minutes he would get or lack of starts when we did rotate. I'm not a fan of complaining but I do think he could have had more starts in his last season with us.

Sanchez's last season here in Serie A: He started 7 matches overall out of 33 he was available for - around 20%
On the other hand, Correa last season started 12 out of 29 he was available for, and 12 out of 26 he was available for in his first season. That's around 45% over his first season and 40% in his latter.

In terms of goal contributions (goals/assists) as per transfermarkt.

Alexis Sanchez 21/22:
Serie A: 27 matches (866 minutes) - 5 goals 3 assists. Overall goal/assist every 108 minutes
All competitions: 39 matches (1,345 minutes) - 9 goals 5 assists. Overall goal/assist every 96 minutes

Joaquin Correa 21/22:
Serie A: 26 matches (1,023 minutes) - 6 goals 1 assists. Overall goal/assist every 146 minutes
All competitions: 36 matches (1,317 minutes) - 6 goals, 2 assists. Overall goal/assist every 164 minutes

In terms of minutes, Sanchez actually had a few more minutes in the season, but that's because of Correa's injuries (Sanchez missed 5 games through injury, while Correa missed 14 matches)

There was a match in the second half of the season away vs. Torino where we were awful, and Sanchez came on and scored a last-minute equalizer (finished 1-1). After that game, he played 16 minutes in the next 3 matches (on the bench twice with 0 minutes). Correa, on the other hand, played in all 3 matches, one of them as a starter. Up until the final game of the season where Correa scored two goals against Samp (After Milan already won Scudetto), Correa was on a run of 16 matches with 0 goals and 0 assists over 24 matchdays (he was injured for the other 8 matches). In that same period, Sanchez had 5 goals and 1 assist, but often played very little (for example, he had 4 matches where he played less than 10 minutes in each of them).

That was a bit of a rant, but I always felt Inzaghi should have used Sanchez a little better in that season. I get that he tried to give trust to Correa and get him going, but outside of his debut and Udinese game, Correa offered nothing. Sanchez, even when not scoring, had his creativity which helped us.

Spot on. Inzaghi’s failure to use Sanchez instead of Dzeko/Correa and D’Ambrosio instead of Dr Vrij in the run in is the reason we lost that Scudetto in my opinion. He wouldn’t alter his hierarchy despite form and it cost us.

I just read Milan is trying to get Taremi but Porto wants 25M. Didn't they want 30M or even more from us? From what I have read, Milan is confident to close the deal around 15-20M

€40m plus sell on you have to be desperate to agree to that deal

I remember Monaco tried to become what PSG became but the dude got divorced and that team went to shit. They bought Prime Super Saipan 15 Falcao, James, Moutinho and a bunch of other studs. Wonder if they are trying that shit again tho honestly 40 + sell on for that dude is insane.

Another positive for Monaco at the time is the players didn't have to pay tax which I think they changed. Crazy unfair advantage.
