Vecino has been good for us tho, one draw against Juve in Turin should not change that

We need the trequartista, as we know there are not so many chances to get a first choice on the market but we'll see if Suning will surprise us.

1) Ozil
2) Pastore
3) Kovacic
4) Henrix Mxit'aryan
5) Andre Gomes
6) Teixeira

It's not only this match. Matuidi is brilliant anytime I watch him at PSG and that they were happy to sell raise bigger questions. Why we going after Nainggolan and Vidal when we could have gotten a midfielder as good as them for less?

I know Vecino is playing well for us but we can get so much more in midfield had we got Matuidi.

Matuidi absolutely dominated us last night. Juve having paid less than what Inter paid for Vecino, I wonder why we didn't get him when PSG are happy to sell him and definitely superior to all our current midfield options?

Why do you think he would have left PSG for a team coming from 7th place who had changed 3 managers in the last year and no actual reason to be title contender...

I imagine we would have fared a lot better in the attacking department yesterday if we'd had Pastore instead of Brozo, who completely shat the bed last night. I do think that if we were to get someone like Pastore/Ozil in Borja would lose his place in the side, as we'd need the running of both Gagliardini and Vecino to cover the defensive spaces in the midfield. (And this isn't me saying those players wouldn't do their share of the defensive duties, but you don't buy a proper trequartista to then ask him to spend most of his time in your half)

IMO Pastore would have made little difference yesterday, just like Icardi, Perisic or Candreva. Yesterday Inter lacked a strong midfield, we lost the battle where Valero-Vecino were 2nd to every 50-50 balls. We needed someone like Kante or Matic or at least a string B2B like Nainggolan/Vidal/Pogba to make an impact yesterday, players who have the intensity to win the 50-50 balls.

Is Sanchez a possibility? He doesn't look too motivated at Arsenal.

Spot on.. allegri made that game into physical battle with playing third midfield instead dybala. And spaletti actually realized with he bring gagliardini in for stronger the midfield. But I feel candreva crossing will be more useful than left brozovic on field.

He also almost cost Juve a goal. That shot that Brozovic missed at the end of the game came from Vecino winning off the ball from Matuidi in a dangerous area.

Matuidi is very good physically but I wouldn't say he's far superior to all of our midfield options. He's a terrible passer and every single midfielder we have is a better passer than him. He also doesn't bring aerial ability that Gags and Vecino do. He has a great engine and is the type of player that will do what the coach will ask him.

But I'm not sure he's so good for the type of football Spaletti wants.

Juventini actually not welcomed matuidi signing since he is more like allegri signing who prefer some hard worker strong player than flashy one. And in fact he cost them 20 mil with add on almost reach 30 mil plus high wage, I doubt inter had a chances to sign him at first place. Even we lost battle on howedes which is blessing disguise for us. Vecino signing is more reasonable and wise move if considering all aspect.

Maybe we should try and steal Emre Can from under Juve's nose. A strong, physical midfielder who is not that bad at passing for a DM. Has a decent shot too. And he will be available this January at a discount, or for free in the summer.

Has a lot of quality experience for a 23 year old.

This would be a very smart move getting him for free and save the money.

If we're winter champions I could definitely see this happening as we'd have more pull, would love him here, see a lot of him since two of my housemates are Liverpool fans.

Yes but he seems juBe bound... why would he ditch them for us?

Juventus agree Emre Can deal?

Juventus have reportedly agreed terms with Emre Can to leave Liverpool as a free agent for a €4m per year salary plus bonuses.

According to Rai Sport, the German international’s entourage have practically shaken hands with the Bianconeri for this deal.

The move will only be completed at the end of the season, but the midfielder is free to sign for another club from February, as his contract with Liverpool expires in June.

It’s believed Can has agreed a five-year contract with Juventus, earning a salary of €4m plus bonuses per season.

Inter and Real Madrid are also known to be interested, but Juve have been laying the groundwork for over a year.

It`s like hoping that Leon Goretzka will sign for us on a bosman, instead of Bayern.

That would be very good deal but I think he is not signing contract because he has already agreed to move to Juventus, just like how Pogba already signed for Juventus much before it became official.
