I'm afraid that Acerbi will not be as good next season anymore. So either Bisseck/Pavard are also tried in the middle or we should go for another CB if possible.

He’s approaching the end of his days as a starter for sure. Maybe he could be a decent bench soldier but we do have De Vrij under contract who is younger.

I’m all in on Pavard moving to the center personally. He’s got all the ingredients other than maybe height, but also he’s not a midget alla Cannavaro or Cordoba.

The same ownership group that already had to shutter the club they owned in China and you're talking about multi-club ownership with them.

We can’t sell him, as no one would buy a player that age so he will run his contract out and likely start being more of a rotational player. I personally think we should see if we get Bisseck to play the role, spending money on defence isn’t really what should be done if it can be avoided, sure if a too good to be true deal comes along it might be worth considering but otherwise not.

We already know we are going to need to find midfielders and attackers on top of Taremi and Zielinski unless of course you want to run Klaassen and Arnautovic for another season. We can’t possibly hope to have Martinez copying this season which is required if we don’t get better subs. Also we already know a bunch of clubs will likely toss 100m plus on the table for him, there very high probability this will be Martinez last season here, especially as I do not think Our beloved owner will ever pass on such a sum.

He seems more suitable to be a WB in a 3-5-2 system than a winger, but raw like when Dumfries first joined, slightly better than Bellanova was with us on a brief glance, but it is a 19 year old we are talking about.
