If we get Pavard because we didn't get Lazar, I would wonder really what the fuck was wrong with Marotta, Inzaghi and co making that kind of trade-off to begin with.

Except there is a budget, we just for one reason or another cant spend it. Hence, why some people think players like pavard were all of this time a smokescreen to divert pressure from media and fans.

We have money, can't spend it, we fake interest in popular names like pavard to show ambition and then slowly but surely revert to the cheapest option possible. That way we can say we tried, but under huge scrutiny and evaluation, we conveniently decide that this cheap fuck right here is a better option.

I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but I fully believe it until it's proven otherwise... We saw so much fuckery in our striker evaluation and subsequently our budget shrank by the week that I can't help but believe it.

I already believe this and no one can convince me otherwise. The management puts on a show, mostly for Inzaghi to think they tried. It's happened too many times to be coincidence.

getting pavard could make the diffrence this season. Really good upgrade for the defence, on paper a good defence with Acerbi and Basto. Midfield is also amazing, even without Sama. And upfront we have "Il Capitano" , he will make the difrence. Even without a good partner for him we are good enough to win the league.
