I don't get why we are going to pay 25+ million for macherano when we can ge Lass Diarra from Real Madrid for 8 million.....

Real Madrid players have a proven track record in our team... has any of them done badly?

I now Benitez wants his boys back but they cost to much money and aren't really worth the money

He signed for us on a free after his contract with Real expired, he could have signed anywhere. He was supposed to be part of the Ronaldo deal, but we never agreed a contract with him knowing we could get him for free a year later, and instead took the cash option from Real.

You need to have strategy and buy the players that fit it. They don't need to be super stars...
