tbh I din't believe this is true, muntari might go to wolfsburg but for 4-5 mils, wile we get barzagli in the deal. Overall it's not as bad as it looks, he's faster than chivu, and if he regains form he's better than oldies matrix and cafe

His price tag will be hefty though and Tottenhem wont let him leave in Jan.
In addition, he can't even play in this year's CL.
Impossible we will go for him this winter.

And these Bargazli rumors don't make a ton of sense. Lucio, Samuel, Matrix, Cordoba, Chivu... even if two or three are injured, there's plenty of cover. Cuchu can play in a pinch as well. Instead of looking for another CD, we should be focusing on improving our attack.

IMO there is really no point even looking for a Muntari replacement. Obiorah should be fine and really did give me hope for the future in DM and I've read that he is decent as a CB too.

The only signing we need is for attack, all other things remaining constant.

Matrix sucks and he will retire next season, and I think the same applies to Cordoba, except that he doesn't really suck, he's just decent.

Matrix sucks? That's a bit harsh man... The guy isn't world class anymore but definitely good to have on the bench. Hes an Inter legend no doubt...

He's a legend and everything, but he's not good enough to even have on the bench. He's always a liability. He has lost so much quality, mostly due injuries and age. I wish he was good enough, I really do...but he isn't. :/

Agreed but Lucio, Samuel and Chivu are the only ones I'm comfortable with. Next up is Matrix and Cuchu then it's straight on down to Rivas town where it gets ugly, but odds are we'll never be that desperate.
Although that said, Samuel,Matrix(?) and Cuchu have all suffered injuries already this season.

to be honest i don't think barzagli will be an upgrade to the squad, yes i know some thinks even i think he's now better than matrix. but we already have samuel, lucio, matrix, cordoba, chivu, even cambiasso can play there and who knows maybe obiora, we can also call ranocchia when ever we need or want him. so if it's free get barzagli but not for more than 1 million euro.

29 years old should be PEAKING as a central defender, but how was he playing recently? In my opinion we have Chivu who plays much better as a CENTRAL defender than a LEFT defender! Don't see the point of this signing but whatever... he's [like] for free + italian is a plus.

Say no to Barzagli. I would say yes to another Wolfsburg defender, Kjaer. Rannochia and Kjaer would be a interesting pair, may be the most talented center back pair. btw, it's just my dream though.

well said, but imo we should wait and see what goes on with benedetti, faraoni, and caldirola - they were all awesome xD
