Another hyped player I never got the hype around. Let's hope Carrasco goes to Milan instead. Nothing great about him other than being fast, which brings the illusion that he's capable of beating his man (similar to Cristiano's standing trickery that never amounts to anything and then he accelerates to go past his man which gives the illusion that he's a great dribbler). Carrasco kinda reminds me of Gervinho. Which loosely translates to: I'd rather get Gervinho if it comes to this.

Backup RW and LW at Inter at best, the 2nd or 3rd sub in the game, thus too expensive for that role.

I wish you would thus type of detailed analysis with not only potential signings but also with current players like Perisic, Canreva and 9 long gone. .

Perisic is a streaky quality player. He usually works his ass off and is always too isolated under Spalletti and expected to beat his man and then make a good cross/pass to the only player in the area we have in Icardi who is marked by 2 and surrounded by 4 defenders. So if Perisic doesn't score or assist [to Icardi], you get the idea that he's "not there", which is usually untrue. He's been poor offensively as of late but he's almost always putting the extra effort in defence. Which people don't realize that it takes the toll on the offensive end and him being our 2nd major offensive threat, it's absurd how much pressure we put him to help the defence. He will thrive in a more free role, probably in a different environment and he'll end up being one of those Inter regrets where people wanted him out but when he's out they're bashing the management of sending him away.

Candreva used to be an offensive threat but he's lost that extra speed so he's just a frustrating player to watch now. It's a shame we got him too late in his career. He's still serviceable as a backup player but he's a player we need to cash in as much as possible at this stage because we can do better.

Nainggolan is too early to judge. We're all disappointed that he hasn't played much and that he got unlucky with injuries and putting aside that audio message, there's not much to say other than that. He's still our most dangerous midfielder, which speaks a lot about the quality of our midfield. I also feel that Spalletti is not utilizing him very well, he should play deeper, but I understand that he wants a scoring threat behind Icardi.

Mannnnn Carrasco went to China for 27!!!!! He’s like the price of fucking De Paul. Definitely sell Perisic, Candreva and get Carrasco.
Only problem is his wage. We could give him what peresic and Candreva make, fuck it.

Haven't seen much of Carrasco but what I've seen in CL and NT, not that impressive. His current salary 10m€ net in China is plain ridiculous, and he shouldn't get even half of that in Europe.

Don't believe a second we are after him.

I think Di Marzio was wrong, Inter wants Carrasco because of what is happening with Perisic. It's not a coincidence, Sky talking about Carrasco, news paper about Perisic that want's to leave already in January. Candreva has nothing to do with this story. Sky knows the situation, but not the whole situation.

We should just, once again, loan the player without obligation. It's our last 5 days of SA, so at least take advantage of it. Signing Carrasco on permanent at this time would be a huge risk.

Carrasco sucks. Doubt he'll be a Witself kind of transfer. Great footballer but a stupid head. Pass on him, go for Bergwijn instead

Carrasco is the one pushing the move. His agent proposed himself to Arsenal, Milan, Inter, Chelsea, Tottenham and several other clubs. I hope we don't bait. Arsenal also want him but have no money due to FFP.

I'd fly him to london if it was an obligation. Option would mean we need Arsenal to either finish top 4 or go far in the EL for them to actually purchase him

According to Sky, Inter have offered Candreva to the Chinese team as part of the deal to get Carrasco immediately. Talks are ongoing but the deal is complicated.

What did Marotta do to convince Candreva and Perisic to leave?

It would make sense to accelerate a De Paul lone style deal if we have to do the same with Perisic.
