Didn't Inzaghi insist on Lukaku when Zhang wanted to sign Dybala on a free transfer?
No, I seem to remember it was more of an arm-twist from management and Inzaghi was thinking that he could tweak a few things to get it to work.

If we make it to top4, I don't think Inzaghi is going anywhere. The CL run gives so much creds to him, he made so much money to this club with this run. The possible replacements for him probably wouldn't be ones handing us the Scudetto next season anyway. Conte could be one, but even he would need new additions to the squad. And if we go that route, we might as well keep Inzaghi and give him the additions. Then we see how he will do in 3 competitions simultaneously.

About Immobile, I wouldn't necessarily want him but man Immobile-Lautaro partnership would score so many goals in Inzaghiball.

I think it all depends on who is available and the % game.

Right now inzaghi is a safer bet to get top 4 and UCL knock out rounds than the likes of motta etc.

If de zerbi becomes available, maybe.

It's the question we've all been asking, who is a possible realistic replacement. If its an upgrade, great. If not, what's the point.

Personally, I would take mancinj back if he became available but that doesn't look likely.

The conte ship has sailed. We can't afford him or his transfer demands. And no thanks to someone like juric. Let's hope inzaghi can finish the season in top 4 and a UCL final.

It’s so funny how fickle people are 😂😂. 2 good results and people want to keep him 😭😭

Not even if he wins the Champions League should he stay. Don’t get me wrong if he pulls it off I’ll be eternally grateful to him but it comes down to this: #20. There is no way this guy can win a league title, it’s impossible I promise you. He is incapable of managing a team and keep the consistency over an entire season

Now if he can win a CL every 5 years then sure keep him. But the reality is this will be a complete 1 off, and our target for next season has to be #20. And it’s not happening with this guy
LOL talk about fickle but you d want to change the best coach we had since mou caue of you think he cant win the league...
Common every single one of you shiting on Inzaghi and saying he s not a winner have said the exact same fucken thing about pioli and Spaletti guess what they both have a scudetto to their name....

Also rember how fucken sucesfull we were when we kept on changing coaches? There is no guarantee that who ever we get next does not turn out to be way worse........

Side note i hate this fucken stupid two good games argument wtf..... Result wise he s gonna have one of the best seasons we had in the last 12 years under like 12 different coaches and he did not have the best or deepest squad of em and he probably got the most shit thrown his way by management of all of em....

But yeah shit manager and even if he wins the biggest trophy there is in football we should fire him cause we finished forth insted of 2nd which is totally inconsequential for us.....

Well, if Inzaghi manages to get us the CL ticket, we should keep him. Via top4 or CL title (lmao) doesn't matter. Otherwise he should fuckoff. Simple as that.

And the two good games argument is not even true.

We've had much more good games than we've got good results. Now our players are simply putting the ball to the net. There were at least Sampdoria, Spezia, Fiorentina, Salernitana, games which we should have won if our players just put the ball to the net. Samp, Spezia we totally dominated. Fiorentina, Salernitana it was Lukaku not putting ball to the empty net at 2 meters. If those are in, it would have been 3 points.

We've been playing this same way the whole season basically, at least in 2023, had lots of shots per game but no goals or not enough goals. Now the goals are coming and POW! We are winning games. There have been few bad games as well in 2023, like Bologna and Juventus, but bad games have been a clear minority.

And we've won 3 games in a row now, actually 4 if the Coppa second leg is counter, and why wouldn't it be (where we completely dominated and nullified Juventus).

...
Those matches didnt end with 0-0. Which means we did not defend well enough.

This is where many of you overlook half of the coins. Football consists of defense and offense. It is the coach's job to find the right balance between the two, and Inzaghi is forgetting his leg days.

Only counting (missing) chances and say we played a good match... then Bielsa is the best coach.

We clearly have a few players that need to be replaced, but what Inzaghi is doing with them at the moment is nice to see. The group looks like they believe they can win all of the games left this season. Not so many anymore, so why not go for it and get that CL spot?

Wasn't a pretty win against Roma, but it was deserved.

Very risky substitutes, and huge luck with Ibanez's gift, but it is justified at the end.

we don't have a bench..... lucky he giving youth players a shot finally tho looking at the bench.... its like play with a man down is a better option

I'd say de zerbi should be a hard no. it's gonna be gasp 2.0. great manager but the fans and media will kill him here
He’s doing excellent with Brighton but Brighton is not Inter. If there’s any pressure on him there, it’s minimal.

Inzaghi is a frustrating manager for a lot of reasons but if he gets us into the top 4 and the CL Final, I’d definitely consider keeping him.

leao being out would be a God send and I think just based on the way this season has gone, especially in the UCL it’s meant to be.
