How much would Vargas cost? I'd say about 15 million euros. Lavezzi would cost 15 more, plus Pandev.

If Sneijder and Maicon are sold, then there should be enough money for buying both.

Then a 4-3-3 formation would be possible. James Rodriguez is also being observed but he's too young, I'd favor proven players.

Being realistic though, getting just 1 of those would be a great improvement.

hes one of the few players that justifies his wage, he wont get a striker of his quailty who earns less.

why people want us to sell out best/only goalscorer is beyond me. its not like his age is affecting him, his age shouldn't affect the way he plays as he dosn't depend on pace

Agreed with the others who said they'd rather have Lavezzi than Afellay. But Lavezzi is more expensive and if we can get Afellay for cheap than it is still a good deal, he's a very good player.

But with Lavezzi we can get 4x quality that with Affelay :challenge:

Yeah, and then we have no money for other transfers. Which one would you choose? Lavezzi and no other transfers or Afellay and couple other transfers? Or neither of these?

I don't think one can only consider Rossi as SS. He can easily be the main goalscorer in the 4-3-3 or the top man in 4-2-3-1. He's much like Eto'o.

Build a team around the :pazzini: would be poor, poor strategy. Do you remember a successful team with a striker like that in recent times? The only comparables are Inzaghi at Milan (but in and out of the team, also better than Pazzo) and Berbatov at ManU (never a certain starter, pathetic in big games, much like Pazzo, again, better than Pazzo probably).

Sampdoria built a quality squad around Pazzini and Cassano. Finished 4th, lost in UCL qualifiers to Werder, then the team was sold.

How about Rossi who should be cheaper than lavezzi but better quality than Afellay and still allows us to have a couple other transfers? That'd be ideal for me. I mean of course i would rather have Lavezzi and other transfers but that won't happen

I don't think Rossi would be cheaper than Lavezzi. His market value should be about the same as Sneijder.

Selling Milito makes no sense as he is our only good forward at this moment. If we really need to sell someone, then sell Pazzo who would bring in much more money.

As for forwards I just want Lavezzi.

Surely. It's just that Lavezzi cost almost 4x more than Afellay. :D
this is my reasoning. for the 8 mil... that one hell of deal.

rossi+afellay= same price as lavezzi

Actually no I'd rather have lavezzi over the combo of them both. If its Rossi and Isla then I'd probably take that.

im looking forward to seeing him playing rb. but in attack i think the comination of rossi and afellay could add more to our attack the any 2 fowards we have. and id much rather buy afellay and spend to 20 somewhat million else where. for instance a good cb cuz inter defense is the weakest point of of the team.

Justify his wage? That's HIGHLY debatable.. Eto'o was sold for his high wages and age.. Eto'o scored more and earned more..

If an offer comes for Milito we should not even hesitate to accept the same way we whored ourselves out to sell Eto'o..

Ehh I wouldn't be surprised if some club offered that or more. Rossi is an excellent forward that's in his mid 20's, the prime of a footballer's career.

Milito has scored 15 goals in 15 games this year, take his goals out of games and see where about we are in the standings. if we had bought Tevez or is we buy Rossi or get Balo back how much do you expect they will settle for? less than what milito is on ATM?

There's absolutely no need to make shit up.. Milito has 20 goals in 29 games.. with 7 goals coming from 2 games.. Take his goals out and we're shit - well -ier than we are now - I'm not denying that.. this does not mean Milito shouldn't be sold if an offer arrives.. He'll be earning so much well past his useful days,
