You are right. I believe Pepe was a beast in the latest El Classico in DM role. Hopefully Real don't get interested in Sahin.

Thats why I hate Madrid they are interested in all young and already proven players, and they just can't say no when the offer comes.

In my opinion Modric will go to Man u after they failed to get sneijder from Inter. MAn u offer 25 M pound for sneijder . WTH ?? with that kind of money we cant buy top CM as class as sneijder for his repalcement, forget it.
Beside Modric already proved at BPL which may be the point MAn U interest of him

Sneijder won't be sold....

In my opinion Pjanic would be a huge opportunity from the market,Lyon are ruining the guy this year (most of the time he's a sub of Gourcuff),I remember him as shining talent last year as playmaker

Just heard that Zidane recommended Eden Hazard (Lille, AMF, 20 yo) to Juve.
To be honest, I find it very strange that none of the big clubs are seriously hunting for him yet...
He's a pure attacking MF with a very good technique and good shot, a bit Cristiano Ronaldo-style, but obviously not that good (yet ;))

Some of his achievements:
-Made it to the Belgian NT at 17 years (although our team isn't top-notch, that's not bad IMO :p)
-Young player of the year in Ligue 1 (2008-2009, 2009-2010)
-Elected in team of the year in Ligue 1 (2009-2010)

Some more stats:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eden_Hazard

And ofcourse, for the fanboys, a nice youtube vid:

I agree, I also think Man Utd will go for Modric once they realize (if they already haven't) Sneijder costs simply too much. Mordic costs very much also but I think Man Utd have better muscles against Tottenham than what they have against Inter. Modric is probably more easier to talk to the idea of changing club than Sneijder.

True, he's still youngster but with a huge potential. Ancelotti tried to bring him in Chelsea but Lyon refused. After this season he will probably leave because he and Gourcuff can't work together. If Ancelotti will leave for Roma, I am sue that they will buy him.
Plus, he's EU citizen.

problem is everyone's focused on established CMs that other big clubs are already looking at, truth is there are players out there we could've got last summer on the cheap 8-15m... players like Tino Costa for example or Hernanes. We need to get it through our heads that Inter doesn't hold as much as appeal as Chelsea or Real Madrid. We can't compete in terms of prestige or money so why are we wasting time on Sahin, Schweinsteiger and Modric??

There other mids out there we could be looking at who would jump at the chance to come to inter and would do so at a reasonable price, for example...

Cana is a beast of a DMF, not so good at Galatasary but he just needs to the motivation i.e. playing with at big club. He reminds me a lot of Dacourt in his Roma days. cost = 8-10m

Biglia, anchorman and playmaker with anderlecht, only 23. Milan reportedly vying for him. cost = 7-10m

Defour, complete CMF with standard leige, top notch passing and nice long range shooting, liverpool and man u reportedly interest, cost = 7-10m

Kacar - insanely versatile midfielder, can play anywhere centrally, plays as a CB at hamburg, is a monster in set piece situations. cost = 8-10m

Banega - no need for an introduction, quality player and still very young. cost = 10-12m

Schaars - unspectacular DMF but solid and hardworking. good at keeping posssession. like van bommel only less annoying and doesn't tackle needlessly. cost = 5-10m

T. Janssen - impressive in both legs in UCL. 29 but only 5-10 million!!!

T. Costa cost 6-14m

not saying all the above are inter quality but at teh very least they're 10x better than kharja and mariga and the other garbage we usually dish out millions for (Muntari*cough*)

1 or 2 of the above and one other reject CMF for one of the big clubs (like a Snijder or VDV) and we're well on our way :) Anyway, the point of this was to show that we don't have to break the bank to build a competitive side. Didn't even take me long to compile this list. Wonder what the hell our scouts are doing.

Kacar is a pretty average player and horrible as CB in Hamburg. 8-10mil would be a joke.

Biglia isn't Inter material (yeah he's Argentine , but he's not that great)
Defour would be a great transfer; he's good, has leading capacities, can attack and defense. But he's injury prone unfortunately..
For our attacking midfield I would go for Axel Witsel of Standard Liege. He's really good and can play everywhere in the attack except for the striker position

I just hope that we will not see Kaka here. Moratti has the tendency to surprise us.

Biglia is no superstar, but we need a passer of his ability. Frankly, would rather him over Montolivo. anyway, point was to say we have options outside of Farbegas and Sahin.

Kaka did some amazing things vs Valencia last night. Was blown away actucally.

I honestly want Kaka to come. For 2 reasons: 1. Kaka has his quality. 2. I really want to see those Bilans upset again.

Yup, Vidal has become pure quality this season. Dynamic, great passing ability, winning tackles, can score etc. The perfect modern type DM. But currently it strongly looks like he will follow his current coach Jupp Heynckes to Bayern.

Most likely will, but the thing is that Bayern has already several quality DM, Schweinsteiger, gosh that Timoshuck(?), and that Brazilian fellow (too lazy to look up their names). But, regardless, Vidal has expressed his desire to follow Heynckes to Bayern.

Luiz Gustavo plays in defence for them, left fullback and partly as central defender as well. Bayern needs a new DM for sure, Schweinsteiger is worth since van Bommel has left. Vidal is exactly what they need and like you both said, BlueBaccus and dynasty27, Heynckes is a factor who makes it even more realistic that this transfer will happen.
