Inter signed Francesco Bardi for one million in 2011, now he is worth…

A pure talent. According to the Turin newspaper Tuttosport, the valuation of Francesco Bardi – U-21 Italian national team goalkeeper and owned by Inter – has skyrocketed to 12 million euros. A huge figure given the fact that the Nerazzurri only paid one million for the player in January of 2011.

GdS – Branca met up with Moratti today

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, today, a meeting between Inter technical director Marco Branca and president Massimo Moratti has taken place today in Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The topics of discussion were about the co-ownership deals and new transfer market operations.

Inter-Genoa-Parma, many names in discussion including Cassano, Antonelli and Belfodil

Forget Fredy Guarin, Samir Handanovic and Ricardo Alvarez, Antonio Cassano is the hottest name in the last few hours with many rumors of him leaving the club. According to a report from Luca Marchetti for Sky Sport 24, Genoa and also Parma really like the Italian forward and the Nerazzurri should meet both clubs today. With the Grifone (Genoa), the names in discussion are Luca Antonelli, Ezequiel Schelotto and Ricardo Alvarez while it is all about Ishak Belfodil with Parma. For the Algerian forward, there is also Shakhtar Donetsk who is ready to offer 11 million euros but the Nerazzurri could have leverage thanks to the good relationship with the Ducali to whom, Matias Silvestre could be offered as well.

Branca: “Cassano to Genoa? Only rumors. No meeting planned”

Antonio Cassano to Genoa? Only rumors. This is according to Inter technical director Marco Branca who has denied any planned meeting with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi as well as denied the rumors regarding a possible transfer of FantAntonio Cassano to the red and blue.

“There was no meeting today and there will be no meeting in the future with Genoa. Antonio Cassano is going to Genoa? This is only a rumor,” Branca claimed.

Inter-Parma negotiation for Belfodil has started, Mariga possibly involved

Inter and Parma have officially started negotiations for 21 year-old forward Ishak Belfodil. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, there could also be McDonald Mariga included in negotiations between these two clubs. The Kenyan midfielder was already on loan at Parma for the second part of last season.

Andrea Bertolacci intrigues Inter

Transfer market meeting between Inter and Genoa. As revealed by Gianluca di Marzio, despite Branca’s denial, Inter and Genoa will probably meet today and there are many players on the table.

“With Preziosi, the meeting is scheduled for 18:00 CET. Inter want Antonelli and the club is also intrigued by Andrea Bertolacci while on the table for Genoa are Alvarez and Schelotto. Even Cassano could end up included in this negotiation.”

Silvestre to Parma on loan for Belfodil?

The search for a vice-Milito continues and perhaps the two most likely candidates at the moment are Alberto Gilardino and Ishak Belfodil. Not only Cassano and Belfodil that Inter and Parma will talk about. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Argentinian defender Matias Silvestre could be included in negotiation but only on loan at the moment.

Breaking news – Inter and Parma reached agreement for Belfodil. 10 million and…

Agreement reached. Inter and Parma have talked and there is an agreement for Ishak Belfodil. The agreement was reached on this basis: HALF of Belfodil for 10 million and the loans of both Cassano and Silvestre, with right to purchase. This operation still depends on the will of Antonio Cassano who will discuss this possible move with his agent. At Parma, the Italian forward will have an important role as well as a three-year contract to end his career there.

Meeting in progress for Luca Antonelli. Inter want to wrap up the deal as soon as possible

Not only Ishak Belfodil, Inter continue to look for more reinforcement. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter and Genoa are discussing the future of Luca Antonelli. The meeting is in progress and in the office of Preziosi, there are also vice president Rovati and Delli Carri. Inter, after finging agreement with Parma, are actively trying to close this operation for Antonelli as well.

New Genoa coach considers Alvarez as priority

Fabio Liverani is trying hard to land Ricardo Alvarez for his Genoa. According to Alfredo Pedulla, the next few hours will be decisive for the future of the former Velez Sarsfield and current Inter midfielder Ricardo Alvarez. Genoa’s new coach considers Ricky as an essential element for his 4-3-3 formation that he intends to test in his first year as manager in the top-flight.

Inter interested in Danilo Larangeira

With the departure of Matias Silvestre and perhaps even Cristian Chivu, Inter will continue its search on another central defender. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport which has confirmed the rumor that Inter are after Danilo Larangeira of Udinese. However, the defender is not cheap at all as he will cost at least 9 million euros.

Inter to save eight million in wages in Belfodil deal

As reported by Sky Sport 24, Inter have closed the deal for Ishak Belfodil from Parma. The basis of this agreement is 10 million for half of the player, Cassano and Silvestre are also going the other way on loan (for the latter, there is a right to purchase whereas it is just a straight loan for Cassano). Yes, Inter are paying 10 million for half of Belfodil but will save about 8 million in wages from Cassano and Silvestre. This deal, therefore, is positive for the budget of Inter.

GDS – Inter set to sign Capello

The Nerazzurri are ready to sign a talented 17 year-old midfielder of Bologna. This was announced by the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Rumors on negotiations with Inter for Alessandro Capello have been confirmed. Capello is a talented 17 year old attacking midfielder who scored 12 goals this year for the red and blue youth team. Next season, he will put all his class at the service of Inter’s youth team. In return from Milan arrive 2.5 million euros and perhaps even the Danish midfielder Patrick Olsen (born in 1994), but there is still no agreement between the two companies on the player to be exchanged by Inter. Bologna have done this to avoid another Borini style deal in 2007, in which the young striker went to Chelsea at no cost. This deal is needed to give Bologna a little breathing room financially.”

Genoa not giving up on Cassano and willing to offer more money

Inter have found an agreement with Parma for Belfodil and now the words belong to the players. Here is the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio:

“There is also the straight loan of Antonio Cassano (no right or obligation to sign) but also on the Bari there is also Genoa which is not giving up. Preziosi wants Cassano and would offer him a higher wage. The player will decide together with his agent and wants to evaluate these hypotheses carefully.”

Moratti: “I like Belfodil a lot. Could be the new Benzema”

“He is a player that we are negotiating for…” The confirmation has come from Massimo Moratti as he was leaving Saras after a meeting with Piero Ausilio, Roberto Samaden and Pierluigi Casiraghi. Inter and Parma have started negotiation (and according to Sky, agreement has been reached) that could lead Ishak Belfodil to Inter and Antonio Cassano the other way.

“I really like Belfodil and he could be the new Benzema. Yes, there is negotiation with Parma but there is no agreement yet so we will see. Is Cassano leaving the club? It is a possibility,” said Moratti.

GdS – Cassano for Belfodil, smart (business) move by Inter

In the end, Antonio Cassano seems destined to leave Inter to make room for Ishak Belfodil. According to Carlo Laudisa, this is an important operation for the Nerazzurri.

“I believe that Walter Mazzarri would have kept Cassano had these opportunities not presented themselves. There is the talent of Belfodil but let’s not forget that Inter would be freed from two wages that are rather expensive. Now it is up to Parma to find contractual agreement with the players but I think this is a smart move by Inter because it lightens up the budget. But I am expecting more outgoing transfer from Inter however.”

Giulio Donati sold to Bayer Leverkusen for three million

Well that was quick. After a positive U-21 Euro tournament, Giulio Donati has been sold to Bayer Leverkusen according to Sky Sport. The blitz in Milan by sporting director Voeller has closed the operation by sending three million to Inter. The Italian full back is ready for a new challenge in Bundesliga.

Silvestre: “I want to stay at Inter”

Matias Silvestre only wants Inter. The Argentinian is owned by Palermo but has been on loan at Inter since the start of the 2012-2013 season. However, with below par performances, his name has been linked to a move away from this club. The latest rumor has him included in the deal for Parma forward Ishak Belfodil but the Silvestre already has clear idea: he wants to stay at Inter.

“Parma on me? I have a contract with Inter and I intend to honor it until the end. I want to redeem myself next season and my will is to do it with the shirt of Inter,” said Silvestre to Tutto Mercato Web.

Mundo Deportivo – Inter still tracking Ibrahim Afellay

Many players are leaving Barcelona including the likes of Victor Valdres, Thiago Alcantara, Bojan and Ibrahim Afellay. According to Mundo Deportivo, it is the Dutch winger/trequartista that still remains a transfer target of Inter. Afellay is coming back to the Spanish champions after a season on loan at Schalke and if Inter decide to come forward, the Nerazzurri will have to deal with competition from Tottenham and Lazio. Spurs, in particular, are ready to offer 9 million euros according to the Catalan newspaper.

Agent: “Pinilla is staying at Cagliari”

Speaking to CalcioNews24, Francesco Caliandro, agent of Mauricio Pinilla, rejects any possibility of seeing his client going to Inter this summer. ”Pinilla is a player of Cagliari and will continue to be so. There is nothing more to add.”

With the arrival of Ishak Belfodil, it is unknown whether or not Inter would be looking for another forward for next season.

Belfodil and Inter, still missing the yes from Cassano

Ishak Belfodil to Inter. This is being reported by many sources in Italy such as Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport however, the crucial yes of Antonio Cassano is still missing. Both Inter and Parma have come to an agreement to send Cassano to Parma and Ishak Belfodil the other way but there is no agreement on the personal terms yet.

Parma hoping to have Cassano’s yes by Monday

Cassano and Silvestre to Parma, Belfodil to Inter, this is being defined at this time. The last obstable seems to be the desire of Antonio Cassano and according to Sky reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, there is optimism that Cassano would say yes to Parma, the yes that hopefully can arrived by Monday. Furthermore, according to report, Parma will pay all the wages of Antonio Cassano and also Matias Silvestre.

CASSA-NO TO LEAVE INTER (IN AN EXCHANGE WITH PARMA), THERE’S BELFODIL FOR MAZZARRI

Transfer mareket – Inter are making move to renew its attack.
FantAntonio is surely leaving: Donadoni awaits.
Moratti welcomes the great forward: “I hope he is our Benzema.”

GOODBYE CASSANO. BELFODIL TO INTER

FantAntonio is negotiating to say yes to Parma. Moratti: “Here is the new Benzema.”
Half of the Frenchman is valued at 10 million. Silvestre is also in the deal but there is Genoa who is tempting the Barese (Cassano).

Milan – “I really like Belfodil. Could he really be the new Benzema? I hope so, I hope so… It is clear that we are signing him because he is a very strong player.” And that is how Inter president Massimo Moratti welcomes the next signing of Inter in Ishak Belfodil after a long day of negotiation between Inter and Parma. Negotiation started quietly on Monday evening at a dinner between two managements and talks continued Tuesday with the presence of Parma director Pietro Leonardi in the headquarters of Inter. This deal is well thought out with the backing not only of the two clubs but also Mazzarri and Donadoni. The French-Algerian forward would go to Inter outright while Antonio Cassano would serve Donadoni despite the fact that Genoa continue to resist for the Italian. “Cassano is leaving? We’ll see. Of course we are planning for the future: Icardi and Belfodil are already strong players now,” said Moratti.

Screen-Shot-2013-06-18-at-9.42.21-PM.png

Silvestre resists In short, these are important steps to build a new Inter which have passed the words to the players and their representatives to complete the deal. In particular, details are being processed by FantAntonio as well as his agent Giuseppe Bozzo seeing how Parma are ready to offer a three-year contract. There is also the situation of Matias Silvestre who said to Tutto Mercato Web that “I want to stay at Inter” although between Parma and Genoa, the Argentinian prefers the latter. “It would be a way for Silvestre to play with continuity,” said Moratti. If this solution fails to materialized, watch out for two other alternatives in Mariga and Jonathan.

Responsible for Inter Belfodil negotiation was quickly wrapped up is a clear sign of the new enthusiasm of Moratti. “I do not know if we would win the Scudetto but certainly the signings that we have made so far ar important ones. Belfodil is a big name. Football is made of opportunity, certain moments and situations are created and you must step in to make it work. This is the freedom of being president. Does this deal signify that I am back leading after many voices of new investors? I am responsible for Inter and so I try to do what is good for this club. This is certainly a sign of responbitility. Anything news regarding Thohir? No, nothing.”

TMW – Krhin, co-ownership renewed

The official announcement is expected this afternoon as Bologna and Inter renewed the co-ownership of Rene Krhin, until 2016. There will be a meeting at some point today to settle the final details of the contract then everything is going to be official.

OFFICIAL: Handanovic 100% owned by Inter, Faraoni to Udinese

Udinese have officially announced on their website that the co-ownership of Samir Handanovic has been resolved in favor of Inter. Which means that the Slovenian goalkeeper is now 100% an Inter player. In related news, Marco Davide Faraoni is now owned solely by the Bianconeri. Let’s recall that the Italian defender was sent to the Stadio Friuli last summer as part of Handanovic agreement.

Belfodil to arrive at Inter regardless of Cassano and Silvestre’s decision

The arrival of Ishak Belfodil does not relate to the decisions of Antonio Cassano and Matias Silvestre. Even if both say no to Parma, the French forward would still come to Inter. As explained by Sky, both clubs already have an agreement in principle in all cases possible for the forward. Alternative solutions are there but the main one is 10 million and loans of Cassano and Silvestre for half of the player.

Agent confirms negotiation with Inter for Belfodil

George Atangana, agent of current Parma forward Ishak Belfodil, speaks to Matteo Barzaghi on Sky Sport 24 on the operation to bring his client to the Nerazzurri this summer.

“We are negotiating. Belfodil is on vacation at this moment in Paris and he would be very happy to come to Inter which is a great club but everything is not done yet. We are talking and will make some statements very soon.”

On the tandem with Mauro Icardi. “They are two great players but still need to mature. However, Belfodil is not an Inter player yet. Comparison with Benzema? Benzema is Benzema, Belfodil is Belfodil. The player’s qualities can be seen by everyone. Ten million for half? This is a matter between two clubs.”

Chivu: “Still have a contract with Inter.” But the Nerazzurri…

There was a surprise visit to Inter headquarters by Cristian Chivu. Now that the signing of Ishak Belfodil is almost completed, Inter have met the Romanian defender to talk about his future. As the Romanian was leaving this morning, he just had a very brief comment to Sky reporter Matteo Barzaghi: “I have a contract with Inter and it is still valid for another year.”

As explained by Sky Sport, Inter have told Chivu that he is no longer in the club’s plans and given the desire to cut down squad size as well as wages, the next few victimes could be Gargano, Cassano and Silvestre.

Inter and Chivu talking contract termination

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, Cristian Chivu and Inter are discussing the possibility of terminating the player’s current contract with the club. Another meeting will probably needed to clarify the situation and then we’ll see if Chivu is really leaving the club thanks to contract termination.

Parma pushing for Cassano with a phone call from Donadoni

Good relationship and possible future together. As reported by Sky, Roberto Donadoni has called Antonio Cassano and Parma are pressing to get the yes from the Inter forward to beat out competition from Genoa. We are now waiting for the response of FantAntonio to that offer of three-year contract.

Sky – Silvestre not convinced of going to Parma

Matias Sivestre is not convinced of going to Parma. The Inter defender, which is included in Belfodil deal together with Cassano, hopes to go to a more prestigious club in Italy or abroad. Parma will continue its mission to convince the ARgentinian defender in the next few days. Silvestre reflects, Parma await.

Sky – Branca met with Nocerino’s agent, swap with Alvarez on the horizon?

An idea that was born at lunch. As informed by Sky, there was a meeting between Marco Branca and Alessandro Moggi, agent of Antonio Nocerino, yesterday. From there, a new hypothesis has been established which is a possible Alvarez-Nocerino exchange with Milan. This is just an idea right now, one that is very complicated to achieve.

Here is how Inter save 16 million euros

The saving mission continues. This policy of cutting costs has been going on at Inter for the last few seasons and it is not going to stop anytime soon. Here are just some examples. The lack of signing Gargano for next season (5 million saved), the sale of Donati to Leverkusen for 2.5 million euros, the probable departures of Stankovic (3 million in salary), Chivu (1.2), Cassano (2.5) and Silvestre (1.7). That is how Inter are working on building the financial foundation for future signings.

Mazzarri wants Danilo as three-man defense specialist

There is Danilo Larangeira of Udinese for the Inter defense. For the Brazilian defender, there was a meeting yesterday afternoon which has confirmed the rumor of a few days ago. Inter are really interested in the central defender because the will of Walter Mazzarri is to use him as a specialist in his three-man defense.

Silvestre and Cassano still need to be convinced to choose Parma

There is no update in regards to the deal that could bring to Inter Ishak Belfodil. As widely reported a few days ago, Inter and Parma have reached an agreement for the player but now it is up to both clubs, specially Parma, to convince Antonio Cassano and Matias Silvestre to give the final consent to this deal. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, both players are in need a bit more time to be 100% certain in choosing Parma as their next destination. Genoa, the third wheel in this deal, continue pushing to lure FantAntonio to accept them instead.

Chivu refused contract termination proposed by Inter

Inter are ready to let go of their central defender Cristian Chivu. The Romanian still has one more year left in his contract but the Nerazzurri have proposed the player a contract termination. Chivu has put his foot down and refused while the Romanian media is already saying that Chivu will go to Steaau Bucharest next season. However, there have been no conformations on this rumor according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Agreement close for Danilo Larangeira: 6 million plus half of Benassi

Walter Mazzarri is a known admirer of Danilo Larangeira as the Inter coach already wanted the defender during his time at Napoli. Danilo has a pretty high price tag according to Inter (7-8 million) but the meeting yesterday with the player’s agent was needed to find an alternative solution. The Nerazzurri are considering adding a young player in order to lower the demand of Udinese. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the two candidates are Marco Benassi and Samuele Longo but it seems that the former is the favorite to be included in this deal. With an offer of six million plus half of Benassi, this deal could very well be heading towards the finish line.

Morgan De Sanctis, latest name that could potentially replace Handanovic

Despite the assurances from Massimo Moratti and his agent, the future of Samir Handanovic at Inter remains in balance. According to Sport Mediaset, the Slovenian goalkeeper continues to be in sights of Barcelona which, however, have not made a concrete offer to Inter. If it was to arrive, the club in Corso Vittorio Emanuele would already have a replacement in mind and it is Napoli 36 year-old goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis.

TS – Samir Handanovic going to Barcelona

Turin daily newspaper Tuttosport ensures that Inter are working on the sale of Samir Handanovic with this headline on its front page of Thursday edition: “Inter in Spain to sell Handanovic.”

The paper continues with quote like “the goalkeeper is going to Barcelona” but there is no confirmation as of this moment. The only thing certain is that the player is now 100% Inter player after agreement reached with Udinese for the other half of the Slovenian.

Inter to meet agent of Isla and Nainggolan very soon

“On the agenda of Inter, there will be two meetings very soon: one with the agent of Nainggolan and the other is with that of Isla. For the latter, Udinese and Juventus must decide because the player’s will is to go to Inter and he already feels like an Inter player.”

This was revealed by the Gazzetta dello Sport. Inter are trying to reinforce its midfield and wing position. Now, we are just going to have to wait and see.

Either Zuniga or Kolarov to replace Pereira at Inter?

Zuniga and Kolarov are potential candidates to replace Pereira at Inter. This is the latest idea that the Nerazzurri have regarding its transfer market strategies.

“It is true that Inter have Nagatomo and Pereira on the left side but the second could really leave the club as the former coach of Napoli continues to desire his former player in Juan Camilo Zuniga.”

In regards to Aleksandar Kolarov, “Beppe Bozzo could bring the player to Juventus. Conte wants a winger and Marotta has decided to oblige even though that the Serbian of City costs a lot of money. The Bianconeri are also interested in Zuniga but it is not easy to convince De Laurentiis to lower demand. Both Kolarov and Zuniga are liked at Inter and the two clubs could avoid ward by splitting their goals.”

Branca and Ausilio Hunt Down After Tassi

Sadly, this is just about all I could come up with since there are just about as many high-quality photos of him as there are bumper stickers on a Ferrari 458 Spider (cara mia! Come sei bella… ti voglio bene).

