I have a feeling De Paul will end up surprising you guys. I think he is better than a lot of you think but of course I wished Inter went after a better more proven player.

De Paul would excite me more if he wasn't 25 years old. If he was playing at this level and was 22, we would have something. (He would also be significantly more expensive). Much like Politano, I just don't see how De Paul gets significantly better than his current level.

Why is De Paul discussed in the foward thread when he is a midfielder? Btw, I think he is very mediocre. Did shit at Valencia and also didn't do much until last year. I don't think he will offer anything new that Vecino couldn't. Talent-wise, Joao Mario is better.

Lol what? Vecino has nothing in common with De Paul - also just the fact that he has scored 6 goals in half a season proves that he will offer something that Vecino doesn't. Not sure where this comparison is coming from. I can understand someone being sceptical of De Paul but comparing him to Vecino makes no sense given they don't play the same role, and De Paul's technical ability is much higher than Vecino's, not to mention he typically plays on the wing and can get past players.

I like De Paul's skill set, work rate and versatility, which are characteristics that our current attack lacks. Assuming Marotta is behind this, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

For 20M this is a good deal.He can score and he is a creative player. Two things that we need the most in this squad. Can play as a Radja backup or on the wing.We need depth.Just dont give up on Emmers without buyback clause.

Regarding this...aforementioned Palacio was also a late bloomer.
Palacio was here for 5 seasons. His first season and a half were excellent. But the last time he was at his peak was that derby against Milan where he scored that backheel. That was midway through his second season. He was very mediocre for the 3 and half years after that. He still scored here and there, but those were exceptions amidst vastly more poor matches. He clearly wasn't himself. He was very much like Perisic is now. It's almost unanimously agreed that Perisic has been shit since that hat trick against Chievo. He's still scored 7 goals and 11 assists since then btw but he clearly isn't the player he was, just as Palacio was largely finished 1.5 years into his 5 year Inter career.
And he had more than 1.5 good season at Inter. He was good/solid till the injury before the WC in Brazil.3 strong seasons here.

According to Di Marzio, if Candreva leaves in January Inter will go for Carrasco. Milan are also interested in him.

Anyone know how he's been in China? I liked him at AM.

He was good at Atletico but don’t know about China. I’m all for a loan-with-option-to-buy kind of deal.

Would be amazing, we need offensive playmaking. Especially from someone with massive resale value. He would do great for us

Eh, maybe he's realised he doesn't want to waste the rest of his career in China and is willing to take a paycut. Or maybe, it's the media making shit up again. I still don't think we'll sign anybody apart from Cedric.

Now Carrasco would be awesome. I never got why he fell out with Cholo and chose China, when half of europe wanted him.

Maybe the 10m€ annual salary has something to do with it.

Carrasco over Candreva is a no brainer but isn't he mostly a left winger? At least that's where i remember Cholo playing him. I think our sudden interest in Carrasco has more to do with the recent rumours about Perisic than with Candreva.

Interesting that so-called RnB "insiders" claim that Carrasco is just a red herring, cause Milan is after Malcom/Lozano/Bailey,so technically there's no competition for Carrasco from them. I also doubt that we are interested, this transfer is anti-Marottaesque.
