Ugolini: ‘Mazzarri is the first choice of Inter’

Massimo Ugolini, a Sky reporter and one that covered Napoli this season, discusses the future of the Azzurri coach Walter Mazzarri.

“Mazzarri is the first choice of Inter and Massimo Moratti if Stramaccioni is really leaving the club. Walter is now considering many offers, even that of Anzhi,” said Ugolini.

Tuttosport – Stramaccioni perhaps already knows his future

It was a long night for Andrea Stramaccioni according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport. The Italian coach is now awaiting patiently to understand his future.

“Everything has now collapsed and perhaps Stramaccioni already knows his future given the absence of Massimo Moratti yesterday at the San Siro. There is a spectator (available) that is interested (in the job): Walter Mazzarri.”

GdS - Mazzarri to be in Milan tomorrow

There are many coaches who still do not have a clear idea on what the future holds. Andrea Stramaccioni’s future is in balance especially after 16-loss season with a goal differential of -2. According to Sebastiano Vernazza, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist, “word is Mazzarri will be in Milan tomorrow but it is not clear about who he will meet. There will be many presidents in Gazzetta forum tomorrow.”

Paulinho: ‘I’m staying at Corinthians. No offer for me’

Paulinho, after winning the Campeonato Paulista, comments on his future.

“I’m staying at Corinthians. Maybe because we were eliminated from the Copa Libertadores that some people thought that I could leave and that I had offers but there is nothing. When I receive a proposal, I will do as I have done in the past which is evaluating it myself. There is nothing official and I have no offer.”

TS – Moratti to hire a new Oriali

According to Tuttosport, Massimo Moratti is looking for a strong figure that is able to help Stramaccioni. A man who can take what was once Lele Oriali’s job so if Leonardo doesn’t come back to Inter, there are always other options like Luis Figo, Francesco Toldo and Youri Djorkaeff.

Di Marzio: “Inter-Gomez, agent will come and then…”

Gianluca Di Marzio commented on the future of Alejandro Gomez: “Leo Rodriguez, the agent of Alejandro Gomez, will arrive in the next few weeks by the end of May. Papu is being followed by several clubs, his agent – currently in Buenos Aires – will have a meeting with Catania and eventually with Inter and Atletico Madrid who are in pole position to sign the Argentinian. In conclusion, Gomez’s future is yet to be determined.”

Sunday People – Tom Ince to Inter like his father?

Thomas Ince, Blackpool and Under-21 player, could follow in the footsteps of his father, Paul, and join Inter. According to the Sunday People, the young man who is also followed by Liverpool (another club where senior Ince played), is really liked by Inter president Massimo Moratti. Blackpool value Tom at 8 million euro, though his father believes that a move for his son to Italy would still be premature.

GdS – Constant contact between Inter and Mazzarri

“Mazzarri is watching what is going on at Inter with great interest because in his thought, it is all about the Nerazzurri. Over the past few days, there have been constant contacts between Inter management and his representative Beppe Bozzo because the hypothesis of Roma seems to be fading away.”

That is the Gazzetta dello Sport confirming the latest voices and rumors: Mazzarri is close to the bench of Inter.

Mediaset – Mazzarri-Inter? Meanwhile Bozzo is in Paris…

The list of Mazzarri’s suitors continues to expand: while Inter and Roma can’t seem to seal the deal, Mazzarri’s manager Beppe Bozzo who takes care of the now ex-Napoli coach is in Paris to meet management of Psg. While the French champions are looking to hamper the Real-Ancelotti deal, they are also evaluating possible successors. And among them the name of the moment is Walter Mazzarri. “Another Italian”. Which is how the sporting show presents this news released only a few hours ago: PSG want Mazzarri.

GdS: Newly promoted Hellas Verona want Longo on loan

Hellas Verona will return to the Italian top flight next season and will thusly celebrate their 110th birthday. The club are already planning their summer purchases and Gazzetta Dello Sport understands that Inter’s Samuele Longo is on the shortlist.

After returning from a somewhat controversial loan spell at Espanyol, Longo would be welcomed as a loan option at the Verona club who are looking to keep up the recent synergy they have found with Inter; Matteo Bianchetti played on loan for Hellas during the past season.

Inter are keen to bring Longo back to Italian football, but are not completely convinced whether or not he is ready to be thrust into the pressure of the club. Although it is ambitious, Hellas are keen on making the move.

Ralf Reveals: ‘Paulinho Has A Great Offer…’

Ralf, fellow Brazilian midfielder and teammate of Paulinho, yesterday pointed out that there is a serious bid for Paulinho that came from Inter.

“Paulinho deserves the best for his career and if going to Europe means he would improve, then it is right to go. I know he has a very important offer for himself and his family.”

Kondogbia’s agent: ‘We will keep Inter in consideration’

The rumors that link the Sevilla midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia to Inter have been around for quite some time and TMW has exclusively contacted the player’s agent, Juanma Lopez to clarify the possibilities of the player coming to Inter, in the coming transfer period.

What is the Kondogbia’s situation?

“Nothing is certain about his future, there are many teams that are interested in him because he is one of the most interesting players around. I would like to specify that Kondogbia is managed by us and our Italian delegate is the agent Giuseppe Bozzo”.

In Italy Inter and Juve are the interested teams. Have there been any offers?

“Teams of this level and prestige will definitely be kept in consideration. There are Spanish teams that are interested too”.

Would the footballer like a future in Serie A?

“The truth is that the player is concentrating on finishing the season in the best way with Sevilla. He is focused only on this and in two months he will know the truth”.

The return of Roberto Mancini to Inter?

Sport Mediaset reports of a shocking possibility; Mancini as Stramaccioni’s replacement.

They list newly-sacked Mancini as one of the possible replacements for Andrea Stramaccioni should the Roman coach be dismissed after a dismal season at the helm.

Mediaset reports that “In this way… certainly very expensively… Moratti would satisfy the dual objectives of the fans and resize implicitly the operations of the enemies of the ex-City manager. An idea, although not the only one, on which the president is thinking,” perhaps touching on the past internal problems between Inter and Mancio’s management.

Mancio could be an unlikely alternative to a much more likely scenario of Mazzarri’s arrival. The divorce of Inter and Mancini was cold, and any issues would have to be sorted out before any sort of negotiation could take place. Only a possibility for now.

Riotta (La Stampa): ‘Mazzarri To Inter, Agreement Made’

“Rumors in Milan: agreement for Mazzarri to Inter and Benitez on the bench at Napoli (unofficial).” Gianni Riotta, journalist of La Stampa and Inter supporter, posted that message on his twitter page and unveiled new confirmations that Walter Mazzarri is very close to Inter.

Mazzarri-Branca: Evidence of a meeting in Rome. The direct contacts have begun. Now…

Precarious. Andrea Stramaccioni feels like this in these hours: without any certainties. Especially because it was he who said: “Moratti will talk about this”, but Moratti was not at San Siro last night nor is he at the office today. Two clues that could be indicative that he is seriously considering a new solution with respect to the bench.

These are frenetic times consisting of many contacts being made. The channel Rete Sport from Rome guarantees with certainty that Walter Mazzarri has met in Rome with Inter’s sporting director, Marco Branca, who is also very close to the coach’s lawyer with whom he stays in touch with in Beppe Bozzo. This meet up was seen at Hotel Parco dei Principi.

It was actually Mazzarri who underscored, after his goodbye to Napoli, that he was going to “evaluate offers from tomorrow (today).” That “tomorrow” was quite literal because there are confirmations on the fact that initial direct contacts have been made between the two parties and Mazzarri is the man of the moment, his candidature and Stramaccioni’s sacking are being evaluated.

We will see if anything will become of these deals, followed by a choice. At the centre of it all, Stramaccioni’s sacking is an idea that should be taken in consideration but these assurances can only be given by Massimo Moratti, quietly and within these critical hours. Crucial hours for Mazzarri and Strama: we can only wait and see.

Sky – Branca is now in Milan, the next few hours will be decisive

As reported earlier, Marco Branca met up with Walter Mazzarri in Rome and Sky informs us that Inter’s technical director is now back to Milan and could meet up with Massimo Moratti to talk about Andrea Stramaccioni’s future. The new few hours will be decisive for the Inter bench.

SportTV – It’s all done. Paulinho will go to Inter

Well, it seems like Inter now have a solution for its midfield for the upcoming season. That Mr. X that will play together with Guarin and Kovacic in the midfield of three seems to be precisely Paulinho, the long time target of Inter.

This was revealed by Wagner Vilaron, SportTV journalist.

“We all know that Inter were looking at Paulinho last summer. The player decided to stay because he wanted to play the Club World Cup and then the Libertadores. Now, after the elimination of Corinthians, the player’s agents have reached agreement with the Italian club soon after for the transfer of Paulinho to Italy. The announcement will be immediately after the end of Paulista (Brazilian league).”

Carrizo’s agent: “He wants to stay at Inter …”

Pablo Sabbag, the agent of the South American goalkeeper Juan Carrizo, voiced the demands of his client: “On Friday I’m meeting up with Inter to discuss the future of Carrizo. He has a contract with the Nerazzurri until 2014 and wants to understand what the plans of Inter are. The will of the player, however, is clear: he wants to stay at Inter because in the past six months he has been doing very well… We will know on Friday.”

Rocchi’s agent: ‘Renewal? Within 2 weeks, you will know’

“I think two weeks from now, maybe even sonner – says Fabio Parisi, agent of Tommaso Rocchi – you will know the future of Tommaso. We have not yet talked to Inter and I think we will at the end of May, The league is over but I think the Nerazzurri have more serious issues to deal with such as those related to coaching. You ask me if there are any signs of Rocchi staying? Not yet.”

Sky – Coaching staff of Mazzarri will follow him

According to a report from Sky Sport 24, the coaching staff of Walter Mazzarri will follow him to whenever his next destination is. To talk about this is Massimo Ugolini who is close to Mazzarri during these two seasons in Naples. The Sky journalist says that at least one or two coaches, if not even more, will go with Mazzarri to his next club which could possibly be Inter.

GdS – Mazzarri very close to Inter

For the Gazzetta dello Sport, Walter Mazzarri is getting closer and closer to Inter.

“Massimo Moratti is in silent and he was not present at the Meazza for the last match of the season against Udinese. But the availability of Mazzarri to start a new project at Inter is a possibility that could really sway the Inter president. Mazzarri for his personality, charisma and achievements in recent year has what it takes to start a new cycle. Nothing has been decided yet but the chances of Mazzarri leading Inter next season are increasing hour after hour.”

Sky – Mazzarri ready to take Stramaccioni’s coaching job at Inter

Talks in progress at these hours between the men of Massimo Moratti and Walter Mazzarri. The silence of Inter president is a sign of reflection and is ready to explore every possibility. Now the sacking of Andrea Stramaccioni has become a serious hypothesis as it has been widely reported in Italy.

According to Sky Sport 24, “Moratti seems to have decided: Stramaccioni is more and more in balance with Mazzarri ready to take his place.”

We are just waiting for the announcement, one that is in favor of Walter Mazzarri.

Sky confirms – Bye bye Strama. Contact with Mazzarri continues…

In an interview with Massimiliano Nebuloni, Inter president has finally broken his silence to speak briefly on the coaching situation at Inter.

“I’ve heard that Stramaccioni is worried and I’ve told him to stay calm. No one at Inter knows what I have in mind,” said the Inter boss. So still no confirmation necessary for the curent Inter coach.

Meanwhile, Gianluca Di Marzio gives us the latest on this saga.

“After the words of Moratti, the future of Stramaccioni on the Inter bench remains in doubt. Contacts of the last hours were with Walter Mazzarri. After being freed by Napoli, the coach does not seem excited in the prospect of coaching Roma. Mazzarri is waiting for the call of Inter and inquires have been made last few hours. Moratti will now talk to Stramaccioni who is on the verge of being fired after the president has changed his mind.”

Sky – Branca’s future uncertain with the arrival of Mazzarri?

From Sky Sport 24 studios, Gianluca Di Marzio explains how Inter, at this point, can make many changes and not just at the coaching position.

“For Stramaccioni, the sacking is virtually there. With the very probable arrival of Walter Mazzarri, we would need to pay close attention to the situation of Marco Branca who so far has done his work on the transfer market for a coach that is about to be changed (Strama). Two questions that need answers to.”

TS – Two figures at Inter strongly support the hiring of Walter Mazzarri

According to Tuttosport, Walter Mazzarri is the absolute favorite for the Inter bench and there are two figures in the club who have strong support for the former Napoli coach: the son of Massimo Moratti Angelomario Moratti and general director Marco Fassone. The latter was with Mazzarri during their time together at Napoli.

Three-year contract ready for Walter Mazzarri

The coaching is situation is like this: after a very disappointing season at Inter, Andrea Stramaccioni is on the verge of being fired and in his place, Walter Mazzarri is the number one candidate.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the former coach of Napoli is waiting but he will become the next coach of the Nerazzurri. For him, a three-year contract at 3.5 million euros a season is ready. The rumors of a sensational return of Roberto Mancini or one of Spalletti and Blanc, are not confirmed.

Stramaccioni is very disappointed and here’s why…

Andrea Stramaccioni is “very disappointed” as it is imminent that he will be sacked by Massimo Moratti. The reason would be the club has always been reassuring its trust him who, by the way, was already studying Inter of the future by talking of possible new signings.

2-5 defeat to Udinese makes Moratti to rethink about Stramaccioni

The 2-5 defeat against Udinese, reported by the Corriere dello Sport, has made Moratti to rethink and fueled even more doubts that he had tried to erase.

Moratti has finally realized that it would be difficult to continue to protect Stramaccioni and yesterday, the president took another day of reflection at home. He did not go to his office and was just staying home alone with a decision to make.

Tuttosport – Here’s contract for Mazzarri

Tuttosport already has figures ready in Walter Mazzarri’s contract if he is indeed chosen by Inter to be the club’s next coach. The coach from San Vincenzo should have a three-year contract at about 3.5 million per season. This figures have been widely reported by the Italian media and it is the agreement in principle between both parties.

Announcement of Mazzarri could get delayed

Here is the warning by the Corriere dello Sport: the announcement of Mazzarri could get delayed a bit. The reason is if the majority share of the team is sold, then the new president/owner would like to get a coach of his choice.

Paulinho could have similar role as Hamsik under Mazzarri

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter continue to think about Paulinho for its 2013-2014 midfield. The Rome based newspaper suggests that the Brazilian could have a similar role of that of Hamsik especially with Mazzarri at the helm of Inter.

Other than the Brazilian, Inter also like Fernando, Kondogbia and Nainggolan and also do not rule out possible Nocerino-Silvestre exchange with Milan.

Moratti: ‘Doing what best for Inter’

MILAN - Massimo Moratti answered the questions of the press outside the Saras offices:

Read what the Nerazzurri president had to say in full here on inter.it:

Have you spoken to Stramaccioni?

“I’ve not yet spoken to him nor anyone else. We’ll see if, after this season, I have time to sort things out.”

So you’re considering what to do?

“I’m thinking long and hard. This is a period in which, along with everything else, I’m trying to find a solution.”

Given the assurances over the last few days, what’s caused you to change your mind about the coach?

“I’m not yet saying that I’ve changed my mind, all I’m trying to do is consider what’s happened so I can see what really is in Inter’s best interests at this moment in time.”

The numbers don’t make for good reading…

“You can’t get away from that, I’ve realised that for myself.”

Moratti: ‘Still to make a decision’

MILAN - Massimo Moratti again answered the questions of the press gathered outside the Saras offices.

As ever read what the Nerazzurri president had to say in full here on inter.it:

Still no news?

“We’re still making decisions, nothing’s been done yet.”

Should we expect it to be resolved by this evening or will it take a bit longer?

“No chance of anything this evening, but there’s no rush. We’ve got time.”

Coming back to what we discussed earlier: the stats don’t make for great reading, but Stramaccioni is a talented coach…

“I agree with you. On the one hand he’s a talented guy who will definitely be a success in this business, on the other we have the situation we find ourselves in. So I’m thinking about the best choice I can make.”

Are you a fan of Walter Mazzarri?

“They’re all good coaches, but then they have to work at Inter, which is something different.”

Giovambattista: ‘All done. Mazzarri has signed contract’

Radio Radio director Ilario Di Giovambattista has confirmed on Twitter that Walter Mazzarri will coach Inter next season. ”I have again received confirmation and that Mazzarri has signed a three-year contract worth 3.5 million net with Inter. This is fact and not just words.”

Catania president: ‘There’s offer from Inter for Gomez’

Speaking to Telecolor Antonino Pulvirenti, Catania president, talks about the future of Alejandro Gomez, one that Inter are following very closely.

“At this moment, there is no one offer that is superior than others. Offers from Inter and also from Atletico are valid and there is also an interesting Russian possibility.”

Pedulla – Mazzarri likes Mauricio Isla

Straight from SportItalia, transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla talks about the future Mauricio Isla especially if Walter Mazzarri is indeed coming to Inter. ”Isla could fall into the plans of Inter because the player is really liked by Walter Mazzarri,” said Pedulla.

Inter to invest in transfer market with Mazzarri

Speaking to Radio CRC, journalist Alfredo Pedulla continues to talk about the chances that we would see Walter Mazzarri at Inter. The transfer expert says that one of the main reasons that convince Mazzarri to join Inter is the club’s willingness to invest in the transfer market.

Stramaccioni to miss training tomorrow. The reason…

According to Sky Sport 24, Andrea Stramaccioni will not direct training tomorrow at Appiano Gentile. The official reason is because the coach has suffered a virus (flu like symptoms) but this may very well be another sign that his time at Inter is almost over.

GdS – Mazzarri just one step away with transfer targets are Zuniga and Nainggolan. His Hamsik…

Walter Mazzarri is “ready for Inter” and this is according to the Gazzetta dello Sport in its Wednesday edition. The Milan newspaper also talks about a two year deal for the former Napoli coach who already has a couple of transfer targets in mind. “The coach wil focus on bringing to Inter Juan Camilo Zuniga and Radja Nainggolan as reinforcements, while Guarin will be his Marek Hamisk.”

Moratti not convinced by Mazzarri but…

Here is the latest on the Inter coaching situation from Sky reporter/journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

“Inter president did not seem convinced by Walter Mazzarri because the signs were pointing to his will of having continuity. However, the need to give a spark to this club prevailed and soon the official announcement will arrive.”

Mazzarri targets Felipe Melo

According to the Corriere dello Sport in newsstand in a few hours, Walter Mazzarri has already made a request for the midfield of Inter. “Mazzarri wants Felipe Melo at Inter,” reads the headline on the front page of the paper.

Caldirola’s agent: “I will talk to Inter and we’ll see”

Marco De Marchi, the agent of Inter defender Luca Caldirola who is on loan at Brescia, talks of his client’s near future.

“Luca, at the moment, is focused on his current situation, he’s in the play-offs with Brescia and when he’s done with that he will travel to Israel for the Under-21 European Championship so at this time, I believe it is inappropriate to talk about the market. The only thing I can say is that I’ll have to talk to Inter and Cesena who own the boy to see what they plan to do with him. I think it will take at least a month to finally have a clear idea of Caldirola’s future. ”

Inter will make two signings in the midfield for Walter Mazzarri

Inter will make two signings. This is the certainty of Tuttosport which explains how Inter management is seeking to sign Paulinho and Fernando for Walter Mazzarri’s Inter. The official appointment of the former Napoli coach is very close but meanwhile, Moratti continues to be in talks with the Indonesians as possible investors.

Manchester United want Andrea Ranocchia, offer coming in the next few weeks

As we are waiting to see what will happen to the future of Inter bench, in England, another club has recently made the change after 27 years: David Moyes will start a new era with Manchester United and the former Everton coach, according to FC Inter 1908, has identified Andrea Ranocchia as the ideal player to replace 34 year-old Rio Ferdinand although the veteran defender has just extended contract for one more season. The intention of the Scottish manager is to submit an offer to Inter in the coming weeks for the Inter defender who still has two more years in contract.

Doctor Franco Combi, the next person to leave Inter?

Sources gathered by Telelombardia suggest that Massimo Moratti is not stopping at just one change at the coaching position. In addition to Andrea Stramaccioni, who is already sacked (not official), the next name is Franco Combi who is the current Inter chief of medical staff. The Inter president is already thinking of Casalini, who was Primavera doctor during the Mancini era, as a replacement.

Zuniga wants to come to Inter with Mazzarri

Walter Mazzarri could now be considered as the new Inter coach and in his game, wingers are extremely critical and Inter will have to pay attention for this role. The coach has a special relationship with Zuniga who is linked to Napoli until 2014. The Colombian is really tempted to follow him to Inter despite the pressing from Juventus.

Mauricio Isla, one of options for the wings

Mauricio Isla is considered as an alternative for the wing position at Inter especially with Walter Mazzarri at the helm. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, in addition to Zuniga, Mazzarri also likes Chilean Mauricio Isla for his characteristics in this position. The paper also points out that Mazzarri will leave Branca and Ausilio at work peacefully so that they can find the best solutions possible for the club.

Mazzarri likes Nainggolan but there is… Napoli

Radja Nainggolan has been linked to Inter for the past few weeks but nothing concrete really happened. However, with the arrival of Walter Mazzarri, we could see something in the next few weeks because the Italian coach really likes current Cagliari midfielder. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, it will not be easy because on the Belgian there is also Mazzarri’s former club Napoli so Inter might have to go to other options.

Cassano staying with Mazzarri?

