Thinking of central CBs, who are the options in Italy that we would consider? Looking at teams that play with a 3-man defence, I guess Buongiorno and Bijol perhaps? Haven't watched too much of Bijol - how is he rated overall?

10 years of FIFI think we are one of the clubs chasing Fulham CB, Adarabioyo, 195cm, 26yrs old, contract over in the summer, not renewing. Linked to him 1 year now.

He is French so in fact he fit the bill perfectly well!
Players with French nationality are ranked third on our foreign nationality list, I believe more then 25 players, with Argentine and Brazil in first and second spot.
We also have like two french players in team already and three not long ago. That said our success with French players been somewhat limited .
Also we have like one Argentine in our team currently and SA players in general are him and a couple of worthless grandpas

Since Marrota is here, our targets have been clear and mostly known well in advance. So if you feed a name to the media, others can pick him up. Djalo is coming from a very serious injury, so could it be that he was the bait?

I don't think for this season.
We will need another left footed LCB in due time because Inzaghi is not playing Bisseck there. Currently Augusto and Acerbi are slotted there if Basto is not available.
Come the summer we really do need to reinforce the backline.
Acerbi and De Vrij cannot last forever. Bastoni, Bisseck and Parvard need support.
For me, if we can get two of (Buongiorno, Calafiori, Yoro - Lille, Hato - Ajax, Kossounou - Leverkusen, Simakan - Red Bull)...and another RWB then we'll be set for atleast 5 years.

I think in defense with Pavard/Bisseck, Acerbi/de Vrij, Bastoni/Carlos we are set for another season. there are other positions who are in more need of reinforcements

Most Diverse PosterI'm afraid that Acerbi will not be as good next season anymore. So either Bisseck/Pavard are also tried in the middle or we should go for another CB if possible.
