Whops, did not see that coming - Suazo in Milan..:D

This probably means Eto'o would be hard to get and that he won't leave Barca, so I think our main target now is Ronaldinho..Sheva is also pretty much not a possibility anymore..

Suazo is a very god buy for me, proven striker in Italy, very fast and good shooter..Like most of you said, bench won't be too much of a problem for him either, so he could just be a perfect addition to our striking department..

As for Inter, I don't think they'll be able to sign Tevez, situation around him is pretty complicated and it looks to me like he might stay in England for another year..Should he leave, Real, Chelsea and others will be a though competition to beat for Inter..

Cassano seems to be a good candidate to join Inter now and it wouldn't be bad at all for Inter.. ;)

Youll see, tevez doesnt want to play in england anymore. Two possibilities for him: Real or Inter. Moratti will buy a big one, think of the centenary.... Branca has made graete moves the last years, so wait and see. Mercato has just begun.... An d Mercato closed for Milan LOL

Juventus have completed the signing of Udinese striker Vincenzo Iaquinta. Official!

We won't be going for him then.

Well this was clear. I dont like Iaquinta either....The deal was already made a few weeks ago, it lacked only officiality. I dunno, if this is a good buy for Juve, but it shows, that mercato is moving. The dance of forwards has begun.... ^^

I was just about to mention that name - Cassano. If Tevez is out of question as well, then Cassano is definitely one of the player who we could go for. The other reason being that R.Mancini admires the player and the management might want to make the coach happy after having failed to get Suazo nor Chivu (uptil now).

Tevez's situation is definitely complicated but Wittman, I do think that there's a very good chance of us signing him IF Moratti wants to. It had been reported earlier that a meeting had taken place with ?? who owns Tevez, so on. Nothin impossible huh, especially after this shocker !! :D

We were never interrested in him to start with.

Cassano could be an option but Moratti doesn't like him so it's unlikely. Tevez is moratti's choice. Whether he can actually pull it off we will have to wait and see.

The names being linked to us now are Tevexz (obviously), Henry and Cassano but Moratti is not too fond of him but since Mancio wants him I think Moratti should let him come.

I guess the only silver lining I see in this is that we might get Cassano now. Capello will most likely be the coach, and I think Cassano will leave.

I would go for Tevez over Cassano. But it's idiotic club's president chooses the transfer targets instead of team's coach who works with players all season long.

Of course, nothing is impossible with Moratti whether it is good or bad..:D

I still think Cassano would be a very good player for Inter cause he seems to be more than capable of taking the playmaking role which IMO both Tevez or Suazo couldn't..I'm not sure about his consistency and shape now though when he was in Italy, Cassano was really good..

Milan confirm Suazo swoop
Tuesday 19 June, 2007
European champions Milan have announced that they have agreed a deal with Cagliari to sign David Suazo.

The Rossoneri were rumoured to have pipped city rivals Inter with a late bid yesterday and that has been noted as reality by the club this morning.

“The Honduran attacker David Suazo will wear the Milan jersey next season,” a statement on the club’s website noted.

“His transfer from Cagliari into Rossonero was concluded after negotiations which took place last night.”

Cagliari chief Massimo Cellino has also confirmed the move. “I’ve signed a deal with Milan,” he simply noted at the Lega Calcio offices this morning.

“Inter chief Massimo Moratti? I have been trying to contact him since Thursday and was unable to speak with him.”

Suazo is understood to have cost the Champions League winners a sum in the region of £10m.

The Honduran, who will leave Cagliari after eight years in Sardinia, is reportedly being offered a £2.5m a year contract by the San Siro outfit.

The 27-year-old Suazo, who is already on holiday, was close to joining the Rossoneri last summer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
did not see this coming, i guess this means we're concentrating hard on tevez then

Thats the silver lining?! ;)

Suazo could have been perfect for us as he provides an element missing from our game..Its bad to lose him after all these negotiations. Its even worse that we lost him to Milan.:wth:

I hope the silver lining is in the shape of Tevez/Quaresma/and or one hell of a DM (Diarra?)

Wait a sec...

Galliani is still talking in conditional:
''E' molto probabile che Eto'o non arrivera' e quindi se chiuderemo la trattativa con Suazo abbiamo finito". Lo ha detto l'amministratore delegato del Milan Adriano Galliani che ha parlato del possibile arrivo dal Cagliari di David Suazo.

OF course it's unlikely that we can get him now, but despite the official statement, it's clear he hasn't signed yet.
Also, Cagliari president said that he agreed with Milan, so IF Suazo agrees as well, he'll sign for them.

he wouldve been perfect

not the biggest name, wouldve accepted the bench, had different characteristics to all our other strikers, it was basically all done and dusted...

our next targets? itd better be one of either tevez or henry

Well, it's only Suazo...we can now sign someone better

I don't belive that we need someone better, that we needed better we would try for better in the first place, Suazo was perfect for us and this is big blow for our transfer plans.

I agree with Hamed and Pod in everything even last two-three years we had perfect mercatos, this is something serios, same thing like Nesta was stolen and Moratti must punish someone because this will repeat and I am afraid that will be with Chivu and Barcelona.