Is Antonio Cassano staying thanks to the arrival of Walter Mazzarri? The former Napoli coach knows Fant Antonio very well during their time together at Sampdoria and the Bari born player contributed significantly this year with Inter although there were some issues with Andrea Stramaccioni. For Cassano, the coming of his former coach is an important opportunity.

Mazzarri will not sell Handanovic

With the arrival of Walter Mazzarri, Samir Handanovic has become untransferable or has the status of “not for sale.” The Italian coach considers the Slovenian goalkeeper as a very important player in his project and will not sell the player according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Possible starting lineup under Walter Mazzarri

Screen-Shot-2013-05-21-at-8.25.07-PM.png

You can expect a lot of changes in this upcoming summer. With the arrival of Walter Mazzarri, Inter management will have to re-adjusted their plan that they have been working on for quite some time for Andrea Stramaccioni. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Zuniga and Fernando are the two objectives that the former coach of Napoli would like to have at Inter. Of course, the likes of Campagnaro and Icardi have already been signed for a few months now. This is obviously nothing official on how our team would look like next season.

Mazzarri to send Jonathan and Schelotto packing?

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter will battle Juventus to grab Zuniga from Napoli. For Mazzarri, wing plays are extremely important and so Inter would have to pay close attention to signing the right players in this position for him. Zuniga is also being looked at by Juventus and from which, even Isla is considered an option for Walter Mazzarri and the Chilean costs 7 million euros. With Zuniga, Inter would have Jonathan and Schelotto on the right and Nagatomo and Pereira on the lef although Corriere dello Sport suggests that the first two could leave the club with Mazzarri at the helm.

Four different teams on Paulinho: will he choose Inter?

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter are planning another attack to sign Corinthians midfielder Paulinho who costs at least 17 million euros. However, there is competition from strong financial powers in Europe: Anzhi, Shaktar and Monaco. Will Inter be able to overcome them? We will need to find out as this summer transfer goes on.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzzurri continue to track Fernando and Kondogbia.

Sport Mediaset – Mazzarri’s signature to arrive next week

According to a report from Sport Mediaset, the imminent arrival of Walter Mazzarri will be accompanied by changes not only in the technical but also in medical staff as well. Doctor Combi would have a backseat role compared to one that he has had in recent years due to some conflicts with different coaches in the past and many major injuries suffered by the players.

In the meantime, contacts between Moratti and agent Beppe Bozzo continue but according to Sport Mediaset, the signature of the coach should only arrive next week.

Mudingayi said no to Napoli, wants Inter stay

As mentioned a few weeks ago, Inter’s intention is to sign Gaby Mudingayi to a permanent contract. The Nerazzurri would only have to pay 750 thousand euros to have the entire card of the Belgian. However there have been rumors of a possible departure because the player is still recovering from a major injury. According to FC Inter News, Mudingayi has said no to Napoli as he prefers to stay at Inter. This is his desire for the immediate future.

Here is why Moratti has chosen Mazzarri

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Moratti has chosen Mazzarri for the results that he has been able to achieve. The career of San Vincenzo coach is all about making the best out of any situation that his clubs have given him. And for a club that does not have economic strength to do a true revolution and buy real champions, he would be a good fit. Inter could really be his big break, a club that is traditionally used to winning and now needs to rise again.

Sky – Inter to start negotiation for Nainggolan

Andrea Paventi of Sky Sport 24 has just reported that Walter Mazzarri already has clear ideas on who he wants to bring to the club. Inter will start negotiating for Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan who is liked by the club for quite some time. Also, the former coach of Napoli has explicitly asked for Juan Camilo Zuniga.

Milan interested in Matias Silvestre

It was not a good year for Argentinian defender Matias Silvestre. The player was not very convincing in his performances and is at high risk to leave the club this summer. Palermo president recently said that Inter have an obligation to sign the player to a permanent contract, however, that does not mean that Silvestre would be staying at the club. According to FC Inter News, his future is not here with Inter but with… Milan. Voices suggest that the Rossoneri could be interested in the defender.

Agent: ‘Inter want Felipe Melo? Talk to Juventus’

The imminent arrival of Walter Mazzarri on the Inter bench has sparked different voices related to the transfer market. Among them, there is Felipe Melo on the list of reinforcements for the former Napoli coach. The Brazilian had a great season in Turkey with Galatasaray together with Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba but his card still belongs to Juventus who will soon decide the player’s future. In an interview with FC Inter News, agent Jose Rodriguez Baster has this to say regarding the future of his client.

Baster, what is the situation of Felipe Melo?

“Felipe still has two years in contract with Juve. We are often in contact with Marotta and Paratici, Juventus directors.”

But now it is time to make a decision.

“Exactly. Felipe just had a fantastic season with Galatasaray as he played at a very high level. Now we want to understand the idea of Juventus and what they are thinking of the situation.”

What is his future looking like?

“It is simple: in case that they do not want him, the player has a lot of interest from other clubs. However, if they do, then it would be an honor for Felipe to stay at Juventus.”

Are Inter serious on Felipe Melo?

“Inter have not contacted me. Those who want Felipe must talk to Juventus.”

A loan is possible?

“In the next few days I will have a meeting with Juventus to understand what they want to do with Felipe. And if Juventus do not want to keep him then I believe it will be more of a permanent transfer. But for Felipe, it would be a pleasure to return to Juve and play for the next few years.”

Inter are among the options?

“Again, If Juve don’t want him then we will look for other options. I cannot say more because I have to figure things out first with Marotta.”

Inter signed 17 year-old Romanian striker George Puscas

New talent is coming for Inter. The transfer of George Puscas to Inter has concluded and above is the photo taken by ProSport, a Romanian source, which confirms the transfer. Puscas is a 17 year-old striker coming from Liberty Oradea, a club in the second division league in Romania. Despite being born in 1996, the player has already scored two goals in the first team. Puscas, who was also sought after by Arsenal but the offer from Inter was superior, now will come to Italy together with the club sporting director and agent.

Radio Radio – Here are Mazzarri’s requests

Ilario Di Giovambattista, the director of Radio Radio speaks about Walter Mazzarri’s requests if he does in fact land the Inter job:

“Mazzarri will bring to Milan seven staff members, when it comes to the market; a strong striker, a central defender, a midfielder, and Zuniga.”

Moratti: ‘Mazzarri signed for Inter? Not true. Mancini…’

The latest rumors suggest that Walter Mazzarri has already signed for Inter but the club president Massimo Moratti has quickly denied the news.

“The rumor that has been going around is not true. There is nothing to communicate but I know that Andrea Stramaccioni is not well. But he should stay calm, nothing more. I do not seem to have anything exciting to tell. Mancini as a possibility? In football, everything is a possibility.”

Sky – Walter Mazzarri will coach Inter next season

“Details to be defined, contract to be signed.” This is how Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky explains the latest situation regarding Inter and Walter Mazzarri.

“Inter and Walter Mazzarri are very close and it is just a matter of days. Moratti has denied that there is already the signature but now it is only a matter of time. Everything will be announced no later than the beginning of next week and it is time to define the farewell of Andrea Stramaccioni. With Roberto Mancini, there are no contacts and the club will start over with Mazzarri. Today, the coach met with his agent Bozzo and contractual issues were sorted out. Everything is ready for Mazzarri to go to Inter and we are waiting for the announcements.”

Delli Carri: ‘Quintero, Inter remains very interested’

According to TuttoUdinese, Daniele Delli Carri ,now former sporting director of Pescara, talks about the situation of Juan Quintero: “He is followed by Benfica but the Portuguese club is not the only one. Quintero is a player that interests many. In Portugal, for example, he is also followed by Porto then there was also a request from Lokomotiv Moscow. Even in Italy, the player is very popular, but the club that has shown great interest was Inter."

Marca – Inter following Wakaso

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the Nerazzurri sent their scouts to La Riazor stadium of Deportivo La Coruna where Espanyol played the last game of La Liga. The intention was to inquire about the 23 year-old Ghanian midfielder, Wakaso Mubarak, who Espanyol might sell because of the club’s difficult economic situation. Wakaso has a contract until 2016 and his club claims that they have not yet received any formal offers, also Everton are on his trail. Inter who loaned the Barcelona club Philippe Coutinho and Samuele Longo in the past could benefit from the good relationship to buy the player. Wakaso is valued at around 4 million euros.

Alberti: ‘Mazzarri will go to Inter with Maggio and Zuniga’

Interviewed by CalcioNapoliLive, Jose Alberti reveals an interesting story about Inter and the upcoming transfer market: “I knew that Vargas didn’t want to return to Napoli, perhaps he will remain in Brazil. Although, Zuniga and Maggio will probably leave and follow Mazzarri to Inter. I can reveal that Fernandez will return to Napoli, but there is also pressure on him from Fiorentina.”

Mediaset – Paulinho can go to Inter but the problem is…

Inter are back on Paulinho and it was confirmed by Sport Mediaset which explains it is not a simple deal. The agent of the Brazilian, Giuliano Bertolucci, explained that his client has two options: Inter Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk. Paulinho has expressed his desire to move to Italy and play for Inter even though the wage offered is a bit less than the one offered by the Ukranian club, 2.8 million against 3.5. Though, the real problem between Paulinho and the Nerazzurri is that the latter has made it known that they would be willing to pay 12 million for the player in 3 years, Shakhtar would pay the whole release clause of 18 million.

Here’s Why Ibarbo Will Not Join Inter…

According to FcInterNews, the rumors surrounding Victor Ibarbo and Inter have cooled down. The Cagliari player has been watched by Inter scouts over the course of the last two seasons, however the Colombian will most probably not wear the shirt of the Nerazzurri due to the high evaluation made by Cagliari, a figure in the region of 12 and 15 million.

It’s done – Stramaccioni era is over, announcement to make Mazzarri as coach next week

The choice has now been made: Stramaccioni to be sacked and Mazzarri in his place. Massimo Moratti only needs to announce this divorce between the club and the coach. As he was back from Rome, Moratti remained in his office until very late for work reasons. What took place today was a telephone contact with Stramaccioni who is not doing very well. Tomorrow, Moratti will hear from Stramaccioni again and is taking time to end this relationship on a good note with the coach. There will be another phone call, perhaps even a meeting. This week, there will be a resolution to end the relationship with the coach and then at the beginning of next week, there could be an announcement of a new coach which will be Mazzarri.

Mauricio Isla and Andrea Ranocchia exchange in the works

On the first page of the Gazzetta dello Sport, we see a speculation suggests that Inter and Juventus could be working on a possible swap. “The chance of an exchange between Inter and Juventus is increasing with Andrea Ranocchia to the Bianconeri and Mauricio Isla to the Nerazzurri,” it reads.

Inler’s agent: ‘Inler to Inter? Next season he must be a protagonist’

“The future of Inler? He is happy in Naples and I am sure he will be a protagonist next season,” says Dino Lamberti, agent of Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler. He spoke to Radio Crc about his client’s situation regarding the transfer market:

“Inler to Mazzarri’s Inter? Gokhan is content at Napoli where he has a three-year contract. We look forward to knowing who will sit on the Azzurri bench because I am convinced that next season, Inler must be a protagonist.”

Lamberti explained the role a new Napoli manager will play in his client’s future saying “then it is clear that if the new coach did not need Inler, then the conversation would change.”

“If any Serie A clubs contacted me? In the period in which Gokhan was injured and not playing, several clubs contacted me,” said Lamberti. “I think it is a normal interest from the club owners, including foreign ones, for my client.”

CdS: Inter and two other Serie A teams want David Pizarro

Corriere dello Sport reports that Fiorentina are looking to sell midfield director David Pizarro.

His agent Alejandro Sebastian has said the following in regards to his client:

“At the moment there is nothing official for David, whose contract expires in June 2014, but he would like to try a new challenge in Europe. He has had a great season and can do one or two more top years. He would like to leave and go on the market.”

Pizarro’s agent has also said in a statement that “there are several clubs watching him closely. First and foremost Napoli, Inter and AC Milan. But there are also the two teams from Madrid.”

The 33 year old ex-Udinese, Inter, Roma, and Manchester City player just missed out on securing Champions League football with Fiorentina this past season as they controversially lost out the third CL spot to Milan in the last Serie A match-day. Where Pizarro will end up may primarily depend on how badly he wants Champions League football next season.

Mazzarri wants to keep Nagatomo but Pereira…

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, in the plans of Walter Mazzarri there is also Yuto Nagatomo and so the Japanese international will stay at the club. However, the paper raises some doubts on the future of one Alvaro Pereira. The Uruguayan has been linked to Tottenham recently but no offer is on the table.

Agent: ‘Fernando wants to leave to a different league. Italy? A welcome destination’

The hunt is on for new reinforcements for next season. Inter are looking for a midfielder, a man that can be a column in that midfield for years to come. Sources from Portugal continue to link Porto midfielder Fernando to Inter as the Brazilian is very likely to leave his club this summer. In an interview with FC Inter News, Antonio Araujo, agent, updates us on what is going on with this client.

Araujo, what is the situation of Fernando?

“Fernando is currently on vacation. He has a year in his contract, until 2014 that is.”

It is said that there is a 30 million release clause in that contract.

“The player has a contract and with Porto, we have great relationship. We all respect each other because Fernando is a major player.”

A straight up question: do Inter want Fernando?

“That is the press talking. We are working on the situation of Fernando and only the press is talking about it.”

Fernando, however, is a player that Marco Branca likes very much.

“You must ask Marco Branca, not me… (smiles).”

Do you see Italy in his future? Does he want to leave?

“Fernando wants to change league. He really appreciates Porto, the club, the city itself, everything and has said that on numerous occasions. But it is normal that the player wants to change scenery and he would love to play in the 2014 World Cup with the Brazilian national team.”

So it is a yes to Italy.

“For sure, he appreciates Italy. Who would not?”

Maybe he has heard from his former teammates like Guarin and Pereira…

“Fernando has played with them before yes and certainly sometimes they speak. But you have to ask Fernando (laughs) because he can only answer these things. But if you can find interviews with his former teammates, all of them have said that Fernando is the best, a great friend of everyone.”

In short, he would welcome a call from Inter.

“What I said is Fernando appreciates Italy just like all the players around the world but also France, England and Germany… he likes these possible destinations.”

Combi to change role? Contact with another doctor

According to Tuttosport, Inter have had contacts with Dr. Daniele Casalini, former doctor for the Primavera Inter team. As for Franco Combi, he could play a less operational and more of an advisor kind of role.

CdS – Mazzarri at Inter would rethink of Medel

According to the Corriere dello Sport, in addition to the name of Felipe Melo as a possible reinforcement in the Inter midfield, Walter Mazzarri would be interested in Sevilla midfielder Gary Medel. The Chilean midfielder was one that the Italian coach wanted at Napoli during his last season before the arrival of Valon Behrami.

La Provence: Inter, Arsenal and Dortmund want Remy Cabella

According to a local French newspaper, La Provence, Rémy Cabella, 23 year-old defender for former French champions Montpellier could be the center of a real auction in the European market as, Arsenal, Inter and Borussia Dortmund are interested in him. All three in recent weeks have sent scouts to monitor the boy.

Biglia’s agent: ‘Inter remain very interested in him’

Interviewed by Lalaziosiamonoi, Enzo Montepaone, agent of Lucas Biglia, confirms that Inter, as well as Lazio and Fiorentina, remain on the trail of the Anderlecht player: “From Lazio, there is real interest but nothing is done. We are in a waiting position since we have to evaluate the offers which are all concrete by Italian and English clubs. Yes, Inter and Fiorentina remain very interested.”

Sky – Alvarez will struggle with Mazzarri, could really leave Inter

As explained by Massimiliano Nebuloni to Sky Sport 24, Ricardo Alvarez will not adapt well with the tactical ideas of Walter Mazzarri and could seriously leave Inter with a good offer. As for Walter Samuel, it’s up to the Italian club to either offer him or not a contract renewal.

Pereira’s agent: ‘He wants to stay at Inter’

“I read a lot of false information and there is much talk of Tottenham but personally I do not know anything”, those were the words of Alvaro Pereira’s agent, Flavio Perchman. According to rumors circulating in the past few weeks, the Uruguayan midfielder could leave Inter after just one season. Contacted by the staff of Tuttomercatoweb.com, the agent talks about his client’s situation: “Talking about the future of Alvaro is premature – explained Perchman – we will see what to do during the summer. Soon I’ll set up a meeting with the boy and perhaps with his club also and we will decide on his future.”

TS – Branca staying. Combi and Rapetti…

New changes to the Inter staff, specifically in the athletic and medical management department. According to Tuttosport, Dr. Franco Combi will remain at Inter but probably with a different role. Marco Branca still holds his place, while the current head of player preparations Stefano Rapetti will return to work on recovering injured players.

Agent: ‘Positive year for Icardi. Inter? Great club’

It was a positive year for Mauro Icardi at Sampdoria. Despite being at just 20 years old (turned 20 in February), the Argentinian managed to score 10 goals, three of which were against the reigning Italian champions Juventus.

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, agent Abian Morano has this to say on his client.

“I am the agent of Mauro and in Italy, I have two collaborators in Pino Letterio and Ulisse Savini. For Mauro, it was a positive year because he demonstrated his improvement during his first year in Italy and the player can still do so much more. He was able to gain a lot of confidence and learned a lot from the tactical point of view. Future? Inter are a great club but he wants to continue improving and learning.”

O Jogo – Fernando remains on Inter radar

Inter continue to look for more players for this upcoming season. According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, Fernando is still pretty much on the radar of the Nerazzurri. The intention of Porto is to renew the player’s contract but Fernando’s desire is to go elsewhere and this was confirmed by his agent.

Sky – Inter will sign Gargano to permanent contract but Mazzarri…

From the Sky studio, Massimiliano Nebuloni discusses the situation of Walter Gargano. The player, according to Nebuloni, did not get on very well with Walter Mazzarri at Napoli “however, Inter will sign the midfielder as agreed and then evaluate with Mazzarri.”

Melo: ‘Juve want to sell me. Cost? 6-7 million’

Felipe Melo recently has spoken to Energia 97 about his uncertain future.

“It would be an honor for me to play for San Paolo and there would not be any problems. However, I believe that it is not very likely. The solution of a loan move would be easier but Juventus want to sell me outright. The price of my card is about 6-7 million euros.”

The player had a very good season with Galatasaray but he still is a Juventus player. Few days ago, we started to hear rumors of a possible move by Inter to sign the Brazilian but his agent confirmed that he will have to sit down to figure out what Juve want to do with Melo.

Mazzola: ‘Inter should bring Livaja home’

Sandro Mazzola spoke to Tuttosport about the situation surrounding Inter’s future in the attacking department:

“Inter needs funding to strengthen the attack,” said the former Inter player. “Diego Milito cannot be counted on this (next) year, so I suggest that they take Marko Livaja home from Atalanta.”

19 year-old Croatian Marko Livaja spent the second half of last season on loan at Atalanta where he scored twice and assisted twice in 11 appearances. He is currently loaned from Inter to Atalanta as part of his co-ownership between the two clubs until January 2014. His co-ownership deal was made as part of the transfer of Ezequiel Schelotto to Inter from Atalanta.

Novara sporting director: ‘Bardi deserves Inter’

Novara sporting director Cristiano Giaretta spoke to SportItalia about Francesco Bardi, who very successfully spent the last season on loan at Novara from Inter:

“Bardi has done very well,” said Giaretta about the 21 year old Italian. “He has grown so much, shown what he is made of. He is starting in the U-21 (national team) where there is so much competition, he is deserving of an important club like Inter.”

CdS: Five names for Inter midfield

Corriere dello Sport cites five possible names for an Inter midfield purchase:

There is Radja Nainggolan, who is loved very much, just like Paulinho. There is also attention on Fernando of Porto, as revealed by his agent yesterday. The other options include Felipe Melo, although “the return to Brazil attracts him more and more” (as quoted by CdS) and Gary Medel of Sevilla, who was very close to Napoli last season.

Fabio Santos: ‘Everyone knows Inter’s greatness…depends on Paulinho’s dreams’

Corinthians player Fabio Santos gave heartfelt advice to his teammate Paulinho on how a European experience, especially at Inter, would push him to the peak of his powers:

“Inter is the club of which you speak for some time, and everyone knows the greatness of that team,” admitted Santos. “It then depends on his will and dreams for Paulinho. But I think he will grow allot in Europe, also in value. Although right now he located in the best team in Brazil.”

Agent: ‘Andreolli to sign for four years, Mazzarri absolutely likes him’

Patrick Bastianelli, agent of Marco Andreolli, spoke to SportItalia on the future of his client:

“He will very likely sign a four-year contract,” said Bastianelli. “Does Mazzarri like him? Absolutely. In the last transfer market Napoli tried to get him.”

“If (Napoli sporting director Riccardo) contacted us it means Mazzarri liked him as well. Now, of course, it is up to him to win a starting spot,” stated the agent of Inter’s prodigal son.

Tuttosport – Here is why Inter is closer to Zuniga than Juve

According to Tuttosport, Inter’s managerial relations could play the pivotal role in securing the services of Juan Camilo Zuniga.

The Colombian is liked particularly by Walter Mazzarri, and because of the good relations between Mazzarri and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, Inter stand in pole position to sign the Napoli winger. Zuniga is also liked very much by Juventus, but the Inter coach-to-be and certain players at Inter will play a major role in bringing Zuniga to Appiano Gentile.

CdS – Two big English sides want Handanovic

With players like Mönchengladbach’s hot shot keeper Marc-André ter Stegen, and Liverpool’s stalwart Pepe Reina close to Barcelona, there is now the possibility for other sides to try their hand at prying Samir Handanovic away from Inter.