None of that matters though. One of the most difficult issues to resolve at the moment deals with him. You see… the 1995-born midfielder is co-owned with Brescia, where he dove into professional football at the Serie B level. He now plays for the Nerazzurri in Primavera, or the fine geezers over at Viareggio. The Inter management’s clown shoes and spinning bow-ties decided to snatch half of his card some two years ago, and now… the redemption for the remaining half of Tassi is fixed at roughly €2M. Reports in the paper this morning showed that it’s going to be difficult to renew the co-ownership as Brescia regards him very highly and is interested in monetizing profitably from this process.

Today, Marco Branca ran off to hold a meeting with the Brescia administration. What’s the update? After pulling aside the whimsy, whacky nitty-gritty fake speculations, it looks like talks are emerging that both parties will continue the co-ownership for another year further with the proposed option of withdrawing ownership at the end of 2014 (that would be at the discretion of, uh, Inter).

Now here’s a challenge! Tassi will likely stay with Inter Primavera for the continuing year, although this isn’t official yet. Branca: “Your move, Serie B squiffies.”

Parma is About to #GetLucky

See that Parma F.C. emblem to the lower-left of Cassano in the image above? Yeah… things are about to get down.

Alfredo Pedullà, who you may have come to know as a remarkably accurate analyst, dropped an absolute bomb of a mention on his own web site about the Antonio Cassano situation. He ensured that Fantantonio has given his complete ‘a-okay’ to Parma. A big yes.

He enhances further to allude that, “Antonio Cassano has no doubts: Parma is on his mind. There was much communication within the mere moments of the negotiation and his response was with true membership. He proceeded with enthusiasm to be able to help Roberto Donadoni, the very coach who he considers his ‘older brother.’ Mind you, neither one would have dared to attempt a strike against the trust and affection they have towards a professional climate and the possibility of a continued National Team appearance for Cassano. He did not need to pause for reflection on the decision, nor did he care one bit to let the media know. Didn’t answer ‘em. He simply rather expects that his agent, Beppe Bozzo, will put the final details of the contract within reach, in place. There is some further evidence on the other side of the story: the agent of Ishak Belfodil has been given the ‘go-ahead’ to engage and reach a deeper agreement with Inter because the deal is now dispatched. Donadoni just cannot wait to hug Cassano.”

And so, there you have it, folks. A warm welcome with open arms. So it looks like Parma isn’t the only one who’s up all night to get lucky. #Cassano #RandomAccessMemories #OkayThisIsn’tInstagramSoStopIt

Isla: “I am talking with Inter. My future? I just want to play”

New Mauricio Isla’s statements coming from Chile about his future. The winger is the top transfer target for the right wing of Inter. Yesterday, Juve formalized the renewal of co-ownership of Isla with Udinese, something that the player has not been informed about.

“I have not had any communication from Juve. I know nothing of this agreement but the most important thing for me now is to know where I am going to play next year because I want to go back to being the same player as you had seen in Udine.”

Then confirms once again contacts with Inter.

“Yes, we are talking with them. I do not know if it would be a loan or something. However, I want to play whether it is at Inter, Juve or Napoli. I want to play with continuity to get in form for the national team as well.”

Agent: “Chivu will stay at Inter and this is certain”

The voices that see Cristian Chivu leaving Inter are all false, at least this is according to Ioan Becali, agent of the Romanian together with his brother Victor.

“Contract termination? There is nothing true about this. I do not understand why people keep talking about the future of Cristian,” the agent spoke to IlSussidiario.net.

“Steaua Bucharest? It would be easier for he and I to go visit Mars. It is false, he does not want to leave Inter and has another year in his contract. Surely, he will stay in the city of Milan. He will stay here until the end of his contract and if he is not in the plans of Mazzarri, that would be no problem. If he is able to make 50% of the matches and there will be an option to renew for another season. Otherwise, we will see. He could be a coach or continue playing somewhere else.”

Sky – Livorno want Bardi and Duncan on loan

New contact between Inter and Livorno. Sporting director Signorelli had a meeting with Nerazzurri directors according to Sky Sport: the Amaranti have asked for Alfred Duncan as well as Francesco Bardi on loan for next season. Keep in mind that both have just come back to Inter after loan period at Livorno and Novara. And now it is up to Inter to decide.

Ricky Likes Liverani

Starstruck…

It’s official: Love at first sight, until that is, if you can get past the horrendous Photoshop skills. #UMadBro

Touché in this latest spat between the two parties. Some major taunting and serious trolling going on right here. If you didn’t know it, Fabio Liverani is the current coach of Genoa.

According to GazSportiva, there is certainly the possible sale of Ricardo Alvarez to the Ligurians (not the other Ligurians, Sampdoria! We’re still talking about Genoa here.) It could make way to a slew of players for Inter in the ongoing agreements… including the likes of Antonelli, Gila, Radja, and Kucka. In the meantime during which we gaze away and prepare for the meeting and speeches between the Genoans and Inter, Ricky has mentioned that he would like working with Liverani. Um… actually, what he really said is, simply put, that he likes Liverani. No idea what this means. It could be a friendship, a colleague, an acquaintance of some sort, or just the mere thought of cooperation with the Genoan coach.

Luca Antonelli’s evaluation is steep. Not a bargain at all at around €10M, and it is seemingly clear that Inter is interested to bring him on-board using the sale of Ricky and even Matias Silvestre. Silvestre is in ‘stand-by’ mode… meaning that terms are still being worked out. Tally-ho, Tally-ho!

Duncan: “Sunderland Want Me”

Oh, the frenzy! Oh, it’s everywhere. Is this love that I’m feeling?

It’s pretty evident that the Cupid has come pretty early this year (uh, actually, Valentine’s Day was four months ago).

Alfred Duncan takes to the charming voice to call on his outlook. Being courted with Sunderland has its fair share of effects. The Inter midfielder has long been amongst the interests of the Black Cats and has now confirmed this ordeal and how he isn’t ashamed to say that he is touched by the link: “I am truly honored by the interest of Sunderland. I am aware that the scouts of Sunderland have followed me for too long. Yet to be honest, nothing is done yet. Everything for my future is decided by Inter, whether there is a final sale or not.”

Duncan also spoke further about technical characteristics: “The fans tend to compare me to Essien, and I would love to have a career that’ll be only half as good as his was. He’s superb… the best midfielder of all-time in Ghana. Playing the box-to-box chemistry, he knows how to pertain to his physiques and build the game to make life hard for his opponents. The timing of his moves are great. A grand legend.”

TS – Guarin ready to leave Inter… under one condition

According to Tuttosport, Guarin would be willing to leave the club under one condition: the Colombian would only leave for another big club, one that is ready to win right away. If this condition is confirmed, then the solution of Anzhi perhaps is out of the window.

Sky – Silvestre does not want to go to Parma but…

New updates from Sky Sport 24 regarding negotiations that would bring Ishak Belfodil from Parma to Inter. According to a report earlier today, Matias Silvestre does not want to become a Parma player as the player is not little convinced of Parma as his future club. However, the most important “yes” is that of Antonio Cassano and if the Italian forward were to say yes to Parma in the next few days, this deal will go through and everything will be official.

Transfer and contract details for Ishak Belfodil: three-year deal, 800 thousand per

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Antonio Cassano has practically already said yes to Parma. Different story for Matias Silvestre as the ARgentinian has said no to a possible transfer despite the fact that Donadoni had called to change his mind.

Meanwhile, Ishak Belfodil has begun to negotiate his contract with Inter and we are moving towards an agreement of three years, 800 thousand plus bonus per. This operation will cost about 6 million plus loans of Cassano and Silvestre and other 2-3 million which will arrive from termination of co-ownership deals for players like Diego Mella, Jacopo Galimberti, Lorenzo Crisetig, Nwanko Obiora and Yao Guy Eloge Koffi.

Belfodil will come to the city of Milan soon for a physical as his arrival is not related to the decision of Cassano and Silvestre because one way or the other, the former Bologna forward will wear black and blue next season.

20 co-ownership deals finalized

MILAN – The section of the 2013 summer transfer window where clubs can complete co-ownership deals closed today. Officials from FC Internazionale were involved in the following 20 deals:

Inter.it provides the comprehensive list below: player by player (the role of the player appears within the brackets):

Davide Faraoni (defender) co-ownership Udinese-Inter: resolved in favour of Udinese

Speaking to Sky Sports, AC Milan CEO, Adriano Galliani comments on the Alvarez-Nocerino exchange, the rumor that has been going around for the last 24 hours: “I have read about it in the newspapers, but I can assure you that I have not had any contact with Inter.”

Inter met with Pinilla’s agents

From the studios of Sky Sport, transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reveals a meeting between Inter and Mauricio Pinilla’s agents at headquarters today.

“As they are waiting to see how the situation of Ishak Belfodil will end, Inter also think about the future. Today, the Nerazzurri have met with the agents of Mauricio Pinilla. This discussion was probably for other younger players but do not rule out possible talk for the Cagliari forward.”

Juventus director Marotta: “Yes, Inter are following Isla”

Speaking to Sky Sport, Juventus general director Beppe Marotta has confirmed Inter interest on Chilean and Juventus winger Mauricio Isla.

“Yes, it is true that Inter are following him. We will evaluate everything in the coming weeks. However, there is not only Inter, the player is being followed by many other big clubs.”

Mazzarri wants two wingers in Isla and Kolarov

Inter are just a few steps away from signing Ishak Belfodil with Cassano and Silvestre going the other way to Parma. The next two objectives are a winger and a midfielder and to give us the latest update on this front, here is Alfredo Pedulla on his website:

“And now, Mazzarri is waiting for three more essential signings: one midfielder (priority is Nainggolan) and two wingers. For the latter, there are two clear names: Kolarov on the left and Isla on the right. The situation of Kolarov will be talked about in the next few weeks and it is ready to materialize. Even more so now that agent Giuseppe Bozzo, also agent of Mazzarri, will be Kolarov’s representative in Italy. Juventus like Kolarov quite a bit but Mazzarri is making a strong push for the City player.”

Bardi set to return to Livorno on loan for next season

Francesco Bardi could very well return to Livorno. According to a Sky Sport report, the meeting yesterday between Signorelli, Capozucca and the Inter management went pretty well and there is the will on both sides to do a loan operation.

Regarding Duncan, Inter still want to reflect and then decide because there are big offers that need to be evaluated But for the young Italian goalkeeper, his future says Livorno.

Donati in Leverkusen, ready to sign for Bayer

A new adventure is about to begin in Bundesliga for young Giulio Donati. According to reports from Express.de, the product of Inter’s primavera and a revelation in the last European Under-21 tournament, is already in Leverkusen where soon he will have a medical for Bayer Leverkusen. After the usual procedures, the Tuscan full back will put pen to paper on a deal running until 2017 with the German club. He will take the place of departing Spaniard Dani Carvajal who returns to Real Madrid.

Pedulla: “There is a pact between Inter and Juve”

According to the well known transfer expert, Alfredo Pedulla, there is a pact between Inter and Juve on the market, regarding their common targets: “The Nerazzurri would leave Zuniga to Juventus, not hampering their negotiations with Napoli, and in return, Juve could give Inter Isla and not interfere in the Kolarov deal.”

Laudisa: “Inter insists on Nocerino”

La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Carlo Laudisa updates on Inter’s market moves: “Roma are a step away from signing Radja Nainggolan, overtaking Inter who are now insisting on Nocerino.”

The hottest rumor recently was a possible exchange with Milan for Nocerino where Inter would give the Rossoneri Argentinian midfielder Ricardo Alvarez. Despite strong rumors, Milan director Adriano Galliani has denied having any contact with the Nerazzurri.

Inter want Marco Sau, Cagliari to ask for 30 million with Nainggolan?

According to Tuttosport, Inter are not letting go of Mauricio Pinilla but the Nerazzurri would love to have another attacking players of Cagliari. Ibarbo was the main target at the time of Stramaccioni for his ability to play as a winger but now he is no longer on the top of the list. Inter, instead, are really interested in Marco Sau and on whom, Branca spoke to Cellino last week as well. The Cagliari president considers the talented forward who had a very good last season unsellable but could ask for a total of 30 million for him together with Nainggolan. As a result of this outrageous demand, it is much easier to get Pinilla.

OFFICIAL: Donati completes move to Bayer Leverkusen

Giulio Donati is a player of Bayer Leverkusen and thanks to ending up in their place last season, they have qualified for the Champions League. The official news came a few moments ago on the German club’s website and now the 1990-born full back is now owned by Bayer outright. Donati is the first player that has made his transfer from Serie B to a Champions League club.

TS – Cassano to accept Parma as next club

According to Tuttosport, the future of Antonio Cassano has already been defined. The Bari born forward has decided to accept the proposal of Parma as part of the deal to bring Ishak Belfodil to Inter this summer. After a little bit of convincing, FantAntonio seems to be willing to wear the Parma shirt next season where he would sign a three-year deal with the club.

Tuttosport – Silvestre said no to Parma, wants a top club

According to Tuttosport, negotiation for Belfodil is almost concluded. However, if Cassano seems to have already accepted Parma as his next destination, Silvestre remains unconvinced. However, Silvestre’s rejection is not going to collapse this deal because the Nerazzurri would increase cash offer or include another player. The feeling is that the ARgentinian defender is waiting for a top club which could be Milan.

The Rossoneri prefer Ranocchia who has a valuation of 18 million euros. There is also a foreign solution for Silvestre called Atletico Madrid thanks to a good relationship between him and his former coach at Catania Diego Simeone.

De Sanctis-Inter, Benitez: “No, he’s staying”

During Napoli’s press conference today, Rafa Benitez denied the possible departure of Morgan De Sanctis as the goalkeeper has been mentioned in the news as Inter replacement for Samir Handanovic who could leave the Nerazzurri with the right offer: “De Sanctis will 100% be our goalkeeper next season, but another keeper might be bought in order to help him improve.”

Parma director: “Cassano to Parma at 90%”

In a very brief chat with Social Football, Pietro Leonardi, sporting director of Parma, comments on the situation related to the future of Antonio Cassano. ”I think that at 90% this deal will be done. Myself at Inter? It is difficult to fit in a large organization like that of Inter,” said the director.

It has been widely reported that Cassano is expected to agree to join the Ducali for next season.

Agent: “Longo not going to Parma for Belfodil”

Interviewed by Parma Today, Samuele Longo’s agent Renzo Contratto discusses the rumor of his client to be included in Belfodil deal. ”There is no truth in what has been said recently. Longo will not be included in the deal Parma and Inter with Cassano for Belfodil,” said agent.

Agent: “Three big foreign clubs want Bardi”

He was the best on the field despite a 4-2 defeat against Spain in the U-21 European championship final. Francesco Bardi has everything to make it in football “so much so that De Gea gave him compliments and Castellini, Italian athletic trainer, sad that he is a true champion.” The words of Vincenzo Rispoli, agent of the goalkeeper, in an exclusive interview with Tutto Mercato Web.

Let’s start with this: Francesco Bardi is owned by Inter.

“After a fantastic Euro, he is being looked at by everyone. There are three important clubs abroad who saw the player in action in Israel.”

What is next to be done in the summer?

“We will make an intelligent decision for next year.”

So much will depend on Inter…

“Inter will not want to lose him but if he is in a co-ownership deal, there is a risk that will happen. Now Bardi will make a good decision for his future.”

Agent: “Chivu will retire next season. If Inter don’t want him…”

Victor Becali gives an important announcement about the future of Crisitan Chivu. The agent has announced to DigiSport that the player will retire after next season. At the same time, Becali says that if Inter want to get rid of Chivu, the defender will surely find another club.

“If Inter don’t want him anymore he will surely find another solution this season. What certain is that next year, Chivu will retire. This decision came after a long period of reflection. However, he hopes and wants to play for Inter in this upcoming season. We will see Walter Mazzarri the next few days to clarify his position.”

Genoa coach given consent to Cassano’s arrival

The window to close various co-ownership deals has now closed and now teams can continue hunting down new reinforcements for next season and Genoa are no different. As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoblu are talking with Roma for Marco Borriello but the door to welcome Antonio Cassano remains wide open. The club’s new coach Fabio Liverani has given his consent for the arrival of the Inter forward whose reply is expected at the end of the week.

Sky – Kolarov is difficult but with Beppe Bozzo…

Two Italian clubs in Inter and Juventus are really interested in Manchester City winger Aleksandar Kolarov. However, according to Lucha Marchetti of Sky Sport, this transfer target remains difficult because of the transfer fee as well as salary.

“Inter and Juventus are hoping that they can take advantage of the player’s new agent in Italy Beppe Bozzo who has excellent relationships with both clubs. This might make negotiation a bit easier but it still pretty much remains complicated.”

Corinthians director: “Yes, we’re looking to replace Paulinho”

There is no more doubt: Corinthians have decided to sell Paulinho and will evaluate offers coming from Europe. In addition to Inter, there are clubs like Roma, Tottenham and Monaco. ”Yes, we have been preparing for some time now to find a replacement for him,” confirmed by the Corinthians director Duilio Monteiro Alves.

Sky – Cassano closer to Parma

According to Sky Sport, Cassano would love to return to Genoa because of the wife’s influence but the contact with Parma coach Donadoni may have been decisive. The two appreciate and have known each other since their time together with the Italian national team. Parma are very confident that this deal will come through.

Sky – Ranocchia in Mazzarri’s plan, likely to stay

According to Sky Sport 24, Andrea Ranocchia should continue his adventure at Inter next season. The former defender of Genoa is liked by many clubs like Juventus and Manchester united but it seems that he is a part of Walter Mazzarri’s plan for at least another year.

Caldirola to follow Donati to Germany?

Giulio Donati is now officially Bayer Leverkusen player perhaps soon, Luca Caldirola may very well reach him soon. As revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the captain of the U-21 Italian nationalteam has received a loan offer with right to purchase from Werder Bremen. Inter are considering this option and the chances of Caldirola following Donati to Bundesliga are concrete.

No Parma for Silvestre? Alternatives are Longo and Mariga

Matias Silvestre does not want to play for Parma next season. However, alternatives are ready if the Argentinian continues to reject the Ducali as his next destination.

“Matias Silvestre has not accepted the proposal from Parma. The player wants to play for his chance at Inter with Mazzarri. Alternatives could be Mariga and Longo,” said Gianluca Di Marzio.

Paulinho and Nainggolan to Tottenham and Roma, Inter now look at Hernanes

According to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have set sights on the Brazilian midfielder of Lazio Hernanes. The reason is because the club’s top two targets for the midfield are heading somewhere else with Paulinho going to Tottenham while Roma are considered to be the favorite to sign Cagliari midfielder Nainggolan.

There is no confirmation on this rumor but one thing is certain: getting Hernanes would be multiple times more difficult with high price tag and with Lotito as Lazio president.

Sport Mediaset – Ranocchia to Roma, Pjanic to Inter

New scenario involves Inter and Roma. According to Sport Mediaset, the Giallorossi and Nerazzurri are in talks to do an incredible exchange where to Roma would be Andrea Ranocchia and Inter would get Miralem Pjanic in return. There is no confirmation on this rumor right at this moment however.

Blick – Inter, radar on Schar

Inter have set eyes to Switzerland. According to Blick, Walter Mazzarri is closely following 21 year-old Basel defender, Fabian Schar, who could be an addition to the Nerazzurri’s defensive line. There are many defenders that have been linked to Inter so far this transfer season but the Inter coach will monitor closely these players as Mazzarri wants the best fit for his three-man defense next season.

GdS – Belfodil will become Inter player regardless of Cassano’s decision

Ishak Belfodil is getting more closer to Inter. The French forward, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, will arrive regardless of Antonio Cassano’s decision. For the paper, Genoa continue to temp the Bari player away from Parma and tomorrow, there should be a meeting between player and his agent Giuseppe Bozzo. Then and only then, a decision will arrive but it will not put at risk the transfer of Belfodil to the black and blue side of Milan.

Saga (almost) over, Paulinho heading to Tottenham

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho, a long time target of Inter, is almost a player of Tottenham. To confirm negotiations with the club in London, Edu Gaspar, the Brazilian club’s sporting director has a brief statement to say.

“Negotiation is well underway and we have agreed on certain points but we cannot say that it is done. Let’s say that we are on good terms,” said Gaspar.

