Konoplyanka will be Spurs player next week ;)

Konoplyanka close the Inter: "I want to play for the cups"
As reported by Turkish media, the former striker Dnipro Evgen Konoplyanka, Inter would have refused because next season will not play the European Cup. "Next season I want to go to at a team that will participate in the European cups. Therefore I can not accept your proposal," he told the Ukrainian leaders Inter closing, in fact, the door to the Nerazzurri.

Yeah, Konoplyanka would have been nice on a free transfer along with a switch to 4 attacking player style,

We should buy Berardi (didnt know he was Interista)

Try for Verdi if even on loan with option, offer player loan other way.

Try for Sau, though i see it unlikely, worth a shot.

Maybe we should be looking into Rossi.

Go for unsettled Lorenzo Insigne, Offer Napoli a midfielder(guarin, hernanes), possible additional loaned player, bring in his brother Roberto to seal the deal. Guaranteed playing time together in Coppa Italia.

We should pick up someone from B, maybe a return of Garritano or Siligardi.

Talks of Cerri, I had no idea Parma was going to D, such a prestigious club until the parmalat scandal, what seemed like a return to grace taking such a negative turn, im sure teams throughout Italy maybe even Brazilian and Argentine will contribute. I'd take Ciano, though they may be establishing a plan of return, Looking foward to returning Cerri in the future and picking up a new top prospect.

Francesco Forte is doing good in C2, i think we bought him back, born in Rome, perhaps even a future deal with Lazio or Roma.

With 4 attacking style I see pressure being taken off the defense, everything running on all cylinders, a jump back into Champions league.

---------------CF--------------
---------------SS--------------
--------AM----------AM---------
-------------------------------
----------DM------DM-----------

Drop Attacker and put in fresh legs for another, switch to some sort of 433 with lead.

I say we should stick with 1 Kon only, and by the way this Kon is so hard to pronounce.

the Berardi suggestion and its complications have already been discussed, but I really like the Lorenzo Insigne idea ... and if it involves a straight swap for Guarín, then Christmas has come early this year ...

We should really get Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar Donetsk, he's available for around €5M since his contract expires in December, hell we could probably secure him on a free transfer already to arrive in January.

He'll be a very good backup for Icardi and could probably even play as SS given his characteristics.

Apparently going to Al-Ahli in UAE.

I would warn against judging players too harshly based on their Coppa performances. So many players are so tired and are just counting down the days until their holidays.

Based on one game? So Bayern are making a mistake and Inter going for the right targets, sounds legit.

Since we have done a business with Monaco, I can see Carasco as a possible target if we cant get Salah/Cuarardo. His price should be around 25m too, not sure Monaco would accept 'Inter formula'

Something I don't understand is how we went from Dybala and Fekir both which made perfect sense, quality players with tons of potential that added exactly what we needed to the team, we went from that to the likes of Jovetić, Salah and Perišić, being the only one of guarantee quality the Montenegrin but so fucking injury prone that it would be an awful deal, since he misses half a season to injuries on average, something maybe a rich club can afford but surely we can't.

If it's about money there's some good options available, the most sure ones would be Diego Perotti from Genoa, Karim Bellarabi from Bayer Leverkusen or Nolito from Celta de Vigo, of course these ones don't have as much potential for the future, there is still some room for improvement but you get what get, specially in Nolito's case. But one thing is for sure, these are immensely better options for the money than Jovetić, Salah and Perišić.

On the other hand if we plan to spend a similar amount of money to what we would have spent on Dybala or Fekir to try and get a real quality player with great potential, then the only one left is Felipe Anderson, and maybe you could argue, maybe that Ferreira-Carrasco is somewhat close to that level, but that's it, those are the only good options left at that level.

In conclusion I'm in total confusion about what is Management trying to achieve in the SS/WF department. Then again I was in a similar state when we were going after the likes of Touré, Motta, Melo, Song, Suárez, Mbia, etc. for the DM position and that ended pretty damn well, pretty much as good as it could go, let's hope it ends that well in this case too, because so far it looks pretty awful and depressing.

Bad move for Kenedy though...see you never. #NewWallace

Exactly. Some of these players are overlooking the importance of consistent playing time. Potentially ruining their progress.

I don't know about Jovetic, but going from Dybala & Fekir to Salah & Perisic sounds quite logical... maybe the coach has made it clear that his priority is a winger and not a support striker?

The quality drop could be due to availability (of wingers) and budget constraints. When we were chasing Dybala, we hadn't committed €50m on Kondogbia & Miranda.
