I couldn't care if he is from mars. He isn't good enough. And I certainly wouldn't trust that backstabbing traitor crappavaro's opinion on anything.

Lucio... he's one of those "I belong to Jesus" - Brazilians, no thanks.

I'm not sure about Barzagli, since I haven't seen him play too much. Mancini admires his talent though. I remember him saying that if he was to pick any player from the azzuri De Rossi and Barzagli would definitely be on his list.

You make it sound like they are in some kind of sect:D

Barzagli isn't good at all, just overrated because he is the next Italian hope. And I doubt there is someone who will be the next Cannavaro, as much as I hate him, Canna is one heck of a defender that we won't see for a while.

We are more than fine with Samuel, Chivu, Burdisso, Rivas and Cordoba (if he agrees to a bench place.) Carvalho I really like because he is one of those defenders that has an amazing sense of positioning, which means he can last at least 5-6 more years.

But if we get Carvalho then we should sell Burdisso.

I would love Carvalho at Inter, but we need to get rid of Burdisso, otherwise it would be a problem, of having too many defenders.

A Carvalho-Samuel duo sounds so good, with Matrix, Cordoba and Rivas as subs.

But defence should be in no way our priority this summer.

Exactly, if Mourinho is to bring along Carvalho, that wouldn't be a problem at all. I admire him and he's a world class player for sure. Too bad he's already 30 but if he's not expensive and doesn't extend his contract, he wouldn't be a bad buy at all.;)

Carvalho is a world class defender. But Cordoba's performances this season has renewed my hopes that he's returned to the defender that we all knew, the defender that even kicked Cannavaro out of the starting line-up. I'm not sure if Carvalho is necessary, since Cordoba - Samuel was performing extremely well prior to the latter's injury.

But as said, let's sign Diego/Quaresma/Ribery/Kaka/Ronaldinho first before even having a glance at the Portuguese Sideshow Bob.

In fact, that type of Brazilians are better than "I will party all night, and i don't give a **** about coach" Brazilians.

I said this many times, Barzagli is overrated. Rivas is better than him. I certainly hope that Milan sign him and don't realize how poor he is for years (they didn't realize how poor is Gilardino until this season).

They're still trying to convince themselves that Oddo is a football player.

Han, Carvalho has something that Cordoba never had, which is a sense of positioning. If you got two defenders with that sense, like in Carvalho and to some extent Samuel, then you are set at the back.

Players like that (Maldini, Canna, Ayala) can play well until their late 30's, so he can be useful for a while.

Anger anger. His form for the Azzurri might be good but I haven't seen anything spectacular from him on the club level. Why do you think he's been at Palermo so long?

Anyways, Carvahlo-Samuel is a wet dream of epic proportions. We'd easily have the best CD pairing in the Universe.... unless of course, 12 foot tall, 1000 pound aliens with the vertical leap of Lebron James and the speed of Obafemi Martins are playing football somewhere else out there.

I agree on Carvahlo's transfer, but we must remember this is all on the note that Murinho will be arriving.

Carvalho would be a good addition. Carvalho and Samuel in defence will make on hell of a wall, and with Maicon and Chivu as fullbacks, and Cordoba, Rivas, Materazzi and Burdisso as substitutes, it'll be a pretty good lineup. But I doubt we can pry Carvalho away from Chelsea though.

Carvalho is definitely a world class defender for sure but it won't be easy to get him, also coz he's rumoured to extend his contract with Chelsea very soon.

And where is Maxwell??

Don't know, Carvalho is great player, but too similar to Samuel, and believe me, if he comes, than Samuel is out... And i don't want him out...