Inter to find Hernanes fund by selling Guarin? PSG also interested

According to Tuttosport, Inter have in mind to acquire Lazio midfielder Hernanes in order to improve its quality in the midfield. To find necessary fund for this purchase, the club in Milan would like to sell Guarin at a certain figure. The contract of Hernanes expires in 2015 and the Brazilian has no intention to renew and therefore, Lotito now could sell his player this summer to raise a considerable sum.

The biggest problem is perhaps not Lotito but the fact that Paris Saint Germain are also on the Brazilian and have shown concrete interest in the last few weeks. The operation is therefore very difficult but Inter will give it a shot.

Inter want to end relationship with Chivu and Stankovic

Dejan Stankovic and Cristian Chivu continue to be hot topic at Inter. According to the Corriere dello Sport, there are planned meetings on the agenda in the next few days with both players. Stankovic and Chivu are on the last year of their contract but Inter want to end the relationship right away. We are talking about contract termination, something that does not convince both players.

Even AS Monaco want Francesco Bardi

According to Tuttosport, Monaco are interested in Francesco Bardi, the young goalkeeper of Inter who played his last season on loan at Novara. The player’s agent, Vincenzo Rispoli, recently said a few days ago that big clubs are following the youngster and the French club is one of them. At the moment, Inter would like to keep Bardi, but Monaco are a club that can make big offer.

Inter ready to say goodbye to Stankovic, contract termination meeting this week

A lovable relationship that is finally coming to an end. Dejan Stankovic and Inter will say goodbye. According to Sky Sport 24′s Matteo Barzaghi, yesterday morning there was a meeting between the Serbian midfielder and Inter’s technical director, Marco Branca. Both parties will meet up again this week to terminate Deki’s contract.

Guarin would only leave for a top club, willing to remain at Inter

Falcao wants Guarin at Monaco but the Inter number 14 has very clear ideas about his future. According to market expert Gianluca Di Marzio from his website: “Guarin would only leave Inter in front of the proposal from a top club, which so far has not arrived. The prestige and the desire to win come before everything, thus Guarin himself will decide his future. He is ready (and willing) to stay at Inter if no big Champions League contending club makes move for him. These are the wishes of Guarin and we’re waiting for developments.”

Caldirola to be Werder Bremen player by Wednesday

Sky Sport 24 provides us with a progress report on the negotiations, now well underway, between Inter and Werder Bremen for defender Luca Caldirola. Here are the stages of the deal, explained by Matteo Barzaghi:

“There will be a meeting on Wednesday between management of Inter and Werder to close the deal for Caldirola. The amount of the sale will be around three million, similar to what Donati was sold for to Bayer Leverkusen. Negotiation is at a very advanced stage with medical examinations already established for the Under-21 defender. With the money received from this sale, Inter will try to increase their offer for Isla.”

Sky – Chivu and Stankovic to soon leave Inter

Inter have scheduled meetings with Dejan Stankovic and Cristian Chivu in order to terminate their contracts. As reported by Sky Sport 24, the Serb has also confirmed with the clubs that he has offers coming from Major League Soccer.

No discount from Basel for Dragovic, want 10 million

Inter want Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic, but the Swiss club is not going to give any discounts. As revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio on his website, the club will not accept offers that are less than 10 million euros. And now Inter – who are really interested in Dragovic – have other priorities such as Ishak Belfodil, Mauricio Isla and a midfielder.

Marca – Inter eye Kondogbia. And Sevilla…

Inter continue to monitor Sevilla midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia. As reported by Marca, the Nerazzurri remain among the contenders for the signature of the Frenchman who is due to leave his Spanish club this summer. The Andalusian club would be obliged to negotiate if they were to receive an offer of at least 8 million euros. Though, Real Madrid remain in pole position, but Kondogbia has many options and is followed by the biggest clubs in Europe including Juventus, Milan, United, Chelsea and City. Therefore, at the moment, all scenarios are possible.

GdS – Inter and Genoa will talk about Antonelli and Alvarez

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Genoa president Enrico Preziosi will no longer interfere in the Cassano-Parma deal but relations with Inter remain great. Also, both clubs could meet up again soon to talk about a possible Luca Antonelli for Ricardo Alvarez exchange.

CdS – Isla is the priority. Danilo, Rami and Paletta…

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Walter Mazzarri’s first priority is to have Mauricio Isla in his Inter team before the training camp in Pinzolo. As for their defensive line, Dragovic is Inter’s main target since Danilo is no longer convincing, also Rami and Paletta are too expensive.

Globoesporte – Paulinho to Tottenham accepted

Paulinho’s move to Tottenham is virtually done, and this was confirmed to GloboeSporte by a source from inside Corinthians. The offer accepted is 17 million euros and there are only minor details left to settle, then Brazilian international will travel to London close the deal.

Il Messaggero – Inter to offer Ranocchia for Miralem Pjanic

Inter are looking to burn Borussia Dortmund in the race for Miralem Pjanic’s signature. The German club is ready to offer 15 million euros for the Bosnian midfielder but according to reports by Il Messaggero, Inter are also thinking of the 23 year-old former Lyon player who is liked alot by Walter Mazzarri. The Nerazzurri could offer Andrea Ranocchia as a counterpart in the deal to bring the current Roma player to the city of Milan.

Meeting with Silvestre soon, alternative is Marco Andreolli

Between today and tomorrow, Branca and Ausilio will meet with agent of Matias Silvestre to understand if the Argentinian has changed his mind regarding accepting Parma as future club. This is according to the Corriere dello Sport which explains that Piertro Leonardi, Parma director, has indicated that if Silvestre continues to say no, the alternative would be Marco Andreolli.

TS – Inter want to sacrifice Guarin. Monaco, Tottenham, PSG and Anzhi…

According to Tuttosport, Inter have decided to sacrifice some players in order to finance the incoming transfers. One of those players is Fredy Guarin as Walter Mazzarri has deemed him unimportant for the midfield. To sell the Colombian midfielder, Inter are asking no less than 20 million euros. This is a big offer and only a few clubs can afford such purchase. Tottenham were well documented to be interested in the player but after the signing of Paulinho, the English club is out of the race. There is also Anzhi but Guarin does not like playing in Russia. Third is PSG. The French club is interested but we are still waiting to see what their new coach Blanc wants to do regarding transfer strategies. Monaco do not seem willing to spend big for the midfield but with the pressure from Ranieri and Falcao, perhaps things could change.

Offer from foreign club for Ranocchia

According to Tuttosport, Inter have received a new offer for defender Andrea Ranocchia. We are no longer talking about Juventus, the Turin club is more focused on Ogbonna, but a foreign club. The name has not yet ben publicly revealed but it will be released soon. The request of Inter is 18 million but the feeling is that deal could be concluded at 15.

Sport – Barcelona are back for Handanovic

Barcelona will not let go of Samir Handanovic. As reported on the front page of the newspaper ‘Sport’, he is the chose one by Tito Vilanova and his coaching staff to replace Victor Valdes and in the coming days, Barca could launch the decisive attack for the Slovenian international.

Belfodil: “Will return to Italy in couple of days. Inter? Great club with great history”

If everything goes as planned like last week, Ishak Belfodil will be one of the four main forwards for Inter in this upcoming season with Milito, Icardi and Palacio. In an interview with FC Inter News, the forward talks about his future as he is enjoying the off-season.

Ishak, where are you right now?

“I am on holiday in Dubai.”

When do you return to Italy?

“In a couple of days.”

And will you be an Inter player by mid-week?

“Parma and Inter are negotiating and everyone knows that.”

But?

“I have told my agent to only call when there is something real and I still have not received any communication.”

What do you think of Inter?

“It is a big club, one that has a great history despite the season that they just had. Who would not love to play for them?”

Do you know anyone in this Inter team?

“I only know Mudingayi because we played together in Bologna. For the rest, I know all the people at Inter even if it’s just the names.”

Sky – Inter would only sell Handanovic for 30-35 million

According to a report done by Andrea Paventi of Sky Sport 24, Inter have no intention of letting go of its number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic at a discounted price. The Nerazzurri would only let go of the Slovenian for a figure between 30-35 million euros and not 20 million according to the Spanish media which explains that Barcelona remain very interested in the service of Handanovic.

Cassano to have medical this week with Parma

The anticipation for the arrival of Antonio Cassano at Parma is at all time high. As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the Bari born player will be in the city this week to undergo a medical exam. In addition to the contractual details (there is talk of a three-year deal), there is still missing the yes from Matias Silvestre for the closing of this deal.

Sky – Guarin more likely to leave Inter than Ranocchia

The hottest names that could leave this club in the next few months are Andrea Ranocchia and Fredy Guarin. According to Sky, the most likely to leave is the Colombian midfielder.

“In his role, Mazzarri wants to try with Kovacic and this could lead to Guarin eventually be sacrificed. There is Monaco too but they have not offered an official offer,” said Paventi.

Cagliari president: “I will not sell Nainggolan”

Speaking to Radio Goal on Kiss Kiss Napoli, Cagliari president Massimo Cellino responded like so to the many rumors regarding a possible transfer of Nainggolan to Inter.

“Nainggolan and Astori? I’m sick of seeing our players getting better and then we sell them so I guess that no important players will leave the club but rather, we will reinforce,” said Cellino.

A Sigh of Relief for Caldirola

The arrival of Luca Caldirola in Werder Bremen is just a day or two away as Inter and the German club have just about agreed on nearly everything. EVERYTHING. This “EVERYTHING” includes a buyback clause that also guarantees Inter the right to repurchase the Nerazzurri defender when the right time calls for the Under-21 Captain. I know what you’re thinking… ‘a-ha! Hey-a, Branca… good-a job’ in an Italian accent. Inter managed to get the reserve option of reacquiring the player by exercising a €4.5M payment into the coffers of the Hanseatic.

Sky – Meeting Inter and Isla agent, Chilean wants only Inter. Up to both clubs to find agreement

Isla is the top transfer target of Inter and there is no longer doubt. As revealed by Silvia Vallino to Sky Sport, there was a meeting today between Inter management and the agent of Isla as all parties are negotiating the Juventus half of the Chilean.

Inter are offering five million while Juventus are asking for 7.5. The will of Isla is to play for Inter and there is already confirmation of contact between the Nerazzurri and his agent. Now, it is up to both clubs to find a common ground.

Isla’s agent confirms meeting with Marco Branca

Speaking to the microphones of Sussidiario, Claudio Vagheggi, agent of Mauricio Isla, confirms the meeting that he had today with Inter technical director Marco Branca.

“It is not said that we only discussed the Chilean’s situation but you do your own assessments,” said the agent who also looks after Udinese defender Benatia.

Tottenham fear Inter move for Paulinho

There is so much nervousness at Tottenham regarding the situation of Paulinho. This was revealed by the Telegraph, the daily newspaper that is very close to anything and everything related to Tottenham Hotspurs. The English club has the will of the player to move to London but they fear a last-minute attack by a top European club like Inter that could collapse the deal.

Schelotto: “Still have four years in contract, we must fight for Scudetto”

Speaking to Radio Sport 24, Ezequiel Schelotto discusses his future and that “I’m glad the season is finally over. It is a dream come true to wear the shirt of Inter. I have to show a lot more and still have four years in my contract. I arrived at a sensitive time and things did not go well such as injuries for example. Now we have turned the page and must fight for the Scudetto,” said the Argentinian winger.

Agent: “Inter refused five million for Mbaye, only want a loan move”

Here is the statement of Ibrahima Mbaye’s agent to Palermo 24 about the player’s future.

“Mbaye wants to play and Inter are willing to let him go on loan. My best guest is a loan move to a team that allows him to play with more continuity so that he can grow as a player. Several offers have arrived including that of Monaco for 5 million but Inter refused because they only want to loan him. I would say that he has an equal chance to play next season for clubs like Palermo, Bologna and Livorno,” said Beppe Accardi.

Bild – Inter have option to resign Caldirola

The arrival of Luca Caldirola to Werder Bremen is now a matter of days. Inter and the German club have now agreed on everything including a clause that guarantees the Italians the right to repurchase the U-21 Italian national team captain. According to Sport Bild, the fact is Inter have got the option for the player’s return in the future which can be exercised for 4.5 million.

GdS – Mazzarri wants to keep Jonathan

The Gazzetta dello Sport has a lengthy discussion regarding the wing players at Inter. According to the paper, Mazzarri already has in mind four important elements that should cover the right and left wing.

“Isla has ideal characteristics that Walter Mazzarri is thinking about. The Inter coach has two duos with Jonathan on the right and either Isla or Basta while on the left, there are Nagatomo and Pereira. It is important to recall that Mazzarri wanted Jonathan before settling for Mesto at Napoli and the coach is convinced that Jonathan should not be included in the deal for Belfodil.”

Real Madrid ready to offer 20 million for Inter target Kondogbia

Real Madrid are interested in Inter transfer target for the midfield Geoffrey Kondogbia. According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, the Spanish club is ready to make an offer.

“Kondogbia is really liked by the Inter management. Competition, however, is called Real Madrid which has prepared 20 million to secure the young Frenchman. Ancelotti has already given the go ahead to negotiate.”

Without Silvestre, Cassano-Belfodil will still go ahead

Alfredo Pedulla, a transfer market expert and a guest on Sport Italia, gives us an update on the status of negotiations to bring Belfodil to Inter.

“For Silvestre, the hope that he would accept the Gialloblu has increased. If he continues to refuse then the Cassano-Belfodil exchange remains as is. It is not said that Inter would include other player despite the fact that Parma like Mariga. The end of this operation is within 24-48 hours.”

Decisive week for Belfodil’s transfer to Inter

Parma and Inter continue to talk and this week could be the decisive week for the transfer of Ishak Belfodil to Inter coach Walter Mazzarri. As we wait for the positions of Cassano and Silvestre to resolve themselves, it is believed that Belfodil should arrive in black and blue regardless of the other two players’ outcome.

CdS – Silvestre ready to accept Parma

“Matias Silvestre will soon wear the shirt of Parma.”

To assure this is the Corriere dello Sport which explains that the Argentinian defender is “now convinced to accept the request and pressure from Parma. The formula of the transfer? Loan with right to purchase at 4 million euros.”

Sky – Inter need to make a big sale to afford Nainggolan

As reported by Andrea Paventi, signing Radja Nainggolan is not a simple task for Inter. The Belgium midfielder is being looked at even by Roma but there are other clubs who are ready to make their own move. Nainggolan costs at least 15 million euros and Inter will need to make a big sale in order to afford the player.

Michael Agazzi, low-cost option for Inter

According to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Barca are insisting on Samir Handanovic. And if the Slovenian is really going to the Spanish champions, Inter would then immediately turn to Michael Agazzi, goalkeeper of Cagliari. The Italian also has interest from Fiorentina and costs five million euros.

No offers for Ranocchia and Handanovic

As reported by a French website called Top Mercato, there are still no right offers for Andrea Ranocchia and Samir Handanovic. The two players have been heavily linked to a move away from Inter but the Nerazzurri would only allow them to leave for appropriate offers.

Now with Paulinho, Tottenham no longer interested in Guarin

With the signing of Paulinho (almost), Tottenham Hotspur are no longer interested in the service of Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin. According to Sky Sport 24 reporter Andrea Paventi, “Guarin is now more and more away from Tottenham as Spurs have definitively turned their attention to Corinthians player Paulinho.”

Sky – Bardi and Benassi very close to Livorno

From the studios of Sky Sport 24, Luca Marchetti talks about the discussion between Inter and Livorno. ”Francesco Bardi is very close to return to Livorno on loan as well as Marco Benassi who should land at the club with the same formula,” said Marchetti on the two young Inter players.

GdS – Inter and Isla reached agreement on personal terms

Mauricio Isla has moved one step closer to wearing the black and blue colors of Inter. As it has been widely reported and confirmed, Inter and the player’s agent continue to maintain contact as both parties are trying to find agreement on personal terms which according to the Gazzetta dello Sport have been reached. There was a meeting yesterday which sealed the deal and now Inter will have to keep working with Juventus for the Bianconeri half of the player.

Kolarov: “I am in contact with Conte”

Aleksandar Kolarov opens the door to a return to Italy but to Turin as opposed to Milan. Speaking to Serbian TV ArenaSport, the Manchester City player reveals that he is in contact with Juventus coach Antonio Conte.

“I am in constant contact with him, we will see what happens. I’m happy in Manchester but I want to play regularly. The salary? It is not a problem, I just want to play.”

Agent: “Manchester United? No, Guarin wants to stay at Inter”

He is one of the most popular names of the Inter squad. In Milan for over a year and a half, Fredy Guarin, however, has no intention of throwing away the Inter jersey. Today there is news of Manchester United’s interest, after Anzhi, Napoli, Roma and Tottenham. FcInterNews speaks to Marcelo Ferreyra, the Colombian’s agent, to understand what are the future intentions of the midfielder.

Ferreyra, what is the situation of Fredy?
“He wants to stay at Inter. He is happy and wants to become a champion with those colors.”

Has he heard of the interests of Manchester United, Tottenham and Anzhi?
“They are not part of our sports project.”

What is your sports project?
“We don’t want to go to other clubs. My client wants to win with Inter.”

Has Guarin already spoken with Mazzarri?
“No, not yet.”

Will he be in Milan in the next few days?
“I think so.”

The result is that the Inter wants to sell?
“No.”

The Sun – Richards To Inter, a possibility

According to the Sun, Inter are ready to make an assault on Micah Richards. The defender can play both as a center back and a wing back, but is facing competition at City from Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott and Matija Nastasic. The Nerazzurri can afford to buy him outright, but a loan deal is also possible.

TMW – Delgado signs for Inter

The only thing missing is the official announcement. The young Portuguese talent Pedro Delgado had his medical this morning in Milan and then signed a three-year contract. The 1997-born midfielder, listed as one of Portugal’s most promising talents, has signed with Inter.

Paulino signs for Inter this afternoon

Paulino de la Fuente, midfielder born in 1997 and on whom Inter have had their hands on for some time, has signed the contract that will bind him to the Nerazzurri for a few years this afternoon. After many talks, finally comes the contract that certifies the purchase of the Spanish 16 year old from Bansader.

Denis Alibec: “Bologna? I have read about that but…”

After two seasons on loan at Malines and then at Viitorul Constanța, the 1991-born Romanian striker Denis Alibec, who is owned by Inter until June 2016 returns to Inter but the youngster’s destiny seems predetermined: new loan or transfer just like for Caldirola, Donati and other Inter boys. Meanwhile, Alibec talks to FcInterNews.it about his immediate future.

Denis, are you in Romania?
“Yes, I am in my home, on holiday.”

When are you returning to Milan?
“Next Monday.”

What about your future? Are you staying at Inter or going another season on loan?
“I do not know, I am not aware of market negotiations that concern me, my agent takes care of that.”

Here in Italy there is talk of Bologna and foreign destinations for you.
“I read about Bologna from newspapers and online sites. In regards to other countries I don’t really know anything."

Sky – Offer from Russia for Ranocchia

Despite the reassurances of Inter president Massimo Moratti and coach Walter Mazzarri, the future of Andrea Ranocchia remains in balance. Now that Juventus seem to have steered towards Ogbonna, the Italian defender of Inter is now linked to Manchester United and Roma. Not only that, according to Silvia Vallini from Sky Sport that “there is an offer from Russia, but we are still at the beginning.”

Farewell for Dejan Stankovic after meeting with Marco Branca

We are moving towards the termination of Dejan Stankovic’s contract. As reported by Silvia Vallini from Sky Sport 24, a few minutes ago the player’s agent Claudio Vigorelli met Inter’s technical director, Marco Branca, to reach an agreement in order to anticipate the end of the contract in 2014, an agreement that also includes a golden handshake. The farewell of the Serbian player who arrived at Inter in January of 2004, would mean that Inter will save around 5 million gross, which could be reinvested in the market. This could only be the beginning as another player could also be heading for the door, a player who hasn’t done much for the team recently, Cristian Chivu.

Di Marzio: ‘Inter Like Taïder, But There Is Also Stuttgart’

From Sky Sport, Gianluca Di Marzio confirms the interest of Inter for Bologna midfielder Saphir Taïder. “Inter like Taider, but there is also interest from Stuttgart, and the German option seems to be the favorite at the moment.”

