I said under Mourinho that we would never win the CL with Ibrahimovic in our team....

I was a big fan of him at Inter - this is true - but I was a fan of his goalscoring, not him as a player. It was clear we were far too 1-D with him here, and actually if you look at some of the games he did singlehandedly win for us (e.g. Palermo with the free kick and the other goal) it was fucking obvious to anyone who wasnt 3 years old why we wouldn't succeed at the very top level with him.

I never said he was finished. He'll continue to bang in goals for years. But he'll never deliver on the top level, and that is what a world class player MUST DO to be considered world class

there are a lot of topstrikers nowadays but falcao is something else. he is one of the best poachers i have ever seen. he is truly world class. van persie, ibra, rooney are all a level lower.

ppl r under rating ibra big time. ibra is the best all rounded striker in the world like him or hate me. and is one of the best forwards i have seen in my life time. compare falcao with him when he achieves wat hes achieveed

Both are great players, world class or close to it, it's debatable.. But i'd pick Ibra. Around the same age, Ibra has done MUCH more than RVP. Yeah he is cunt and i'd very much like to kick his ass, but he is great, great player. Also, i woudln't say he failed at Barca, but it was simple, it didn't work, his style and Barcas style.

Ibra is like a one man team. Against weaker opponents you can just give him the ball and he'll deliver. With Sweden it's like that; they are ridiculously dependant on him. But he lacks that burst of pace or unpredictable movement Eto'o or Falcao has to get that valuable little space in big games against the best players. Which is better, it depends on what you value more.

RVP isn't dominant player like Ibra or superb against best defenders like Falcao and Eto'o. He is clearly number four of the mentioned players. Sorry for bringing up another name to this equation.

Why are we talking about Ibra, Falcao or RVP? Aren't they all like 40 million + Euro players? Well Falcao is at least $50 I doubt Atletico will sell him for less than they paid for him the way he is playing. Rooney and RVP can't shine Falcao's shoes, they are just in bigger NTs so they get more love. Falcao also doesn't hid in big games like big nose Ibra.