Liverpool are looking to return to the top of English and continental football, and are looking to rebuild their side after a few sales. If Liverpool were to sell star striker Luiz Suarez and keeper Pepe Reina, a move for Handanovic could become a real possibility, that however depends on whether or not they could land Arsenal target Asmir Begovic, Stoke City goalkeeper.

Arsenal may move for former Inter, and current QPR keeper Julio César, or, could possibly move for the current Inter goal tender. Arsenal however are known to choose to keep a tight budget for incoming transfers, and with Begovic the first option, there are reservations to this transfer as well.

One thing is certain, if necessary, the top English sides do have the money power to pull this move off.

We await the transfer season.

TS – Basta definitely possible for Inter, Faraoni situation needs talks

According to Tuttosport, Inter could really mount an assault for Udinese right-back Dusan Basta.

Especially given the positive rapport between Inter’s Branca and Udinese’s Pozzo, this conversation could move towards a deal. Since Basta would fit the specifications of the player Mazzarri wants on the right wing, and Inter and Udinese need to speak about Faraoni’s future, the talks could really get going soon.

CdS: Mazzarri wants anything but losing Handanovic

Corriere dello Sport reports the following regarding the transfer rumors surrounding Samir Handanovic:

“Mazzarri wants anything but to lose Handanovic just as soon as he starts his adventure as manager of Inter.” Keeping Samir Handanovic away from the grasp of Barcelona and the English will be key to finally landing Mazzarri as Inter coach. The 30 million euro valuation on Hando’s head may just be enough to deter most bids.

Paulinho: ‘Not leaving Corinthians’

Paulinho is back to alienate himself from Inter. The Brazilian Corinthians midfielder clarifies to Globoesporte that there have been no official bids for him yet.

“I don’t understand why so many people continue to say that I will leave Corinthians just because we have been eliminated from the Copa Libertadores. I will continue to play for Corinthians, there is still nothing official.”

Confirmed in Portugal: ‘Inter are on Gaitan but not the only one’

According to Tuttosport, Inter are interested in Nicolas Gaitan who is Benfica’s Argentinian midfielder and one that is also followed by Juventus. However, according to the Portuguese newspaper, Diario de Noticias, the two Italian teams would have to put up with competition from Manchester United, City and Tottenham. The track leading to the former Boca Junior player is hard and complicated for the Nerazzurri.

Inter accelerating Zuniga chase with Isla, Basta alternates

The Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting on Inter’s pursuit of Napoli wing-back Juan Zuniga.

The flying Colombian has burst onto the scene ever since he took Andrea Dossena’s spot in the Napoli line-up under Walter Mazzarri. He currently earns 750 thousand euro’s per year, but has reportedly asked for a 25% pay raise.

Juventus are also on the tail of the 27 year-old Colombian but he may be tempted to join his ex-mentor Mazzarri at Inter. Napoli boss Aurelio De Laurentiis would likely ask Moratti for about 10 million euro’s for the player. The alternatives are Udinese’s Dusan Basta and Juventus’ Mauricio Isla.

Figo sets his sights on a Brazilian baby-prodigy

A remarkable talent from Brazil seems to have attracted the attention of Luis Figo. The former Portuguese is impressed by the quality of Kevin Malthus, a 10 year-old boy who is emerging as one of the best players in the project Dream Football. Here is what the former Ballon D’or winner has to say about the kid: “Kevin is noted for his excellent touch of the ball. Moreover, he is very good in one on one and has great finishing skills. Even his ball control is absolutely remarkable” .

Is Inter’s Ambassador (Figo) thinking of adding this player to the Italian club’s academy?

TMW: Inter make first approach for Atalanta’s Bonaventura

Giacomo Bonaventura, Atalanta #10, is the newest name on Inter’s wanted list.

TuttoMercatoWeb reports that Inter have made primary contacts to Atalanta after finding difficulty in signing Alejandro Gomez. 23 year-old Bonaventura has had growing interest, including from Juventus recently, but Inter are looking to sign him for around 10 million euros.

GdS: Mazzarri’s first objective is Isla

According to Gazzetta dello Sport Mauricio Isla is Walter Mazzarri’s earliest request in the market after getting the Inter job.

The Chilean winger is expected to leave Juventus this summer and he fits the plans of Mazzarri’s wanted system. Now that Stramaccioni has been relieved, Mazzarri can get to work on his transfer plans with “Isla as the first objective” according to GdS.

Before his move to Juventus was finalized last season, Inter were very much linked to Isla but the club from Turin had quicker movement and their offer beat Inter to him.

GdS – Icardi ready to blossom under Mazzarri

From the pages of the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Milan paper reports the official announcement that Walter Mazzarri is now the Inter coach. The former Napoli coach has been able to improve many of his former strikers from Cavani, Amoruso, Pazzini, Lucarelli and Bianchi. Now, even Mauro Icardi is ready to continue to learn and to improve under the guidance of Mazzarri.

Paventi: ‘Mazzarri needs at least two midfielders at Inter’

From the studios of Sky Sport, Andrea Paventi looks back at the sacking of Andrea Stramaccioni.

“The fans were against it because to them, the problems are somewhere else. Mazzarri is a very good coach and will smoke a lot of cigarettes with Moratti. I think that he will need at least two midfielders.”

Sanchez: ‘I want Barca stay’

Alexis Sanchez, Chilean striker of Barcelona and former player at Udinese, has taken himself off the transfer market by saying he wants to stay at Barca again next season. Here are his statements which shut down any possibility of a transfer to Inter.

“The club has told me that they want to continue with me and so now I am a bit more calm. Everyone has asked me to stay and I am happy to be here for another season. Other clubs are interested in me but I am happy to be here and to earn my place which is the most important. My intention is to stay and to do my best.”

Agent: ‘Three, four teams want Alejandro Gomez’

Agent of Alejandro Gomez, Leo Rodriguez, talks about the future of his client to Spanish newspaper AS.

“Atletico Madrid like him? Simeone knows him perfectly for having coached him at San Lorenzo and Catania and he has seen a tremendous growth to become one of the best strikers in Italian football. There are three-four interested clubs and out of respect, I will not name them. The president of Catania Antonino Pulvirenti is working directly for everything.”

Fernando: ‘I want to leave Porto. PSG? Great club’

Fernando, Porto midfielder and one is linked to Inter recently, discusses his future and reiterates the desire to leave Portugal.

“I still have one more year in the contract and I do not know what will happen. As I said, I would like to play in a more competitive league. Porto are a great club, playing in the Champions League every year but I do not have playing time to be in Brazil (World Cup 2014). If there was a good offer for me and for the club, I would not be against a departure. But if I continue playing for Porto then I would continue fighting to win like I have always done.

“PSG? They are a great club, one of the biggest in Europe and any player would love to play for them. I would be happy to land in Paris because there are many Brazilians there.”

Catania vice president: ‘Alejandro Gomez could stay with us’

Paolo Cosentino, former FIFA agent and starting today is the new vice president of Catania, talks about Alejandro Gomez who is wanted by Inter and also Atletico Madrid.

“We cannot rule out the possibility of him staying here because he is very valuable for us. Talking about the transfer market now is difficult because our choice of the next coach is still yet to be completed. For Gomez, at the moment, we are considering a concrete offer and so we will see.”

Ranocchia not going to Juventus but there’s Manchester United

The future of Andrea Ranocchia will not be at Juventus. As learned by FC Inter 1908, there is no true in the latest rumors of Andrea Ranocchia going to Juventus of Antonio Conte. The Bianconeri coach has been a long time admirer of the Italian defender but it seems that Ranocchia will not be going to Juventus. However, the interest of Manchester United remains alive.

Possible starting lineup under Mazzarri: Isla, Fernando and Zuniga

Screen-Shot-2013-05-24-at-8.30.46-PM.png

Get ready for wholesale changes at the club this summer. The arrival of Walter Mazzarri will have a big impact on what type of player Inter will go after in the next three months of the summer transfer window. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the three main targets at this moment are Isla, Fernando and Zuniga. Wing plays are very important to Mazzarri and thus, the former coach of Napoli has made a request to sign his former player Zuniga and also Isla from Juventus.

Sky – Inter favorite to land Dusan Basta

Dusan Basta and many transfer scenarios. Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky speaks about this very topic.

“The Udinese winger is really liked at Inter which is the favorite to sign him for their ring wing at the moment. But Napoli continue to follow and are interested. So this is the first crossroads between Walter Mazzarri and his former club in Napoli. All parties are ready to start negotiate for Dusan Basta.”

Sky – Decisive moment for new investors at Inter. With fresh money…

Massimiliano Nebuloni of Sky comments on the situation which Inter could see new investors at the club.

“These are real decisive hours for the future of Inter in terms of new partners. Indonesian investor Erick Thohir wants 51% of the club and of course Moratti does not want to lose control of it unlike the deal done with Rosneft in Saras, this is where his heart at. The next few hours will be decisive because with new partners, Inter could have new scenarios on the transfer market with fresh money.”

Mazzarri to keep Cassano? But Gaston Ramirez…

According to Tuttosport, we will need to wait to understand the future of Antonio Cassano with Mazzarri. The Tuscan coach needs a player that could play as a second striker and a trequartista. Last summer, Napoli were interested in Gaston Ramirez of Bologna but then the Uruguayan midfielder chose to go to Southampton. Could he be the alternative/replacement of Antonio Cassano?

Schelotto will leave Inter. Alvarez? Uncertain…

The future of Ricardo Alvarez is still need to be understood unlike that of Ezequiel Schelotto which seems certain that the former Atalanta player will leave Inter. Walter Mazzarri will look to have a team not succeeding 20-22 players, including the goalkeepers. At Napoli, only 16 players played 10 matches or more.

That just goes to show that last season, Napoli did not experience many injuries and that the coach has a very tight squad rotation.

TS – Samuel to retire from football, Mazzarri will evaluate Silvestre

Changes are coming even in the defensive department at Inter. According to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, Walter Samuel should stop playing football despite interest coming from the MLS while Mazzarri will evaluate the situation of Matias Silvestre. The newspaper also points out that the coach has always followed with great interest Adil Rami of Valencia.

CdS – Benassi for Nainggolan possible

According to the Corriere dello Sport, talks are ready to open for Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan who is also liked very much by Andrea Stramaccioni, the now former coach of Inter. Negotiation will be complicated because Cellino has slapped a very high price tag on his player. The latest name that has entered in the talks between these two clubs is Benassi who found some playing time with Stramaccioni. Perhaps the young Italian midfielder could be included in the deal to lure Nainggolan to Inter.

Sky – Here are three reasons why Inter chose Mazzarri

From Sky Sport 24 studios, Massimiliano Nebuloni explains the three reasons of Inter have chosen Walter Mazzarri as coach.

“The first is Mazzarri has been chosen for a great resume, his results are excellent. Secondly, Mazzarri does not want an internal revolution as proposed by Stramaccioni. Lastly, he is a great motivator of the players who seem finished like Goran Pandev at Napoli.”

Transfer strategy to change with Mazzarri

A change in strategy is coming? As you might have heard, Inter, before the appointment of Walter Mazzarri, had planed the summer with Andrea Stramaccioni as its coach. Now that Strama was fired yesterday, things could really change.

“There will be a meeting between Mazzarri and management to understand what to do,” said Massimiliano Nebuloni of Sky.

Mauricio Isla is for sale but there’s problem

Mauricio Isla is on the list of Marco Branca. To ensure this was the Gazzetta dello Sport which describes a plausible scenario for the arrival of the Chilean in Milan a year later (Inter were interested last season but he went to Juventus instead).

“It is no secret that the 24 year-old is on the transfer list of Antonio Conte. Not only that, the player and his representatives have done the steps to get a better understanding of what could be his destination for the future and with Inter, the feeling is always there since last summer,” explain the paper.

The problem? His cost. Juventus will have to spend 9.5 million to get all his card (Isla is co-owned) and GdS also brings up a possible exchange with Andrea Ranocchia. We will see as this story continues to develop…

Sky – Here is Mazzarri’s 3-4-1-2 with signings and confirmations

Inter has chosen to move ahead with Walter Mazzarri. Next week the coach will arrive in Milan, where he will meet Ausilio and Branca and with them design plans for the market and the upcoming season. In the upcoming days, there should also hold the official presentation of the new Inter coach. Dates, names, programs, all will come from the hands of the Tuscan coach. Meanwhile, Sky predicts the possible formation as it could be with purchases and confirmations:

Handanovic, Campagnaro, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus; ZUNIGA, NAINGGOLAN, Kovacic, Nagatomo; Guarin; Icardi, Palacio.

Mbaye’s agent: ‘Palermo move is possible’

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, the agent of Inter youngster Ibrahim Mbaye spoke about the possibility of his client moving to Palermo.

“A move to Palermo? Yes, it can be an opportunity (for Mbaye)” said Beppe Accardi, Mbaye’s agent. A loan move to the Sicilian side could give the 18 year-old Senegalese player invaluable experience which he would not have the opportunity to find at Inter.”

Mazzarri working on the defense: Diakité on a free?

With a new coach, come new names for the transfer market. With that said, Mazzarri has certain preferences in the market and Mobido Diakité is one of them.

The 26 year-old Senegalese defender will be available for free as his contract is up June 30 of this year. The race to sign him has gained pace with several foreign sides, especially English, and further more Italian teams chasing the Lazio defender.

Inter has followed Diakité for some time and with Walter Samuel very likely to either leave the team or retire this summer, more defensive options are needed. Silvestre is very likely to be bought from Palermo as part of the agreement from the loan deal which brought him to Inter. But the lackluster Argentine defender will very likely be sold off after the gentleman’s agreement is carried out with Palermo.

Were Mazzarri to stay with Napoli next season, a deal to sign Diakité was in the works as a replacement for the very Hugo Campagnaro that Inter has signed for free this season. Now that Mazzarri is at Inter, the players he likes have not changed necessarily, and beating Fiorentina and Napoli to his signature is one of his primary intentions.

As he is available for free, strong, experienced in the league, and relatively young, Diakité could be a very positive acquisition for an Inter side desperate for defensive help. A four-year one-million euro per year net contract could be expected for chasing teams. FIFA agent Abian Morano, who worked on the deal to bring Mauro Icardi to Inter, may be contacted soon to finish a deal for the Biancocelesti defender.

Icardi to Inter will go ahead. The figures…

The marriage between Icardi and Inter seems to be just around the corner. The promise made by Garrone to Moratti will go ahead according to sources gathered by FC Inter 1908. Sources suggest that the deal for the Samp striker has recently been put on stand by because of the coaching situation at Inter but things should go ahead as planned.

FC Inter 1908 also reports that the agreement is 12 million euros and there will not be any player (other than Icardi obviously) involved in this deal. For the player, a five year deal is ready at approximately 1 million euros per season.

Sky – Do not rule out Branca leaving Inter

Straight from Sky Sport 24, Massimiliano Nebuloni did not rule out a possible farewell of Inter technical director Marco Branca.

“Those who have done transfer market at Inter over the last few seasons with very negative results also have their fault and not just the coach who has ultimately paid the price. In particular, last January transfer window was very bad like the signing of Schelotto with Livaja involved even if Inter were able to land Kovacic.”

Nebuloni: ‘Melo is not a good fit at Inter’

From the studios of Sky Sport, Massimiliano Nebuloni comments on the possibility of Felipe Melo going to Inter for next season.

“I do not think that the Brazilian’s characteristics can be integrated to match the ideas of Mazzarri but the situation will be clearer next week when there will be a meeting with Juventus management to understand better what to do on the transfer market.”

Inter ready to entrust Icardi to Mazzarri

He is known for developing forwards throughout his career with two notable names in Cavani and Pazzini, Walter Mazzarri is ready to do the same at Inter. “A master at developing forwards” is the headline that can be found on the front page of Tuttosport which also explains that “Mazzarri to rebuild Inter which entrust him with Mauro Icardi.”

The Argentinian forward will be a very important piece at Inter for many years to come.

Juventus want Ranocchia, will try to include Isla or Melo in negotiations

From the pages of the Corriere dello Sport, we have confirmation of the rumor that Juventus are following Andrea Ranocchia very closely. According to the Rome based newspaper, the Bianconeri will try to convince Inter by including players (or technical counterparts) that could be useful to the new Inter coach Walter Mazzarri. The main names here are the usual: Felipe Melo and Mauricio Isla.

Isla: ‘Future? Juventus and Udinese will decide’

These are important days for Mauricio Isla whose future is very uncertain after a disappointing season with Juventus. In an interview with CNN Chile, the player briefly states his doubts regarding a black and blue future with Inter.

“My future? I do not know. I am co-owned by Udinese and Juventus and have already told both clubs to make the best possible solution for my future,” said Mauricio.

AS: Inter among many following Isco

Spanish newspaper AS reveals an interesting piece of information about the suitors of Malaga’s Isco.

The paper revealed that Inter are following the highly-sought-after 21 year-old Spanish star. Although, with his 35 million euro release clause and clubs such as Real Madrid and Manchester City following him, who are, unlike Inter, willing to spend massive amounts, this particular move seems a bit out of Inter’s current range of motion. That is, unless, Moratti does in fact sell a certain percentage of the club and decides to spend on a star signing.

With names such as Luca Modric and Angel Di Maria having been circulated in the past few weeks…it is possible, however not too plausible, that Moratti does try to make a marquee signing for improving the club brand going forward.

Inter to use Faraoni to get Dusan Basta?

Turin newspaper Tuttosport announces that Dusan Basta, Udinese winger, is on the wish list of Walter Mazzarri for the right wing position. The paper speculates a co-ownership deal with Inter perhaps using the card of Marco Davide Faraoni, already co-owned by Inter and the Bianconeri.

Mazzarri to meet Branca and Ausilio Monday

Tomorrow, Monday, is the day when Walter Mazzarri will meet with Inter management. An official meeting after becoming the new Inter coach after a few days of negotiating and signing contract. According to Tuttosport, Mazzarri will meet with Branca (technical director) and Ausilio (sporting director) to make plans on what Inter should go regarding the transfer window this summer.

Antonio Cassano set to stay at Inter with Walter Mazzarri

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Cassano could now stay at Inter. Regardless of the contract situation as his will expired in 2014, the chance of the Bari-born player to stay at Inter is not super high but at least it is not at zero. Surely more than when Andrea Stramaccioni was the coach of Inter. We will understand more of this situation as Cassano is set to make contact with Mazzarri for the first time as coach and player after five seasons. In 2009 when Cassano left Sampdoria, he has never failed to express positive opinion towards Walter Mazzarri.

Alvaro Pereira going to Monaco?

Falcao, Moutinho, Rodriguez but that is not all. Monaco are also thinking of Inter left back Alvaro Pereira.

“His agents have started discussing with the French club – writes Gianluca Di Marzio on his site – and for the Nerazzurri, the player is transferable even though Mazzarri must provide some judgement on the player. A the moment, Monaco remain a hypothesis although there have not been concrete contacts. The French club will continue to evaluate the possible service of Alvaro Pereira as the club continues to think big…”

Inter want to keep Ranocchia, Mazzarri says no to Isla exchange

According to Tuttosport, Inter are very clear at this moment on the speculation surrounding Mauricio Isla. The Chilean winger is co-owned by Juventus and Udinese and is liked very much by Mazzarri. The former coach of Napoli has his name on the wish list but he does not want to sacrifice Andrea Ranocchia for the Juventus player.

Lavezzi: ‘Great relationship with Mazzarri. Inter? There’s nothing’

Interviewed by Sky Sport, Ezequiel Lavezzi talks about his relationship with Walter Mazzarri.

“I have never had a coach that is so great tactically like Mazzarri. I did improve a lot in terms of football level because he always talked to me and told me what I needed to do to improve. So many things that have made me grow so much as a player compared to last year. I am having more consistent performances. We have a good relationship and often heard from each other via text messages.”

On Milan and Inter.

“I have friends there and also like the city but at the moment, there is nothing more. Milan or Inter? Both are great clubs but I cannot talk about a future in Milan because there is nothing as of right now.”

Branca’s position at the club may not be too safe…

We have been hearing more and more that not only coaches are at fault and to blamed for the failures of the last few seasons at Inter, but also those in charge of transfers.

Yes, that means Marco Branca, Inter technical director, could potentially be replaced at Inter. Sporting director Piero Ausilio is not exempt, but he is less directly tied with the market decisions as he is in reporting and negotiating. Since the departure of Gabriele Oriali, former chief transfer market consultant at Inter, Branca has been the go-to transfer dealer and negotiator for the Nerazzurri. Something that must be noted is that, also since Oriali left…some of the transfers have been much less convincing.

Obviously there is less money, but even with the money that is available, certain strategies that are truly unsustainable have been carried out, even in this new ‘revolutionary’ Inter…and the fans have let it be known. We saw some of the most hardcore fans’ complaints with Curva Nord’s 12 banner-questions displayed in the game vs Lazio.

Some of those very questions that could be aimed towards Branca:

“Why does the project to rejuvenate the team entail sales of the young players who are already in the team or from our Primavera?” We constantly hear of the long-term approach Moratti & co. have “clear ideas” about…but in reality, we are seeing 35 year old signings while selling or simply letting go of Inter youth, that go on to play greatly for other clubs.

“Why was the real reason that Oriali had to leave the leadership never explained?” Could Branca want to consolidate power to himself, clearing out the court of lords and making himself more influencial in the ear of club-king Moratti? Oriali was all but thrown out of Inter, with any mention of his name being almost shunned by club hierarchy, all while he was accomplishing positive results with his moves.