Chivu’s Agent: ‘His Future Is Uncertain…'

Victor Becali, Cristian Chivu’s agent, spoke to Calciomercato.it about his client’s situation.

“I don’t know if Chivu will leave Inter. He still has one year left on his contract and wants to respect it. I have not spoken with Inter and I don’t know what their position on the subject is. Meetings scheduled? We will see in the coming weeks.”

Sun – Inter Could Buy Richards Outright, If He Renews…

According to The Sun, Inter is showing strong interest in Micah Richards. The Nerazzurri are aware that next year, the defender will struggle to find a starting place at City. Although his contract will expire in 2015, City has offered him an extension. Right now Richards isn’t convinced of renewal, as he will be struggling to find playing chances, with Maicon and Zabaleta in front of him and with competition from Kompany and Nastasic. Inter is reportedly planning to buy him outright, taking advantage of the contractual situation. In the case of a renewal, a loan with an option to purchase would be more likely.

Sugoni: ‘Isla Will Be The First To Arrive…’

Alessandro Sugoni, market expert of Sky, spoke about the negotiations involving the Nerazzurri. ”For me, aside from the fact that Belfodil has practically already signed, the first to arrive will be Isla. At the end an agreement between Inter and Juve will be found.”

SM – Thohir reached agreement with Morati, official announcement soon. Wants Nainggolan…

According to reports from SportMediaset, the agreement between Thohir and Moratti is done. The only thing missing would be the official announcement. Now the bureaucratic details remain to be filed before everything is declared publicly. The last few days of apparent calm, were actually decisive. The terms of the deal and the percentage that will go to the Indonesian have not yet been disclosed. The new shareholder however will bring fresh forces from an economic point of view and will have an immediate effect on the market. Thohir expressed a desire shared by Mazzarri: Radja Nainggolan. An initial gift and a constraint advertisement for the people of Indonesia, given the origins of Cagliari midfielder. The only thing remaining is to beat the competition from Roma, but now Inter have the strength to relaunch their interest.

Agent: “Aubameyang costs too much for Inter”

The chosen one of Inter and Mazzarri is Belfodil and not Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the attacker will remain at Saint-Etienne in France or go to some other clubs, as explained by the attacker’s agent, Oscar Damiani Junior, to FCInterNews.it.

Aubameyang to Inter, is it safe to say that this chapter has closed?
“I haven’t heard from Inter for a few weeks, I think next arrival of Belfodil means my client will not be on his way there for technical and tactical reasons.”

Technical reasons?
“The relationship between the Nerazzurri and Aubameyang is excellent. Perhaps the player’s valuation is too excessive for Inter.”

How much are we talking about?
“15 million.”

Goodbye to Inter.
“Yes, we’re looking elsewhere. And if any club from Italy were to propose an offer, we’d be ready to evaluate it.”

Sky – Gargano to Turkey?

Inter have decided not to purchase him from Napoli because Walter Gargano is not part of Mazzarri’s plans. According to what Di Marzio told Sky, the midfielder could go play in Turkey. There were contacts between his agent, Alessandro Lucci, and Besiktas.

Chivu to return to Ajax?

Cristian Chivu is ready to leave Inter. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Romanian defender may terminate his contract with the club and return to Holland, where Ajax would be waiting for him.

Schelotto wants to stay at Inter

At the centre of a lot of transfer speculation, winger Ezequiel Schelotto, sought by many teams, does not seem very inclined to leave Milan after only a few months. Speaking to the microphones of “Radio Marte” the Italian-Argentine player wanted to remember the important moments of his young Nerazzurri experience and evaluate his situation.

“I will never forget the goal against Milan: I came on as a substitute and I scored the equalizer. It was an unforgettable evening. Unfortunately last year we had so many injuries, but now we have a fresh start. Mazzarri? I don’t know him yet, but at Napoli he has done very well, He has a lot of experience, we will meet in pre-season and I will make myself available. I still have 4-year contract at Inter and I’m happy: it was a dream come true and I want to stay here for a long time,“ the words of Schelotto today.

Gazzetta – Inter close Capello deal using 3 youngsters

From the online edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport, important news emerges regarding the deal for the talented Bologna player Alessandro Capello. According to the Gazzetta, “the deal is done.” “Inter will pay an estimated 2.5 million for half of the playmakers’ rights, plus the co-ownerships of Bandini (Defender), Romanò (Midfielder) and the loan of the Romanian striker Alibec,” writes the paper.

Moratti: ‘We’ll Do What’s Needed For The Team’

President Moratti took questions from the journalists waiting for him outside club headquarters after the FC Internazionale board meeting this evening.

President, how did the board meeting go?
“It was a meeting about the budget for next year, nothing out of the ordinary apart from noting that in the last two years we’ve cut our wage bill by around 80 million, and that if we’d been in the Champions League, next year would have been a year with no losses, so that’s a shame. We’re sorry we’re not in the Champions League.”

Are losses lower than what you expected?
“Yes, the costs in particular have come down a lot.”

How is the Belfodil deal going?
“I heard about it just now. It’s moving along well I think.”

There was a meeting with Stankovic today. Can you cut another big slice off the wage bill there too?
“No, it’s not about that, I think there’s another club. Stankovic made history with Inter so it’s something we’ll give careful attention to.”

Will you have to sell a big player like Guarin or Ranocchia to finance future signings?
“It’s right to think – as all clubs do – that in order to buy you also have to sell, but these things don’t always happen at the same time. We’ll try to do what’s needed to strengthen the team and also assess whether that’s a possibility for a player or two, without having to make too much of a sacrifice on the football side.”

How long will this stage of the transfer window take to complete?
“There are two months to go, July and August, before the window shuts. Anything can happen.”

Are Juventus going to be unbeatable in Italy now that they’ve got Tevez?
“Tevez is a great signing, he’s got personality and bags of experience. No one is ever unbeatable but it’s certainly a notable reinforcement for Juventus’ front line.”

You were interested in Tevez a year and a half ago. Do you have any regrets about a player that’s cost nine million?
“No, there are no regrets because Tevez’s wages are around eight million and that’s not something we’re too keen to take on.”

You called Cassano an ‘artist’. Are you sorry he’s leaving Inter?
“Definitely. He’s the sort of player we’ll always be sorry to lose because of his class and because he’s a joy to watch, like many players with unique qualities who have come and gone over the years.”

Is Isla closer to becoming an Inter player?
“We’re discussing things with Juventus, just as we’re in discussions with other clubs about players in that position. We’ll see what the best opportunity is.”

What about Thohir? Is there any news there?
“It’s going well. I think both parties are keen to do something that’s good for Inter and we’ll make sure it is good for Inter.”

Is it likely there will be some news by the end of July?
“I don’t know, I couldn’t say.”

Sunderland Echo – Duncan can leave Inter for…

Joseph Alfred Duncan is one of the main market objectives of Sunderland in addition to Paolo Di Canio. According to reports from the Sunderland Echo, they are still very interested despite the first offer made by the Black Cats being rejected by Inter. The Nerazzurri would be willing to let go of the Ghanaian, but it will take an offer of at least seven million pounds.

Sky – Meeting Between Thohir and Moratti

From the studios of Sky Sport, Gianluca Di Marzio, an expert on the transfer market talks about the possible entry of Erick Thohir at Inter.

“It looks like it can really be done. Moratti would remain President and hold a majority of the shares while Thohir would acquire approximately 30-40%. Thohir is meeting with Moratti next week to try to define the situation.”

Basel president: “Yes, we’re negotiating with Inter for Dragovic”

Fromt the pages of the Basler Zeitung comes important statement from Basel president Bernard Heusler regarding his player Aleksandar Dragovic.

“Inter are interested in concrete terms Aleksandar Dragovic and we have been negotiating for some time now,” said the president.

Just a brief but a very significant confirmation that Inter are indeed interested in the central defender.

Sky – Thohir to buy 40%, Inter no longer need to sell before buy

It seems like there has been an important breakthrough in negotiations between Moratti and Thohir for the sale of Inter shares. Alessandro Sugoni, Sky transfer expert, discusses the latest of this situation.

“Moratti will meet next week with Thohir and the Indonesian could enter into the organization by buying 40% shares of the club. With him, Inter would have fresh new capital regarding the transfer market. To date, the club has to sell before buy but with Thohir, this philosophy is not strictly necessary.”

Dragovic: “Inter? Great pleasure and I also want to play in Serie A”

At first we have the important statement of Basel president who said that “we are negotiating with Inter for Dragovic” and now we have confirmation from the 22 year-old Austrian defender to Itasportpress.

“I am doing well in Basel and I am not thinking about any other clubs at this moment. In the future, I would like to play in Serie A as well as in the Premier League. Certainly, being approached by Inter gives me great pleasure but I do not know anything and only think about Basel right now,” explained the defender.

Stankovic to retire but not leave Inter

It has been confirmed, our beloved Dejan “Deki or Il Dragone” Stankovic is departing Inter before the 2013/14 Serie A season. The regista who joined us from Lazio for €4 million and half of former Inter attacker Goran Pandev is seemed to get his contract terminated and will be payed €1.5 million for the termination since it expires in a year from now, June 30, 2014 to be exact. No he won’t be heading to the MLS or Dubai, he will retire and has been offered a job with the club, possibly similar to Figo’s current job with the Inter board. Marco Branca and Stankovic’s agent sat down today to negotiate the contract termination, although they have not found an agreement yet, the deal is sure to come through.

Catania as candidate to land Samuele Longo

There is a new name for Inter young forward Samuele Longo. According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Catania have stepped forward to become a true contender for the service of former Inter Primavera player Longo.

“There was a meeting between his agent Claudio Vigorelli and the management of Catania, things have been discussed. Longo could really leave the Nerazzurri and Catania are the newest team for his future.”

Bologna target Alibec as Gabbiadini replacement

Denis Alibec, the 22 year-old Romanian atacker who spent the 2012-13 season in Romania on loan to Viitorul Constanta where he played 23 games and scored five goals has recently been courted by Bologna F.C. 1909 as the potential replacement for Manolo Gabbiadini who has just returned to his parent club, Juventus. Bologna are interested in Alibec only on loan or co-ownership since the Nerazzurri are very close to signing the Bologna youngster, Alessandro Capello and it seems as if a co-ownership plus cash deal is indeed in place, Capello’s rights will possibly be purchased for €2.5 million with the services of three Inter Primavera youngsters, Alibec perhaps being one of them.

Thohir back on Twitter to send signals

Erick Thohir continues to push for the control of Inter. There will probably be a meeting with President Moratti some time next week. Meanwhile, the tycoon is back again on Twitter to send signals. Before, he retweeted about Inter’s friendly against Real Madrid, then, in response to a supporter who says that Inter fans do not feel represented by the Italian national team, he says: “Yes, I know. I like Pirlo.” And then again, when someone pointed out that Kovacic could potentially be better than Pirlo, he retweeted that. Then another message stating that Inter has never been relegated to Serie B. In short, he is sending some clear signals. Thohir wants Inter.

Basel-Inter meeting this weekend for Dragovic

Inter are pushing for Aleksandar Dragovic, the Austrian defender of Basel. According to the local newspaper Basler Zeitung, management of the Swiss club is expected to be in Milan this weekend for a possible meeting with the Nerazzurri.

For Dragovic, who has a contract until 2015 with Basel, Inter are ready an 8 million Swiss francs offer which is approximately 7 million euros. There is also competition of Arsenal but the player seems more and more convinced to accept Walter Mazzarri as his next coach.

Sky – Nainggolan prefers Inter over Roma

Inter are re-gaining some ground on Roma for Radja Nainggolan. This is what is going on according to Sky transfer expert Dario Massara who has the following to say on this situation.

“Roma started out with great advantage as they have had agreement with the player for a long time. Inter, after the lunch between Marco Branca and Cellino, have recovered a lot of ground and now they are on par with the Giallorossi. Cellino is not interested in the counterparts that Roma proposed and this has stopped the deal. The feeling is that, in the light of the imminent arrival of Thohir, Nainggolan would now prefer Inter to the club in the capital city.”

Dragovic: “Negotiations with Inter well underway but there are other clubs”

Yesterday, Basel president confirmed Inter interest for Aleksandar Dragovic and the player himself also confirmed negotiations are well underway with the Nerazzurri and also his desire to play in Serie A.

Today, we have new statements coming from the Austrian: “Inter? I can confirm that there are ongoing negotiations Still, nothing is defined yet as other clubs are also interested,” said Dragovic.

Bologna vice president: “Taider and Diamanti to stay with us”

Bologna vice president Marco Pavignani has revealed the intention to keep Saphir Taider, French-Algerian midfielder of the Rossoblu. ”Is there the need to sell him? No, so I can categorically rule him out. Taider and Diamanti will remain with us.”

Both have been linked to Inter at one point in the past but at this moment, Bologna have no intention to sell.

Inter met with Sunderland to talk Alfred Duncan

As reported by Massimiliano Nebuloni of Sky Sport 24, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio met with Sunderland management this afternoon. The reason of this meeting was none other than to talk about Alfred Duncan as the player has great interest coming from the team coached by Paolo Di Canio. It was reported a few days ago that the initial offer has been rejected and perhaps both teams are still finding the common ground to make this deal go through.

Livorno pushing for Benassi and Bardi on loan

Elio Signorelli and Stefano Capozucca, the transfer market men of Livorno, arrived in Milan today to talk with Inter. According to Sky Sport 24, both clubs had transfer market discussion specifically on two Inter players in Francesco Bardi and Marco Benassi. Talks will continue in the next few days as Livorno are hoping to have them on loan for next season.

Inter and FC Basel will meet at the weekend to discuss Dragovic

Inter are trying to wrap up a deal for Aleksandar Dragovic, Austrian defender of Basel. According to the local newspaper Basler Zeitung, in fact, the directors of the Swiss team are expected in Milan at the weekend for a meeting with the Nerazzurri to discuss Dragovic, who has a contract with Basel until 2015. For him Inter are prepared to pay eight million Swiss francs, approximately seven million euros. The player, for which there was talk of the Premier League and Arsenal in particular in recent days, seems more and more likely that he will accept the advances of Inter and find himself at the disposal of Walter Mazzarri.

Bye bye Vladimir Weiss, but Inter have bigger targets

The long-term Inter target, Vladimir Weiss has signed with Olympiacos CFP today, 28 June 2013. He signed a three-year contract on a free transfer and also confirmed it on his Twitter account by announcing, “Done ! I have signed for OLYMPIACOS PIREAUS… With my agent Mino Raiola”. However, since the 40% purchase of Inter from the Indonesian businessman, Erick Thohir, it seems as Inter have been closely monitoring bigger names such as Ezequiel Lavezzi and Lazio trequartista Hernanes.

New Inter-Stankovic meeting, Serbian heading towards contract termination

According to Sky Sport 24, there was a fresh new meeting today between Dejan Stankovic’s agent Claudio Vigorelli and Inter with the goal of terminating the Serbian’s current contract. As both parties are discussing this issue, the player has a big decision to make with options available at hand. Dejan Stankovic has two offers from Major League Soccer particularly from the Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC. Furthermore, a source close to the player speaks of an offer the the UAE but retirement should not be excluded as a concrete option.

Future of Cristian Chivu, a work in progress

Just like Dejan Stankovic, Inter also want to end the relationship with Cristian Chivu. This is another issue that Inter want to conclude before training camp in Pinzolo mid July. According to Sky Sport Massimiliano Nebuloni, there should be news next week regarding this situation. Recent rumors suggested that the Romanian defender could go to Ajax but regardless, Inter just want to move on with a contract termination.

Pedulla: “Inter surpassed Juve for Kolarov”

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Inter have surpassed Juventus as the favorite to land Aleksandar Kolarov, the current Manchester City left-back. The reason for this is the friendship between Massimo Moratti and Beppe Bozzi, agent of the Serbian and one that oversees the Cassano-Belfodil exchange with Parma. The player only wants one thing: to return to Italy after his time in England but he has not expressed a preference between Juventus and Inter.

Inter want 4-5 million for Zdravko Kuzmanovic, waiting for offers

Inter are being very active in terms of cleaning house. As the Nerazzurri are holding talks with Dejan Stankovic and Cristian Chivu to terminate both players’ contracts, the club of Massimo Moratti is looking to sell Zdravko Kuzmanovic. The Serbian midfielder landed at Inter in January for a bit over one million euros and just after a few months, his future perhaps is somewhere else. According to FC Inter 1908, there are many German clubs that have shown interest in the player especially Hoffenheim and Hamburg. No official offer yet but Inter already have clear ideas: the club wants between 4-5 million for its midfielder.

Agent: “We will evaluate offers for Pereira”

“He has a long contract with Inter, is very well in Milan and at the moment there is no reason for him to change club.” That was Alvaro Pereira’s agent Flavio Perchman speaking to Tutto Mercato Web on the future of his client. The former Porto player is currently in Brazil with his national team in the Confederations Cup but his future is in balance. ”Monaco? There is nothing concrete at the moment. He is extremely focused on Inter and his intention is to stay in black and blue for many seasons to come.”

But are you ready to evaluate possible offers?
“For now, there are no offers. However, we would evaluate possible offers especially those that satisfy Inter and the player economically.”

What’s next for Pereira?
“He wants to win the match this Sunday with his national team and then he will go on vacation for a few days before returning to Milan.”

Hernanes sparks Mazzarri’s interest

According to Luca Calamai of Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernanes the Brazilian trequartista of Lazio has caught Mazzarri’s eye throughout the last couple of days and with the possible sale of Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin to mega-rich clubs such as Anzhi, PSG and Monaco, it won’t be a surprise that Inter will soon acquire the funds for such a transfer. Especially with the 40% purchase of Erick Thohir. However, other big name teams are watching and are very interested in the Brazilian as well, the main two being Real Madrid and PSG. The Lazio ace has stated that he wants to stay in Italy and with this project at Inter finally coming to place with the purchases of promising young prospects such as Belfodil, Icardi, Laxalt and Dragovic, the transfer may possibly go through.

Sky – Inter only one million away from Mauricio Isla

Mauricio Isla is getting closer to Inter. As revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sport, today the distance between what Juventus are demanding and what Inter are offering has decreased. The two clubs are only one million euros away, Juventus are asking for 6.5 while Inter are offering 5.5 million. One million. The parties are close.

Sanchez: “Not easy to please Barca fans”

He has been linked to Inter numerous of times in the past and now his name has vanished given the new tactical requirements of Walter Mazzarri but Alexis Sanchez is still having difficulty in Spain.

“It is not easy to please the fans of Barcelona. Here Brazilians or Argentinians are evaluated more than Chileans. The difference between Italy and Spain? What was I doing there I cannot do in Spain. Here I just cannot lose the ball,” explained by the Chilean.

Dragovic wants over one million a year from Inter

This weekend could be decisive for the transfer of Aleksandar Dragovic from Basel to Inter with an expected meeting between the two clubs. Meanwhile, the Swiss portal ’20minuten’ reveals details about the deal: the young Austrian defender might demand a salary of 1.1 million from Inter. Piero Ausilio, sporting director of Inter, has seen the player more than once especially in the Champions League where Basel played against Chelsea and Tottenham. The eight million planned for the closing of the deal would be the highest sum ever paid for an Austrian player, exceeding the 6.5 million that Werder Bremen paid for Marko Arnautovic.

Belfodil to meet Inter on Monday to discuss contract

In less than 48 hours, there will be the first meeting between Ishak Belfodil and Inter. According to la Gazzetta di Parma, The French-Algerian striker has just returned from vacation in Dubai, and after the weekend he should be in Milan to meet with Inter. His agent has not yet agreed with the Nerazzurri about the contract, it is rumored to one million euros for five years plus any bonus for achievements.

