Bitter taste? Winning the Scudetto was all this season was about. All others stuff is fundamentally icing on the cake.

We should not start to deliberate handing over freebees, this is really what you guys are trying to speak for, there also mental a part of this, it’s much better going into the CL match with a victory at hand then a loss, because we are not going to get points against Bologna with that attitude they are after us the most in form team in the league and by far the most dangerous.
You know what's worse? Still losing points and suffering some injuries or fatigue. Some of our subs are too inferior to their respective starting XI.

You can’t build a life up on what if. If you want to win the scudetto you field the necessary to do so until the scudetto is mathematically secured

I’m convinced Inzaghi would have a similar stance.

Come on man. You win Bologna game, you win Scudetto. It was that simple. You just bottled it.

I don't know why so many members focus solely on the derby. Losing to Milan sucked but it wasn't the end of the world. After that game, we dropped points in 5 more games before match at Bologna. Among them there was a home loss to Sassuolo, a home draw to Fiorentina and away draws to Genoa and Torino. That's where you lost Sccudetto.
That derby was crucial, because they got huge mentality boost as I said. A win there, and everything could have been different.
Anyway, I cannot blame Bologna for Radu fucked up.

The match that gave them true mentality boost was our loss to Bologna. That's when they got serious and won all their games.

Two weeks after the derby they dropped points against Salernitana. Then another consucutive draw at home against Udinese. They also dropped points at Torino and Bologna at home.

Derby wasn't as crucial as you guys want to believe.

I don't understand why would people expect team to "let Inter win" and by not letting us win prevent us the Scudetto. Players are professionals, coaches are professionals, they do that for their living.

You don't win or lose the scudetto based on one match. That story only belongs to the journalists to make a headline out of a match. You win or lose the title based on the points you gain and lose in the entire season. It was not just the Milan derby, Bologna match or Radu which took that scudetto from us. Points are points, no matter where you gain or lose them. Bologna was under no obligation to bend over to us and let us win. Holding a grudge against them because of our own failure is ridiculous.

Don't have one.
We lost that title because we had shitty defense and milan was more compact and defensively stable, and that's the only truth. Looking for one match to pinpoint it as why we lost it is total bullshit imo whether it's the bologna match or derby. And even if you analyze those matches individually, it again all comes back to an overabundance of leaked goals...

And this season in particular proves all of that, especially regarding our defensive phase...

Of course it's not only one game, but for me the most influential one was the derby loss.

Considering that now, the match vs Atletico is much more important, I'd rotate in order our starters to be fresh for that one. But we have to beat Genoa first.

Inter isn't winning this season. Moratti already intervened

we will be like +1 away from clinching scudetto in round 32 and ppl will still paranoid about bottling it

Relax y’all. I said if we were leading at all by the end of March, given the pacing our schedule compared to Juve and Milan, we’d be champs. I still stand by that but I wasn’t expecting a massive 10+ gap. The derby d’italia wasn’t decisive for the scudetto at the time, but Juve completely shit the bed and unraveled after that game (as they were likely to at some point to be fair). Milan was always too far back to mount a scudetto challenge.

We can focus on CL; it’s cool. I pray we get passed Atletico to keep this season exciting for at least a little while longer. Not that it would be a massive flop, but it would put some sting into this otherwise immaculate season. If/ when we go out of the CL, the season just becomes about numbers and records— which is fun, but makes the remaining matches feel more like friendlies.

That's a bit too antagonistic. Just show them their penalty against Lazio to shut them up
You don’t see me on Fifa bro, I be lyin down pressin buttons till I see an opponent with a Milan and Juve badge, i sit up straight, lean forward and sweat my ass off. I make sure I griddy after every goal and leave a dm of the league table after the game.

They gotta know
