We need the trequartista, as we know there are not so many chances to get a first choice on the market but we'll see if Suning will surprise us.
1) Ozil
2) Pastore
3) Kovacic
4) Henrix Mxit'aryan
5) Andre Gomes
6) Teixeira
Vecino has been good for us tho, one draw against Juve in Turin should not change that
Matuidi absolutely dominated us last night. Juve having paid less than what Inter paid for Vecino, I wonder why we didn't get him when PSG are happy to sell him and definitely superior to all our current midfield options?
I imagine we would have fared a lot better in the attacking department yesterday if we'd had Pastore instead of Brozo, who completely shat the bed last night. I do think that if we were to get someone like Pastore/Ozil in Borja would lose his place in the side, as we'd need the running of both Gagliardini and Vecino to cover the defensive spaces in the midfield. (And this isn't me saying those players wouldn't do their share of the defensive duties, but you don't buy a proper trequartista to then ask him to spend most of his time in your half)
IMO Pastore would have made little difference yesterday, just like Icardi, Perisic or Candreva. Yesterday Inter lacked a strong midfield, we lost the battle where Valero-Vecino were 2nd to every 50-50 balls. We needed someone like Kante or Matic or at least a string B2B like Nainggolan/Vidal/Pogba to make an impact yesterday, players who have the intensity to win the 50-50 balls.

Maybe we should try and steal Emre Can from under Juve's nose. A strong, physical midfielder who is not that bad at passing for a DM. Has a decent shot too. And he will be available this January at a discount, or for free in the summer.
Has a lot of quality experience for a 23 year old.

Juventus have reportedly agreed terms with Emre Can to leave Liverpool as a free agent for a €4m per year salary plus bonuses.
According to Rai Sport, the German international’s entourage have practically shaken hands with the Bianconeri for this deal.
The move will only be completed at the end of the season, but the midfielder is free to sign for another club from February, as his contract with Liverpool expires in June.
It’s believed Can has agreed a five-year contract with Juventus, earning a salary of €4m plus bonuses per season.
Inter and Real Madrid are also known to be interested, but Juve have been laying the groundwork for over a year.
1) Best
2) Most likely
3) Unlikely
4) Shit
5) Shitter (though I think Gomes is playing in the wrong system)
6) Hmmmm....