Quintero chooses Portugal over Inter

Colombia international, Juan Fernando Quintero has recently join F.C. Porto from Pescara for a sum of €10 million according to the huge Colombian media outlet Caracol Radio. The awfully hyped up 20 year-old will join fellow Colombia international teammates Jackson Martínez and Héctor Quiñones at his new club when he swaps out relegated Pescara for the Portugese champions. Caracol Radio also reports that he will sign a five-year contract and will soon be presented as Porto’s second official signing in the coming days after the purchase of Mexican youngster Héctor Herrera. It also seems as if Quintero’s future role at the club will be to replace fellow Colombian James Rodriguez who left Porto last month for €45 million to cash-rich French club AS Monaco.

Inter rival Juve for Grenier

According to Le 10 Sport, Inter are now interested in the 22 year-old French dynamic midfielder of Olympique Lyonnais, Clément Grenier and are very ready to make a bid since the France international is currently in talks with Lyon over a new contract. Inter are apparently trying to break down the talks by offering what seems to be €8 million for the trequartista but, Inter also have competition in Arsenal and Juventus. This could possibly be a transfer market Derby d’Italia to see who can seal the deal first.

Sunderland set to sign Bessa on loan

The Inter Primavera trequartista who spent half of last season on loan to Serie B club Vicenza Calcio has recently agreed terms with Paolo Di Canio’s Sunderland over a season-long loan. Although the 20 year-old only played three matches for the second tier club due to too many injuries, Di Canio wants to bring him to Sunderland as soon as possible since he is also targeting two other Inter youngsters. The Italian manager is also interested in Alfred Duncan who is more likely to return to Livorno on loan and 18 year-old left back Ibrahima Mbaye.

Sport Mediaset – Nainggolan to Roma is done

“Roma have won the tug of war with Inter for Radja Nainggolan by reaching an agreement in principle even with Cagliari and that is after doing the same with the player’s agent,” reported by Sport Mediaset. “To the club of Cellino will be an amount between 8 to 10 million euros plus co-ownerships of Verre and Viviani. Inter, meanwhile, will return to Behrami of Napoli.”

Sunderland want Duncan, Bessa and MBaye

British sources confirm the existence of more than one negotiation between the Inter and Sunderland for 3 products of Inter’s Primavera.

According to the Daily Star, Paolo Di Canio has set his sights on the talented trio. The first name, the most wanted, is certainly that of Alfred Duncan, star of Ghana at the Under-20 World Cup. For the midfielder the Black Cats are ready to put on the plate 5 million pounds (about 5.8 million euro): Inter have already rejected this initial offer, asking for at least 7m. In the next hours the English club will decide whether to raise the stakes.

Meanwhile, Valentino Angeloni, the new head of the scouts of the English club, who has just left Inter, has asked about Ibrahima Mbaye. The Senegalese defender is well liked and Angeloni is trying to find a way to have first picks on the kid.

The last name wanted by Sunderland is the twenty years old Italian-Brazilian playmaker Daniel Bessa, who spent the last season on loan at Vicenza, the British club opened negotiations on the basis of a loan, it remains to be seen whether there will be a right to buy later clause or not.

In short, yet another confirmation that Inter’s Primavera is able to churn out great talents, which can come in handy in the transfer market especially in tough economical times (sales of Caldirola and Donati are the latest examples) . Now we have to figure out if it will be worth sacrificing some young , homegrown talents to invest in players that are considered to be more ready (Isla and Nainggolan). It would certainly be a gamble.

Roma to challenge Inter for Micah Richards

Perhaps we have another Inter-Roma challenge on the transfer market. According to a report by the Daily Mirror, there is not only the Nerazzurri on Manchester City defender Micah Richards as the Giallorossi have decided to aim at the 25 year-old defender of the English club. Inter will also have to deal with clubs like Arsenal and Bayern Munich for the defender.

Tuttosport – Tevez to convince Kolarov to come to Juve

According to Tuttosport, Juventus want to beat Inter at all costs to bring to Turin Aleksandar Kolarov. The Bianconeri seem to have the advantage at the moment given the recent arrival of Carlos Teves who is trying to persuade the Serbian left back to follow suit. The player has confirmed the desire to leave City and would be willing to reduce salary to have more playing time elsewhere. Juventus and also Inter continue watching the situation.

Dragovic and Isla are coming to Inter

Two signings are coming for Inter and Mazzarri can now be happy. We are talking about Aleksandar Dragovic and Mauricio Isla. According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter are doing everything to gift its coach a team that is as complete as possible by training camp in Pinzolo. The interest in Dragovic is very high while the Nerazzurri must find agreement with Juventus and a meeting could already take place in this upcoming week.

Inter-Belfodil, everything to be defined by Tuesday

“Ishak Belfodil, between Monday and Tuesday, will see Inter to define everything and so will Cassano with Parma. However, watch out for the situation regarding Mauricio Isla as perhaps Inter and Juventus begin to understand each other in the sense that the Bianconeri could lower their demand of 7.5 million. Of course, as already mentioned, Mazzarri wants to go to training camp in Pinzlo with clear ideas of his future team would look like. Will Isla make it? The feeling is yes he will.”

That is the Gazzetta dello Sport with news on Belfodil and Isla, perhaps the next two signings of Inter in this summer.

Sky – With Thohir, Inter will keep Guarin and Handanovic

The first week of July should be very important to the future of Inter. More meetings are expected between Inter president Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir as the Indonesian continues pushing for a spot in Inter management. Not only that, his presence could have a huge impact on the transfer season of Inter. According to Sky Sport 24 reporter Massimiliano Nebuloni, Thohir would allow the club to keep two important pieces for the future in Fredy Guarin and Samir Handanovic.

Denis Alibec going to Bologna

The future of Denis Alibec is already written. According to a story from the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Romanian forward is practically ready to go to Bologna in an operation that will lead the Rossoblu youngster Capello to Inter.

With 120 million from Thohir, many things can change

The transfer season of Inter has been in standby this summer without money, no resources, and with one single strategy: to sell before buy. However with the arrival of Erick Thohir, one that wants to buy 40% of the club and will have a majority of share in three years, things can change. Because with the 120 million euros ended up in the coffers of Massimo Moratti, everything changes and we start with the transfer market. Certainly, not everything will be invested but at least the big names will not leave. Handanovic and Guarin, just to name two, will remain at Inter. Both have been heavily linked to clubs like Barcelona, Anzhi, Monaco but Thohir’s fresh money would allow Inter to keep its important players. Furthermore, one midfielder will arrive. This is one of the top priorities of Walter Mazzarri with Radja Nainggolan as his top target.

Arsenal get Grenier bid rejected

According to Paris based newspaper, Le Parisien Inter rivals to sign Clément Grenier, Arsenal F.C. have just recently gotten their €7 million bid rejected by Olympique Lyonnais. The 22 year-old is currently in talks over a new contract with Lyon and big clubs such as Inter, Arsenal and Juventus are trying to snatch up the France international midfielder before an agreement is made. Grenier’s current contract expires in a year from now causing his market value to decrease and forcing the Ligue 1 outfit to rush for an agreement with the young trequartista. Word is that Inter have also made a bid for around €9 million and are currently getting the offer evaluated by the French club’s board.

Roma owner: “A player will arrive.” Already signed Nainggolan?

From the pages of the Corriere dello Sport, Roma owner James Pallotta has the following to say regarding the strategies of the Giallorossi.

“I think that we will make a nice surprise by signing a player. We are negotiating but I cannot name names,” said Pallotta. All clues are leading to Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan, one of Inter transfer market goals.

Thohir would help Inter sign Nainggolan and Dragovic

From the studios of Nova Stadio, Gazzetta dello Sport transfer expert Carlo Laudisa discusses the transfer window of Inter especially the possible entry of Erick Thohir in management. With the Indonesian, financially, Inter would be more healthy as the he would allow the club to make signings such as Radja Nainggolan and Aleksandar Dragovic.

Rocchi no longer Inter player, contract has expired

Yesterday June 30, 2013, the contract of Tommaso Rocchi with Inter has finally expired. The Italian forward in black and blue managed to scored three goals in 13 appearances. The 35 year-old arrived from Lazio in the January transfer season and was probably the only option that Stramaccioni had after Milito, Cassano and Palacio all went out injured. Rocchi now leaves Inter with his head held high as he was a consummate professional and did his best to contribute.

Red Star director: “Stankovic is now Fiorentina player”

The sporting director of Red Star Belgrade Zoran Stojadinovic reveals important news about Dejan Stankovic, one that is set to leave Inter this summer after having his contract terminated.

“It is no secrete that I spoke with Stankovic before he terminated contract with Inter. He told us that he would play with us for six months or at least one full season before ending his career. Then, I have not heard from him and I believe that he has found an agreement with Fiorentina.”

Official – Belhanda signs for Dynamo Kiev

Younas Belhanda is going to Ukraine. The now former trequartista of Montepellier will play with the shirt of Dynamo Kiev next season. The official announcement has arrived moments ago. Let’s recall that Inter were linked to the Moroccan international in January but no concrete steps were made. The figure for this transaction is believed to be 12 million euros.

Mediaset: Nainggolan is Roma’s, agreement reached

As the summer draws on and the transfer window officially opens, we have more (sour) news; another target is apparently wrapped up by an opponent.

Sport Mediaset reports: “Roma have won the tug of war with Inter for Radja Nainggolan, reaching an agreement in principle (now) also with Cagliari, after reaching one with the player’s agent,” said the paper.

They go on to say, “the figure will be between 8-10m EUR and the ownerships of Verres and Viviani. Inter are now back on Behrami of Napoli.” After missing out on Paulinho, the player we were following in his stead, seems to have come and gone as well.

While Inter may finally be almost ready to make several acquisitions (with Indonesian money)…many of the acquisitions we have targeted, have since been swooped up by other clubs. Onto further contingency plans…a familiar, yet oh-so-frustrating tune for our mercato’s.

What do you think? Is Behrami the kind of player Inter needs? Who would you now have Inter attempt to sign for the midfield?

Swiss media – Dragovic will play for Inter

According to Badische Zeitung, Aleksandar Dragovic will surely go to Inter for around 8 million euros. Talks between both clubs have been going on for at least a week with confirmation from both parties. However, the feeling from Italian sources is that Inter need to at least let go one defender (options are Chivu, Silvestre and Ranocchia) to make this deal happen.

Okezone – Thohir to close the deal with Moratti this week

From the pages of Indonesian newspaper Okezone, there are new details on the Inter-Thohir deal.

“Thohir is one step away from Inter and will hold approximately 40% of the shares. This week there should be a turning point in negotiations because Thohir will fly to Milan to close the deal with President Moratti.”

Dragovic-Inter, medical visit next week?

We are moving towards the conclusion of negotiations between Inter and Basel for the transfer of Aleksandar Dragovic to the Italian club. The duration of the contract and the sum to be paid must wait a few days to be defined, but according to Basler Zeitung , the Austrian defender who is in Vienna at the moment, will travel to Milan next week for his medical.

Inter could replace Handanovic with Agazzi and Nainggolan

Nothing is definite when it comes to Samir Handanovic. According to the Corriere dello Sport, everything will depend on the will of Victor Valdes. Barcelona are thinking of blocking Ter-Stegen for the 2014-2015 season but if Valdes decided to leave now, the Catalans could return to either Samir Handanovic and Pepe Reina. In case of a possible farewell of the Slovenian goalkeeper, Inter would then be focusing on Michael Agazzi as well as Radja Naingolan in a package deal with Cagliari.

Moratti to meet Agnelli personally for Isla?

The gap remains but it has been reduced over the last few days of intense negotiations Juventus and Inter are trying to define the transfer of Mauricio Isla (just the Juventus half, Udinese have the other one) to the Nerazzurri. The Chilean wants a transfer to the city of Milan especially after one unsuccessful year under Antonio Conte however, the demand remains a bit too high for Inter. The gap has been reduced from two to one million but there is no agreement.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, there are two options that could lead to white smoke: the mediation of agent Vagheggi or a direct meeting between Moratti and Agnelli.

Inter-Belfodil meeting in progress

These are important hours for the transfer of Ishak Belfodil to Inter. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky transfer expert, a few minutes ago Pietro Leonardi, Parma director, entered Inter headquarters in Milan. But that is not all because the player’s agents are also present in this meeting. This deal is about to be done even if Silvestre has not said yes to Parma yet.

Agreement reached between Inter and Parma for Belfodil. Five-year contract ready

Here is the latest from Sky on the meeting in progress between Inter and Parma for Ishak Belfodil.

“The agreement between Inter and Parma has been found and within a couple of days, the official announcement will come. Agent Bozzo has just left the building while Cassano is ready to receive a three-year deal. Other directors still in this meeting are Branca and Ausilio to talk with Parma directors and Belfodil’s agents. For Belfodil, given his young age, we are talking about a five-year contract.”

Agent: “Cassano to Parma? We need two to three more days”

Beppe Bozzo, agent of Antonio Cassano, discusses the possible transfer to Parma which could conclude this week. “Without our presence, this deal cannot be concluded. We will be back in a few days and probably in mid-week, we will get to see the club to figure out what to do. Nothing more to add however until everything is resolved. I am monitoring other negotiations and I cannot say that Cassano to Parma is a done deal. It takes more time, maybe two or three days.”

Sky – No agreement between Cagliari and Roma for Nainggolan

To give us the latest update on negotiations between Roma and Nainggolan, here is Gianluca Di Marzio straight from his website.

“Meeting but no agreement. Roma and Cagliari saw each other in a meeting that took place in Linate and now Sabatini is returning to the capital city. On the table was the future of Radja Nainggolan and for now there is no agreement. Roma want half of his card by offering 8 million euros but the Rossoblu said no. Both parties will talk again in the next few days. Meanwhile, the player is in Rome having just returned from Indonesia and tomorrow will go to Cagliari.”

Signing Nainggolan will not be simple

From Sky Sport studios, Luca Marchetti talks about the name of Nainggolan one that is being followed by Inter and Roma.

“Signing Nainggolan will not be easy. Today, Roma met with Cagliari and had their offer of 8 million for half rejected by the Rossoblu. Cellino, Cagliari president, will not sell the player easily,” said Marchetti.

Sportske – Dragovic to Inter for 6.5 million euros

According to Sportske, Aleksandar Dragovic could arrive at Inter for a figure of just about 6.5 million euros. The Austrian defender, on numerous occasions, has announced his desire and willingness to play for Inter under the guidance of Walter Mazzarri. Both clubs continue to negotiate and we should have more news this week.

Sport Mediaset – Dragovic to Inter is done, will arrive next week

According to Mediaset Premium, the transfer of Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic to Inter is done and everything will be official soon.

“An agreement has been found with both the club and the player and now the player will arrive next week. Dragovic will be the new defender for Walter Mazzarri. Both clubs will continue talking for the payment formula which should be divided in three years,” said journalist Paolo Bargiggia.

Campagnaro: “I will defend my Inter colors”

Straight from his official Twitter account, Hugo Campagnaro says goodbye to Napoli and is ready for his new adventure in the black and blue colors of Inter shirt.

“Yesterday, my contract with Napoli officially expired after four great years with a lot of satisfactions. These are great experiences, very intense that have characterized my career. I wish all the best to Napoli and its fans who have always supported me. Now, for me is the beginning of a new adventure, I will defend new colors and will certainly be a new challenge for me. There are high expectations and I will begin this new adventure as I always have with Deportivo Moron, Piacenza, Sampdoria and Napoli. Now all my efforts are directed to the new team. Thank you Naples. I will never forget the fans.”

Sky – Inter made offer for Sao Paulo 22 year-old midfielder Wellington

Now that negotiations for Radja Nainggolan are more and more complicated, Inter are already thinking of plan B for its midfield department. As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, the Nerazzurri have turned their attention to Brazil and particularly Sao Paulo for the alternative of the Cagliari midfielder. The name is Wellington Aparecido Martins, more simply known as Wellington, the 1991-born midfielder of Sao Paulo. The player has played around 90 matches for his Brazilian club and the Nerazzurri have made an offer of five million but Wellington’s club is asking for 12. There is also Porto.

Cagliari president now wants Longo for Nainggolan

Despite strong competition from Roma, Inter continue to push hard for Radja Nainggolan. According to the Corriere dello Sport, Cagliari president, other than Bardi and Benassi (both were offered by Inter), has also asked for Samuele Longo for his Rossoblu attack. The formula for this is unknown but recently, the Italian forward’s agent has expressed the desire of his client to go out on loan.

Branca set to meet with Silvestre today. Mariga and Obi as alternatives

The future of Matias Silvestre is yet to be defined. Yesterday, Parma general director Pietro Leonardi expressed confidence in the success of the transfer of Silvestre to Parma but in the meantime, according to Corriere dello Sport, there should be a meeting today between Branca and the Argentinian defender.

“Should this deal collapse, Inter will close this deal for Belfodil without Silvestre and will also look for another alternative,” reported by the newspaper. The alternative could be Mariga and Obi, for whom Donadoni has shown great interest in.

Ishak Belfodil, official announcement either today or tomorrow. Contract details…

Ishak Belfodil should become an Inter player officially within 48 hours. This is the certainty of the Corriere dello Sport which explains that everything is about to come to an end. After an important meeting yesterday in Milan, the French forward is ready to wear the Inter shirt. For the young player, a five-year contract is ready at 800 thousand euros per season.

Going the other way are Antonio Cassano and perhaps Matias Silvestre. The Italian forward should sign a three-year deal at over two million per season.

“There’s no battle between us and Roma for his signature.” – Moratti on Nainggolan

Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that Inter are indeed not in a race with A.S. Roma to sign the Belgium international from Cagliari by stating, “Nainggolan? I’m not sure if Inter are leading the chase for him. For now, we’re just looking.” The Nerazzurri supremo also stated ”There’s no battle between us and Roma for his signature,” confirming that Nainggolan is not as big of a target as he was before Roma’s interest. The Nerazzurri have yet to make an official bid for the 25 year-old holding midfielder and have seemed to let go of prospect of signing the Belgium international and are now more interested in Clément Grenier for the midfield role.

Lancenet confirms – Inter made an offer (verbally) for Wellington

According to Brazilian source Lancenet, Wellington could be on his way out of Sao Paulo as its management is perfectly aware of an offer from Inter. The Nerazzurri have, for now, only made a verbal proposal and the value of this offer is more than five million euros. Wellington’s contract is expiring in 2015 and there is still no agreement to renew. The 22 year-old is considered to be the alternative to Paulinho who is now heading towards Tottenham.

Paulinho confirms Tottenham move

Long time Inter target, Paulinho has confirmed today in a press conference with Corinthians sporting director Roberto de Andrade that he will indeed move to the North London club before the start of the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season. The box-to-box midfielder who seemed almost certain to join the Nerazzurri has instead joined the English League outfit for a fee around €20 million. The 24 year-old also stated that he will return to Corinthians very soon and cried while thanking Corinthians for the wonderful three years he had spent there winning the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Copa Libertadores, FIFA Club World Cup and the most recent, Campeonato Paulista.

Kicker – Kuzmanovic will leave Inter

As reported by Kicker, Zdravko Kuzmanovic will surely leave Inter this summer. The Serbian midfielder arrived in Milan for 1.2 million euros and only played 13 appearances in Serie A, four of which as starter. Inter will look to at least make a capital gain with this sale and according to rumors, the Nerazzurri want at least 3-5 million for the player. Kuzmanovic has a lot of interest coming from Germany.

Tuttosport – Negotiations for Dragovic are going smoothly

According to Tuttosport, negotiations for Aleksandar Dragovic “are going without frequent stopping to deliver to Mazzarri a young defender one that has a very solid career.” The newspaper also confirms the agreement between Inter and the player for a salary of about 1.1 million euros. However, both clubs are still negotiating and the gap is at one million.

Sky journalist: “Belfodil-Inter to be official within 48 hours”

Inter and Parma have been talking for weeks now for the transfer of French forward Ishak Belfodil to the Nerazzurri. The last final details perhaps link to the answer of Matias Silvestre because Antonio Cassano has already said yes to the Ducali and a three-year contract. According to Sky Sport transfer expert Alessandro Sugoni, within 48 hours, Ishak Belfodil will officially become an Inter forward. Negotiations are ready to conclude.

