First, We already at end mercato, so many CB already not in market.
Second, Sabatini aim highly rated CB, like Mustafi. But the problem is Mustafi cost too much for Inter.
Especially now, Inter don't have money because FFP and Chinese government law.
The proposal is too high for Inter, especially Inter just want a backup CB, not key player.
Mustafi demand very high wage. And Arsenal demand high transfer fee.

Third, when Mustafi almost reached agreement. We already run out time to search another CB.

Maybe Inter don't think Mustafi good as Skriniar and Miranda to give him 4 million wage .

Jan Kirchoff, Joleon Lescott, Sebastien Bassong and Kolo Toure are the highest profile ones I think. Don't know their condition though..

While I agree, it's a whole different thing when you put them in and not only hope but count on them to succeed. It only takes a moment to damage the career of an otherwise promising player.
