Pajo 8===============D for Jovetic. Well, I am too.

Two scenarios:
1) Build attack around Pazzini. Add SS type like Jovetic, Rossi, Lavezzi. Invest in wide attackers with tendency to cross.
2) Build attack around Coutinho, Alvarez in a 3-1. Add wide forward to complete trident. Invest in future to replace Milito.

Personally I am a fan of #2 as it would be cheaper and call for a smaller amount of purchases. Quality wide players are hard to come by and are very infrequent among the top Italian sides. #2 would allow a fluctuation between a 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-1-2 and even a Xmas tree formation. Finding a quality replacement for Milito will be the most difficult as finding a mobile CF with his goal to game ratio is quite difficult. Doumbia (CSKA) is one of the best options in my opinion.

I don't think one can only consider Rossi as SS. He can easily be the main goalscorer in the 4-3-3 or the top man in 4-2-3-1. He's much like Eto'o.

Build a team around the would be poor, poor strategy. Do you remember a successful team with a striker like that in recent times? The only comparables are Inzaghi at Milan (but in and out of the team, also better than Pazzo) and Berbatov at ManU (never a certain starter, pathetic in big games, much like Pazzo, again, better than Pazzo probably).

Kind of pisses me off that we are linked to Tevez (idiot) and Lucas (a Kid) for similar prices we could get Jovetic for but we aren't linked to him at all

people can say be realistic but i douht Lucas will give us much more than Cou can and Tevez is a moron while Jovetic plays well in Serie A and is young

hopefully we get Isla though. im more bothered and worried about us getting rid of the players that aren't worth the wages than who's going to be coming in to be honest. wouldn't surprise me if we started next season with Chivu, Cordoba, Lucio, Forlan and Deki still taking a massive cut of next seasons wage bill

I don't think it as easy as make 30 million offer for Jovetic and get him. If it was, then I'd seen someone like Chelsea making offer already in January.

Don't underestimate the personality of Jovetic and well, Fiorentina too. They want to fix their team probably, to challenge for European spots and Jovetic is the perfect man to build it around. And Jovetic seems like a guy with very strong loyality, someone who'd choose his club very carefully if he leaves Fiorentina.

fair one, Its nice to see them try though. if the Viola had had a good season his value would be far higher

That's my reasoning. If there was ever a time when he'd want to move, it would be now. Fiorentina's season is beyond poor, he's young and talented, I wouldn't be surprised if he decided that he's already been too pacient.

If he decides to leave many clubs would be interested, of course, so Inter should be talking to him already.

seriously? this season alone gomez has 37 goals with bayern and huntelaar has 40 goals with schalke

just because mobile strikers have become the most common types of strikers in big clubs in these last ~5 years doesn't mean that target men are now obsolete

when UCL teams stopped playing traditional AM's for a few years it just made sneijder more effective when he played there because a lot of teams didn't know how to deal with him, all pazzini needs is confidence and proper service, two years ago gomez was 10 times worse than pazzini is now but when robben joined bayern he suddenly became the best goal scorer in the world

Gomez is more mobile, stronger and quicker than Pazzini.