Sky – Roma have the advantage over Inter for Nainggolan

It is not easy to sign Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan and this was reported by Luca Marchetti of Sky Sport 24. Cellino does not really want to sell his midfielder while Roma – despite the stalemate and the fact that there is still no agreement between both sides – seem to be in the lead for the Belgian international.

Tigre president: “AFA to block Ruben Botta’s transfer to Inter.” Agent: “He is free to go”

In the last few hours, the case of Ruben Botta and his club Tigre erupted in Argentina. In an interview with a local radio station, Tigre president explains that he “would use the AFA (Argentinian Football Association) to block any transfer of Ruben Bottal.”

Immediately after, Sergio Levinton, agent, makes it very clear.

“His contract expired yesterday and today, he is a free agent. Therefore, the player is free to listen to all the offers that he wants. Ruben gave his whole life to Tigre and I do not understand the reason for this fury against him.”

His move to Inter, however, does not seem in doubt despite strong dispute between the two parties.

Sao Paulo president: “Not selling Wellington who is fundamental for us”

The vice president of Sao Paulo, Joan Paulo de Jesus Lopes, had this to say two weeks ago when Shakhtar decided to show the desire to sign Wellington.

“He is an extremely important player for Sao Paulo and we have no interest in negotiating for the player. So far, we have not had official contacts with Shakhtar but I want to say that it is not in our interest to negotiate for the sale of Wellington.”

Road to Wellington full of obstacles

Inter have made an offer of five million euros for Wellington, the 1991-born midfielder of Sao Paulo. The road that leads to the eventual conclusion of this deal, however, is full of obstacles.

The first is called Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainians have already made an offer a few days ago, one that is worth 12 million euros to the Brazilian club. The second is the fact that Wellington is also owned by Atletico Madrid. In 2010 (precisely January 24, 2010), Atletico Madrid sold 50% of Cleber Santana to Sao Paulo for one million. In exchange, Atletico got to keep a percentage of Wellington. It is not clear how much this percentage is.

Parma director: “Silvestre? I am confident”

Pietro Leonardi, Parma director, expresses confidence regarding the arrival of Matias Silvestre to his club.

“I am an optimist by nature and I also believe in this case because we can finally meet him in person and not by talking on the phone. I am confident. I will always remember the doubt that Jonathan had: before he was hesistant but then at the end, he asked me to stay in Parma.”

Time could favor Inter in dealing for Nainggolan

Radja Nainggolan is not for sale. Cellino is serious and has sent back the 8 million offer for half of the midfielder from Roma (plus players). The Giallorossi sporting director Sabatini was convinced to close the deal for the Belgian but the Cagliary president has stoppe everything.

“Inter are waiting but with alternatives ready. Like the road that leads to Wellington, 22 year-old midfielder of Sao Paulo, who has been followed by Inter in recent months. Branca and Ausilio are keeping close eyes on him,” reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport. The same paper explains that “time could favor the club of Walter Mazzarri.”

In certain conditions and guarantees, Moratti could sell 100% of Inter

The black smoke with the Chinese has left its marks and for this reason, Massimo Moratti does not want to repeat the same mistake which is closing an unpolished deal. Compared to that negotiation which saw the Chinese buying 15% of the club for around 55 million euros, this time with Thohir, everything is much more complex. The Indonesian does not intend to invest millions upon millions without having the power to decide anything or without having a say in management and now Moratti will have to decide: keeping or selling Inter. Much easier said than done.

“In the presence of certain conditions and guarantees, the number one Interista is really wiling to sell 100% of the club. Or at the very least, the majority of shares. Thohir seems credible and very much enthusiastic.Moratti, at this moment, is slowing things down because he wants to evalute every detail in the documents, the cash flow, short-term, medium and long-term plans,” reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport.

A fundamental news because this is the turning point of Inter’s future.

The club a year ago was valued at about 360 million euros other than the obvious outstanding debt (nearly 300 million). Thohir should immediately cover the shortfalls and then retrain all the contingent assest of the brand in order to return to profitability. A challenge that might seem simple to whose who have this type of economic power like the Indonesian but in reality, it would not be so easy to implement for those who are unfamiliar with the dynamics in question. Moratti knows very well that failing is not an option and for this reason, there is indecision and it is very strong.

Danilo: “I’m staying at Udinese”

“No one is looking for me and my agent hasn’t said anything about Inter. I think I will stay at Udinese.” That was Danilo who denies any rumor of him joining the black and blue shirt of Inter.

Here is an update on the defensive department by the Gazzetta dello Sport: “We are waiting to see the future of Ranocchia (United have turned attention to Garay). In Switzerland, people are saying Dragovic is just a step away from Inter while Danilo has been taken off the market. However, if Ranocchia leaves, do not exclude surprises.”

Tuttosport – Inter closing in on Dragovic and Isla

According to Tuttosport, after defining the transfer of Ishak Belfodil, Inter will try to close for Isla and Dragovic. For the Chilean, Juve have reduced the demand to 6.5 million while Inter’s offer remains at 5.5. The Nerazzurri will try to close by Sunday if not, the club of Walter Mazzarri could change its course to a different target. Dragovic is very close while Chivu and Ranocchia remain in balance. The Swiss media has even said that the Austrian would be in Milan this week to have a medical. This deal looks set to conclude.

Bellomo set for Torino

Torino F.C. and A.S. Bari have reached an agreement eariler today over the purchase of Nicola Bellomo. The long time Inter target is set to join Torino before the start of the 2013-14 Serie A season with the Turin based club paying a figure of just over €1 million for half of the trequartista’s card. Chievo who own the other half of the 22 year-old are currently negotiating with Torino over their share of the Italian with Torino interested in fully owning the trequartista yet they are not willing to pay anything drastically more than they did for Bari’s half.

Roma’s offer for Nainggolan rebuffed

According to Corriere dello Sport, A.S. Roma’s €8.5 million bid for the Belgium international has recently been rejected. This confirms that Roma and Cagliari have not actually reached an agreement and that the 25 year-old holding midfielder may be still in talks with the Nerazzurri.

Agent: “Mbaye? We will know more after training camp”

Speaking to Sky Sport, Beppe Accardi, agent of Mbaye, discusses the future of his client who has been linked to a move to Sunderland together with Daniel Bessa and Alfred Duncan.

“Yes, Sunderland like the boy and he could go on loan. However, everything will be clearer after training camp because Walter Mazzarri wants to evaluate him. I also believe that the situation of Duncan and Bessa are also similar. They are great players and it is normal that Sunderland have shown interest.”

Wellington says yes to Inter

The Brazilian regista of São Paulo is all for joining the Nerazzurri this summer but a main stumbling block could be the Brazilian club itself. Inter’s €5 million bid has recently been rejected by São Paulo’s board and the Nerazzurri have now launched a €7 million bid to try and change the Brazilian club’s mind and to eventually offload the player. However, São Paulo vice president, Joan Paulo de Jesus Lopes has stated his club will do their best to keep the midfielder since he is very fundamental for their future. With São Paulo unwilling to let go of the player and with only Wellington’s consent, the possibility of the transfer going through is very slim.

GdS – Sassuolo interested by Samuele Longo

Not only Catania is interested in Inter striker, Samuele Longo, but there is also Sassuolo. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Espanyol player who is likely to leave the Nerazzurri during this transfer windown, is liked by the Neroverde and negotiations could begin now.

Mazzarri wants Isla before next Monday

Inter continue to press on for Mauricio Isla. Massimiliano Nebuloni, Sky journalist, ensures that the player could arrive at the club by the beginning of training camp.

“Walter Mazzarri wants Inter to make this signing before training camp and the coach is pushing for it. The team will get back next Monday and there is a good chance that the Chilean will see his new teammates at Inter.”

Here is Belfodil’s contract at Inter

The meeting yesterday morning at Punta Ala between Pietro Leonardi and Beppe Bozzi has unlocked the transfer of Cassano to Parma so at this point, we are only waiting for the official announcement of this transaction.

A yes that also unlocks the move of Ishak Belfodil to Inter. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the French-Algerian forward will sign a five-year contract with Inter, one that is worth about 800 thousand euros per year.

From Brazil: ‘Here Is Inter’s Contract Offer For Wellington’

Directly from Super Radio Tupi in Brazil, new details on the offer made by Inter for Wellington have arrived: “The Nerazzurri would offer the player a contract worth a million euros per year.”

In short, there should not be any problem convincing the player to join the black and blue club next season. The biggest obstacle right now is to put pressure on Sao Paulo to sell and the Brazilian club, so far, is resisting.

Dragovic Is Inter’s First Choice, But…

Aleksandar Dragovic is a hot name for Inter’s defense. Alfredo Pedulla, market expert, talks to SportItalia about the deal.

“The Austrian is the first choice for Inter’s defense. To facilitate his arrival, however, Inter must make a major sale. Guarin and Ranocchia are the most probable victims.”

Bagnoli: ‘Wellington Would Be Inter’s Vidal’

Inter are thinking of a Brazilian as a reinforcement for the midfield and itt is Wellington, 1991-born midfielder of Sao Paulo. There are many obstacles to get over before we can see him in Milan, there is competition from Shakhtar and a high demand from Sao Paulo. Branca will try. FCInterNews has an interview with Andrea Bagnoli, a FIFA agent who is an expert in South American football.

Wellington is the new name for the Inter midfield. How is he as a player?
“He is a young man with great potential. He knows how to interpret the game. He is a compact player physically and is really explosive. The player had a bad injury but has recovered.”

How are the negotiations doing?
“I understand that there are ongoing contacts between the two clubs. I don’t know exactly how much the bids are but the player is certainly on Inter’s notebook.”

Is his price around 12 million as we have previously read?
“I think that figure is exaggerated, he is a potential champion. He is a dynamic, modern player, ideal for Mazzarri’s game.”

Is Wellington the right alternative to Nainggolan?
“For me he is even stronger than the Belgian. But it is difficult to compare the two.”

Would he feel at ease in Italy?
“Surely, he does everything. He also often comes forward to cross and shot. He would be Inter’s Vidal.”

Does Inter have an emissary in Brazil?
“Usually Calenda is in charge of these negotiations…”

Sky reporter: “Moratti met with Djorkaeff”

Straight from his Twitter account, Sky Sport journalist Matteo Barzaghi reveals that “Moratti has seen Djorkaeff. Old friends, new projects?” We are awaiting on news details of this meeting between the Inter president and his former player.

Sky – Branca, Ausilio working hard to close deal for Wellington

Wellington is close to Inter. The Nerazzurri are looking to reach an agreement with Sao Paulo but at this moment, the offer of five million is considered too low.

“Wellington appreciates the Nerazzurri and is trying to convince the president of Sao Paulo to lower the demand. The gap remains huge but Branca and Ausilio are working to find an agreement somewhere between 12 million asking price and five million that Inter have offered. Negotiations are evolving and the Brazilian wants to be part of a new area with Walter Mazzarri’s Inter.”

Dragovic back training with Basel

Waiting to see how negotiations with Inter would turn out, Aleksandar Dragovic is now back training with his current club F.C. Basel. Yesterday, in fact, the Austrian was back at the disposal of his coach Murat Yakin as Basel are getting ready for next season. The defender did not talk about his future and solely is focused on training and getting in shape.

Biglia set to join Lazio

The Argentina international will soon sign a four-year with the Biancocelesti during the next couple of days. The long time Inter target will leave the Belgian Pro League current champions, R.S.C. Anderlecht for the Rome based club for an undisclosed fee. The 27 year-old landed in Rome earlier today to undergo a medical and eventually sign the contract, he will receive the number four as his kit number and could play his first match vs Juventus for the Italian Supercup on August 10.

Contact Inter-Tottenham for Guarin

As the calendar turns to July, the transfer market really starts to pick things up. It is getting more and more intense as clubs are racing to make signings before training camp. For Inter, there is good news on Wellington in terms of incoming transfer but outgoing, there is news on Fredy Guarin.

“There was contact last night between Tottenham and Inter for Guarin. The English continues to push so we need to pay close attention on this front,” said Alfredo Pedulla.

GdS – Livorno to wrap up Bardi and Benassi deal by the weekend

Livorno are making decisive steps to have Francesco Bardi and Marco Benassi on loan next season. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the club president Aldo Spinelli is hoping to officially announce the two signings by the end of this week. It is crucial for these two young players to go elsewhere to get experience as both are considered to be the future of this club.

Djorkaeff could be new Oriali for Inter

From the studios of Sky Sport 24, Massimiliano Nebuloni discusses the meeting between Moratti and Djorkaeff and its significance.

“The French could be the new Oriali and this meeting with Moratti has really intrigued him. We are trying to figure out if this meeting has any sporting sense to it,” words of the journalist.

New contender for Samuele Longo

Cagliari are looking for a forward as it is not certain that Pinilla and Thiago Ribeiro would remain there for another season. As a result, Cagliari president could be looking Inter’s way for its young forward Samuele Longo. The player just returned from Espanyol and should be loaned out this season given the signings of Belfodil and Icardi.

Moratti texts Cellino, “Wait.”

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Moratti has contacted Cagliari chairman and owner Massimo Cellino via text on July 3, 2013, the text apparently reads “Wait.” in Italian, a signal for Cellino that yet another Inter offer for Nainggolan is indeed on it’s way. Moratti may have another trick up his sleeve or Plan B to convince Cellino that his offer is better than Roma’s and to eventually bring the Belgian holding midfielder to the San Siro.

Grenier: ‘I Will Meet With Lyon Soon’

From the columns of Le 10 Sport, Clement Grenier, who is sought after by Inter and Arsenal, talks about his future.

“I have not made a decision. I will meet with the president and the coach and then evaluate the situation. However, I still have a year left on my contract so whatever happens, if the club does not want to sell me, I’ll stay in Lyon.”

Moratti salutes Cassano: “Honor to have him here”

MILAN - FC Internazionale has agreed a deal with Parma Football Club for the permanent transfer of Antonio Cassano. The striker made 39 appearances and scored 10 goals for Inter in 2012/13.

President Massimo Moratti (“An honour to have been able to watch him play for Inter”) and Inter would like to thank Antonio Cassano for wearing the Nerazzurri shirt and living up to the club’s tradition with his class. Interisti will always remember him with great fondness and respect.

Sao Paulo vice president: “Difficult to keep Wellington”

Many European clubs are looking for Sao Paulo midfielder Wellington. After the 2-1 defeat against Corinthians, Sao Paulo vice president Carlos Augusto de Barros Silva admitted that there are a lot of movements in Europe for his player, particularly Inter.

“I know that the player is getting a lot of interest and offers from big European clubs. When we received these offers, it would be difficult to keep the player and we know this very well. This is happening now to Wellington.”

Shakhtar Donetsk to offer 10 million for Wellington. Inter…

There is also Shakhtar Donetsk in the race for Wellington, the jewel of Sao Paulo and is also being followed by Inter. For the Corriere dello Sport, the player has already expressed his preference of playing for the Nerazzurri but Shakhtar, coached by Lucescu, have put up a 10 million offer on the plate. Inter, only offered five, are ready to increase the bid but the Italians will not reach the bid by the Ukrainians.

Djorkaeff as Thohir’s director?

According to Tuttosport, the meeting between Djorkaeff and Moratti yesterday could be related to Thohir situation. The Frenchman lives in New York and is ready to be back in management. His residency in the United States of America allows him to have a better understanding of how Thohir works with clubs like DC United and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Handanovic will stay at Inter and here is why

Samir Handanovic will stay at Inter and the Corriere dello Sport is certain about it. The Rome based newspaper explains that starting Monday, working together with the staff of Walter Mazzarri will be Adriano Bonaiui, goalkeeper coach of the Slovenian player during his time at Udinese. This is a sign that Moratti wants to meet the demand of Inter number one goalkeeper and starting Monday, Bonaiuti will be part of the coaching staff.

Belfodil-Inter, medical and official announcement tomorrow

Ishak Belfodil at Inter is a done deal. The French-Algerian forward will go to the Nerazzurri while Antonio Cassano is going the other way to Parma. According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the official announcement for this transfer is expected to be tomorrow after the completion of Belfodil’s medical.

OFFICIAL – Campagnaro and Andreolli sign for Inter

According to the news that brought to us by Lega Serie A, Argentinian defender Hugo Campagnaro is officially an Inter player. The former Napoli defender has signed for Inter on a free transfer given contract expiration with his former club Napoli. Furthermore, another player has officially joined Inter. In a similar situation (contract expired), Marco Andreolli is back to Milan wearing the black and blue shirt, one that we saw him in a few years back. Contracts of both players have been submitted and their new adventure starts now.

Jonathan set to stay? Schelotto and Guarin…

Matteo Barzaghi, Sky journalist and one that is very close to Inter, discusses the club’s transfer season.

“I believe that at the end of the day, Jonathan will stay at Inter. As for Schelotto, we are still waiting for a personal meeting with Walter Mazzarri on Monday. Guarin is sellable but only to an offer of 20 million or more.”

Silvestre will say no to Parma

According to a report done by Roberto Marchesi from Sky Sport 24, Matias Silvestre will say no to Parma and the possibility of seeing him wearing the Gialloblu shirt is now gone. The reason is that the Argentinian defender is not within the economic parameters of the club.

Belfodil already passed medical. Official announcement Friday morning

Ishak Belfodil is ready to take on the world of Inter by storm. The transfer of the French forward to the black and blue side of Milan is now complete and according to Sky, the player has already passed his medical with this new club. So tomorrow morning we can expect the official announcement of this transfer. For Belfodil, a five-year deal is ready.

Inter’s loan request for Micah Richards rejected

Inter have turned on the radar in England. The latest news is that the Nerazzurri asked Manchester City to have defender Micah Richards on loan for next season. However, according to Sky, the English club has responded that they do not want to let go of its player.

Moratti: “I will not sell majority of Inter”

Massimo Moratti talks to Sport Mediaset about the latest news regarding negotiations with Erick Thohir.

“We are still very far apart compared to what the papers are saying. To them, it is like the knock out is very close but in reality, we are still in the first round. Do fans have to worry about me selling the majority? No, I don’t think so…”

With an offer, Alvarez will leave. Exchange with Nocerino? It’s off

Not only Inter are dealing with incoming transfers but the Nerazzurri will also worry about outgoing ones as well. We have not heard much about the future of Ricardo Alvarez lately and to update us is Matteo Barzaghi, Sky journalist.

“The Argentinian would leave if there is an offer. There is little money to go around not only in Italy. At this point, the exchange with Milan for Nocerino has definitely faded away.”

Daily Star – Manchester United remain interested in Ranocchia

The permanence of Andra Ranocchia at Inter is far from obvious. In fact, Manchester United seem really interested in acquiring the 1988-born defender and to confirm this is the British tabloid Daily Star. The player also has attention of Juventus but the Bianconeri prefer Angelo Ogbonna. The Red Devils, therefore, appear to be the only club that really wants the Italian one that Inter will only let go for an appropriate offer.

Udinese director: “Inter have never asked for Dusan Basta”

Speaking to TuttoUdinese, the sporting director of Udinese Cristiano Giaretta has this to say regarding the link between Inter and Dusan Basta. ”No, not at all like that. To date, we have never really sat down with Inter and there has been a request from them,” said Giaretta.

Carrizo joins Inter

The 29 year-old Argentine shotstopper has joined the Nerazzurri along with Hugo Campagnaro, Marco Andreolli, Alessandro Capello and Andrea Pinamonti yesterday, July 4, 2013. Contract details have not been released yet but it seems as if Carrizo will replace Castellazzi as the number two for the 2014-15 season since the 37 year-old Italian is set to retire in a year from now. The veteran goalkeeper has had a successful time at Inter playing 24 games with the Milanese club and will most likely be competing for the second string spot with Carrizo next season since his return from injury on July 2, 2013.

Lyon president on Grenier: “He stays here”

The 22 year-old French trequartista will apparently sign a contract extension and stay at Lyon according to Lyon president, Jean-Michel Aulas. The Olympique Lyonnais supremo is very certain that the France international will indeed be a Lyon player by the start of the 2013-14 Ligue 1 season and has demanded that any club interested in the midfielder should give up as soon as possible. Will Inter pay attention to Aulas’s warning and give up on Clement Grenier?

