i wud prefer Andre Santos since Cissokho just failed a medical at Milan, and i've been watchin Brazil in the Confederations cup and Santos looks like a solid left back

And Cissokho has also said it's only Milan for him. And it sounded like a invented rumor, we would never invest 15m€ for a pure LB.

It's rumor Andre Santos' release clause would be just 6m€. Perfect for Inter, if we manage to ditch Maxwell for 8m€ or something.

i just recently read dat Moratti has stopped all interest in signing Carvalho and Deco........i have no problem with Deco staying where he is.......but i gotta problem with Carvalho we need another quality center back in our squad........we aren't strong enough to challenge europe yet.......Moratti is talkin shit

all in all.......we need about 4 more signing b4 the window closes........1 CB, 1LB(if Maxwell leaves).....1 more midfielder(WE DESPERATELY NEED A CREATIVE MIDFIELDER) and 1 FW( hopefully we will sign Arnautovic)

He didn't actually say that. What moratti said is we are good as we are. Some journo interpreted this as meaning he won't sign carvalho and deco. Moratti is doing his normal mercato talk, before august 31 he will have signed another 3/4 player.

Why do u want a LB for 6m when u have in Santon the most promising young LB Italy has seen for a while? And then, there are JZ and Chivu who can play LB if and when situation demands. I dont think we are a team who signs LB reserves for 6m ... let alone the 15m for Cissokho.

Well you might be right in this one. Actually it might be wise to do nothing with LB pos even after selling Maxwell. Santon or Zanetti can be the starter. Both of them can backup also right wing. Then Chivu can backup left wing.

So it would be

RB: Maicon (Zanetti, Santon)

LB: Santon (Zanetti, Chivu)

Not exactly two players for each position, but many players covering many positions.

Good point. So, we should sell Maxwell, Burdisso & Rivas and get 1 strong CB and our defense will be fine :yeay:

And I think Maxwell is very good, good Dribbling, passing and speed, and good crosser too. Defensively he can improve but he's not that bad at it either. I would prefer to keep him and forget about signing a LB, and focus on other areas we need improvement like mid and getting Cassano over here.

He won't even be second option. First choice at the end of last season was chivu when mou wanted to be defensive and santon when he wanted a bit more offense. Maxwell will need to do a lot to convince mou. And he is out unless he lowers his wage demands.

If the transfer was up to Me, I will but Samuel,Burdisso, Materazzi, Rivas inn auction and at any price I will sell them for
2 major reasons:

1- Reduce of the fucking salary
2- They are not playing and most of the season they are substitution or injured.


Why & Why to keep such a players, replace them with any other defenders.