Many of the moves that have proved fruitful at Inter in the last few seasons have been made by men loosely related to the club, or just with Moratti’s own foot on the pedal. While many of the less sustainable, or downright confusing moves have been attributed to Branca’s negotiations. While he has played a role in some of the moves for promising youngsters and securing members of the treble-winning side…it must be asked whether he was just filling out paper work, or really the master-mind behind the deals.

In the last few years names like Oriali and Giuseppe Bozzo have had their names on some of the club’s greatest transfers, but at the moment Oriali has left the club, and Bozzo does not even work for Inter. The club are said to be looking for an Oriali-replacement, as since his departure, the position of ‘transfer market consultant’ has remained vacant. Who know, perhaps Branca is not at fault for as much as the fans and media blame him of…but perhaps he is. One thing is certain, the fans cannot watch the management twiddle their thumbs as their Beneamata sink further and further in the league standings. Some action must be seen.

The reaction in the comment section for this piece should be interesting to say the least.

Orsi: ‘I would never sell Handanovic’

Talking to Calcio News 24, former assistant coach of Inter Fernando Orsi talked about the possibility of Inter selling Samir Handanovic in this upcoming transfer window.

“Would I sell Handanovic? I would never sell someone like him because then you would have to look for a replacement and I do not see many good goalkeepers like Handanovic,” said Orsi.

Ausilio was at Wembley yesterday

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was at Wembley Stadium to watch the Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. It was an opportunity to keep good relationship with directors of other clubs.

In the meantime, Marco Branca is set to meet with new Inter coach Walter Mazzarri to talk transfer related issues.

Inter and Juventus continue following Zuniga

Inter and Juventus will continue to fight for the service of Juan Camilo Zuniga. With the arrival of Walter Mazzarri, the former Napoli coach has identified Zuniga as one of his top transfer targets for next season. According to Tuttosport, both clubs are following the Colombian winger very closely and we should hear more concrete news in the next few days.

Cassano and Mazzarri to decide to part ways?

Despite the good relationship between Antonio Cassano and Walter Mazzarri, saying goodbye to the black and blue colors still seems very likely for the Bari born player. As explained by Massimiliano Nebuloni from Sky Sport studios, “the two will probably meet although despite having the same agent, both perhaps would decide to not continue together.”

Sky – Mazzarri will decide Ranocchia’s future

From the studios of Sky Sport, Massimiliano Nebuloni analyses the speculation of a possible exchange between Inter and Juventus with Andrea Ranocchia and Mauricio Isla.

“Surely Inter really like the Chilean but Ranocchia has a high price tag linked to him. The Italian is not untransferable but it will probably be Mazzarri to decide everything,” said the Sky reporter.

Important week for Catania winger Alejandro Gomez

This week could be a very decisive one for the future of Catania winger Alejandro Gomez. The jewel of Antonino Pulvirenti, president, is being followed by Inter and as reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, starting tomorrow, Catania management will start working on this situation. But watch out for a very strong competition from Spain and specifically Atletico Madrid.

Laudisa: ‘Mazzarri will give everyone a chance’

From the studios of Novastadio, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa comments on the new coach of Inter Walter Mazzarri. ”Mazzarri will give a chance to all the players in the squad. Those that do not responde well, would certainly see nothing but uncertain future,” said Laudisa.

New name for Inter attack

There is a new name for the Inter attack: Ishak Belfodil, the young talent of Parma. According to La Gazzetta di Parma, the new coach of Inter, Walter Mazzari asked for the player during his time at Napoli. The young striker is really liked by the coach and it seems that Mazzarri has included him on the list of possible reinforcement for next season. There is already talk of counterparts like Samuele Longo or Marko Livaja. This rumor is yet to be confirmed.

Juventus want Andrea Ranocchia and Angelo Ogbonna

Juventus are serious on Andrea Ranocchia. This was revealed by the Corriere dello Sport which explains that Juventus management is seriously focusing on the Inter defender for next season. Not only that, the Bianconeri are also in talks to sign Angelo Ogbonna from Torino.

Meeting Branca-Mazzarri to talk transfer targets

The first transfer meeting has already taken place between Walter Mazzarri and management. The coach met with technical director Marco Branca in San Vincenzo, Mazzarri’s hometown. Both talked about many names as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio as management continues to look for reliable and affordable signings to strengthen the squad next season.

Sky – Stankovic to terminate contract. Chivu, Cambiasso and Milito…

The future of older Inter players hangs in the balance. Inter are carrying out the plan to continue reducing wages as well as the overall number of players that the club has. The first victim could very well be Dejan Stankovic. The Serbian midfielder could terminate his contract which ties him to Inter until 2014 to try his luck elsewhere (perhaps in the United States). The situation of Chivu is different who should remain at the club just like Cambiasso and Diego Milito. The two Argentinian have one more year in contract and should not go anywhere this season.

Diego Milito could leave Inter as soon as summer

Tuttosport suggests that Diego Milito could leave Inter as soon as this summer. “In the attack there are many scenarios that are being worked on and Milito’s wage is not in the parameters of Inter and perhaps the club could think about selling Il Principe,” reported by newspaper.

The indication so far up to this point is nothing like this. Diego Milito is set to stay at Inter for one more season at least.

Pereira in balance while Nagatomo is safe

Two players, two fates. Alvaro Pereira is on the way out of this club after just a few months playing for the Nerazzurri. The player’s performances have been below par for the most part and his future here is very unlikely to the point that agent is offering Pereira to Monaco. But in the meantime, Yuto Nagatomo can sleep soundly because the Japanese is set to stay at the club.

Without Europe, Inter set to reduce squad size

Get ready for one match per week. Without Europe, Inter will have less games to play next season. And as a result, Massimo Moratti will focus more on quality of the players rather than the overall number of players available According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the perfect range for Walter Mazzarri to work with is 17-18 players for next season.

Napoli want 10 million for Zuniga, Juve favorite over Inter

According to Turin newspaper Tuttosport, Juventus have surpassed Inter in the race for Napoli winger Juan Camilo Zuniga. The Napoli winger is valued at 10 million euros and this is considered too much by Inter. The Nerazzurri also believe that Zuniga is not the priority because there is also Dusan Basta on the list. Walter Mazzarri, however, would love to have his former player here at the new club but it will be very difficult.

Revolution Inter – Who leaves, who stays… Here’s the latest

Screen-Shot-2013-05-26-at-9.18.45-PM.png

New coach. New start. Many changes.

The arrival of Walter Mazzarri will probably give this team a complete makeover. The Gazzetta dello Sport has provided percentages to indicate the future of all current Inter players. According to the paper, there are 10 players that will surely stay at the club in Juan, Nagatomo, Zanetti, Cambiasso, Gargano, Kovacic, Mudingayi, Longo, Milito and Palacio.

The ones that are most likely to leave the club are Rocchi at just 10% of staying, Stankovic, Samuel, Silvestre all three at 30% while at 40% are Alvarez and Kuzmanovic.

Milito still in plans of Inter, will stay

From the studios of Sky Sport 24, Massimiliano Nebuloni ensures that Diego Milito will stay at Inter for next season.

“Il Principle is still in the plans of Inter and is recovering but surely for next season, he will continue wearing the shirt of Inter,” said the journalist which covered Inter last season.

Branca: ‘I always accept criticism. Transfer? Need patience’

Marco Branca, surprisingly, talked to the reporters outside of Inter headquarters. When asked what names that came out of the meeting between him and Mazzarri, the Inter technical director said that “I believe it is still too soon so a bit more patience. Zuniga? No, we are only at the preliminary round of the transfer season. Need a little patience.”

Then FC Inter News asked Branca if he is bothered by the much criticism from the fans and also in the press. ”No, I always accept criticism,” Branca said. “The goal? It is fundamental to be competitive.”

Gino Peruzzi: ‘No offer for me’

For weeks now we have talked about Gino Peruzzi as a likely candidate to replace Javier Zanetti at Inter but the player himself has revealed that there is no offer to him and to his club Velez Sarsfield.

“I am a player of Velez Sarsfield and I only think about the next match. Neither me nor the club has received any kind of offer so for this reason, I only think of continuing here.”

FIFA agent Castagna: “Kovacic-Paulinho pair would be breathtaking”

While being interviewed by FantaGazzetta, FIFA agent and South American football expert Stefano Castagna commented positively about an Inter including Paulinho.

“If Inter want, we can do it,” said Castagna. “The new coach has brought a wave of enthusiasm. In midfield they need quality. With Kovacic, (Paulinho) would form a well-matched couple. The problem is that Brazilian clubs no long have a great need to sell.”

Paulinho has recently stated that he has no intention of leaving Corinthians, even though they are no longer in the Copa Libertadores, having been knocked out by Boca Juniors. He has been linked with a move to Inter for the last two years now, he himself fluctuating between saying he has no intention of leaving Corinthians or Brazil, and all but begging for a transfer to Inter.

“It will be no simple task,” conceded the FIFA agent. Paulinho has been named alongside the likes of Radja Nainggolan, Felipe Melo, Fernando of Porto and Gary Medel of Sevilla in the last few weeks as one of Inter’s summer transfer target options for the midfield.

GdS – Silvestre to leave. And Pereira with 12 million…

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have clear ideas on defense: Matias Silvestre will most likely leave Inter and as for Pereira, “12 million would be a done-deal for a player who was acquired for 11 million.”

TS – Bonaventura is liked by Branca. Now for Mazzarri…

Giacomo Bonaventura is being linked with both Juventus and Inter. According to Tuttosport, the Atalanta player is liked by Antonio Conte as well as Branca and Ausilio. “Walter Mazzarri is looking around. While Atalanta would like to keep Bonaventura,” reported by the Turin based newspaper.

AS – There’s Inter on Isco but Real Madrid…

According to reports yesterday from AS, one of the leading Spanish newspapers, Inter are on Malaga midfielder, Isco, who is also being followed by Real Madrid and Manchester City. Also, Isco this morning talked about his expected transfer this summer: “I can not thank the Malaga fans enough for what they have given me.”

Then he responded to rumors linking him with a move to Real Madrid: “For me it is an honor, Real are one of the best clubs, if not the best, in the world. But my priority is to play on a regular basis. Where I will be heading this summer is a very important decision, and I don’t want to make mistakes. There will be a time and place to talk about the future, for now I will remain quiet,” his words from Laz Rozas, where he is traning with the Under-21 Spanish national team.

Sky – Inter taking a shot at Nainggolan

Matteo Barzaghi spoke to Sky Sport 24 about Inter’s moves in the transfer market. On the table today was the name of Radja Nainggolan, Cagliari midfielder.

He is available for a price in the range of 12-13 million euros. His characteristics match those that have been requested by Mazzarri, and with a wealth of Serie A experience (108 official appearances for Cagliari) at 25 years of age, the Belgian international could help the team for some time to come.

Sky – Ranocchia costs too much, Juve must include player(s)

Sky Sport journalist and one that covered Juventus last season Giovanni Guardala has this to say regarding the heavy rumors that link Andrea Ranocchia to the Bianconeri.

“He is a player that Conte likes very much because the coach has known him since his Bari days. The cost is high, however, and I do not think this is a possible operation without other players involved.”

Inter want a quality midfielder for Mazzarri. The name…

Looking for a quality midfielder seems to be the club’s top priority at the moment because Walter Mazzarri’s 3-5-2 would require midfielders that work well with his schemes. The first choice of Marco Branca is Fernando.

As revealed by Tutto Mercato Web, the Porto midfielder is valued to be 10-11 million euros and Inter are in the front line. Within the first 20 days of June, there could be a meeting between all parties. In fact, the plenipotentiary of Porto, Alejandro Da Costa, will soon be in Italy. The Nerazzurri are ready to strike with Fernando in their sight.

Future of Guarin in doubt

Only black and blue future for Samuele Longo and Diego Milito. The Repubblica is certain that both will remain here at least for next season together with Zanetti, Cambiasso, Palacio and Kovacic. All other players remain in doubt including Fredy Guarin.

Inter in pole for Bonaventura. Cost? At least 10 million

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Atalanta are waiting for the right offer to enter into negotiations for Giacomo Bonaventura and there is no shortage of interested clubs.

In pole is Inter seeing how Bonaventura would love to play for Mazzarri as the coach was one that brought him to Napoli. Competition is strong for the midfielder because Juventus and Fiorentina are also interested. The price? Talks will begin at 10 million euros.

Montoya: ‘I want to continue winning with Barcelona’

From the training ground of the U-21 Spanish national team, Barcelona full back Martin Montoya takes a few minutes to respond to the rumors that suggest him leaving the current club.

“I have one year of the contract and it does not depend on me. All I know is that my goal is to triumph in Barcelona by playing 30 or more matches and continue to win many trophies,” said the defender.

CdS: Rami and Dragovic for Mazzarri’s defense

Corriere dello Sport has brought two new names to the discussion for the Inter defense:

The paper claims two players wanted for the center defense by Walter Mazzarri are Adil Rami of Valencia and Aleksandar Dragovic of FC Basel. 27 year-old Rami plays for the French national team and 22 year-old Dragovic plays for Austria, both having played regularly in their national sides in the last three years.

Sky: Jonathan may stay at Inter after all

Jonathan, what an enigma. He has had terrible games, and he has had some fairly great games as well, at least by last season’s standards of course.

There has been much doubt about his future but now perhaps thanks to a few positive performances in the second half of the season…and the past requests of Walter Mazzarri, he may just stay at Inter next season.

“He wanted Jonathan while he was at Napoli, but then came Mesto,” says Massimiliano Nebuloni to Sky Sports.

“The coach is good at reviving players who look finished,” commented Nebuloni, “and players can be better managed having to play only one game a week.”

Having proven to himself and all the critics, that he can, in fact, play well, Jonathan may just be able to give himself enough chances to revitalize the once promising career he looked to have after arriving in Italy from Santos. Hey, we all know Mazzarri loves his wing backs.

Corriere della Sera: Inter target Hernanes

Walter Mazzari wants Lazio playmaker Hernanes at Inter.

This comes from the pages of Corriere della Sera. The paper claims that the 27 year-old Brazilian is at the top of Mazzarri’s wish-list to renew and reconstruct his new team.

Coppa Italia champions Lazio would try to command a fee over 20 million euros, a potential piece of the puzzle cash-strapped Inter may struggle to find. A star playmaker is something Inter would love to find since the departure of Wesley Sneijder in January, however, that would necessitate extra funding from Massimo Moratti. If Moratti can find investors for the club, this kind of transfer would be plausible, but only then.

For his part, Hernanes has asked to hold from talking about his future until the start of the transfer window. In three seasons and 132 official appearances for the Biancocelesti, the Brazilian has scored 38 goals and made 20 assists.

Repubblica – Players that will certainly stay are…

According to Repubblica, there are only a few players at Inter currently that are untouchable for Inter’s plans next season.

The players that the paper claims will certainly stay are; the young Samuele Longo and Mateo Kovacic; the tried and true forwards Rodrigo Palacio and Diego Milito; and lastly the veteran flag-bearers Esteban Cambiasso and Javier Zanetti.

All other players have been deemed in some level of doubt as to where they will play their football next season.

Barcelona continue looking for new goalkeepers

Barcelona, for some time, have been looking for a goalkeeper to replace Victor Valdes. A few weeks ago, there was talk of Inter player Samir Handanovic but rumors coming from Spain in the last few days suggest possible alternatives. The Spanish champions might think of Federico Marchetti who is also liked at Manchester United. Other names are Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Pepe Reina.

TS – Cirigliano could come to Inter but it depends on Alvarez

According to Tuttosport, Ezequiel Cirigliano of River Plate could come to Inter with a swap deal with Ricardo Alvarez, that is if the latter accepts the Argentinian club’s offer. River Plate have been interested in the Inter Argentinian player for the last two transfer windows of last summer and in January. With the arrival of Walter Mazzarri, Alvarez could perhaps see his time at Inter as the thing of the past.

GdS – Nainggolan closer than Kondogbia

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter continue their search for a midfielder. The name of Kondogbia, Sevilla player and is strongly linked to Real Madrid, is hot but not as much as that of Radja Nainggolan of Cagliari who appears to be a more possible transfer than the Frenchman.

GdS – Zuniga is now closer to Inter

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juan Camilo Zuniga seems closer to following Walter Mazzarri to Inter. The former Napoli coach has, according to reports, explicitly asked for his former player at the Azzurri because the Colombian is very important to the newly appointed Inter coach.

In the meantime, the Nerazzurri continue their search for a central midfielder and a striker.

Inter follows Bartra, Barca now offer him a renewal

Barcelona will try and lock down one of their hot prospects. It is Marc Bartra, the young defender who is followed by Inter and was previously scouted by Piero Ausilio in one of his travels to Spain. According to Rac1, the closest radio to the Blaugrana club, Barcelona have offered Bartra a renewal for 4 years.

TS – Mazzarri has chosen to focus on the midfield

According to Tuttosport, Valon Behrami is on top of Walter Mazzarri’s list for the Inter midfield. The former Lazio, Fiorentina, West Ham player is really liked by coach who already had the Swiss at Napoli. The alternative would be Ezequiel Cirigliano of River Plate.

Three focal points of new Inter: 3-5-2, wing plays and solid midfield

47af76511d7dd4b7cedbeef92b4366dd-73621-d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e.jpg

The Inter of Walter Mazzarri will have three main features and this was reported by Matteo Barzaghi of Sky. The first is the formation: Mazzarri has already confirmed that he will play with the 3-5-2 and will not give up the scheme that made him very successful at Napoli. The second concerns wing plays because the current players in Nagatomo, Pereira, Jonathan and Schelotto are considered inadequate. For this reason, the club will be looking at a few players and the three most discussed names at the moment are Zuniga, Isla and Basta. Lastly, it is the midfield. We are all familiar with Fernando of Porto (contract expires in 2014), Nainggolan (the most preferred player but costs 7-8 million plus a couple of young players) and Behrami, Mazzarri’s player at Napoli.

Portuguese press – Fernando likely to leave Porto… in the direction of Inter

What if it is Fernando, Porto midfielder, the next reinforcements for Inter of Walter Mazzarri? Well, according to the Portuguese press, it is a very serious possibility. After confirming the player’s desire to leave Portugal, the media continues pushing Inter as a very possible destination. According to A Bola and Futebol365, “the departure of Fernando is possible, in the direction of Inter,” just like Guarin and Pereira.

Inter have been interested in the Brazilian for a very long time but now it is a lot easier because of his contract situation (expires in 2014) and as a result, Fernando would be a lot cheaper than previous transfer periods.

TMW – Contract renewal for Samuel, official announcement by Friday

According to Tutto Mercato Web, Walter Samuel is defining the final details to renew his contract with Inter for one more season. The Argentinian defender, previously believed to be ready to retire, has an expiring contract actually this summer and is negotiating to have it renewed until 2014. The white smoke is expected in the next few hours and by Friday, everything will become official.

Mazzarri wants to keep Handanovic and Guarin

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Mazzarri has asked Branca to keep Handanovic and Guarin. However, summer transfer window is long and anything can happen especially to the Colombian midfielder. The temptation to go to England or Spain in order to play in the Champions League is there and it should not be underestimated. Meanwhile Ranocchia’s future remains in doubt with interest from big clubs like Juventus and Manchester United.

Olé – Inter scout to see Gino Peruzzi

Gino Peruzzi recently stated that he does not know anything regarding an offer from Inter and thus, the player is only focusing on playing for Velez Sarsfield. However, the Argentinian newspaper Olé has reported that an Inter scout has flown to South America to see the player play up close and personal. Make no mistake about it, Gino Peruzzi remains a candidate for the right back position.

CdS – Milito struggling to recover, Inter looking around for replacement

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter are in search for a backup situation in case that Diego Milito couldn’t recover in time to start next season. Rodrigo Palacio is going nowhere and of course the new signing of Mauro Icardi, but Il Principle is still struggling with his recovery after the knee injury.

On August 16th, it would be 6 months after the surgery but it is not said that the player would be ready to be thrown into battle right away. In short, perhaps Inter could start hunting for another striker. The names? We have guys like Alberto Gilardino and Fabio Quagliarella, both have Bozzo as their agent (also Mazzarri and Cassano’s agent). Also Marco Borriello who has just returned to Roma after the loan period at Genoa.

Moratti ready to contact De Laurentiis for Behrami and Zuniga

Tuttosport is certain that the voices of Juan Camilo Zuniga and Valon Behrami leaving Napoli are very real. For the two players, Rafa Benitez will decide as he is the new coach of the Azzurri but Moratti is also ready to call De Laurentiis to ask for the former players of Mazzarri. Ultimately, it will be up to Benitez to decide but for Walter Mazzarri there is no doubt: they are his very first choice.

Alvarez represents tactical problem for Mazzarri

According to Tuttosport, Ricardo Alvarez represents a big problem for Walter Mazzarri in the tactical aspect. For this reason, the future of the Argentinian is very far away from Inter. The newspaper brings up two familiar destinations in River Plate and Wolfsburg as both clubs have shown interest in January. With a good enough offer, Inter would sell the Argentinian.

TS – Mauricio Isla or Mirko Vucinic for Andrea Ranocchia

Juventus are ready to attack. The Bianconeri have singled out Andrea Ranocchia as their top transfer target for the defense. According to Tuttosport, the club in Turin is ready to make concrete steps and “Mauricio Isla may be the right key” to resolve this puzzle. Watch out also for Mirko Vucinic who “is liked by Inter and costs 15 million euros.”

Sky – Juventus not close to Ranocchia due to high price tag

Giovanni Guardalà, Sky journalist and one that covers Juventus at the moment, comments on the transfer market of the Bianconeri and particularly in relation to Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia. The journalist expresses doubts on purchasing the Inter defender who is really liked by Antonio Conte ever since his time at Bari working together with Ranocchia.

