It would be a good idea to bring in Destro in a co-ownership and in exchange give them Castaignos, also in co-ownership. Then we'd have a more experienced striker and Castaignos would play more often.

But I agree about priorities. For me it would be: LB, CB, CM, CB (yes, again).

No need to bring Destro back yet. If he continues to show improvements then I wouldn't be opposed to him in the near future. Getting him this summer would just be silly though. He'd just be getting the same amount of playing time Luc has been getting and we'd just be wasting a year of his developement.

Don't give me that "training with a big club like Inter and it's champions would do him good" rubbish either. One of the dumbest arugements there is tbh. Young players develop with playing time and experience, not by rotting on the bench (or stands) every single week. You don't get better at sex by watching porn (though it does help in certain areas) You don't get better at driving by watching car chases in movies. You don't get better at milking at cow by drinking milk. It takes experience and real situations. Something Destro needs more of before he's even considered.

I dont fully agree with that.

Watching how a top class player moves and times his runs, etc, you learn from their experience. I mean, things like timing your runs, how to drag a marker out of position, all that sort of stuff can take years for a player to develop, you can learn it just as well in training as you can in a match. Of course theres no substitute for actual first team experience, but the idea that you dont learn anything by training next to class players is wrong.

If (and only if) just one striker will play at a time, then it's ok to have Milito, Pazzini and Castaignos as options. The problem is that all 3 of them are not reliable right now, but then again they're the best Inter can afford right now.

Will Kucka arrive? Will Sneijder remain? Cambiasso (DM), Poli (CM), Kucka (CM), Alvarez (AM RC) and Sneijder (AM LC) would be a good midfield. Too defensive since the squad lacks real wingers...

i think this is good reason to by half of his card. and ya, i think luc's decision to not be loan out has been a poor one. he really needs the time on the field.

Sad, But True Story.. but i really concern about pazzini, i don't want to replace milito these days.. offloading pazzini always be my priority and replace him with forward that can played well both as center forward and wide forward just like hulk..

bring HULK to inter these days, just like what i felt when Ronaldo Luiz came from barcelona

I dont agree that Destro is more experienced than Castaignos.

I would like to keep both Destro & Castaignos (And, for that, Longo) on co-ownership, whilst out on loan. Our front line next season should be something like Pazzini, Milito, (Alvarez, Coutinho, Lucas) and one more striker who will actually deliver.

Branca was asked about James Rodriguez from Porto, who previously was linked to us. He said that he often talks wit the president of Porto, but have never talked about James.

I think he's certainly more experienced than Castaignos. He's got somewhere near 40 appearances in Serie A between Genoa & Siena. It's nice that Luc played all those games at Feyenoord, but it's apples and oranges. If it's true that he rejected a loan move to Bologna/Cesena then he's been getting some bad advice.

Playing at lower table clubs fighting for relegation etc... And a lot of those games have been subbed on or off. Castaignos was basically a mainstay for a title-competing (if I;m right?) team in the Dutch league

I agree it is apples and oranges, but I think the experience Castaignos has there is better than the experience of Destro so far.

I believe Feyenoord was mid-table, at least last year. But even if Destro is playing for a relegation candidate, I still think the experience playing in Serie A, getting used to the style of play, facing Serie A defenses, etc. is more valuable. So maybe he's not more experienced, but I think the experience he does have is more relevant in terms of preparing him to play for Inter, if that makes sense.

Oh, I wont disagree with that.

I think, as players though, Castaignos is more complete overall. Perhaps Destro is, yes, more suited to Italian football.

Either way, neither ofo them have any business being at Inter next season. Co-ownership, or buy destro, but they both need to be out on loan playing week in week out.

Lucas will be a star for sure but I wouldn't bet on him making an instant impact, specially in Italy where he'd almost never have the same amount of space to play he has here.

I dunno. I think Lucas can make an instant impact. He might not do the same impact that, say, Kaka did, but he offers attributes we odnt currently have

If Lucas is for start used as a forward more, with little or no defensive duties and played in the same line up with Coutinho or Alvarez etc where he would have someone on the same wavelenght, I think he might instantly give good performances...

The problem however is. What if one of those gets injured...We don't have a decent sub for any of them..

Coutinho, Alvarez and Lucas are not consistent enough. Things could easily go either way. Comparing to the current season it would be an improvement nonetheless.

says who? Coutinho's been pretty good at Espanyol so far... I cant comment on Lucas, and Alvarez was looking pretty good before he got injured.

It also depends entirely on how the team is set up. With, say, Guarin and Poli behind them, they'll get the ball to their feet alot, and it gives the three of them really good chances to attack. I think we could really get a good formation here. Of course we'd need a few backup players, and its not obvious to suggest who, but it works on many levels..

We save money on salaries compared to what we pay now, we'd maybe still be in net profit after all the transfers, and its a much younger squad - arguably more talented, certainly more potential