Sky – Here is the possible starting 11 for Inter next season

461e71b3fb4620d38481c2f425c3e2e3-56067-d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e.jpg

According to Sky Sport 24, Walter Mazzarri already has clear ideas on how to play his Inter next season. The former Napoli coach should go with the familiar 3-5-2 formation. Inter will continue working on two other main targets in Radja Nainggolan and Mauricio Isla in order to satisfy the demand of Mazzarri.

Inter set to renew Longo’s contract until 2017. Then…

Renewal is close for Samuele Longo. According to a report from Matteo Barzaghi of Sky Sport, there was a meeting today between agent of Longo, Renzo Contratto, and Piero Ausilio, Inter sporting director. The purpose of this discussion is to extend the player’s contract until 2017 (current contract expires in 2015) and agreement for this is very close.

And then, it will be up to Walter Mazzarri to decide on what to do with the player. Clubs like Parma, Cagliari and Sassuolo are very interested and sending him out on loan is something that Inter will consider very seriously.

Sky – Wellington just a strategy, Inter only want Nainggolan

Inter are on the hunt for Radja Nainggolan. And to comment on this situation is Massimiliano Nebuloni, Sky journalist.

“The number one name for the midfield is Nainggolan. Plan B is called Wellington but it seems that the Brazilian is just a strategy to lower the asking price of Cellino (Cagliari president). There is still room to open negotiations. Talks with Thohir are not related to dealing for the player of Indonesian origins.”

Monaco also interested in Nainggolan. 21 million for the midfielder and Agazzi?

The intention of Radja Nainggolan seems very clear and that he wants to play for Walter Mazzarri’s Inter. However, according to La Nuova Sardegna, the last obstacle is from France and that Monaco have offered 21 million for both him and Michael Agazzi as recommended by Claudio Ranieri. This was done yesterday and now we are waiting for a response before the end of the week.

Cagliari director: “Contact with Inter for Nainggolan but…”

His name is on the top of Walter Mazzarri’s wish-list but the high demand of Cagliari president has proven to be a huge problem. Radja Nainggolan does not lack admirers both in Italy like Inter and Roma and also abroad in Monaco: to unlock this situation, a potential suitor must put up at least 15 million euros. In an interview with FC Inter News, Cagliari sporting director Nicola Salerno talks about this very topic.

Salerno, what is the situation of Nainggolan?
“I just arrived in the city today and so I do not know anything concrete. However, there are many teams that like the player.”

Is it true that contacts with Roma have now stopped?
“We do not have any scheduled meetings with them. In the past, there was some contact with Inter but the distance (between demand and offer) remains huge.”

Is it probable that Radja will leave Cagliari?
“I don’t want to say too much so let’s wait for a bit.”

Parma president: “Now we’re working on Silvestre”

The transfers of Ishak Belfodil and Antonio Cassano to Inter and Parma are now official. However, negotiations between both these clubs are not stopping here. Speaking to Radio Sportiva, Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi reveals that the desire to sign Silvestre is still there.

“And now we will worry about Silvestre who has been asked explicitly by Donadoni to fix the defense and form a partnership with Paletta. We’ll see if we can satisfy the coach but if not, we’ll look somewhere else.”

Sky – Now Inter will start selling. The candidates…

After closing a couple of signings in the last couple of days, Inter are going to start selling according to Sky journalist Massimiliano Nebuloni.

“Inter want to get rid of some of the players. We are talking about Jonathan, Alvarez, and Kuzmanovic. All have huge salaries and thus it is difficult to put them on the transfer market. Leaving the city of Milan is not easy because the club and the city are considered top destination for any player. Inter squad will be trimmed because without European commitments.”

Tuttosport – Inter see Wellington as vice-Cambiasso

According to Tuttosport, after completing the signing of Belfodil, Inter will now seek to beef up the midfield department. For the vice Cambiasso position, Wellington of Sao Paulo is a strong candidate. Inter have offered 5.5 million and rumors in Brazil suggest that at about 7, everything can close. The Brazilian club management recently expressed pessimism in keeping the 22 year-old due to strong interest in Europe.

Cagliari want 19 million for Nainggolan?

Now that talks with Roma have stopped, Radja Nainggolan seems destined to stay at Cagliari for next season. The reason? Well, the Rossoblu’s demand is just very high for both Roma and Inter. Despite various reports that Nainggolan’s dream is to play for Inter, the 19 million demand by Massimo Cellino, Cagliari president, will probably make that dream very hard to come true. According to Tuttosport, with the help of Erick Thohir, this deal is possible.

CdS – Milito will leave Inter in 2014

The future of Inter veteran players is getting a bit more clear. Next week, there will be a meeting between Inter, Milito and Cambiasso. In particular, the future of the forward already seems determined. Diego Milito will play out his last season in the contract and then will return to Argentina to finish his career. Another senior player is Dejan Stankovic who should also meet Inter next week. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Serbian has two options: Red Star or retirement.

Sport Mediaset – Nainggolan chosen Inter and said no to Roma

Radja Nainggolan has made his choice: no to Roma and yes to Inter. This was revealed by Sport Mediaset reporter/journalist Garbiele Cattaneo and according to whom, the Belgian midfielder has chosen Inter with the awareness of behind the foundation of Erick Thohir’s project. The Nerazzurri, therefore, are in no hurry to close the deal with Cellino and maybe with the passage of time they might get a small discount from the Cagliari president.

With right offer, Ranocchia will be sacrificed

According to Tuttosport, more and more voices from England suggest that offers are coming soon for Andrea Ranocchia. Manchester United seem to be very serious for the Italian defender but there are also Tottenham and Arsenal. Should the right offer arrive, Inter would sacrifice the 25 year-old Italian. To replace him, the Nerazzurri are thinking of Dragovic or Douglas.

Juventus in pole position to sign Kolarov

Juventus are ready to move in for Aleksandar Kolarov. According to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, the club’s directors in Marotta and Paratici are trying to find an agreement with Manchester City for the Serbian defender. However, the gap remains quite wide as Juventus have proposed a loan (1.5 million) and right to purchase at 5.5 while City want 7 million now. In short, Juventus seem to be the favorite over Inter for the service of Kolarov.

Inter now ready to move in on Nainggolan

Inter are ahead of the competition in the race to sign Radja Nainggolan. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the SMS that was sent by President Moratti to Massimo Cellino was decisive. The Belgian is the right man for the midfield that Walter Mazzarri has in mind for his team, and the possible arrival of Erick Thohir could only help this situation. The Indonesian tycoon would also like for Nainggolan to join Inter, given the origins of the boy’s father. A decisive move, because Moratti has virtually knocked Roma, who had already offered 8.5 million and the co-ownership of two youngsters, out of the race. Inter are ready to offer a cash amount plus a loan of Samuele Longo with the option to purchase for half of the Belgian midfielder. The attacker is liked by Cellino, who would like to see him in his team, and this could also be a chance for Longo to show his quality by finding space to play. The two sides are thinking. Now Inter is ahead.

Nainggolan only wants Inter as Moratti looking to please Mazzarri

Alfredo Pedulla, transfer market expert, discusses the situation of Nainggolan and Inter on his website. Here are his words on the deal which hangs more and more in the favor of the Nerazzurri.

“Radja Nainggolan is waiting for Inter and it is not disrespectful to Cagliari, it is just that the Nerazzurri as a solution is one that intrigues him the most. Roma tried and maybe they will give it another shot but there is no negotiation between both parties right now. Already a few days ago, I anticipated that Inter are studying ways to make an offer that will satisfy Cellino, perhaps by including a player that Cagliari like. The Belgian midfielder of Indonesian origin has always been the first name on the list of Walter Mazzarri. Other clubs might strike again soon but Moratti is looking to please his new coach.”

Galatasaray looking to seal Wellington deal

Galatasaray are looking to seal the deal for Sao Paulo midfielder Wellington. As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the club sporting director Bulent Tulun is in Brazil to close the deal. Also, according to Turkish newspaper Kirikhan Haber, the player will come to Galatasaray on loan (fee for this loan is 2 million) with the right to purchase at 9 million, five-year contract at 1.8 million euros per year. Decisive mediation of Taffarel, former goalkeeper of Gala and the Brazilian national team.

Pedulla: “Inter overtake Juventus for Kolarov”

As revealed by transfer market expert, Alfredo Pedulla during the program SportItalia, Inter have turned their attention back to Aleksandar Kolarov. The Nerazzurri now seem to have taken the lead in the race for the Serbian player.

OFFICIAL – Paulinho to Tottenham for 20 millions

Now it’s official: Paulinho, the Brazilian midfielder who in recent years has been the object of desire of Inter, flies to the Premier League where he will defend the colors of Tottenham Hostpurs. The announcement was made by the London club through its Twitter profile, together with the first words of the Spurs player Paulinho: “I am very happy and excited to have joined Spurs. It’s a huge pleasure for my career to be at a club as big as Tottenham.” The player has cost Tottenham’s new manager Franco Baldini an amount equal to 20 million euro.

Mega offer for Ranocchia from Zenit

The central defender who is also targeted by Juventus and Manchester United has recently sparked interested from Zenit manager Luciano Spalletti. The former Roma and Udinese coach is determined to lure the 25 year-old to St. Petersburg in the coming days and has reportedly offered a huge amount of money for the Italy international, around €18 million. Due to Bruno Alves’s recent departure from the Russian club to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, Spalletti is rushing to find a replacement and the club who spent €40 million on Brazil international Hulk would have no problem in splashing 18 million on the Inter number 23.

Icardi set to join Inter in co-ownership deal

The 20 year-old striker’s move to the Nerazzurri will become official by Monday, July 8. Inter have reached an agreement with Sampdoria and are expected to pay €6 million for half of the former La Masia youth player’s card this transfer window. The other half will be bought by the end of next season. Icardi is also very likely to choose the vacant number nine as his kit number for next season in the blue and black.

Icardi: “No. 9 is a big challenge! Mazzarri promises that..”

Mauro Icardi is ready, especially for the workloads that this upcoming training camp for the upcoming season has in store for him: a great new adventure for the 20 year-old Argentinian. Inter dreamed of him, and now it is reality. Icardi’s transfer will be official next Monday (July 8), but the Argentinian is not rushed: “I did not expect everything to happen so quickly – he explains. I find myself in a great team like Inter in just two years. I’m only 20 years old, but leaving home so young helped me a lot actually. There is no pressure regarding how much Inter has spent on me, for all I know is that I must be in Milan on Monday to start the work.”

The pressure does not come from money, but Maurito’s choice for his shirt number might be. Choosing the legendary number 9, previously worn by the likes of Ronaldo, Julio Cruz, and Samuel Eto’o, Icardi said: “Coach Mazzarri promised me that I’ll be an important part of his plan, and I hope I don’t disappoint. Taking out number 9 is a big challenge in a team like Inter, but it doesn’t scare me. I want to score goals and fight for the Scudetto.” Inter is not the only team in the striker’s head, “To achieve a place in the national team, I must first to well at Inter. Going to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup with Albiceleste would be awesome. I want to differ myself from Carlos Tevez, Gonzalo Higuain, and Diego Milito.”

“Before signing for Inter, there were so many teams on me, but that’s not important. Now I only want to force myself to work for Inter in the next five years. The Italian league is more balanced than their Spanish counterpart, where only Real Madrid and Barcelona to compete,” he ended.

Gomez: “Inter? A dream”

Alejandro Gomez is more and more closer to a departure away from Catania. In an interview with Goal.com Argentinia, El Papu discusses his future.

“My future? Both Atletico Madrid and Inter are great clubs and it is a dream to have been linked to them. I would love to start training with my new club but for now, I have to go back to Catania.”

Cittadella director: “Alborno has quality and can do well here”

Speaking to the microphones of TuttoMercatoWeb, Cittadella sporting director Stefano Marchetti reveals interest in Inter player Rodrigo Alborno, who was previously loaned to Serie B side Novara: “The kid has quality. History shows that Cittadella helped many youngsters grow up, due to ideal environment.”

Sky – Contact Milan-Jakarta. Moratti was in London, but..

Here come the decisive hours of Inter-Erick Thohir saga. Inter president Massimo Moratti is considering whether or not giving the Indonesian media tycoon majority of Inter’s share. Massimiliano Nebuloni, Sky journalist, reports: “Moratti was in London for the weekend. I don’t think his presence is for a meeting with Thohir; he could be there to watch Rolling Stones concert. However, contact between Milan and Jakarta continues. The president’s family also keeps giving more and more thought for the decision. Moratti could still be president, an honorary one it is.”

La Repubblica – Nainggolan? Inter are pushing while Roma are tired

The challenge between Inter and Roma for Radja Nainggolan continues. According to La Repubblica, “Inter are being very urgent and pressing with both the player and his club Cagliari. Mazzarri considers the Belgian midfielder very fundamental in what he wants to do. Meanwhile in Trigoria (training ground of Roma), they are tired of waiting on Cellino to decide what to do with Nainggolan.”

Perhaps Roma are backing down and Inter seem to be the favorite at the moment.

“Long negotiation” between Inter and Basel for Dragovic

As expected, Aleksandar Dragovic did not take part in the friendly between Basel and Fortuna Dusseldof (3-0 for Basel). The club wanted to “save” the Austrian defender as both them and Inter are in talks and working towards an agreement. However, according to Basler Zeitung, this is going to be a long negotiation.

Half of Serie A interested in Longo. Will leave Inter but…

Inter still consider Samuele Longo as a part of their future as a result, the Nerazzurri absolutely do not want to let him go outright or even in co-ownership deal. However, that being said, with the arrival of Icardi and Belfodil, the young Italian forward is going to leave Inter this summer but just only on loan. Half of serie A have shown interest in the player and particularly Verona in the last hours.

Inter loaned Alibec to Bologna

MILAN - FC Internazionale has reached an agreement with Bologna FC for the loan transfer of Denis Alibec. The deal includes an option for Bologna to purchase half of the Romanian striker’s registration rights.

Tuttosport – Not only Isla, Inter also want Lichtsteiner

There is not only Mauricio Isla in the thought of Inter management. According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are very interested in Stephan Lichtsteiner. The Swiss winger has done very well with the Bianconeri after making the move from Lazio.

Sky – Inter decided to let go of Cassano after the fight with Stramaccioni. Mazzarri…

Cassano is now a Parma player. The Bari born player said that Mazzarri, at first, promised him a starting spot but then swallowed his words. To explain the situation as well as the player’s departure, here is Sky journalist Massimiliano Nebuloni.

“After the fight with Stramaccioni, the club decided to sell Cassano. Then the opportunity to exchange him with Belfodil emerged. The relationship in the dressing look was not as good as before and Mazzarri has nothing to do with his sale. The coach is telling the truth.”

Guarin after vacation: “My next goal is Inter”

Fredy Guarin only wants Inter. The Colombian midfielder is now back in Milan to get ready for training camp on Monday with the new coach in Walter Mazzarri.

“Thanks to my family and friends for being there on this unforgettable vacation. I love them all and I huge them all. The next goal is Inter,” written by Guarin on this Twitter account.

The Inter number 14 remains heavily linked to a move away from Inter but with a positive camp, perhaps Mazzarri will decided to keep Guarin here for next season.

Decision time for Stankovic: retirement or accepting other offers

Dejan Stankovic is officially leaving Inter. After his announcement which can be found on Inter.it, the player now has two options according to Sky. The first is retirement for the 35 year-old (will turn 35 in September) and the second is to consider other offers from the MLS, UAE and Serbia, specifically Red Star, his former club.

Signing Wellington does not exclude Nainggolan

Wellington or Nainggolan, Nainggolan or Wellington, or better yet… what about both? According to Sport Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, the possible acquisition of Wellington, 22 year-old Sao Paulo midfielder, does not exclude Radja Nainggolan since the two are completely different players.

Inter bid €10 million on Stephan Lichtsteiner

According to Tuttosport, Inter have dumped the idea of acquiring the services of Juventus right midfielder Mauricio Isla and now are interested in the other Bianconeri right wing back, Stephan Lichtsteiner. The 29 year-old Switzerland international joined the Turin based club in 2011 and has since played 63 games and has scored six goals, he has since established himself as one of best Juventus players of the past two seasons. Mazzarri is determined to sign the Swiss as soon as possible as Inter have already launched a bid of around €10 million for the former Lazio player.

Tuttosport – Juventus interested in Basta

According to the Turin based newspaper, the Bianconeri are also interested in former Inter target and Udinese right wing back, Dusan Basta. The 28 year-old Serbia international is expected to replace either Mauricio Isla or Stephan Lichtsteiner if one of the two leave the Serie A champions this summer transfer window. Isla and Lichtsteiner are both Inter targets and if either one of them join the Nerazzurri, Basta may take their place.

Botta transfer official by next week

The 23 year-old Argentine winger/trequartista will be in Milan by next weekend and is expected to take a medical, sign the contract and be presented with other recent Nerazzurri signings on the same weekend. The former Club Atlético Tigre player will join Inter on a free transfer this transfer window since the player and the club have already reached a verbal agreement just months prior to July 1.

CdS: Three English teams on Ranocchia

According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia is being followed by three teams in the English Premier League.

As always, there is Manchester United, but now there is word of the London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal vying for his signature. This could start a bidding war, and if Inter have decided that the Italian defender must be sacrificed, a bidding war between several rich clubs would only see Inter as winners.

Todo Futbol: Agreement between Inter & Juve for Isla

The Chilean service Todo Futbol breaks the story that Inter and Juventus have come to agreement on a deal for Mauricio Isla.

Meetings in the upcoming days should finalize a deal by as early as next week. This report is in direct contradiction to the Tuttusport story of Inter making a 10m EUR offer for Lichtsteiner. This also refutes the claims yesterday that Juve wanted 8m for half the player’s card.

The Chilean paper claims that Inter and Juve have met in the middle at 6.5m EUR for half of Isla’s rights. Inter were offering 5.5m, and Juve wanted 7.5m, so claims are that a middle ground has been met. Juventus want money to invest in Ogbonna, and Inter want their right-winger, so this deal would serve both sides well. We await further confirmation at this moment.

“Hernanes is not for sale”

According to Lazio chief director, Igli Tare the Brazil international is not for sale and is also keen on staying in Rome. The 28 year-old trequartista has been recently linked with clubs such as. Inter, Real Madrid and PSG but would rather stay at the Stadio Olimpico. The Biancocelesti sporting director also mentioned that if a great offer comes in for any Lazio player in general, the club will indeed take it. Since July 1, the Rome based club have only signed two players in Lucas Biglia and Felipe Anderson, both of them being center midfielders… Are they there to replace the Brazilian?

Here is Inter’s offer for Nainggolan

According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Nerazzurri have offered €7-8 million plus the co-ownership of 21 year-old striker, Samuele Longo and a season-long loan of Ghana U-20 international, Alfred Duncan. Marco Branca and Cagliari owner, Massimo Cellino had a short meeting over lunch yesterday about the possible transfer of the Belgian holding midfielder to the Giuseppe Meazza and during that time Branca apparently proposed this offer to the Sardinian club’s supremo. Cellino is now evaluating the offer and will respond to it in the coming days.

Pedulla: “Nainggolan resists because he wants Inter”

Straight from his editorial piece on Tutto Mercato Web, Alfredo Pedulla discusses the situation of Radja Nainggolan and Inter.

“Nainggolan resists as he only wants Inter. The player knows that Roma can return at any time but the rejection of Cagliari president Massimo Cellino is definitely a positive regarding possible future at Inter.”

Longo renewed until 2018 with contractual adjustment

Renewal with contractual adjustment. Samuele Longo is linked at Inter until at least 2018. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the young forward will now make 400k euros a season. Longo will leave with the team for training camp and Mazzarri will evaluate the player so that he can have a clear idea on what to do with the forward. Chances are Longo is leaving on loan with many teams have shown interest.

Nainggolan remains number one target for midfield. Isla…

Inter are looking for a winger and a midfielder in this summer transfer window. This is the focus of the Nerazzurri as Walter Mazzarri has made the requests to improve the team.

“Inter must close a signing in the midfield. The first name is Nainggolan with Wellington as an alternative. Even for the Brazilian, there is strong competition as well as the distance in terms of what Inter have offered and the value Sao Paulo are asking. For the winger position, Isla remains the more likely option than any other,” Sky reporter Sugoni.

