I just remembered this post, and it occurred to me that this is the same Traore who nearly kept us out of the Champions League when he scored the tying goal in our season-ending game against Empoli in the 2018-'19 season. Nainggolan in his one contribution as an Inter player rescued us while Dalbert was putting forth the single worst performance I've ever seen from an Inter player. Considering winning that game got us into the Champions League, that was the most irritating win I've ever seen following this club, I felt like I wanted to punch something once it was over, what a miserable game.
I wouldn't put too much blame on solely Dalbert. The whole team was in shambles in that match when it got tough. It was just surviving, no one knew what to do. I think it started to crumble when Perisic was injured and was replaced with Dalbert. It was a fiasco defensively by the whole team, not just Dalbert.

Exactly. When I was 14, I found poking at Milan fans funny. Now? I just pretend they don't exist unless it's listening to their misery.
Then you don't hate Milan at all, only a casual to the red side.

Not everybody are built like that. For me sometimes it is more entertaining to listening to rivals' fans crying than Interisti's cheering (cough..my avatar...cough).

For instance had Inter been mathematical Champions I'd rather see Inter to lose to e.g. Bologna to kick Milan out of the CL spot, than us winning.

That match was an absolute classic. A truly pazza Inter performance and a remnant of banter era. From Icardi penalty miss, to D'Ambrosio heroics and Handanovic 1 on 1 save. And ending with a Keita red card while you had scored in counter attack was truly poetic.

I’ve only seen this rumored from Juve connected sources but apparently Gravina is being investigated for embezzlement and other financial frauds. Italian football strikes again if true.

A quick Google search doesn't reveal anything new from Bloomberg, just some stuff from a few months ago. I clicked on this tweet expecting that to be a link to a Bloomberg article, but it's just a picture and nothing else. Even one of the tweets in response was asking "where do you see this article?".

I dunno, I found a couple of Milan communities discussing this.

https://www.milanworld.net/threads/...bloomberg-e-arabia.137071/page-2#post-3185804 (Italian; do not click on your phone; absolute cancer website full of ads)

(Milan fans on Reddit have rated that source as being Tier 3.)

This news hasn't been SEO-flooded across Google by all the Milan aggregator sites.

I might as well just state my view on this if PIF were to eventually come into control of Milan -- it's probably bad news for us, as outside of a positive ownership change here then they're going to be in better position to pursue highly-priced transfer targets instead of having to settle for Chelsea rejects, but what can you do about it? I wouldn't want PIF owning Inter, the idea of a country full of human rights abuses backing our club is stomach-turning to me. Maybe it would be easier for Milan fans to handle because they already had a mafia boss own their club for 25+ years and to a great degree of success while he did, so it's nothing new for them to be owned by cartoonishly evil characters, but if that's what it would take for them to, I dunno, "reclaim their rightful place in Milan" or whatever the fuck, then that's just the way it is. If I was forced to choose PIF to back a Milanese club, I'd let them choose the Rossoneri even if it hurts my team more on the field.

I would still say that it's way too early for us to go into hyper-panic mode for what this means for the future of our club though. If we had owners that weren't broke, this wouldn't even be a concern, but since we do, we have to worry about ourselves well before we have to worry about what's happening with the cousins.

Cardinale won't give up majority of the club. He will still own the controlling part of Milan. He said himself. He's a smart businessman. He only wants Saudis in for the stadium funding / paying off 500M€ Elliott's debt which is a brilliant business in itself. He can probably name a stadium with Saudi Sponsors etc there's lots of different future deals involved. Maybe sell Milan in 5 years and for a huge amount depends how Milan as a club has progressed .

People need to just realize just being owned by PIF doesnt get you anywhere ( Newcastle) You still need an excellent management background and squad building skill to be successful. Only having stupid money ain't enough ( Chelsea) or soulless PSG...

We've gone a long way becoming what we are today. And we can still continue because our core is in peak performance age. Once we replace older guards we can continue fighting out for scudetto and UCL.

Guys, lets just enjoy this season. Just like our players . Milanisti and rubentini they are all drooling to be in our place sporting wise.

Yeah as long as Milan’s core management structure stays in place and we have Marotta and Ausilio, I’m not worried about Milan having money to spend. Overspending for average players doesn’t make you better, signing the right ones does.

Not me, growing up in Australia....I grew up to hate the English sides.

Inter Vs Milan/Juve was one thing...But it was Serie A vs EPL.

So as much as I dont want to see Milan and Juve succeed. I realised its better to have a strong Serie A in Europe above all else. And Bologna are not better than Milan.

They are not far worse. At this point of the season you can't say it's just a streak of good performances, they overall lost less games than Milan.

But if Motta leaves in a few months then it's all a waste of time anyway.

But Zhangs do not represent China the same way even if their money partly are party's money. Inter is actually probably Zhangs keeping some of their wealth outside of China. PIF is literally Saudi sovereign investment fund. The angle for them is sports washing ie. make people not criticize their county by making people like what PIF owns, like a loved football club. Zhangs and China do not have same purpose with Inter.
