Neglecting Coppa, and assuming we go out in 2nd round of CL, we will play 46 matches.

Now our default formation will have 2 forwards, whether together or one behind the other. Discount the few minutes we will play with 3 forwards when we are chasing matches, and assume no major or long term injuries. We will essentially have 46*2*90 (or 92*90) minutes of play time for our forwards.

I expect that to be roughly split as
Lautaro - 30*90
Dzeko - 24*90
Correa - 24*90
Sanchez - 14*90

I would go for Jovic (madrd would give it for free loan only paying salary) or Isak 40m to Real Sociedad

None are available as stipulated...RM want to rid of Mariano not Jovic, and Isak has a 60-70M clause.

I don`t think Belotti would want to sit on the bench here after all these years of waiting. It could be in his own interest to let his contract run down and pick his team (Milan are waiting for him). If we seriously think of getting him, just wait 4 months and sign him on a free. Dzeko will be 1 year older by summer of 2022.

We still need to offload Pinamonti (done to Empoli), Colidio and Salcedo before thinking of getting one like Keita Baldé [also free in 2022].

GdS: With Correa, Inter attack is numerically in place. But in these hours, in-depth assessments will be made on the account of Alexis Sanchez who just returned to Appiano Gentile yesterday. This is why it cannot be ruled out that Steven Zhang’s club may decide to strike on another forward, someone like Gianluca Scamacca should the opportunity with Sassuolo arrive.

Scamacca would make sense because he is a towering forward like Dzeko, however might not help his development + why would Sassuolo give him away on loan to us, where he will eat bench? Only logic here seems to be his agent Lucci - the same as Correa and Dzeko, who might push further for us.

In my opinion Martín Satriano will remain here as the towering striker backup.

Dzeko, Martinez, Correa, Sanchez and Satriano looks versatile.

TS - Inter could get Scamacca, who has the same agent as Dzeko and Correa, on the loan. They have a great relationship with Sassuolo.


Sassuolo is probably loaning him anyway, so if the Sanchez situation is very serious I dont mind getting him.

We have good relations with Sassuolo, Marotta and Carnevale are official buddies. And Inter were always gentlemen with Sassuolo. We bought Politano and Sensi, though both were official options and we had reasons not to redeem them. But probably was a gentlemen agreement that we buy them even if for FFP were options.

Contrary to many others here, I kinda like Scamacca. But the kid need to go to a team where he can play regularly. Verona would be very good for him. Even Sampdoria. He needs a good year as a starter under his belt, before making the next step to a upper echelon team. Theoretically he and Raspardori would make a very good couple. Their qualities complement each others. But at Sassuolo Caputo is pretty good and established.

Scamacca is okay for 4-5th choice, but not sure on the price.

He's better off playing regularly somewhere, but I won't be displeased if we end up with him for a cheap price.

We will loan him at most, with some loan fee maybe (because why the fuck would we get a player on loan for free from Sassuolo like Juve). There was already Mediaset rumor that the price would be 3m€ loan + 27m€ option to buy. Which is obviously fucking outrageous price given what Scamacca has shown so far in his career.

I wouldn't pay that much for a loan deal of a young striker as he's not even a starter for Sassuolo. Of course that option could be negotiated lower and we probably need to address striker situation next season again as Dzeko is one year older (and we don't know what will happen with Lautaro).

GdS reports our mercato traffic into the club is finished after Correa. I wouldn't count out some deal in the last days but surely we are now just trying to loan surplus players out. They also report Satriano will stay irregardless of Alexis' fitness levels.

So if this holds, no Scamacca.
