It's not about the stats/goals he scored but rather how he moves on the pitch,he is fast,quick thinker,agile,can be very graceful,lovely to watch tbh,reminds me of a white Maicon,CAN defend,so good in both departments...

im also not so keen on conti. the real question is

can he even play as a rb? hes been playing as RM all year in a 3412 i mean can we even judge his defensive performances when hes had his ass covered by 3 CBs?

That is the big question mark with Conti, we certainly shouldn't be looking to buy him off his stats. Do you guys remember nagatomo and Jonathan's stats when they were playing as wingbacks under Mazzarri? Playing fullback in a back 4 formation is a completely different beast, some can make the transition and some can't. I remember Cristian Maggio for example being a phenomenal wingback and poor fullback.

Spaletti has used a back 3 a lot this year at Roma, so maybe none of this matters. Perhaps he wants Dalbert and Conti to be used the same way he did Emerson and Peres.

Yes Conti plays RWB/RM in Atalanta but with Spalletti this shouldn't be a problem
He could be his Bruno Peres for example
He plays various formations through out the campaign... remember this
He started as a RB tho so...