“Ranocchia is a player that Conte knows very well but the price tag that Inter have slapped on him is very high. We also need to understand the thought process of Mazzarri who will decide whether or not to focus on the Italian. However at this moment, the situation is still unlikely because the favorite right now for Juventus is Ogbonna. Has a value of 10 million and there is already ongoing negotiation with inclusion of other players.”

Atalanta director: “Livaja is staying with us”

Speaking to Radio Sportiva, Pierpaolo Marino, general director of Atalanta, has this to say regarding the situation of Marko Livaja. ”He will stay with us because we have an agreement with Inter. Schelotto? He was thrown in that club in the moment of them having a lot of difficulties,” said Marino.

GdS – Barcelona and the 30 million euros fax for Handanovic…

Good news coming in for Inter regarding their number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Barcelona are solely focusing on Ter Stegen as their next goalkeeper and replacement of Victor Valdes and the famous fax of 30 million never arrived for the Slovenian. Mazzarri is very happy with Handanovic and wants to keep the keeper at all costs.

Sugoni: “Mazzarri wants Isla”

Straight from Calciomercato.it, Alessandro Sugoni, Sky transfer expert, ensures that Mauricio Isla is one of the names that Inter want to sign to reinforce the club.

“Walter Mazzarri has asked for Isla to be part of his new Inter and Juve, in return, would love to change Ranocchia in exchange,” stated by Sugoni.

Inter lead scout to go to… Sunderland

A total revolution at Inter for the upcoming season. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter lead scout Valentino Angeloni is heading to English side Sunderland.

“Sunderland are becoming more and more Italian. Besides the imminent arrival of De Fanti as general director, the English club also wants Valentino Angeloni who arrived from Udinese to Inter last summer. A talent scout of great reliability and experience who would have a technical director role at Sunderland. This is an important position for Angeloni, the current lead scout at Inter and it is likely that he would say yes because he sees this as a step forward with this new role.”

Agent: “Quintero could stay in Italy, does not lack possible suitors”

Talking to Tutto Mercato Web, Riccardo Calleri, agent of Juan Quintero, talks about the future of his client.

“This is a wait and see situation. There is a possibility that he will stay in Italy where there are several teams following him but nothing is concrete yet. The player is liked by Genoa but that is not all. The point is that we are only chit chatting to those interested. Nothing more.”

Sky – Dejan Stankovic to retire?

Dejan Stankovic could hang up his boots now. According to what is written in a report by Sky Sport 24, there is a possibility that the Serbian could have played his last match at Inter and is set to retire, although he still has one year left on his contract.

Sky – Kuzmanovic already at risk of being sold

Directly from Sky Sport, Zdravko Kuzmanovic is not doing a good job of convincing Inter in the last few months since he was taken from Stuttgart in January. For this reason, he is at risk of being sold in the summer since he might not find much space in the Mazzarri’s plans, just like Walter Gargano.

Leonardi: ‘Belfodil? No Discounts, He Would Cost…’

Speaking at a press conference, the CEO of Parma, Pietro Leonardi, sets a fixed price on Ishak Belfodil, the striker who is followed by Inter.

“We have no intention of selling him, for now there are no offers and if we were to sell it would be for more than 10 million.”

Novara director: “We want Bardi on loan again next season”

Interviewed by Tutto Mercato Web, Cristiano Giaretta, sporting director of Novara, reveals an interesting scenario that relates to Inter and especially Francesco Bardi.

“We still want on loan both of him and Crescenzi but we should discuss with the respective clubs because they got here on loan. Starting today, they will go back to their clubs that are Inter and Roma but we will talk with them to see if it is possible to have the players on loan again for next season.”

TS – No Stramaccioni, Cassano will stay at Inter

Antonio Cassano is very strongly convinced to stay at Inter. This is the guarantee of the Turin newspaper Tuttosport and according to which, the Bari born striker is certain to stay and all his action in recent months (like visiting Zanetti in the hospital) were done to be reintegrated in the club and to stay. With the departure of Stramaccioni, Cassano is convinced to find space again under Mazzarri who is the ideal coach to deal with the player.

Sky – Roma and Inter interested in Nainggolan

The hunt for a quality midfielder is on. Not only Inter, Roma are looking at Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Giallorossi want to close for the Belgian midfielder but they must meet with Cagliari while Inter remain on track and in the race for him as well.

Gilardino as possible replacement of Milito?

Inter do not want to take any risk. Diego Milito will remain for at least one more season but no one knows exactly when he will surely recover after a serious knee injury. As a result, Inter are ready to put in its back up plan in full force. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, as a possible replacement for Diego Milito, Inter have approach Alberto Gilardino, Bologna forward.

GdS – Erick Thohir wants 100% of Inter, Moratti continues to say no

As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, after a number of meetings with the emissaries, Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir have finally met in person. This step could open very important scenarios for the future of Inter as the club seeks fresh money to invest in the transfer market. In fact, the 43 year-old from Asia has expressed his desire of buying 100% of the club. The response of Moratti is obviously a no because he is not ready for such decision perhaps his heart is not allowing him to do so.

During this meeting, Thohir guaranteed a prosperous and stable future to the club but Moratti only thinks of an immediate sale of minority shares but with the prospect of going to majority at some point in the future.

Alvarez leaving, possible exchange with Porto for Fernando

Ricardo Alvarez is not in the plans of Inter. As widely reported by the Italian media, the Argentinian represents tactical challenges that do not quite fit in the Mazzarri’s system. For this reason, it is likely that we may have seen the last of Alvarez in the Inter shirt. According to Tuttosport, Inter could use the Argentinian midfielder to get their hands on Porto midfielder Fernando. Alvarez is valued at 10 million, a similar price tag to that of Fernando.

Inter athletic trainer to be sacked

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, after the sacking of Andrea Stramaccioni, the next to leave the club is current athletic trainer Stefano Rapetti and we are missing only the official announcement. Inter have informed the trainer (who still has two years in contract) that he is no longer in the plans of the club. With the arrival from Napoli of Giuseppe Pondrelli, it was thought that Rapetti would have had a different role but apparently not.

Inter asking 30 million for Handanovic, Barca offering…

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the newest speculation from Spain is that Barcelona were very serious on Samir Handanovic. The Nerazzurri are asking for at least 30 million for its goalkeeper but Barca have only offered a bit of cash plus Bartra. No can do is the thought process of Inter management plus Walter Mazzarri is very happy to have the Slovenian as his goalkeeper. However as of this very moment, it seems that Barcelona are leaning towards Ter Stegen as their future goalkeeper.

Inter and new coach Mazzarri want to keep Samuel

Tuttosport reports that both Inter and its new coach in Walter Mazzarri want to keep Walter Samuel for next season. The Argentinian central defender is out of contract (but there is an option to renew) at the end of June. Samuel is evaluating the opportunity to stay at Inter for one more season and also other offers from the United States although word is, they are not a big temptation for the 35 year-old.

Inter set sight on Mariga’s brother: Victor Wanyama

While MacDonald Mariga is again forced to go under the knife for the knee problem, Inter have targeted the brother of the Kenyan midfielder: the name is Victor Wanyama, 1991-born midfielder of Celtic. Wanyama, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, is considered by Inter as an ideal alternative to Valon Behrami due to his physical and technical characteristics: powerful physique but also with great dynamism and he is a midfielder that can also adapt to play as a central defender. Besides, the older brother could also provide positive reference on Inter as a whole. The player is also being looked at by Arsenal and Manchester United.

Walter Mazzarri intrigued by Roma forward Osvaldo

From his editorial piece for Tutto Mercato Web, Gianluca Di Marzio, transfer expert, has confirmed that Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is very much appreciated by Walter Mazzarri.

“Osvaldo? Walter Mazzarri likes him but he could also be a good opportunity for Napoli of Benitez. But on the Argentinian there are other voices like that of Atletico Madrid,” said Di Marzio.

Nebuloni: “Inter need someone like Galliani”

Massimiliano Nebuloni, Sky Sport 24 journalist and is very close to the black and blue club, comments on the comings and goings of coaches at Inter. ”At Inter, a strong figure is needed, like Adriano Galliani. There is no director at the club as Galliani,” said Nebuloni.

Vucinic going to Inter? Nothing true

There is nothing true about the transfer of Mirko Vucinic to Inter as reported by Tuttosport a few days ago.

“For those who have asked and there were many: there are no ongoing negotiations for the transfer of Vucinic to Inter. For the moment, Juve are not thinking about selling the forward. However, they would do it with two conditions: if Higuain (or Tevez) and Jovetic arrive and especially if there is a 20 million plus offer. But for now, everything is stopped and with Inter, there is nothing.”

From Nigeria: Inter have signed Taiwo. Agent: “Is this a joke? Nothing true”

Incredible news from Nigeria: Taye Taiwo has signed a two-year contract last night with Inter and the official announcement would come today. However, this news was quickly denied by the player’s agent Fabio Parisi who has this to say to FC Inter News.

“Is this a joke? There is nothing true and Taye will not play for Inter. I do not understand where this kind of news is coming from.”

Inter stopped following Quintero, here is the reason

After being interested in Quintero all season long, Inter has stopped following the Pescara player. And as reported by FcInterNews, the reason is Mazzarri’s influence on the market and the fact that the former Napoli coach has no plans for Quintero in his Inter team. Also, it is likely that the Colombian will leave Pescara for Genoa or some other prestigious club in Europe, and it is certain that Inter is not behind any of these operations.

Branca confirms: “Yes, we are following Belfodil”

In recent weeks, the name of Ishak Belfodil, Parma striker, was often linked with Inter and the confirmation now comes from Inter technical director Marco Branca who was contacted by ParmaToday : “He’s an interesting player that we are following – he admits – but it is still too early to talk about anything concrete.”

Pres. Velez: “Inter, no calls for Peruzzi”

An interview with Velez Sarsfield president, Miguel Calello took place during the radio program Dale Fortin, and he was asked about his player, Gino Peruzzi, and Inter who are closely following the Argentinian: “There is nothing concrete. No one has ever contacted him from Inter.”

Agent: “Kuzmanovic leaving Inter? I don’t know anything”

Not positive first few months for Zdravko Kuzmanovic in the Inter shirt. The Serbian midfielder has been below par for the most part and he cannot be happy with what he has done ever since he arrived here in January. Voices have started to emerge of a possible farewell already this summer and to talk about this very topic, here is Marko Naletilic, agent, talking to FC Inter News.

“I cannot talk about these things. As long as there is no communication from Inter, for me, there is nothing to talk about. In terms of quantity of matches, Kuzmanovic cannot be unhappy because he was able to make about 13-14 appearances and for someone who came in January and couldn’t play in Europe, that is not bad.”

Sunday Telegraph – Manchester United interested in Ranocchia

Manchester United remain vigilant on Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia. According to Jason Burt of the Sunday Telegraph, the English giant continues to maintain interest in the Italian defender.

“Ranocchia has been linked to United for sometime. He is a young player, only 25 years old, but as a defender, he has not convinced very much and for this reason, I would be very surprised if United were to really focus on him for the future. Moyes is looking for a defender and a midfielder. For next season, it would be better to play Phil Jones instead of Ranocchia.”

Sky – The latest on Gomez, Nainggolan and Zuniga

The future of Inter and the next series of purchases. This issue was discussed on Sky Sport 24 with Matteo Barzaghi who has a few key points regarding the transfer market of Inter.

1. Gomez was requested by Stramaccioni for his 4-3-3. There was an agreement with Catania and now everything is stopped given the coaching change. On Gomez, there is also Atletico Madrid.

2. Nainggolan is the primary objective for the midfielder and Inter will need to work things out with Cellino, president of Cagliari. There are other names like Fernando and Behrami as alternatives.

3. Zuniga is liked every much by Mazzarri but for now, Napoli consider him not for sale. Moratti will try to sign the player for his new coach.

Here are three hottest names for Inter midfield

Having a solid midfield is extremely crucial in the plans of Walter Mazzarri at Inter. And as a result, Inter are actively trying to find the right player(s) to satisfy the new Inter coach. According to a Sky Sport 24 report, the three hottest names at this moment are Radja Nainggolan of Cagliari, Fernando of Porto and especially Valon Behrami of Napoli.

Mazzarri targets Nainggolan who is valued at 15 million

From his website, Alfredo Pedulla talks about the situation of Radja Nainggolan for the midfield of Inter.

“He is a great midfielder and has a value up to 15 million euros. The player just had another good year as he demonstrated to be worthy of a high price tag. We are talking about Radja Nainggolan, a key player of Cagliari and one that is on the transfer market. Mazzarri asked for him at Napoli and there is no doubt that his name is once again on the list of Inter. But first we have to wait for the fate of Allegri who has excellent relationship with both Cagliari and with Radja. The transfer season has yet to take off and there is no hurry.”

Sky – Sanchez and Osvaldo not priority of Inter

Matteo Barzaghi of Sky Sport talks about the names of Alexis Sanchez and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.

“They are not a priority right now because Inter are looking for a winger and a midfielder. Sanchez in the formation of Mazzarri is not ideal while Osvaldo is very expensive.”

Italian newspapers – Inter are back for Ezequiel Lavezzi

A year later and Ezequiel Lavezzi is still a possible transfer target of Inter. According to the Corriere dello Sport which explains that Inter will start an attack on the Argentinian of Paris Saint Germain. The key of this whole thing could be Walter Mazzarri with whom Lavezzi had a very good relationship at Napoli.

Meanwhile another newspaper in Tuttosport reports that the Indonesian investor Erick Thohir wants to bring Il Pocho to the black and blue shirt. The potential investor and Massimo Moratti will continue to talk in the next few days.

Ranocchia to go to America but with what club…

From July 27 to August 7, Inter will participate in the Guinness International Champions Cup, the international tourment with clubs like Chelsea, Everton, Juventus, LA Galaxy, Milan, Real Madrid and Valencia. By this time, we would be able to understand what the future of Andrea Ranocchia might be. The Italian defender will be in America for this tournament but in what shirt colors. Ranocchia has been linked to Juventus over the last week or so as Agnelli wants to strengthen the defense of Juventus.

Rami rejects the Russian and wants a big club

Valencia defender Adil Rami spoke to the microphones of RMC about his future, admitting his preference in the kind of club he wants to play for. Well, more accurately, he admitted what kind of club he does not want to play for.

“There have been contacts with Anzhi,” admitted the Le Bleus regular. “I don’t know the exact details but it is not what I want. I am 27 years-old. Going to play there means to play behind a barrier. I currently want to find a great club.”

Inter has been tracking him, with Walter Mazzarri reportedly an admirer of the defender. Rami has requested a transfer, and Valencia would be willing to take offers as they are in financial trouble. He has a release clause set at 10 million euros but that could always be subject to negotiation.

One thing is certain, he will not be going the way of Samuel Eto’o any time soon…

TS – Thohir wants a super transfer season… Moratti’s answer in 48 hours

According to Tuttosport, the meeting between Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir went very cordially.

An answer from the Inter president to Thohir’s requests to purchase a sizable share, if not, 100% of the club, is expected within the next 48 hours. The Indonesian investor is very committed to making sure Inter has a very successful transfer campaign. The Turin newspaper reports that the 43 year-old Indonesian even contacted outgoing Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes before Walter Mazzarri had been confirmed at Inter; such is his intent.

Positive signs for the club who look forward to the investor’s funding for new players and a new stadium project.

Baresi and Cordoba set to remain at Inter with Mazzarri

According to Tuttosport, Moratti and a few people at Inter paid a very close attention to every corner of the training facilities and also answered a few questions one of which was concerning the future of Baresi and Cordoba. As learned by the newspaper, both will be staying at Inter. Mazzarri’s new collaborator, Santoro, will play the role of consultant-adviser of the coach.

Details of Erick Thohir’s 260-million-euro offer including 100 million for transfer budget

260 million euros for 80% of Inter’s club ownership. With a further 20 million more offered for 100% ownership rights.

According to Marco Bellinazo, football business writer of IlSole24Ore.com, this is the proposal of the Erick Thohir. Moratti is expected to reply in the next 48 hours to this proposal, which includes 100 million euros to be injected instantly to the transfer budget.

Although Moratti has been trying to withhold from selling even 51% of the club, the offer for 80% will intrigue the club chairman into thinking twice. With the 80% offer, Moratti could still be president, but not with total powers. He (or if one of his son’s, if they take his place before then) would likely step aside after a few seasons as well, into a more ceremonial, advisory role.

There are several facets to take into account as well regarding this issue: Moratti may not find another opportunity this appealing in the next few years to come. The economic climate in Europe shows no great signs of turning for the better, and so far, neither do the fortunes of Inter.

Moratti has made it clear that by signing Mazzarri (to a substantially large net-expense wage of 6 million euros per annum), Inter aims for no less than Europe next season. This show of intent is not solely for pride or the bonus cash of European football; this move proves to investors like Thohir that there is potentially money to be made with an investment in Inter.

Inter officials have long talked the talk of a new project and a revolution, but now, they must walk the walk. Any potential investors must have that promise, and investors do not come knocking every other day. Inter would very likely not be Thohir’s last bet at finding a top football club to own either. He owns large portions of the Philadelphia 76′s NBA team, most of the DC United MLS football club, and full owns two basketball teams in Indonesia; he is not new to the art of sports-franchise ownership.

If his initial offer is rejected by Moratti, there is always the backup offer; 20-30% in the first year, with increased ownership sold across several years. This plan is preferred by Moratti, who does not want to all-but-completely sell off his family’s heritage in one fell-swoop. This plan would also assure the Inter management that the club is in the right hands; over the course of several years, they would become better acclimated to their new owner, and vice-versa, without having to worry about a complete change of management or policy direction.

If Thohir were to buy majority share, majority management positions would be placed in his control. This poses a problem for Moratti, who has entrusted family in many top managerial positions. This is another reason why the secondary minority share option is preferred by the Italians. Perhaps a more smooth change in management (with the alternate option) would affect the club less detrimentally than a full, instant clear out.

To help understand the situation, some background information may help:

Moratti is by no means a needy man, but his main source of income, Saras S.p.A. (oil refining), has had falling stock of over 60% since the economic collapse of 2008. Although the last few years have been dim, the last year has seen a turn in fortune, and Moratti’s Saras S.p.A. still records a 5 billion euro turnover. Moratti also draws income from Pirelli, Italia Telecom and several other cash-sources.

His Indonesian counterpart has holdings in a broad assortment of industries, notably in a broadcast media, advertising, and entertainment. The company his father co-owns, Astra International, has a turnover of over 20 billion euros a year. Erick’s brother, Garibaldi, has a net worth of over 1 billion euros. The fact that Erick Thohir is neither his father, nor his brother, is important to remember but even with that said, one can see why it is Thohir offering the money between him and Moratti.

The Indonesian has many different plans including turning Inter into a publicly traded company such as Manchester United, and loaning youth players to DC United, his American MLS team. He also wants certain high-profile signings, just as his personal request of Ezequiel Lavezzi showed.

One thing is certain; Massimo Moratti must make a massive decision in the near future, one that will inevitably shape the short, mid, and long term future of the club.

Mazzarri requested two signings. The names…

Moratti and Mazzarri met yesterday in a meeting took place in Milan and during which, the former coach of Napoli has confirmed transfer priority to the Inter president. The coach from San Vincenzo has asked for a central midfielder and a winger for next season. The names are the usual in Behrami, Nainggolan, and Wanyama (this is Mariga’s brother, currently playing for Celtic) for the midfield and Zuniga, Isla and Basta for the wing positions.

Topics of Thohir-Moratti negotiations: stadium and signing Indonesian player(s)?

According to the Corriere dello Sport, a new stadium is in all negotiations between Erick Thohir and Massimo Moratti. The Indonesian’s representative has not leaked much detail in this regard. However, it should be emphasized that together with Levian, they have already announced plans to build a new stadium, a bit smaller but more functional, for DC United where his fellow countryman Syamsir Alam is currently playing for.

So will there be another countryman in the Inter shirt, perhaps for the youth academy?

Mazzarri impressed by Duncan in Empoli match

According to Sky, the new Inter coach Walter Mazzarri is following with great attention the match yesterday between Livorno and Empoli to assess the performance of Alfred Duncan, young player owned by Inter.

The Ghanian, other than scoring a splendid goal yesterday and impressed greatly the coach of Livorno, reminds Walter Mazzarri the the strength and running ability of Behrami, who is considered to be a candidate to improve the Inter midfield next season.

CdS – Ezequiel Lavezzi wants to play for Walter Mazzarri’s Inter

If negotiations between Erick Thohir and Massimo Moratti is able to find a turning point or an agreement, the ambitions of the Indonesian will be shown immediately on the transfer market. Thohir is ready to make a high profile signing and it seems that his favorite at the moment is Ezequiel Lavezzi.

There is little doubt on what Lavezzi prefers for his future. The Argentinian would love to return to Italy and play for his former Napoli coach at Inter Walter Mazzarri with whom, both continue to maintain contact by exchanging messages.

A Mr. X for Inter midfield?

The very much discussed Mr. X may come back for this summer transfer window. As reported by Matteo Barzaghi of Sky, in addition to the various names of Nainggolan, Behrami and Fernando, there is also a possibility of a Mr. X for the midfielder, a name that is yet to be known. Inter will continue looking to improve the midfield department, one that is very crucial in Walter Mazzarri’s plans.

Parma and Sampdoria want Inter keeper Francesco Bardi

The name of Francesco Bardi is starting to appear more and more on the agenda of many different clubs. The keeper, owned by Inter, is gaining attention even from Parma especially after a super season on loan at Novara. Bardi is also liked at Sampdoria but ultimately, Inter will make a decision on what to do with its player.

