Banega and Jovetic were sold while Brozo and Mario stayed...I can see why Mario stayed(heavy fee paid for him and we didn't want to give up on him despite not fitting Spallo's brand of football at all) but...if you tell me Brozo is better than Banega :yao:

No Banega was sold because FFP yeah...and no one rly wanted Brozo because he is...:yao:JoJo was sold because Eder is the better vice Icardi...hahahaha,ok he wanted to start games...here it's all Icardi circled...won't blame him,but the club...where a 24 old is the BOSS in the squad,in Rube this shit wouldn't happen. If Icardi is out of form we are pretty much fucked, and then the only two wingers get figured out...we get 0 GOALS in 500 mins or smth, plan B doesn't exist, because we sell the creative players...Borja is 33 and has a body of a 88 old...he is smart but getting too old for this shit.We changed to a different formation and the same outcome...expecting Eder,Mario to score...:yao:

Then also Spallo won't escape my criticism...even though I'm pretty much homo for him...why insist with a 4-2-3-1 if you don't have a valid AM option...and your fetish to play Candreva when he is utter shit out there...4-3-3,4-3-2-1 are allowed formations ffs.

OK SPALLO WAS PROMISED 4 TOP PLAYERS BEFORE HE SIGNED AND NOT SAVING COSTS FOR FFP AND THE FAMOUS CHINESE BLOCKADE(ALL HAIL COMMIE-LAND)
Skriniar,Vecino buys are good in my book...very good even, then Borja is a logical buy...he isn't setting the place on fire but he is very important for us non the less.Getting to old for this shit tho like I said before
Cancelo is a loaned player anyway, might stay probably not tho...and then Dalbert is a disappointment so far for those 20mil...and a kid Karamoh on fucking loan.
We all expected much more in June...ALL OF US!

ALL HAIL our great programming last season when Suning took over...30mil for GABIG was thrown out the window...and it looks Mario's fate won't be any different...also Kondogbia transfer...ALL HAIL THE INTER MGMT CONFUSION...now we are desperate for a good AM...and the mgmt will sweat the entire mercato for one...and panic buy again...ALL TO PREDICTABLE
PSG want 40mil for Pastore :yao:who wants Mario for 40mil?!

19 players played in Serie A for us...the club with the least players given a chance...let's sell some more players and buy no one...why do we even need CB's?!take the wingers out as well

HTTP21hdGhzY2lub3Rlcy5jb20vd3AtY29udGVudC91cGxvYWRzLzIwMTYvMDYvVGhyb3dpbmdBd2F5TW9uZXkuZ2lm.gif

someone Photoshop Big Dong's head on the kid...

pray for CL football guys...we will need a divine intervention here I fear

FFP is bullshit yeah but also our MGMT are headless chickens most of the time

5 goals and 8 assists playing under three managers in season is impressive. Imagine Banega playing for a great coach like Spallo.

Yep, but he was good like one game and then 5 fading away. Guarin also had impressive stats here but was shit anyway.

still pains me we sold this guy, sure his performances widely differ but never seen an abysmal performance from him and when he was on his game he was an incredible boost to the team. We saw his passes today for argentina he made the difference along with messi.

He is the main reason Argentina played well and gave them a chance to actually win the game.

Brozo not only has quality passes but he also has the physical strength needed to play in a deep role, I'm glad we kept Brozo.

I have to admit last summer I thought it was a mistake to sell Banega and keep Brozovic. I'm glad Brozovic proved me wrong, but I think they could have played well together.

Everyone wanted Brozo out at some point, but now he's transformed into a fundamental player.

Ever Banega: “It Was A Complex But Beautiful Season With Inter”

Former Inter midfielder Ever Banega has reflected on his time in Italy with Inter ahead of their Europa League round of 32 clash with Roma. The 31-year-old midfielder spent just a single season with Inter, the 2016/17 season, but there was no shortage of chaos during his time with the club as Inter changed managers frequently.

“It was a complex season. With so many changes of manager it is difficult to get results consistently. However, I always try to look at things with a glass half full: personally it was a beautiful year for me, I got to try another kind of football and a new culture. Every experience has its positive side,” he told CalcioMercato.it.

He then went on to recall what his best memory from his brief time representing the Nerazzurri club was. “That’s a very simple question. Without a doubt, the match against Atalanta. I played 70 minutes, scored three goals and tallied two assists. We won 7-1, and it was not an easy match as the Bergamo side were doing well and were in sixth place at the time. That day everything went perfectly for me and who knows what would have happened if I had played 90 minutes. It was my first and only hat trick in my career.

In conclusion, Banega opened up on why he decided to depart the club just a year after joining on a free transfer to return to the club he left, Sevilla, where he still plays his football to this day. “I left because of Sevilla and nothing else. I was on vacation in Spain and the possibility to return came up. I went to Italy as I had a desire to try a new experience but one year was enough. I wanted to go back to the place where I was able to be the best version of myself as a footballer. Newells, my childhood team, have my heart but Sevilla will always be special for me.”

I guess the Saudi's threw enough money his way then, eh? I know it was signed in January, but Sevilla has a great European pedigree in recent years and is CL-bound again next season independent of Friday's result. He obviously still has something to offer to a top European side. Disappointing to see him walking away, but if the salary disparity is big enough, then it can be hard to fault him. At his age, might be his last chance for a real payday.

Anyway, not looking forward to him putting in a 10/10 performance against us.

Apparently he’s leaving after the final. Sounds like he’s going back to South America so this is a last hoorah for him. He’s slowing down but he’s still got that quality to change a match. He’s won enough Europa Leagues though, let us have one.

I'm kinda sad we let him go, especially because we replaced him by Valero.
Sad that he will get bullied by Barella in his last game in Europe too.

We didn’t replace him with Valero. Back then it was either him or Brozo and I think we made the right choice.

We definitely replaced him with Valero. Back then we used Brozovic as a box to box or crap AM. Brozovic wasn’t even considered as our deep-lying playmaker until the second half the season.

Banega was sacrificed for €10m pure capital gains while Valero was his budget replacement.

Actually he already signed for Al-Shabab in the Saudi League since January.

That’s disappointing. He only just turned 32 and he’s still a class player who could be a useful squad midfielder for a big side. I’d gladly take him over Valero, Gagliardini or Vecino. Or yet, he could be a really key player for a club of similar stature to Sevilla (EL regular, top 6, Roma, Milan etc)

Wow, no Spanish or Italian side wanted him? Or maybe he's just it it for the money at this point. Probably there are no big offers coming in those countries anymore.

But yeah, why Sevilla didn't offer him an extension? I think he would have fit to Lazio also pretty well. Maybe Al-Shabab offered money so much it couldn't be refused.
