Are you talking about Arsenal's player? Because I read that they want around 50mln for him. This is maybe not expensive, but definitely not for Inter.
I think they want 35 or something. I guess they raised the price on him recently.

I suspect Marotta's plan for Lukaku is to get him on cheap loan & lower wages with a 30m obligation to buy next summer. After Lukaku is a big success this season & at the Euro's next summer, Marotta will probably sell him to Saudi Arabia for big profit, and laugh at Chelsea.
A good way of thinking )

he only wants us..... they raised the price 5 million lets lower the offer by 5 million. They need his wages off their books and no one else wants him.

our team needs to be better at negotiating.

John Carew walking around on Milano airport intensifies.
https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/inter-pass-john-carew-after-medical-shows-hes-john-carew

Inter Milan have walked away from a deal for Norwegian striker John Carew after medical tests suggested there was a strong possibility their potential signing was John Carew.
After a difficult campaign, Inter are simply focusing on Champions League qualification and were dealt a blow with a serious injury to striking star Diego Milito.

In a bid to replace the Argentine hitman, the Nerazzurri brought in Norwegian free agent John Carew for a trial, but were forced to withdraw their interest after unexpected revelations from their medical team.

25M take it or leave it. We’re broke they know that, so no point over reaching.

If we don't use our money on Lukaku, and spend it on a young striker with potential (Like Balogun) I'm going to consider this mercato a success.

or we just promote our guys on loan and we replaced Lukaku with a guy we are paying 7m a season to not eat bench

I think Morata is a better deal than Lukaku. the salary 4-5m to +7m, the price 10m to ~30m.
both are 30 and their style of playing is kinda similar. Morata gets less injure and has exprince in seria a.

I can already imagine the narrative. We will sign Gnonto IF Correa leaves which will never happen.
yes this is the plan. Also, he must reject Everton and Villa and Freiburg. Our chances are high.

Not even close to the same. Even with all his injuries last season rom scored 14 goals overall , Morata hardly missed a game but only managed 15.
If it's between Morata and rom I am picking Rom.
If we can I would go for a younger profile but I don't believe we have the finances for that.

Well considering he is only willing to leave for another Serie a club the options who can afford his wages are extremely limited. We seem to be stuck with him.

If we have 35m available they could make a move for Balogun. Arsenal want 40m but there's a basis for negotiation as Arteta doesn't want him.

Issue is they're obsessed with Lukaku.

Gnonto and Bonazzoli linked by Pedulla. Gnonto is probably a loan deal which could be hard to achieve. Would probably require player to push heavily for the move.

We try to get rid of Correa clearly, somehow. Maybe later in the window he starts accepting solutions outside Italy.

Gnonto would be interesting. Bonazzoli is very 'meh' - just does not seem Inter quality at all, even as a 4th option. Obviously Correa has been terrible and needs to leave, but a 4th forward option still gets decent game time - almost an appearance every matchday given the rotation.

Someone mentioned him in another thread, but I'd honestly take someone like Okereke as a 4th option over Correa - brings some needed pace to our team. It also may be crazy, but I'd take Perisic as a 4th forward option on a free transfer. Anyone to get Correa out (although not Bonazzoli lol)