Sky – Not only midfielder and winger, Inter want a forward as backup plan for Milito

As reported by Sky Sport, Diego Milito is in a stand-by situation in the plans of Inter. The Argentinian will not recover from his knee injury anytime soon and thus, a reinforcement in the attack could very well arrive in waiting for the return of Il Principe.

Walter Mazzarri has made it known, at least according to the media, that Inter must sign at least one more midfielder and a winger but with Milito struggling to recover, perhaps another forward is now a priority.

Velez vice president: “A percent of Alvarez’s sale goes to us”

The vice president of Velez Sarsfield, Julio Baldomar, discusses his former player Ricardo Alvarez to Tutto Mercato Web. The Argentinian arrived to Inter two years ago but has yet to proven his worth with very inconsistent performances.

“We are talking about a good player and with Inter, we have a very positive relationship. In the event that Nerazzurri were to sell Ricardo, we would be entitled to a percentage of that sale. But he is doing fine in Italy,” said Baldomar.

Alvarez has been constantly linked to a move away from Inter due to the tactical challenges that he represents for Walter Mazzarri.

Barzaghi: “Belfodil, useful solution for Mazzarri. Cassano likely to stay”

Matteo Barzaghi, Sky reporter, discusses the ideas that Inter may have for its attacking department.

“Belfodil is a player that can come in handy with his characteristics. Rolando Bianchi and Gilardino are also ideas. Cassano, meanwhile, is likely to stay and in my opinion, he has a good chance to.”

Possible agreement between Thohir and Moratti for 30% of the club

The latest updates on the new investor saga continue to arrive every hour. Indonesian investor Erick Thohir continues maintaining contact with his delegates in Milan. Despite the fact that Massimo Moratti is currently in London, the president is negotiating through his men for the sale of the shares in the company. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa, a turning point, perhaps for an agreement, is in coming. The agreement is only 30% of the club because Moratti has no intention in losing control of Inter. This is the decisive hours for the future of the Nerazzurri.

Sky – Offers coming in for Kovacic

He hasn’t been at Inter for six months and yet Mateo Kovacic has won every single person over. Not only the fans but also many directors of important clubs around the world. The Croatian is undoubtedly the only positive aspect that Inter fans can talk about especially for the second part of the season and as a result, many offers are coming in for the young starlet. However as explained by Matteo Barzaghi of Sky, Inter consider him unsellable and he is the only player that has this status of the entire team. Kovacic will remain a pivotal player that Inter will build around.

Zazzaroni: “Zuniga and Behrami not going to Inter, Napoli don’t want to reinforce competition”

During a show called “Marte Sport Live” on Radio Marte, Ivan Zazzaroni, a journalist that is close to Napoli, rules out the possible arrival of Zuniga and Behrami to Inter, both have been requested by Mazzarri.

“Napoli are not thinking about selling them, not even the slightest. They do not want to reinforce the competition and that is very normal to me. Both of them in Zuniga and Behrami will be needed by Rafael Benitez,” said Zazzaroni.

Sky – Juventus want Andrea Ranocchia

Make no mistake about it, Andrea Ranocchia and Juventus will be the transfer saga of this transfer window. From the studios of Sky Sport, Giovanni Guardala confirms the interest from Juventus for the Inter defender.

“Yes, Conte knows him very well but there is not only Ranocchia on their list of possible targets. The Bianconeri are also following Ogbonna who, however, has a really high transfer fee.”

Moratti went to London: Saras or business with Thohir?

More updates coming from Gazzetta.it related to all the events going on at Inter, and in the early afternoon, Massimo Moratti has left for London, for what looks like a business trip: “There may be issues related to Saras but it could also be related to the sale of the club.”

Massimo Moratti is expected to give his answer to Erick Thohir in 48 hours.

TS – Inter and AC Milan attracted by the new Messi

He is 13 years old, comes from a not prominent footballing country, such as Canada, but all the experts swear that he is the natural heir of Lionel Messi. His name is Michael Thornton, new small phenomenon that appeals to all the major clubs in Europe. Both AC Milan and Inter are interested in the boy and have invited him to private trainings. As noted by Tuttosport, the scouts agree on seeing the work of a phenomenon, fast and technical, very good with both feet and capable of realising tricks.

Sky – Lavezzi coming to Inter would be very difficult but with new investor…

The name of Ezequiel Lavezzi has recently re-emerged again after the appointment of Walter Mazzarri as Inter coach. To give us the latest update on this matter, here is Matteo Barzaghi from Sky.

“At the moment, I do not think that this is possible but with the new investor, everything could change. These are important days and Moratti wants to keep the majority,” said Barzaghi.

Erick Thohir would sign Lavezzi and Nainggolan for Inter

With the possible arrival of Erick Thohir as a potential owner of Inter, the Nerazzurri would get financial help to sign new players this upcoming summer. The Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport is reporting that with Thohir and his financial power, Inter would be able to sign Ezequiel Lavezzi and Radja Nainggolan to strengthen Mazzarri’s team for next season.

Agent: “Inter rumors? It is an honor for me and for Belfodil”

The hunt to find Diego Milito’s replacement is on seeing how the Argentinian still has a bit of recovering to do. One of the many names that we have seen recently is Ishak Belfodil, current Parma forward.

“Inter? Honestly, I do not know anything but we, the kid and I, really appreciate the words of Marco Branca because it is an honor to be linked to a club so prestigious like Inter,” said George Atangana, agent.

“I do not know if Inter have contacted Parma and so it is premature to talk about these things because I have not had any direct contacts with Inter management either.”

GdS – Basta and Isla, preferred solutions by Inter

Getting a winger is a top priority given by Walter Mazzarri to Inter and thus, the Nerazzurri will try to satisfy the coach in the next couple of months. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the two favorite players right now are Dusan Basta and Mauricio Isla. The first, there was some sort of talk with Udinese while the second, Inter could include Andrea Ranocchia and send him to Juventus.

Inter already looking to replace Ranocchia?

The future of Andrea Ranocchia is uncertain to say the least. The Italian is constantly been linked to a move away from Inter and especially to Juventus for the Bianconeri winger Maurcio Isla. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are perhaps already thinking of finding alternatives/replacements. The names, provided by the newspaper, are Adil Rami of Valencia, Alexandar Dragovic of Basel and Diakite who is a free agent but there is Sunderland on him.

Lavezzi does not want to leave Paris

Transfer season is full of contradictions. If a few days ago, the Corriere dello Sport reported that Ezequiel Lavezzi wants to return to Italy and specifically the Argentinian would like to play for Walter Mazzarri again but this time at Inter. Today, the Gazzetta dello Sport suggests otherwise and that Il Pocho has no intention of leaving French champions Paris Saint Germain.

Alexis Sanchez still a possibility thanks to… Neymar

There are many names that Inter could look at for the attacking department. The first is Ishak Belfodil of Parma who has a 14 million value and thus it is very difficult. On him, there is also Liverpool but Mazzarri wanted the player during his time at Napoli. Then there is also the low-cost option of Gilardino but beware of the possibility of Alexis Sanchez. After the signing of Neymar, it is a bit easier to sign the Chilean and take him away from the Spanish champions.

Guarin wants to leave for Champions League football?

The Gazzetta dello Sport has asked a very interesting question: would Inter object if Fredy Guarin wants to change scenery to go to play in the Champions League with English and Spanish clubs?

Walter Mazzarri would prefer a motivated Guarin but if he isn’t motivated and wants to go elsewhere, there is no point of keeping the player especially if Inter can make capital gain by selling the Colombian midfielder for 18 million euros. Transfer season is still long and so we will have to wait and see.

Inter to challenge Real Madrid for Geoffrey Kondogbia

There is a chance that Fredy Guarin could leave Inter this summer. In his place, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, with the potential money from Erick Thohir, Inter would be looking at two quality signings for the midfield: Kondogbia and Nainggolan.

The first is wanted by Real Madrid but we will need to see who is going to be the club’s new coach and what he will do transfer wise. Geoffrey Kondogbia is 20 year-old Sevilla midfielder and costs 18 million euros: certainly a strong and dynamic prospect that would fit well in what Mazzarri wants to do.

And Radja Nainggolan? He is also liked but costs 15 million euros. Let’s not forget Paulinho of Corinthians and Fernando of Porto for whom, Inter could include Alvarez to be exchanged.

Erick Thohir’s first priority: reducing squad size

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Thohir does not want this going back and forth with Moratti going on for too long because he intends to get to work immediately especially regarding the transfer market. One of many things that the Indonesian would like to implement is to cut down the squad size, one that he considers too big for a team that will not be playing in Europe.

Paulinho: “Transfer rumors? My agent working on it”

Speaking at a press conference with the Brazilian national team, Paulinho decided to talk briefly about this future as the Corinthians midfielder is always in the thought of Inter.

“My agent will worry about my future. He is doing his job while I am doing the mine which is playing. Certainly, it is difficult to avoid these rumors but when there is something, I will tell you.”

Massimo Moratti resists Indonesian Thohir – Latest on the future of Inter

INDO INTER, MORATTI RESISTS – THE INTERESTING PROPOSAL

Indonesian Thohir is ready to put in 300 million euros for 100% of the club.
President is evaluating the possibility of selling minority of shares: “For the moment, I have no intention of selling (all).”

Screen-Shot-2013-05-30-at-8.47.06-PM.png

INTER OF ANOTHER WORLD

Indonesian Erick Thohir: 300 million for 100%. Moratti: “Now I do not sell.” Negotiating but only for 40%.
The president hesitates: thinking of selling a minority stake. The magnate is also ready to offer 60 million for transfer budget.

Milan – Two months to do the math. Two months to realize that the deal could be done. And the result is that Inter could become a team… of another world. All because the club is facing a serious, concrete, dependable and generous pressing of Indonesian entrepreneur Erick Thohir and now Massimo Moratti is reflecting, evaluating, sharing ideas and also fears but with a concrete possibility of coming to a deal that could put the Nerazzurri in front of a different future. Because those that are close to Moratti constantly repeating that – considering the economic crisis – this is a train that will never pass by again. The Inter president is now listing to the reasons from his heart but also head: these are the very decisive moments. “Negotiations are those that you guys already know but for the moment I am not going to sell,” said Moratti who after lunch yesterday afternoon departed for London for unspecified work commitments.

Who wants what Thohir, after the past weekend in Milan, has left his emissaries (two lawyers) to carry out a complex sale but many issues to deal with such as paying the accumulated debts of the past. In practice: Massimo Moratti thinks of selling a stake of his family creation and would only like to give up a slice of minority (30-40%) and then in two or three years time, leaving the club totally in the hands of Indonesian magnate who, however, is pushing for full acquisition immediately. It’s the will of Moratti, however, that the final hand-over would occur over time and only through the fulfillment of an immediate obligation and a proper contract/certificate: the construction of the new stadium would be the certain guarantee that he wants from the Indonesian and the club’s offices maintain that it is president Moratti’s desire to not untie his name from the club. On the other hand, Thohir is asking for a strong input from the start because giving money for a minority without having anything power in the “governance” would make little sense.

The climb To say that at the moment, Moratti is being swayed is perhaps too much. Let’s say that there is an ongoing thought process and the temptation is strong. Talks with the Indonesians started back in last May during a mini tournament in that country and everything has become more and more open, more concrete as time goes by with repeated showing of interest by Thohir. It does not appear that there is any sort of ultimatum from the Indonesian group. Thohir does want to climb the Inter ladder to the point that there was talk of a 280 million offer for 80% share capital of the club. But again, Moratti does not want to sell the whole package and hesitates also for the sentimental value.

Who gets the debts? Moratti does not compromise on the stadium project both as a symbole of the family and also as an element to ensure economic stability in the future. One of the stumbling blocks that may lengthen the time of the agreement is, however, tied to who would take over the debts: in practice Moratti and Thohir should decide on who will have to shoulder the 150 million because if the Indonesian magnate offers “only” 300 million for everything, going to the pocket of Moratti would be precisely 150 million euros. Another figure that is not easy to determine is the amount – as long as this deal is closed very soon – that would be spent on the transfer market. A figure that could be around 50-60 million euros. Final consideration. A year and a half ago, Inter were worth 600 million euros (including property assets, players, brand and images) but it is likely now that the value has fallen. But as the time continues to go by, the train of Erick Thohir may never be around for a second time. Moratti knows this. Temptation is great.

Sky – Gilardino and Bianchi, candidates for vice-Milito position

Inter are looking for a forward as a backup plan to the injured Diego Milito, a vice-Milito if you will. The Argentinian forward is recovering but it is not said that he would be ready at the start of next season while the other Argentinian, Mauro Icardi, would be allowed to slowly and surely improve.

Thus, as revealed by Sky Sport, the Nerazzurri have made inquiries for Gilardino and Bianchi. Both are solid veterans in this league and could be helpful coming off the bench.

Rami confirms: “I’m talking with Inter”

Adil Rami, defender of Valencia and French national team, has admitted contact with Inter and Roma with the possibility of signing to one of them next season.

“Yes, it is true. We are talking but nothing is decided. Leaving Spain? Yes, there is a 60% chance that I could leave. The club wants to extend contract and its proposal is very interesting but I have refused.”

TMW – Schelotto officially is for sale

“Ezequiel Matias Schelotto is officially on the market.” This was reported by Tutto Mercato Web which explains that “Inter do not seem wanting to focus on him next season so in recent days, they have included Schelotto on the list of players leaving the club this summer. The valuation is high for the sale: around 6-7 million euros. A figue that could be lowered perhaps by players from other clubs. Inter – already proposed Schelotto to Torino – are waiting for offers. The Argentinian did not convince at all this season and his status is out of the club.”

GdS – Behrami costs only 5 million. Nainggolan …

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the spotlight is back on Valon Behrami who is wanted at Inter by his former coach. The value of the Swiss international will not exceed 5 million euros and he would perform very well under the guidance of Mazzarri. As for Radja Nainggolan, the Belgian is valued at 15-18 million euros which is currently too much for Inter.

TS – Mazzarri wants Zuniga, and with Cordoba’s help …

According to Tuttosport, the first name on Inter’s list for the transfer market is Juan Camilo Zuniga of Napoli. “Zuniga’s expiring contract will force Napoli to sell the player, Inter and Juve are interested but with Ivan Cordoba’s influence on his fellow Colombians, Zuniga might reunite with his former coach at Inter.”

Inler: “Inter? I want to respect Napoli contract”

The rumors of Gokhan Inler to Inter have basically faded away fast and furious over the last few weeks. Yesterday in an interview with Swiss newspaper Blick, the Napoli midfielder cools Inter rumors even further.

“I am at Inter? Many things have been written about me but it is not going to be a transfer. My idea is to respect the contract that I have with Napoli,” said Inler.

Duncan could stay at Livorno for one more season, everything depends on Inter

Alfred Duncan is proving to be a very important in the playoffs with Livorno who is one step away from returning to Serie A. The future? Well, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, everything depends on Inter and its new coach Walter Mazzarri.

“The future depends on the Nerazzurri. He is appreciated at Inter and awaits a decision but with Livorno coming back to Serie A, they would love to have the midfielder for another year because Duncan does not lack interest.”

TS – Big offer from MLS for Samuel but he has decided to stay at Inter

From the pages of Tuttosport, there is a story suggesting that Walter Samuel has received a huge offer from the MLS (Major League Soccer) in recent weeks. However, the paper also points out that Samuel, however, has decided to stay at Inter and “will return his contract.”

The Argentinian’s contract expires this summer but it has been widely reported that he’ll stay put for one more season.

Mathieu Flamini to Inter for free?

New name for the Inter midfield. After Behrami, Fernando, Paulinho and Nainggolan, the Italian media is reporting that Mathieu Flamini is getting attention from Inter. According to Tuttosport, “Mathieu Flamini is ready to go to Mazzarri” as the French international has an expiring contract at the end of June. Another source, Corriere dello Sport, is also reporting the same thing and states that Walter Mazzarri is really interested in the Milan midfielder.

Agent: “Bonaventura is not cheap”

Soon after the debut in the Italian national team of his client, Giocondo Martorelli, agent of Giacomo Bonaventura, discusses the latest situation of the Atalanta player.

“Let’s remember that his club, Atalanta, has not decided to put him on the transfer market and also his price is not low after a season playing at a high level and especially after the debut with the Italian national team. Anyone that is interested in the player must first talk to Atalanta.”

From Brazil: “Paulinho is an Inter player.” GdS denies…

Paulino to Inter: Brazil believes, Milan newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport does not. According to Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, the Corinthians midfielder will go to Milan this summer, for the black and blue side of course. The decisive meeting took place May 25 in London during the Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Both managements were present and able to find an agreement for the player.

However, the Gazzetta dello Sport has denied this rumor: “Denials are coming on this agreement between Corinthians and Inter for Paulinho. There is no confirmation, at least not right now.”

GdS – Advanced Contacts With Thohir And 300 Million Euro Project

From its front page, La Gazzetta dello Sport launches even more rumors about ‘advanced contacts’ with Erick Thohir as a partner for Inter. The Indonesian tycoon continues to push for Inter and will not let go, talks with Massimo Moratti go ahead but there are many details. In particular, Thohir also presented his project to the president, a project that would see the base of the annual turnover of Inter of revenues up to 300 million euros.

CdS: Inter finally sign Paulinho? The transfer fee is…

16 million euros is what Corriere dello Sport is reporting as the transfer fee from Inter to Corinthians/Audax for Paulinho.

Apparently the deal was closed after the Champions League final, with Ausilio carrying out negotiations in London. Reports emerged yesterday in Brazil that an agreement had been reached, but those were quickly denied by Italian media outlets. After a very long courtship, this could be the final stage of this soap opera…and yet, still with no confirmation, it may just be be another chapter in a very, very, long book.

Jacobelli: ‘Serious Project With Thohir Which Failed With The Chinese…’

From the studios of SportItalia, Xavier Jacobelli comments on the possibility that Erick Thohir may become part of Inter’s future.

“The concerns of the fans are legitimate, but this is football in the third millennium. There is a crisis that is affecting the world of football. Thohir offers 280 million for the full package, because the project with the Chinese had failed given the problems of bureaucracy for the construction of the stadium.”

Sky – Inter could let Duncan stay at Livorno for another year

Speaking on the situation of Alfred Duncan, Andrea Paventi of Sky explains how things are.

“Duncan perhaps at Inter would not be a starter and so maybe the club would allow him another year of maturity at Livorno but the chances of Inter keeping the midfielder with the first team are there. These are the assessments of the club and Mazzarri.”

Bologna want Longo to replace Gilardino

Waiting to see what the future of Alberto Gilardino is going to be, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, Bologna have begun to think about its own future with a replacement. The top two names to replace the Italian forward are Haris Seferovic and Inter forward Samuele Longo. For the Italian of Inter, there is also interest from Verona.

L’Equipe – Agreement close between Fernando and Monaco

Incredible news regarding the fate of Fernando comes directly from the pages of the L’Equipe. According to the French newspaper, the Porto midfielder is just a step away from finding an agreement with Monaco of Claudio Ranieri. It also reported that the same Fernando visited the club on the weekend to discuss terms of contract and an agreement was found then. The Portuguese is excited to have this new challenge, new start and with a 20 million offer, Porto are also convinced.

Competition of Inter and PSG is no more as Fernando could be the fifth signing for the French club this season after James Rodriguez, Joao Moutinho, Ricardo Carvalho and Radamel Falcao.

Milan derby for Radja Nainggolan

The name of Radja Nainggolan is one of the top transfer targets that have been requested by Walter Mazzarri. The Belgian midfielder is a very hot name at the moment and is on the way out of Cagliari and it would become much more likely, that is the arrival of him at Inter, with Erick Thohir in management of Inter given the economic power and half of Nainggolan is Indonesian.

However, according to Matteo Barzaghi, there is also Milan. The Sky reporter points out that with the confirmation of coach Massimiliano Allegri, Radja Nainggolan is also their target because Allegri has been a long time admirer.

Adil Rami wants to leave Valencia but has Premier League desire

Adil Rami, French defender and is under the watchful eyes of Inter and Roma, has once again reiterated his intention to leave Valencia this summer. In an interview with RMC Sport, the player says that “I have no problems with Valencia but it is impossible for me to stay here. I have ready that the club is pushing to sell me but it is not absolutely true. My future? I am 27 years old and not thinking about money. I just want a new challenge and perhaps the Premier League, for example, could be one of the leagues that suit me best.”

Sky – Ranocchia wants to stay but with 18-20 million…

Andrea Ranocchia has only one thing in mind: to stay at Inter and to be successful at this club despite all the rumors surrounding him lately. According to Andrea Paventi of Sky Sports, the Italian defender has no intention of leaving Inter, the shirt that he gave a lot for this year by sacrificing himself playing on a bad knee for the last few games of the season. In addition, knowing that he could be a key defender in Walter Mazzarri’s three-man defense, Ranocchia would be even more motivated.

Nevertheless, Inter do not consider anyone unsellable, well… perhaps Mateo Kovacic. And so, if there was to be a 18-20 million offer, Inter would really consider letting go of the Italian defender.

Sky – Inter will evaluate offers for Handanovic and Guarin

Inter must sell before buy. This has been the theme of our management for the last few years. In this upcoming transfer season, it will not be different especially we are still waiting on the news of this new investor from Indonesia. According to Luca Marchetti of Sky, “if offers arrive for Guarin and Handanovic, Inter will think about those adequate offers. The club is built to evaluate these things. They cannot and are not unsellable and this is the current situation.”