Cagliari set fixed price for Nainggolan: 16 million euros

These are the decisive hours for the arrival of Radja Nainggolan at Inter. Cagliari president Massimo Cellino already has clear ideas on how much he would want for his midfielder. According to sources, the Rossoblu want to make at least 16 million euros and that could come from many ways: cash or cash plus players in exchange. In this deal, Inter can send Samuele Longo to Cagliari with the formula of loan with right to purchase half of the Italian.

Inter reached agreement with Nainggolan. Now will talk to Cagliari

Inter are always getting closer to Radja Nainggolan. Yesterday, as reported by Tuttosport, a meeting between Massimo Cellino and Marco Branca is expected very soon for the Cagliari midfielder. The first step of negotiation has already gone into place as Inter have already reached agreement with the player for a contract until 2018 at 1.5 million plus bonus per season. The biggest obstacle remains between both clubs because Cellino has set a real high price tag of 18 million for the player.

Agreement Sao Paulo and Galatasaray for Wellington

It was a decisive push by Galatasaray in the race for Wellington. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turkish club has reached an agreement with Sao Paulo for the transfer of the midfielder, one that is considered by Inter as an alternative to Radja Nainggolan. The Brazilian is set to go to Galatasaray on loan (2 million) with option to purchase at 8.

No training camp for Schelotto and Silvestre as Inter set to leave them home

Matias Silvestre and Ezequiel Schelotto are not going with their teammates to training camp in Pinzolo. To reveal this news is Matteo Barzaghi, straight from Sky Sport 24 studio. The decision has also been announced to both players who have the “for sale” status at this point. The Argentinian defender is still evaluating the hypothesis of Parma with the Gialloblu management being very optimistic in his arrival. As for the Argentinian winger, there will be a meeting in the afternoon between his agents and Inter management. The feeling is that his adventure at Inter is already over after just six months.

Contact Branca and Nainggolan’s agent but no agreement between both clubs yet

Mario Giunta, Sky transfer expert, discusses negotiations between Inter and Cagliari for Radja Nainggolan. ”There is still no agreement but Inter are trying. Branca has talked to the agent just like Roma did. Negotiations must still be unblocked by both of the clubs,” said Giunta. Sources suggest that after the meeting that took place yesterday, progress has been made for the Belgian midfielder.

CdS – Inter ready to close the deal for Nainggolan

The number one goal is Radja Nainggolan. Inter have every intention to close the deal for the Belgian of Cagliari who could play in all three roles in the 3-5-2 of Walter Mazzarri (three in the midfield). The meeting yesterday in Sardinia between Marco Branca, the player, and his agent was very positive. Cellino wants to close the deal as well and this is why Cagliari gave Nainggolan permission to speak to Inter. The Nerazzurri are ready to include Longo in this negotiation (half of Longo was valued at 6 million last season). Benassi will not be as he is going to Livorno on loan.

Agent confirms: “Cagliari want Bardi for Nainggolan”

Inter are pushing hard for Radja Nainggolan and in return, Cagliari are asking for Francesco Bardi, the U-21 Italian national team goalkeeper. In an interview with FC Inter News, agent Vincenzo Rispoli, talks about his client and the future.

Ausilio met with Livorno yesterday, was there talk of Bardi?
“I was not there but yes, they talked about it. Livorno are very interested and now we will see if this situation will evolve in a positive way in the next few days. There is no certainty that the deal will go ahead.”

Cagliari perhaps could enter into the race?
“I know that Cagliari are interested. They want him in a co-ownership deal. Inter, however, have already rejected this idea and said no to all the clubs, including Sampdoria, because they want to keep Bardi’s full ownership.”

Do they want him for Nainggolan?
“Yes, they have asked both me and Inter. Though, the Nerazzurri are only thinking of loan and that’s it. For this reason, it is a difficult option for now.”

Sky – Here is the latest on Schelotto after meeting Branca

The future of Ezequiel Schelotto is anywhere but here at Inter. Late afternoon, there was a meeting between the player and Inter technical director Marco Branca to find a solution that satisfies both parties. Here is Silvia Vallini to update us the latest on this situation.

“The player just came out of Branca’s office and the meeting lasted for an hour. The player wanted to understand the coach’s choice to exclude him from training camp. The news did not come as a surprise and Schelotto was in the headquarters of Inter with his girlfriend and also agent. There was talk of Torino and Roma. The player wants to go on loan to play for a possible return to Inter. The Nerazzurri want to meet his demand and we could have an agreement pretty soon.”

Agent: “Yes, Schelotto is leaving Inter”

“It was a decisive and cordial meeting. The player was dumbfounded at the decision to not taking him to training camp. Everything was clarified and he now understands the reasons for that.”

That was Ezequiel Schelotto’s agent Daniele Boaglio talking to FC Inter News regarding what is next after meeting with Inter director Branca.

“The two sides wanted to find a good solution for each other. Branca and Ausilio believe in the player and only want to give him out on loan so that he can demonstrate his qualities. There is the willingness on Schelotto’s part to train at Pinetina with those that did not receive a call as we are following the guidelines of Inter.”

Did you guys talk about future destinations?
“No, not now. We just talked about what is going on in Italy and abroad. We are trying to find a solution as quickly as possible so that he can get to know his new teammates right away.”

What are you preferences over Italy?
“Spain or Germany is number one and then England. Must match his technical and physical qualities. However, we will keep an option to return to Inter.”

Mazzarri wanted him at Napoli. Why has the situation changed?
“That is not an issue. We have been noted that the coach does not want him anymore. He has made his choices. The club is behind the coach’s decision but it continues to believe in this investment.”

Sao Paulo reached agreement with Galatasaray but Wellington wants Inter

Wellington is the first alternative that Inter have to Nainggolan. And now, the Nerazzurri are risking to lose the Brazilian midfielder. Luca Marchetti, Sky transfer expert, says that “dealing for Wellington is very complicated for Inter. Sao Paulo already have an agreement with Galatasaray and now the Turkish must do the same with the player, who prefers to play for Inter.”

These are crucial days for the signing of Mauricio Isla. Tomorrow, according to multiple reports by FCINTER1908.IT, there is a meeting scheduled between the Chilean wingback’s agent and Marco Branca in Milan.

The intention of Inter’s management is to accelerate negotiations for the player so that they can have him at Mazzarri’s disposal as soon as possible. The hope, as stated by FCINTER1908.IT, is to close the deal by the end of the week for a price in the range of 6 to 6.5 million euros. In the midst of these talks are less than ideal relationships between Inter and Juve, stressing the need for prudence in any business going forward.

Moratti talks new era, transfer market and Erick Thohir

MILAN – This is what president Moratti had to say when approached by journalists as he arrived at ‘Pirelli Corso Venezia’ this evening for the launch of the new ‘Solo Inter’ store.

President Moratti, Walter Mazzarri has made a great impression on the players. Guarin spoke about his ‘hunger’ and ‘intensity’. What do you think of the new coach?
“I hope that’s the case. We brought Mazzarri in precisely because he has those qualities and I think that will have an effect on the players – they wanted more intensity in training and in the project.”

What do you think is Mazzarri’s greatest asset?
“He works very hard. And he’s good at it too because he achieves excellent results through hard work.”

Are Inter going to buy any more players? Do you think that’s it now or are you still working on a thing or two?
“We’re only at the start of July, there’s plenty of time between now and the end of August. The most interesting deals often come about towards the end.”

Silvio Berlusconi said AC Milan are good enough to win the Scudetto. What about Inter?
“I’ve already spoken to the fans about this. I think if teams apply themselves properly they can go a long way. Juve seem to be a notch above the rest at the moment.”

Is Andrea Ranocchia not for sale?
“They’re all not for sale because I want Mazzarri to take a good look at them first and figure out what works best for him.”

Javier Zanetti said there’s no Inter without Massimo Moratti. Could there be an Inter without Massimo Moratti?
“One day that will have to happen… [smiling]. Zanetti is always so nice. For the time being I don’t see any alternatives.”

Mauro Icardi’s signing was confirmed today. What kind of an investment was he?
“I think both he and Belfodil are going to be good investments because they were the two most interesting strikers last term. We got both of them, we’ll see.”

Can you give us any news about the negotiations with Erick Thohir?
“No, why don’t you give me the news [smiling]?”

Can the fans expect a top player?
“One could arrive. It could also depend on how Mazzarri’s early days with the club go, so we’ll see.”

Regarding Thohir, you said we’re still in the first round and not close to the KO. Does the possible sale of the club feel like a KO to you?
“No. We’re in the first round, although many are expecting a knockout. Perhaps I said that because psychologically I was thinking about it in that way.”

We’re getting to know Thohir through various news reports. What impression has he made on you and how have you got to know this investor?
“For the moment, I know him as a respectable person who comes from a family of important industrialists, but nothing more than that. Personally I don’t know him well, not well enough. And then I have to say that we’re having these discussions, but honestly if it’s not the first round then it’s the second.”

How will this issue be resolved with the Chinese? Will there be a penalty for non-compliance of agreements?
“That’s rather an old matter. I don’t know how it will be worked out. We’re discussing it. But there’s also a lot of friendship and esteem involved, so I think we’ll find a solution.”

Are you thinking about a penalty? Is a sponsorship likely?
“Right now we can’t put deadlines on anything. Deadlines are always given but then exceeded by so many situations that come up. So we’ll see.”

But is your intention still to sell a minority?
“The intention is to negotiate and see if the two of us can come to a common understanding. After that things will be clearer.”

As for the transfer market, could Isla be signed? How are relations with Juventus?
“Relations with Juventus are good, but sometimes good relations are not enough.”

And where are we at with Nainggolan?
“We have good relations with Cagliari. It seems to me there has been a lot of talk regarding Nainggolan, yet there’s very little to go on.”

However, Wellington is putting a stop to it because the player has not only verbal but total agreement with Inter as we have anticipated.

“The Nerazzurri, as we all know, are also strongly on Nainggolan (the two players are not excluding one another because they both have different characteristics) but it is clear that Inter will have to hurry up and find an agreement with Sao Paulo for a figure of around six million euros otherwise, Galatasaray could very well match or even exceed the offer of Moratti.”

Basel sporting director Georg Heitz has confirmed that the Swiss club and Inter have found an agreement for the transfer of Aleksandar Dragovic in black and blue.

“We already have a verbal agreement with Inter for Dragovic. We are just a bit irritated that nothing was actually concrete for a short amount of time. The player? For him, this is not a simple moment to concentrate on Basel. We are still missing all the written documents and are waiting for them every single day. Perhaps for them (Inter), Basel are just a small club.”

Dragovic is very looking forward to be able to attend training camp with his new club but Inter are waiting to trim down the defensive department (Ranocchia, Chivu, and Silvestre, one of which will have to go). The agreement should cost the Nerazzurri about 8 million euros.

Inter’s Eremenko bid rejected

According to Russian high-circulation newspaper Izvestia, Inter’s initial offer for Rubin Kazan and Finland trequartista, Roman Eremenko has recently been rejected. The Russian newspaper reports that the Nerazzurri offered what seemed to be around €10 million for the Finland international but the Kazan based club quickly rebuffed the offer by countering it and demanding that nothing less than a €20 million offer could persuade the former Udinese playmaker away from the Russian Football Premier League giants. Due to to the Russian club’s rash decision Inter have reportedly lost interested in 26 year-old for now and until the two clubs find an agreement in the near future, the idea of Eremenko at Inter will quickly fade away.

Ajaccio very interested in Chivu

The Ligue 1 club was hoping to sign Colombian center back Mario Yepes this transfer window but the 37 year-old former Milan player opted for a move to Bergamo club, Atalanta instead. The French club have now set their sights on signing Inter center back Cristian Chivu and are willing to make him the highest payed player at the club where former Nerazzurri striker, and fellow Romanian Adrian Mutu plays. According to French newspaper, L’Equipe, Ajaccio have already launched a bid for the 32 year-old Inter defender and representatives of the club have reportedly already landed in Milan to find an agreement between the two clubs and eventually secure the proposed transfer.

Man United willing to splash €25 million on Ranocchia

According to British newspaper Daily Express, manager of Manchester United, David Moyes will stop at nothing to sign Inter 25 year-old center back, Andrea Ranocchia. Although, Nerazzurri president, Massimo Moratti has repeatedly stated that Ranocchia and Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarín are off-limits, the head coach of the Barclays Premier League reigning champions is set to bid €25 million for the Italy international in the near future.

Malaga Inquires About Kuzmanovic

Zdravko Kuzmanovic is drifting further and further away from Inter, according to the latest report by Alfredo Pedulla for Sportitalia, in the last few hours Malaga has asked about his availability. The Serbian is liked abroad and could leave in the coming weeks.

Inter Wanted Zuniga, But He Wants Juve

Juan Camilo Zuniga seems closer to Juventus. The Colombian, as revealed by Alfredo Pedulla, has attracted the interest of Inter and of Walter Mazzarri, “but he has always wanted to work alongside Antonio Conte” said the journalist.

Inter already have replacements ready for Kuzmanovic. Here are three options…

Inter are working on selling Serbian midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic as the player has a lot of offers coming in especially from abroad. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport interest coming West Ham United of Sam Allardyce is very serious. The English club is ready to spend around 5.5 million euros and it is clear that Inter can invest very well with this type of money. The paper also brings up three possible replacements in Antonio Nocerino, Luca Marrone and Wellington when Kuzmanovic leaves the club.

GdS – Inter thinking of Alessandro Florenzi

The name of Alessandro Florenzi is back in the rumors as a candidate for the Inter midfield. The Roma player occasionally resurfaces and the Gazzetta dello Sport believes that Inter “have a thought about Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi, the name that is back in the last few hours but this seems to be a complicated and difficult situation.”

Schelotto and Silvestre on the way out, here’s the situation

The future of Schelotto and Silvestre are far away from Appiano Gentile. Assuring us this is the Corriere dello Sport which explains how the two players have concrete offers in Serie A. The Argentinian winger has Chievo as the favorite to land him next season while in a few days there should be a meeting with Genoa for the defender. Both are not in the technical project of Walter Mazzarri.

Mazzarri set to meet Moratti after training camp. Will ask for…

According to the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, after Pinzolo, Mazzarri will have a transfer market meeting with Branca and Moratti to define the last few requests to complete this squad. The coach will outline the characteristics that are still lacking in this club, those that belong to Radja Nainggolan.

Here are the players leaving Inter

Tuttosport has drawn up a list of outgoing players at Inter as well as their most likely destination. The first is Ezequiel Schelotto and of course Chievo seem to be the favorite at the moment. Silvestre is likely to go to Genoa and Kuzmanovic is divided between Malaga and West Ham. Young Inter forward Samuele Longo will also leave to gain experience with Livorno and Verona as most likely destinations.

With Thohir, Nainggolan will choose Inter

According to Tuttosport, with the arrival of Erick Thohir, we can see real progress in negotiations for Nainggolan. The Indo-Belgian midfielder is on top of his list and with the origin as an Indonesian, that makes him an ideal signing for the Nerazzurri.

For the Cagliari midfielder there are many potential suitors already lined up. After Roma, there are now Zenit and Fiorentina. The Nerazzurri, however, have the biggest advantage of them all once management becomes Indonesian. At that point, this decision is all about the heart of Nainggolan who would definitely choose Inter over others.

Milan will try for Ranocchia late August

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Milan will keep the headlights pointed at Andrea Ranocchia as the Rossoneri could reopen talks with Inter if they are unable to get Gabriel Paletta.

“However, a real attempt (for Ranocchia) will be made late August in the hope that Inter would lower demand for the Italian defender,” reported by the Corriere dello Sport.

Serbian source – Inter have signed Dragovic

While in Italy, this rumor seems to have died down a bit but in Austria, the transfer of Aleksandar Dragovic to Inter is practically done. This is being reported by Profil, an important Austrian magazine. In an article analyzing the growth of Austrian football, Profil has this to say regarding the Basel defender.

“Alaba is a star at Bayern, Hosiner of Austria Vienna is liked very much at Hoffenheim while Dragovic will go from Basel to Inter.”

Sky – Isla to Inter extremely close

This endless negotiation may close today.

“Mauricio Isla to Inter, we are extremely close. The distance between both clubs is now very minimal while the Chilean has lowered his wage in order to join the Nerazzurri. At the same time, Udinese would never want to complicate this negotiation even more and prevent this transfer from happening. Isla, meanwhile, is no longer a part of Juventus project and yesterday was booed by the fans at the moment of his substitution. There should be another meeting today, one that can close everything.”

Mauricio Isla to Inter, official announcement today?

According to Francesco Cosatti, Sky reporter at Chatillion (Juve training ground), today could be the key day for the transfer of Isla to Inter. Here are his words as he also speaks of potential announcement today.

“Today, there was a training session closed to the public. Isla was with the team but will soon leave camp in Chatillion to move to Pinzolo. Already today we could have an official announcement for his move to Inter.”

Juve blocked Isla’s transfer to Inter

It seems like this saga will continue to last for at least a few more days. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, negotiations with Juventus have stopped as the Bianconeri are showing reluctancy in letting go of their Chilean winger Mauricio Isla. The reason seems to be that Juventus coach Antonio Conte is not convinced of this move and so after so much progress made over the last few days, we have actually taken a step back in negotiations.

Here is why Juve have stopped negotiations with Inter for Isla

As reported moments ago, talks have slowed down considerably between Juventus and Inter for Mauricio Isla. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa, “Juventus have taken a step back in negotiations and agreement with Inter is no more. Conte wants to sign Zuniga first before letting go of the Chilean.”

In Spain – A new target for Inter’s midfield

According to reports from Fichajes.com, Inter would be thinking of a new target for their midfield. It is Ryad Boudebouz, 23 year-old Sochaux player. Last year he played 35 games in Ligue 1, scoring 4 goals. Inter have a chance to sign the Algerian who’s contract ends in 2014, also Fichajes claims that the player will travel to Milan in the coming days to close the deal.

Montoya: “Ignoring Inter to stay at Barca”

Speaking at a press conference, Martin Montoya comments on the rumors that Inter have approached him this transfer season. The player did confirm Inter interest as well as the intention to stay at Barcelona.

“Yes, I have heard from Inter. However, I have always talked to my agent and told him that I want to stay at Barcelona,” said Montoya.

Inter to cash in on Kuzmanovic to sign Florenzi?

Inter are looking to improve its midfield but the Nerazzurri will have to sell Kuzmanovic to finance whatever move that they are considering of doing next. The Serbian is very likely to leave Inter after just half a season. On him there is strong interest from West Ham who is willing to pay 5.5 million. According to Sport Mediaset, with that money in hand, Inter could start an assault to sign Alessandro Florenzi or Antonio Nocerino.

Le10Sport – Dani Alves to PSG, Van der Wiel to Inter?

According to a French source in Le 10 Sport, in just a few days, Dani Alves could be a PSG player. And when this happened, Gregory van der Wiel will become expandable. The Dutch winger will end up on the transfer market as his first season in Paris fell short of expectations and on him there is strong pressing from Inter. The hypothesis here is that Inter intend to ask for the player on loan.

Agent: “Juventus and Inter reached agreement for Isla. Here’s what happened…”

It seems practically done for Mauricio Isla and a medical was already booked in Pavia but this deal has come to a sudden stop. Speaking to FC Inter 1908, agent Claudio Vagheggi updates us with the latest news regarding his client.

Good evening Mr. Vagheggi, negotiations are collapsed?
“No, they have not collapsed however, it is not done.”

For economic reason?
“Absolutely not, the two sides agreed on everything. Economic agreement was reached.”

Then what happened?
“I do not know. Maybe Juventus want to think about it a bit more clearly.”

So it was Juve that stopped this deal?
“Last night, Juventus wanted to take 12 hours to reflect and now it will probably take more.”

Do you think that they wanted to sign another winger and that didn’t happen?
“I don’t know about this to comment.”

Can we expect a signature by tomorrow?
“I don’t think so. I am returning to Udine and I think that there will be more news soon. We will talk again on Monday.”
