The viable forwards at the prices being discussed are all disgusting. It is such a premium position and such a high risk position that i'd rather just get a body on loan rather than overpay by $5-15m on a player that generally shit.

You know its bad when folks are just going down a list of top scorers in Ligue 1 and asking if we are linked to randoms where the total sample size is like 10min of youtube highlights.

I mentioned his name based on the reported talks about his return to Inter. According to the reports he asked for 3m per year not 8-10m. He's free, has played in Serie A and Inter before and is experienced, so that would satisfy the board and Inzaghi's boner for a forward with these characteristics.

That's the reason I mentioned him, not that I want him personally. I think he can take Correa's spot for a year and we won't need to overspend for a 4th striker this way when we still need to find a RCB and another forward.

Lukaku and Dzeko was hopless last term, it can hardly be all that difficult to provide the lack of goals these two delivered last term.

Terami won’t deliver more then 5-8 goals, he won’t even be cheap and like Moratta way beyond what the management is willing to pay for none development players.

Thuram has the Physical characteristics Inzaghi wants, having two mountain with mediocre skills makes absolutely no sense. Better have one who seem to have the mental strength and who show promises in actual being able to score goals then some proven player whose potential is midtable worthy.

As absurd as it may sound, i'd rather keep Correa than hand Zapata a 2-3 year contract to fund his retirement.

This makes sense in a way that if we add Balogun, we cannot keep Correa or add Sanchez. Forward line would be too mickey mouse.

But please, no Zapata. Because of injuries he missed 18 games last season, 21 games in 21/22. Not a tremendous risk given he'd be 4th forward but still. Not a good rotation option if he's injured half the season.

From the names of Beto, Morata en Taremi, the Iranian would made the most sense. He’s kinda complete striker. 31 already and played at the Qatari league until he was 27. For 30 mln a too big a of risk as I doubt he will be good enough for us.