Alvarez leaving Inter, perhaps on loan

Speaking to Sky Sport 24, Andrea Paventi explains any possible outgoing transfers that Inter might have in mind. One of the names that have been heavily linked away from Inter is Ricardo Alvarez. The Argentinian, according to reports, could find himself struggling to adapt to the tactical ideas of new coach Walter Mazzarri.

“Alvarez could be one that is leaving the club. If a straight up sale does not happen, perhaps a loan for him might be a good solution,” said Paventi.

Dusan Basta in Inter hands, only missing the OK from Moratti

It seems like we have our solution on the wing. According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, Dusan Basta is very close to joining the Nerazzurri for next season.

“Basta is an operation that Inter have in hands and ready to close. However, we are still waiting for the ok from president Massimo Moratti to define the last details for his new coach Walter Mazzarri.”

Torino officially asked for Marco Benassi

Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reveals that Torino are interested in a young Inter player.

“Torino have pointed their interest towards Marco Benassi, Inter midfielder, who had a solid first year under the guidance of Stramaccioni. Now, they will need to talk about the formula, loan or co-own, and it will happen in the next few days. But the bottom line is that Torino have officially asked Inter for Benassi, the first possible gift for Ventura.”

Paulinho: “Who would not want to wear the Inter shirt?”

“I have said it before and I will say it again: I would go to Inter voluntarily. It is a club that is known all over the world and it is where Il Fenomeno Ronaldo, Julio Cesar, Lucio and Maicon had played. Who would not want to wear that shirt?”

Words of Paulinho, interviewed by the Gazzetta dello Sport after the match between Brazil and England, one that ended 2-2 with the midfielder scoring by a volley.

Inter are coming off a disappointing season and will not participate in any Cup competitions next season.

“It is not a problem. The Champions League is something beautiful just like the Libertadores but Inter are still great without the Cup because of their will to restart. We are talking about a club that a few years back won everything. But…”

But?

“If Inter want me, they must come forward with a right offer. I am not a young player. I am doing well in Brazil playing for corinthians, a strong and loved organization. I am also a starter for the Brazilian national team and scoring at the new Maracana in its inauguration will go down in history. So, to leave everything, I must have the right motivations.”

To whom do you dedicate that history goal?

“To my wife Barbara. My life partner. I have become someone in football and it was because of the support of my family.”

Other than Inter, there are other clubs interested in you?

“Yes I think so but I repeat: whoever wants me must go and talk with Corinthians. I will leave Brazil if only everyone is happy.”

Niccolin: “Inter, one of many clubs interested in Belhanda”

Louis Niccolin strikes again: the colorful president of Montpellier, interviewed by Le 10 Sport, spoke about the future of Younes Belhanda, the young Moroccan wildcard midfielder of the former champions of France. He explained that he had requests for him by as many as five clubs: Inter, Milan, Atletico Madrid, Aston Villa and Galatasaray have made proposals. He’s still on the market and will leave if someone was to offer at least 14-15 million.

Bellinazo: “Moratti thinking of Plan B for Thohir”

Il Sole 24 Ore writer Marco Bellinazzo speaks to Sky about the newest updates on Moratti’s ideas to Erick Thohir’s investment plans:

“Moratti’s dream was to have a minority shareholder for projects including the stadium for Inter in an international stage,” said business expert Bellinazo. “These days, Thohir has shown up, who wants to buy the majority of Inter; the offer is more than 250 million for the 80%, even more than that for 100%.” It is well known that Massimo Moratti does not, however, wish to hand over the reigns of his beloved club just yet.

“Now Moratti is considering a Plan B for 20/30%, and more shares over the years,” he added. “These are the two options you are talking about. It is now entering a historical phase, everything it may be decided this week or perhaps next week.”

Agent: “If a good offer arrives, Paulinho will leave.” There’s Monaco

Paulinho, Corinthians and Selecao midfielder, has received two offers from Europe and specifically from Inter and Monaco. This was reported by agent Giuliano Bertolucci to the Brazilian newspaper Lance.

“He will leave if a good offer for him arrives, I am certain of it. Anyway, we will talk (with the club) and see how the situation evolves,” said Bertolucci.

Sky – Nainggolan’s agent in Milan. Cagliari want 15 million

Rumors continue to emerge on a possible Milan derby for Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan. The player’s agent, Alessandro Beltrami, was in Milan today. However, according to Sky, there is no evidence of any meeting with Inter or the Rossoneri. Nainggolan is really liked by both coaches in Mazzarri and Allegri but with a very high asking price of 15 million euros by Cagliari, it will be very difficult to sign the Belgian international.

Agent: “Chivu staying at 98%”

Speaking to IlSussidiario.net, Ioan Becali discusses the situation of his client Cristian Chivu at Inter.

“I think that at 97-98%, he will remain at Inter. Walter Mazzarri has done good work and as a result, he has a good reputation of many people including Cristian,” said the agent.

Watch out Inter, strong competition for Dusan Basta

Watch out Inter, you are not alone on Dusan Basta. The Udinese winger is liked quite a bit by the Nerazzurri but according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, “Basta continues to get a lot of requests especially from abroad (in Italy, there is also Napoli). After Liverpool and Arsenal, on the Serbian player are Schalke 04 and also Wolsburg.”

Udinese also want Marco Benassi

Not only Torino on the trail of Marco Benassi. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Udinese have made an inquiry for the young midfielder of Inter. Among other things, these two clubs will also discuss the future of Faraoni also without forgetting the position of Dusan Basta who has a lot of interest coming from Inter management.

Mauro Icardi to have medical on Thursday, will officially become Inter player

Thursday will be the first day in black and blue for Mauro Icardi. Everything is done for his transfer to Inter and this agreement only needs to be confirmed with an official announcement. On Thursday morning, the forward will have a medical exam with Inter and then it will become his first day as an Inter player and the official announcement is expected to come shortly after. Going from Sampdoria to Inter, Mauro Icardi is ready to wear the black and blue shirt.

Samp director: “Icardi’s future already decided”

“I think that the future of Mauro Icardi is already decided.” Few but significant words of CArlo Osti, Sampdoria midfielder who has basically confirmed that we are at the final hours to witness the transfer of the Argentinian to Inter. This operation has been closed for quite some time.

Dragovic: “Make a right offer then I will leave”

Aleksandar Dragovic, Austrian defender of Basel, is starting to open the door to his departure. A few days after the match between his national team and Sweden, Dragovic admits the desire to leave the club.

“I have always said that if the right offer arrives, I will leave,” said the defender who has a contract with the current club until 2015. Dragovic also is liked by many clubs such as Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.

Camozzi: “Osvaldo and Belfodil not right players for Inter”

We have been hearing the name of Ishak Belfodil more and more recently, one that, according to FIFA agent Franco Camozzi, does not seem ideal for the team of Walter Mazzarri.

“I do not think that the forward is ready to make a leap in quality. Moreover Inter already have Mauro Icardi and so I think that Inter should focus on different players to win now. Osvaldo? I do not have doubt as a player but I do as a man. He has had too many behavioral problems and I also do not think he is the right man for Inter.”

GdS – Difficult to sign Nainggolan due to high price tag

“Behrami, Nainggolan and Fernando: one of these three players will be a new acquisition by Inter for its midfield.” That was written by the Gazzetta dello Sport which explains also that it is very difficult to sign the Brazilian and the Belgium due to the high request of their clubs. However, the Nerazzurri already have Duncan who spent last season on loan at Livorno. Walter Mazzarri will now decide whether to keep or send the player out on loan again to get more experience.

GdS – Longo could leave Inter this summer

The Gazzetta dello Sport speculates that the future of Samuele Longo is perhaps not at Inter. According to the Milan newspaper, the return of the Italian forward is very difficult and that Longo has a lot of interest from many clubs and could very well be sold this summer.

Inter-Milan for Belfodil and Belhanda

It is always Milan derby on and off the field. Both Inter and Milan seem to have targeted the same players for next season. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, these two clubs are fighting for Ishak Belfodil (but there is no agreement with the agent) and also Younes Belhanda. The trequartista of Montepellier is also followed by Atletico Madrid, Aston Villa and Galatasaray.

Obi expected to stay for next season

The Gazzetta dello Sport analyzes the future of some young Inter players. The first is Joel Obi who is expected to stay at Inter for the next season according to the newspaper. However, Livorno president Spinelli will ask the Nerazzurri to leave Duncan at his club for another season.

Zuniga remains a priority for Walter Mazzarri but there’s doubt

Walter Mazzarri has one and only one player in mind: Juan Camilo Zuniga because the coach is a big fan of the Colombian. Mazzarri has requested him and especially him but there is an obstacle called Napoli president De Laurentiis who has defined the player as unsellable. However, the truth is closer to the fact that Benitez will want to see him (Zuniga) in person and in training camp. In short: there are doubts.

Walter says yes to Walter – Mazzarri to keep Samuel for another year

Before it was just a rumor. Now, it has become a reality: Walter has said yes to Walter that is Mazzarri has said yes to Samuel for another season. The Argentinian defender, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, has exercised the option for another season. Both parties have also come to an agreement and voices suggest that there is already a signature on the dotted line.

Gazzetta confirms – Icardi to have medical with Inter on Thursday

The much anticipated arrival of Mauro Icardi is almost here. This deal to bring the Argentinian forward to Inter wrapped up months ago and only now it can become official. The Gazzetta dello Sport has confirmed Sky report that Icardi will have a medical tomorrow, Thursday, then everything will become official.

Paulinho wants Inter but Inter do not have 20 million

The Paulinho saga is set to continue. We have talked about this player for basically a year now and yet, Paulinho does not seem any closer to the Nerazzurri. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian wants to play for Inter but the biggest problem right now is that we do not seem to have 20 million for him. In the meantime, Montpellier confirms that Inter (and also Milan) have made an offer for Belhanda.

Senad Lulic, the alternative to Zuniga

Zuniga is the man that Mazzarri wants but it is going to be difficult. And as a result, plan B is ready to be in full effect. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have identified Senad Lulic, 27 years old, as one with ideal characteristics to play on the wing. The Lazio left winger is considered one of the best in his position in this league and has a transfer fee of about 8 million euros. There is also Juventus on the player.

Tottenham-Guarin rumors intensify, Inter would sell for 20 million

Mazzarri wants to transform Fredy Guarin into a Hamsik at Inter, the club believes that the Colombian is unsellable. However, it is clear that a proposal in the neighborhood of 20 million euros would sway Inter management. The rumors, at least from London, that link Fredy Guarin to Tottenham continue to intensity and the question has to be asked one more time: would Inter sell for 20 million? The answer remains to be seen…

Pablo Barrientos to replace Fredy Guarin at Inter?

The future of Fredy Guarin is very uncertain. Strong rumors continue to link the Colombian away from Inter and towards the Premier League, specifically Tottenham. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have already had an alternative if Guarin is indeed making his way to England. The name is Pablo Barrientos, 28 years old and an Argentinian midfielder at Catania. The player is talented and can play in midfield and also in the attack.

CdS – Two new defenders ready to replace Ranocchia

According to the Corriere dello Sport, should Andrea Ranocchia leave Inter, the Nerazzurri would already have two defenders ready to jump in and help out. The first is Alexandar Dragovic of Basel and the second is Marcos Rojo, Argentinian defender of Sporting Lisbon and his national team. Ranocchia has been heavily linked to a move away from Inter this season despite the fact that the player has shown great intention to stay.

CdS – Moratti annoyed by Thohir’s tweets

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Massimo Moratti is “annoyed by the many tweets of Erick Tohhir. Everything from Italian one, his vision for a new Inter, even a photo with Jose Mourinho. In the meantime, Thohir continues following his path” perhaps to become a new Inter owner.

Barcelona to let go 12 players to cover Neymar cost

Barcelona, according to El Mundo Deportivo, could start offloading a lot of player to cover the 57 million transfer fee and salary that they have spent on Neymar. Afellay, Fontas, Bojan and Cuenca are all on the transfer market. Abidal and Muniesa having an expiring contract while Rafinha and Deulofeu will be loaned out. In addition there are the “big” like Villa, Valdes, Thiago Alcantara and Tello… all have been put on the market to recover some money back.

It is unclear if Inter want to jump on any of the available players.

Inter only want to sell Pereira at more than 10 million

Alvaro Pereira, if it was up to Walter Mazzarri to decide, would stay at Inter. The Uruguayan left back was wanted by the coach at Napoli last season but the Nerazzurri managed to beat out the Azzurri at the last minute. Pereira was paid 10 million (plus 5 in bonuses) for and Inter cannot go below double digits if they were to sell the player who is liked at Tottenham and Monaco. The high price tag of Pereira (on which Inter have no intention to give discount) is what slowing down negotiations, at least for the moment.

Inter to include player(s) to lower Dusan Basta’s transfer fee?

The not so good relationship between De Laurentiis and Walter Mazzarri could convince Inter to abandon its target Zuniga, one that has been declared unsellable by the Napoli president.

Precisely for this reason, Tuttosport points out that “Inter have decided to push for Udinese winger Dusan Basta. The player costs 10 million and Inter could include one of three players to lower the price like the other half of Faraoni, Obi and Biraghi.”

O Jogo: Branca particularly wants Marcos Rojo

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claims Marco Branca has set his sights on Sporting Lisbon’s Marcos Rojo.

The Argentinian center back has been tracked by Inter for some time, and the newspaper reveals that technical director Marco Branca has prioritized 23 year-old Rojo for Inter. He is rated at 6-7 million euros. However, with Walter Samuel’s contract renewal, and Chivu’s agent stating his client will stay “98%”, it may not be as high a priority for Mazzarri to see the left-footed Argentine arrive at Appiano Gentile. That however, could change if Andrea Ranocchia leaves.

Lazio president: “Inter-Lulic rumor? It’s stupid”

Today, the Gazzetta dello Sport launches the name of Senad Lulic, 27 year-old winger of Lazio, as an alternative to Zuniga for Mazzarri. In an interview with FC Inter News, Claudio Lotito denies it all.

President, today we read the interest from Inter for Lulic. Can you confirm?

“No, but I will categorically deny it.”

So you’re going to deny the existence of negotiations?

“But no, they are all stupid…”

What is the evaluation of the player?

“There is not need to talk about it…”

Mudingayi: “I’m staying at Inter”

Is Gaby Mudingay staying or going? To him, his future belongs here at Inter and the player is ready for training camp in Pinzolo. ”I want to be ready for Pinzolo and I will stay at Inter. I feel good physically and am training hard to get back in shape while everyone now is on vacation.”

Guarin only thinks about Inter: “Ready to adapt to Mazzarri’s tactics”

In an interview with FC Inter News, Fredy Guarin is not thinking of all the rumors that are linking him away from the club, but rather, the player is ready to take on new challenges at Inter with the new coach in Walter Mazzarri.

“At Inter, I have changed many roles to do well just like my other teammates. So I am waiting for the choices of Mazzarri and I will try to do well. Wherever he puts me in, I will try to understand his new tactical ideas,” words of Guaro.

Parma director: “I’m at Inter? Not true”

Speaking to SportItalia, Parma director Pietro Leonardi denies the voices that link himself to other clubs. ”No, there is nothing. I have not had contact with Inter,” said the director. After a short period of time of not hearing any rumors regarding changing in management, this is the new one that has emerged in recent days.

Thohir: “Long negotiation with Moratti”

In a brief statement provided to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Erick Thohir discusses the current negotiation with Massimo Moratti to purchase the club and that “it will be a long negotiation with the Inter president.”

CdS – Inter want Belfodil, ready to give Parma Cassano?

Corriere dello Sport reports that Inter have indeed marked out Ishak Belfodil of Parma as a transfer target.

The Algerian has been valued at 20 million euros by Parma, but Inter would try to lower the price, perhaps including Antonio Cassano in a deal as well. 21 year-old Belfodil has been followed by Juventus and lately, Liverpool. Marco Branca recently mentioned that the strong and mobile Parma forward likes Inter, and that Inter are monitoring him.

In 33 appearances, the 1.91 meter (6ft 3in) forward scored 8 goals and made 5 assists in Serie A. With Milito leaving next season, and Palacio and Cassano both the wrong side of 30…a young forward to join new signing Mauro Icardi is being mooted by Inter to guarantee the future of the forward line.

CdS – Ranocchia could leave Inter, under one condition

The Corriere dello Sport analyzes the future of Andrea Ranocchia. According to the Roman newspaper, the defender could really leave the club but under one condition: for an offer that is 18 million or over. Despite constantly suggesting that he would respect his contract at Inter, which expires in 2015, Ranocchia remains heavily linked to a move away from the city of Milan.

CdS – Not only Tottenham but also Atletico Madrid that want Guarin

Not only Tottenham following Fredy Guarin, according to the Corriere dello Sport there is also Atletico Madrid of Diego Simeone on the Colombian midfielder. Rumors continue to surface that Guarin’s former coach Villas Boas really wants to reunite with the player in London, however, the player maintains that he is not going anywhere and is ready to adapt to new Inter coach Mazzarri’s tactical ideas.

Premium Calcio – Four upcoming transfer moves by Inter

According to a report from Premium Calcio on Calciomercato, the main objective for Inter is Dusan Basta on the wing position with Mauricio Isla as alternative. In the midfield, the priority remains Nainggolan while in the attack, the vice Milito position could go to either Belfodil and Gilardino, clients of Bozzo (also agent of Cassano and Mazzarri). Speaking of Cassano, the Italian forward is more and more likely to remain as an Inter player especially after the departure of Andrea Stramaccioni.

Daily Express – Tottenham ready to make 20 million offer for Guarin

According to the Daily Express, the desire of Tottenham Hotspur to sign Fredy Guarin has not died down at all. According to this report, the club in London is ready to make a 20 million offer to Inter for the Colombian midfielder. Guarin is really liked by his former coach Villas Boas who used to coach him at Porto.

Pedulla: “Either Nainggolan or Paulinho”

As revealed by Alfredo Pedulla to SportItalia , Inter will surely have a great midfielder. The characteristics depend on Kovacic and Guarin’s tactical positions. The two hot names are those of Radja Nainggolan of Cagliari (also liked by Milan) and Junior Paulinho of Corinithians (followed by Monaco).

GdS – Atletico Madrid back for Alvarez

Marco Branca has made it clear that Inter must sell before they buy, at least at this stage of the transfer market. As revealed by La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Atletico Madrid, after the departure of Radamel Falcao, are looking to bolster their attack and are once again back on Ricky Alvarez.” Despite a good finish to last season, for a suitable offer, Alvarez could be on his way out of the Italian club.

GdS – There are two proposals from the Premier League for Obi

For Joel Obi , there are interesting proposals coming from the Premier League and in particular from the North of England. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Newcastle and Sunderland are interested in signing the Nigerian who returned from a heartbreaking year. Everything will be decided after consulting Mazzarri.

GdS – Tottenham ready to offer 20 million for Fredy Guarin

No one is unsellable, not even Fredy Guarin. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport who stated the story from the Daily Express in England that “Guarin’s former coach Villas Boas is asking Tottenham to formalize an offer of 20 million euros to acquire the Colombian.” Villas Boas is a huge admire of the Colombian international as they have worked together during their time at Porto and so we will see if this is true in the next few days.

Italian sources – Ranocchia to Juve for Marrone possible

The Corriere and Gazzetta dello Sport have confirmed the news reported by Sky: Andrea Ranocchia could be included in a swap with Juventus for Luca Marrone. This is the latest rumor in the last few hours. If Mazzarri continues to express the importance of wing plays, reinforcing the midfield is as important. The name of the Juventus player is just the latest in the long list of midfielders that Inter have targeted in the last few weeks like Behrami, Paulinho, Nainggolan and Fernando.

Inter to use Gargano to get Zuniga

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the priority at Inter remains signing players for the wing positions. The name of Zuniga seems to be more complicated due to the resistance of Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis. However, the paper is reporting that Inter could play the card of Walter Gargano who will only be signed if Napoli can open some sort of discussion with Inter for the Colombian winger.

One of Paulinho or Nainggolan will arrive at Inter

According to a report done by Alfredo Pedulla, Sport Italia transfer expert, one great midfielder will surely arrive at Inter. The characteristics of this midfielder will depend a lot on the tactical placement of Mateo Kovacic and Fredy Guarin. The two biggest and most likely names at this moment are Nainggolan (Milan are also interested) and Paulinho (Monaco).

Matri, the latest name for Inter attack. But Gilardino remains favorite

Watch out for a new name for the Inter attack. According to a report from Studio Sport, Juvenus forward Alessandro Matri is the alternative to Alberto Gilardino for the vice-Milito position. There is also Bianchi and we must not rule out the Torino forward who was once a player under Walter Mazzarri. But the number one target right now is Bologna forward Gilardino.

Two offers for Dejan Stankovic, future away from Inter

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that offers are coming in for veteran Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic. Two clubs in Major League Soccer from Seattle and Toronto are trying to lure the Serbian away from Inter. One of the top prioritis of Walter Mazzarri is to reinforce the midfield and Stankovic is believed to be not in his plans. His future… is elsewhere.

Mazzarri likes Nocerino who is not on Inter radar

Talking on Radio Marte, transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reveals that Antonio Nocerino is appreciated by Walter Mazzarri for this characteristics as a midfielder although the current Milan player is not a transfer target of Inter. The Sky expert reports that Mazzarri wanted Nocerino at Napoli so we will see if anything concrete would happen in the next few weeks.

Sky – Diego Laxalt is not in Mazzarri’s plans

Matteo Barzaghi, talking to Sky Sport 24, explains the situation of Diego Laxalt who is arriving at Inter this summer.

“Laxalt is a young prospect but at this time, he is not in the top 22 players that Mazzarri would keep. However, the player will be evaluated in Pinzolo and we will see if he will use that opportunity to convince the coach.”

Inter ready to make an offer for Nainggolan who costs 13 million euros

Radja Nainggolan is pretty high up on the most desirable signings that Inter have for this transfer summer. According to FC Inter News, possible arrival of proposals for the Belgian midfielder are coming in the next few days and Inter will have to beat competition from Roma and Wolfsburg. The Sardinians know that it will be very difficult to hang on to the player for another year but the offer must be one that cannot be refused. The evaluation is 13 million euros without forgetting the possibility of including technical counterparts to lower the figure and this is the latest idea of the Nerazzurri.

CdS – Two signings are coming for Inter

Two signings are coming for Inter. This is according to the Corriere dello Sport which explains on its front page of the Saturday edition of the newspaper that “Inter, two signings are ready: Nainggolan and Basta.” A winger and a midfielder are two biggest needs and Walter Mazzarri has explicitly asked for reinforcements in these two positions.

Sky – Inter want Adil Rami but Napoli are the favorite

From the studios of Sky comes the latest news regarding the Inter defense for next season.

“For the defense of Inter, the Nerazzurri really like Adil Rami. The former Lille central defender costs around 12 million euros and there is also Napoli who is ready to offer 9.5 million. Inter, however, have made its move directly to the player’s representatives but Napoli are convinced that they could close this deal.”

Gilardino to Inter and Schelotto to Genoa in the works

Straight from Sky Sport studios, Gianluca Di Marzio reveals a possible exchange that Inter and Genoa are perhaps working on.

“At this moment, Inter are discussing a potential swap deal with Genoa: Ezequiel Schelotto in Rossoblu, Alberto Gilardino in Nerazzurri. The Argentinian, at one time, was followed by Genoa and one that the club really likes while Gilardino is a name that pleases Mazzarri.”

Latest name for Inter left wing: 19 year-old Brazilian Douglas Santos

“There is a Brazilian name for the left wing of the Nerazzurri: Douglas Santos of Nautico, born in 1995 but already in the national team of Scolari. Costa costs about 10 million and there is also Juventus in addition to a couple of German clubbs are working on the player but the Nerazzurri are there in the race.”

That was the revelation of the Gazzetta dello Sport. The player is certainly a very interesting prospect and an important talent. Santos is only 19 years old and already one of the better players, at least in Brazil, on the left side.

Pedulla: “Kolarov remains Inter target”

Speaking to SportItalia, journalist Alfredo Pedulla brought up the name of a new proposed target for the Inter left wing; Aleksandar Kolarov.

“He could be the right one,” said Pedulla. “Especially because Kolarov is leaving Manchester City. Senad Lulic is also an objective, but there you must deal with Lazio.”

The 27 year-old Serbian played in Italy from 2007-2010 before his move to City. With Lazio he made 82 Serie A appearances, scoring six times while delivering six assists from his left-back position.

CdS: Laxalt or Faraoni to be used in Basta deal?

According to Corriere dello Sport, the scheduled meeting between Inter and Udinese to figure out the future of Davide Faraoni could turn into much more.

It is not unknown that Inter like Udinese winger Dusan Basta, and this could become a major talking point during the upcoming meeting. Udinese want anywhere between 10-12 million euros for the 29 year-old Serbian. Inter would want to lower this price, and could very well include the rest of Faraoni’s ownership and/or include new signing Diego Laxalt in some capacity.

One would hope that at most Laxalt would be sent on loan. Although a lesser club might be more suitable to give experience to Laxalt, at least if Inter mean to keep hold of him. The Uruguayan player born in February of 1993 is not deemed to be in the immediate plans of Walter Mazzarri. That is, unless, he impresses the manager at the Pinzolo pre-season training camp.

GdS: Pescara want Biraghi

Don’t worry, Inter will keep a hold of him but loan him out next season for sure. This is according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Inter youngster is currently playing in the European U-21 Championship with his Italian teammates and has several offers for next season, namely, Pescara who would like to strengthen in order to return to the Serie A as soon as possible. The 20 year-old Italian spent the last season doing well with Cittadella, after an earlier year at Juve Stabia, both on loan.

Sky – Roma wants to close the deal for Nainggolan. But Inter…

Roma are pushing hard for Nainggolan. Before announcing their new manager, the Giallorossi want to sign two players. One of them is Benatia and the other could be Nainggolan. Two deals to be closed by Tuesday or Wednesday. According to Sky’s Gianluca Di Marzio, for Nainggolan it will take longer, because Roma must overcome the competition from Inter for the Belgian midfielder. Roma and Cagliari have not yet reached an agreement and Inter can still fit in even if Roma is a serious one and wants to close the deal by Wednesday.

Half of Serie A want Alfred Duncan but Mazzarri will decide

The offers are pouring in at Inter for Alfred Duncan. The Ghanaian midfielder, one of the main reasons for the promotion of Livorno to Serie A in the 2013-2014 season, is liked by half of Serie A and offers continue to arrive. First, however, there is Walter Mazzarri. The Inter coach will evaluate Duncan in training camp before deciding the fate with Duncan and with the club.

Sky – Mazzarri to launch Icardi. Another forward could arrive…

From Sky studios, Matteo Barzaghi has made it clear the situation related to Mauro Icardi and any other potential signings for Inter attack.

“Mazzarri wants to focus on Icardi and to trust him, waiting for the return of Diego Milito. It is also being discussed the name of Alberto Gilardino in the attack, another forward could arrived especially if there is an opportunity on the transfer market.”

Sky – Inter really like Belfodil but there are Milan and German clubs

Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky transfer expert, has confirmed that Ishak Belfodil, an Inter target, is also on the wish-list of Milan.

“Belfodil is very much appreciated at Inter, this is true but he also has proposals from the Bundesliga and there is especially Milan who have demonstrated concrete interest for the Parma forward.”

Bye bye Gargano, Inter unlikely to sign the player permanently

Rejected! As revealed by Sky Sport 24, at this very moment, it is not expected that Walter Mazzarri and Inter would exercise the option to sign the Walter Gargano to a permanent contract for five million euros. Behind this reason is the transfer market budget because Inter would be able to reinvest that money (five million plus wages) in other areas of the team or on a different player. The relationship between Mazzarri and Gargano is not positive due to their time at Napoli.

So the idea is to invest the money in a different way. For the midfield, the most discussed names at this moment are Radja Nainggolan and Fernando of Porto, several other alternatives are also ready.

Inter to send Diego Laxalt on loan?

A report came out yesterday suggested that Diego Laxalt is not in the plans of Walter Mazzarri, or in other words, he is not the top 22 players will be chosen for next season. However, the young Uruguayan will have his chance to impress at training camp in Pinzolo before any decision is made, a decision to send him out on loan is very likely at the moment.

Sky – Cambiasso will remain regular contributor under Mazzarri

From the studios of Sky Sport, Matteo Barzaghi confirms that Esteban Cambiasso is still very much in the plans of new coach Walter Mazzarri.

“Mazzarri’s intention is to focus on the veteran Argentinian because the player knows how to deal with other players in the team and their personality. The coach also sees him as a shield in front of the defense in a 3-5-2.”

The future of the Inter number 19 is right here in Milan… at least for this upcoming season.

Pres. Corinthians: “There are no offers for Paulinho”

The clock is ticking and the competition is increasing. While Paulinho is preparing to play in the Confederations Cup with the Selecao, his agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, flew to England, where he probably met with Chelsea and Tottenham who are interested in his client. In Italy, however, it’s a tug of war between Roma and Inter for the Brazilian. But the denials of the Corinthians president, Gobbi Mario Filho, have come from Brazil: “I have not received any offers for Paulinho,” he said to Folha de S. Paulo. Despite the denial, the local press swears that there is something moving in the shadows.

Parma want Mbaye

After Monaco’s interest, Parma add themselves to the list of teams interested in Ibrahima Mbaye. As reported today by the Corriere dello Sport, the Inter defender entered in the wanted list of Parma, who now would like to try to anticipate the competition of Monaco: “The deal has only just begun but is likely to develop in time."

Cagliari want 2 youngsters in Nainggolan deal

In the on-going negotiations for Radja Nainggolan Cagliari have expressed interest interest in some of Inter’s young talents. Cagliari is interested in Bardi, Italy’s U21 keeper who has returned from a year at Novara. The Corriere dello Sport writes: “Bardi is a 1992 born keeper with great potential and could possibly be a valid substitute for Agazzi, who is in the sights of Fiorentina. Speaking of substitutes, if Astori should go, Caldirola the captain of Italy’s U21′s is seen as an ideal replacement. He is currently co-owned by Inter and Cesena.”

Shakhtar Donetsk director: “Paulinho has a pre-contract with Inter”

Sergey Palkin, general director of Shakhtar Donetsk, has thrown in the towel in the race for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. Speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the director confirmed that “we are interested in him but the player has signed a pre-contract with Inter for some time.”

So according to the director, Inter have locked up Paulinho for next season.

Hernanes to Inter? Lotito: “No intention of selling”

Lazio president Claudio Lotito dispels the rumors surrounding his best players being linked to the transfer market, especially Hernanes, whom Inter had been linked with recently:

“We won’t sell him, nor have we received offers,” said Lotito. “We have a clear idea. Lazio will not sell Hernanes, and the same goes for our other gems. I refer to Lulic, Marchetti, Candreva. I think only of strengthening the team.”

A clear message to interested parties from the Lazio boss. With funds already restricted, this further rules out the possible moves Inter may have planned for either of Hernanes, Lulic or Marchetti (should Handanovic have been sold).

Two million difference between Inter and Juventus for Isla. Bianconeri also want Bardi or Duncan

Two million difference. This is the distance between Inter’s offer and Juventus’ demand for Mauricio Isla. As confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio, the offer of Inter has been officially submitted to Juventus.

“From Chile, the winger has made it known that he wants to have a different season than the previous one that he had just experienced. Inter, for the player, have offered 5 to 5.5 million euros for the Juventus half. However, the Bianconeri are asking for 7.5 million instead. Juventus have also made an attempt to include Francesco Bardi or Alfred Duncan but Inter do not want to give away their young gems.”

Here are the values of Inter young gems: total of 60 million

According to Tuttosport, the eight marvelous Inter young players are worth between 50-60 million euros. Inter have no intention to give anyone up, at least not completely.

Luca Caldirola – 4.5 million (Inter half)
Francesco Bardi - 12 million
Matteo Bianchetti – 2.5 million (Inter half)
Samuele Longo – 8 million
Cristiano Biraghi – 5 million
Giulio Donati – 6 million
Ibrahima Mbaye – 7 million
Alfred Duncan – 10 million

Sky – No pre-contract agreement between Paulinho and Inter

Earlier today, there was a rumor that Paulinho has signed a pre-contract agreement with Inter. The rumor was launched by Shakhtar Donetsk director but according to Gianluca Di Marzio, his words are dictated by the fact that “the same Paulinho has refused Ukraine as well as Russia as possible destination. It was just a matter of preference as the Brazilian wants other solutions. The relationship between Paulinho’s representatives and Inter remains solid but at the moment, there is no concrete negotiation on this front.”

Inter tracking three centre backs

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, “In these early stages of the transfer market, Inter are keeping tabs on three centre backs, Danilo, Dragovic and Rami.”

In short, the nerazzurri are definitely searching for a new centre back just in case of Andrea Ranocchia leaves this summer.

Paulinho: “Less talk, show the money”

Paulinho has come out to express his disappointment at the situation of his transfer.

“Unfortunately, for the moment, no one has shown the money that matches my release clause. Noone. Only talks of blah blah blah. But thank goodness that I scored a goal against Japan and that has given me a lot of happiness. Brazil will be a protagonist in the Confederations Cup.”

Sport Mediaset – Inter in talk with Anzhi for Samir Handanovic

Not only Fredy Guarin as transfer target for Anzhi. As reported today by Sport Mediaset, the Russian owner of Anzhi Sulejman Kerimov has set sight on another big player of Inter: Samir Handanovic.

“Confirmations have arrived that Anzhi have spoken with Inter,” according to SM. The request for the Slovenian goalkeeper is between 25 to 30 million euros.

Nainggolan: “Inter and Roma? No agreement”

In an interview with Aktual.co, Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan reveals that there is no agreement with Inter just yet.

“I have no agreement, neither with Inter nor Roma. I cannot give you an answer as to where I will be in the future but I will choose the best club for my career. Why do the big clubs want me? Well, I think that they believe that I would do well for them. Many clubs are interested in me.”

New meeting for Isla in coming days

As reported by Sky Sport 24, Mauricio Isla remains a top transfer target of Inter. In a few days, there will be new contacts between the parties as negotiations have officially started. Furthermore, to make room for the Chilean, one of Jonathan or Ezequiel Schelotto should leave the club for Mazzarri’s newest winger.

Inter-Genoa: Here are the players in discussion

Confirmed by Tuttosport, an upcoming meeting between Inter and Genoa officials could include certain specific names.

From Inter there are Ricky Alvarez and Ezequiel Schelotto, and from Genoa there is Alberto Gilardino.

Both Argentine Inter players could be included in different possible respective deals for Gilardino, who is currently with the Italian national team in Brazil for the FIFA Confederations Cup. Alvarez could be included on loan, and Schelotto on a permanent deal. Alvarez, who had a something of a revival in the second half of last season, and does not fit directly into Mazzarri’s current formation, could find regular playing time at Genoa, and gain necessary confidence. Schelotto has not been up to bill, is not in Mazzarri’s plans either, and is officially on sale this summer. Whether included in the Gilardino deal or not, the former Atalanta winger will very likely leave.

A key point in the deal is that the player’s agent is a familiar face in the Corso Vittorio Emanuele: Beppe Bozzo, mastermind of the Cassano and Kovacic deals, and representative of Walter Mazzarri as well.

Inter want to reinvest Guarin’s money to make two signings

As explained by Andrea Paventi to Sky Sport 24, Inter already have clear ideas on what they want to do with the situation of Fredy Guarin. If the Colombian is sold for a substantial figure, around 20 million, the idea would be to make two signings (a winger and another midfielder) with that money.

TS – Mazzarri to evaluate Duncan

Keep them or sell them in front of the right offer? This is the dilemma that Tuttosport is talking about for Inter on their young players, who have all had positive seasons. “The fact that there is no more Stramaccioni but Mazzarri has already given an answer (Strama liked to play young players, whereas Mazzarri doesn’t) in the meantime Walter will assess some of these youngsters in training camp, paying special attention to Alfred Duncan,” the newspaper said today.

Inter and Parma discuss Belfodil

Alfredo Pedulla has revealed that the future of Ishak Belfodil was talked about during a dinner: “Inter and Parma had a dinner and the player in the dicussion was Belfodil. Antonio Cassano could potentially become part of the deal, but the main focus is on Belfodil.”

Longo for Danilo? Agent denies

Is Samuele Longo included in a possible deal to get the Brazilian Danilo of Udinese? This rumor was not confirmed by the forward’s agent Renzo Contratto which has categorically denied this news exclusively to TuttoUdinese.it. Therefore, Samuele Longo is expected to be there with the team in training camp mid July and then together with coach Walter Mazzarri, his future will be decided then.

Inter refused eight million for Duncan

According to Tuttosport, Inter have not only refused the five million offer from Monaco for Ibrahima Mbaye because the Nerazzurri have done the same to an increased bid of eight million by Sunderland for Alfred Duncan. Duncan is probably the most sought after player that Inter have due to a great last season with Livorno.

Agent: “Juventus have asked information for Bardi”

What does the future of Francesco Bardi look like? The latest is that Juventus have asked for the upcoming young Italian goalkeeper but the club in Turin has received a straight no from Inter. Speaking to Radio Sportiva, agent Vincenzo Rispoli has this to say.

“Yes, I know that Juventus have asked for information. Among other things, before landing at Inter, Francesco had a tryout with Juventus but the Bianconeri decided to not take him. Inter then jumped on the opportunity and signed the player.”

GdS – Inter said yes to Marcos Rojo. Silvestre-Chivu ready to leave

The Gazzetta dello Sport explains that Inter have in mind the idea of signing Marco Rojo as well as sending Chivu and Silvestre packing.

“Rojo is the ideal prospect for Mazzarri and for the club. The reason is that Inter want to focus on young players with which to build the future around and also to cut back the wages even further. To accomplish the latter, it is likely that Chivu and Silvestre will leave the club this summer.”

Inter expecting new offer for Guarin, Pereira and Alvarez

Selling before buying. This has been the motto at this club ever since after that treble winning season in 2010. As explained by Andrea Paventi, the club is expecting a new and increased offer from Tottenham for Fredy Guarin but also Alvaro Pereira, the two players that are really appreciated by Andre Villas Boas. Meanwhile, for Ricardo Alvarez, an official offer from Atletico Madrid is also expected.

GdS – Inter already have replacement ready for Samir Handanovic

As much as we would like to believe that Samir Handanovic is here to stay, no one here is unsellable and with a right offer, even the Slovenian could really leave this club. Barcelona (there’s also Anzhi) remain vigilant for the Inter number one goalkeeper despite having their initial offer of 23 million rejected by the Nerazzurri. Many believe that with around 30 million, Inter would send Handa packing and according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, if that happens, the Nerazzurri already have in mind a replacement The name is Michael Agazzzi, the current goalkeeper of Cagliari.

Mauricio Pinilla, next vice-Milito candidate

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, there is a new name for the Inter attack. The Nerazzurri are actively looking for another forward (after Mauro Icardi) just in case Diego Milito is not back on time to start next season. After names like Alberto Gilardino and Rolandi Bianchi, the Milan newspaper has revealed Cagliari forward Mauricio Pinilla as a potential candidate for the vice-Milito role.

Sky – Inter to meet Nainggolan’s agent soon

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport updates us the latest movement of Inter for Radja Nainggolan.

“It is a true challenge between Inter and Roma for Radja Nainggolan. The Nerazzurri are not giving up and after the contact with Cagliari (lunch between Branca and Cellino), the Nerazzurri could soon meet the player’s agent to make the next steps forward. The race to Nainggolan is live.”

TS – Mazzarri pushing for Dragovic

Walter Mazzarri is pushing for Aleksandar Dragovic. This has been reported by Turin newspaper Tuttosport which explains that the coach wants the Basel defender at Inter. Not only that, the newspaper also reports the words of Nainggolan which are “I will leave Cagliari.”

Portuguese press – Fernando leaving Porto but 10 million won’t be enough

Straight from Portugal are confirmations that Fernando is indeed on the transfer market. This is not new to anyone but the real revelation is that 10 million will not be enough to take him away from Porto. The Dragoes have rejected that figure from Monaco, the club that has already given Porto so much money with the signings of James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho (70 million for both). According to sources, Porto have communicated to their new coach Paulo Fonseca that Fernando will not be part of the club next season.

Inter asked information on Cyril Thereau

Inter are making concrete steps towards Cyril Thereau. The Chievo forward had a nice season and the bigs in Serie A are making their move.

“Inter have asked information on Thereau who is also liked by Roma and Milan. Regarding Marcos Rojo, there is no news on the interest that Inter have on the Argentinian defender of Lisbon. The defender is also liked by Catania and negotiations are underway.”

Isla confirms: “Inter have made an offer for me”

There is a bit of a gap between Inter and Juventus on the valuation of Mauricio Isla. The Nerazzurri are pressing and believe that half of Isla costs about 5 to 5.5 million euros. The Bianconeri, however, are not letting their half go for below 7.5. This is the latest situation on this front.

Meanwhile, the player has confirmed Inter offer.

“Yes, there is a possibility of leaving Juventus and Inter have made an offer for me and they are talking about it. I only want to play and it would be perfect for me because I want to make myself useful also for the national team and want to find my form again.”

Sky – Inter to meet Genoa for Luca Antonelli, Alvarez, Schelotto and Casasno

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport announces that Luca Antonelli of Genoa is under the watchful eyes of Inter for the left wing position.

“Inter like Antonelli and will talk about him in a meeting (with Genoa) today as Inter have made a request for the left winger. The discussion between these two clubs is not just for the Italian full back but also Schelotto, Alvarez, and even the Cassano temptation of Genoa.”

Agent: “Handanovic at Anzhi? I don’t think so”

Straight up denial from the agent of Samir Handanovic. Claudia Pastorello has denied any possibility of us seeing his client playing for Anzhi next season. ”Handanovic at Anzhi? I do not think so. Samir is only thinking to be well prepared for the upcoming season with Inter,” said agent.

Inter to spend 25 million for three Cagliari players: Nainggolan, Pinilla and Agazzi?

Here he is again. Mauricio Pinilla is back in the thought of two Inter directors Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio. This is explained by the Gazzetta dello Sport that Inter are interested in the player again and would spend about 25 million euros for him, Agazzi and Nainggolan, all Cagliari players.

“However, the favorite for the vice-Milito position remains Alberto Gilaridno (Genoa are interested in Alvarez more than Schelotto). Certainly, Mazzarri wants an experienced forward that can be relied on at the start of next season before the return of Milito.”

Tottenham ready to close the deal for Paulinho

More likely in Premier League than Serie A. That is the future of Paulinho, the player that Inter and Roma like quite a bit. The favorite, at the moment, seems to be Tottenham Hotspur of Andre Villas Boas as the English club is willing to meet the demand of Corinthians which continues to ask for 20 million euros for its player.

“We will receive a formal offer in the next few days and we hope to reach an agreement soon,” said an individual in Corinthians management (quote was provided by L’Equipe). Paulinho, in the past, seemed destined to wear the Inter shirt but now Tottenham seem more convinced and have more cash available.
