Lol, if you can't beat them, lets buy them.
Borrusia is Bayern kryptonite

How did we go from unprecedented treble winners to a banter team?
Makes sense since they’re losing Sule
Well, on to next option, unless it's a bluff to get Inter to sign him now.
When there are definite news about him we will. So far there are no confirmations about Ginter and Bayern in Germany. Instead they report Ginter is on the list but they're focused on Rudiger and Christensen.Close. This. Thread.
Should we go for Sule then?Makes sense since they’re losing Sule
Not just Moratti. Combination of Moratti and Branca. Since August 2020 we also barely have any money to spend but Marotta has handled the situation a lot better.
In 2010 our main source of revenue was Moratti pumping money. Our debt level was lower, but it was less sustainable. Not just Moratti. Combination of Moratti and Branca. Since August 2020 we also barely have any money to spend but Marotta has handled the situation a lot better.
Not worth the salary.Should we go for Sule then?
2 cruciate ligament injuries + 5M€ net wage demands or maybe even more. Even Bayern is looking at Ginter to replace him.Should we go for Sule then?
give me Rudiger/Christensen/Zakaria.Should we go for Sule then?
Bayern Munich look to be the favourites to sign Borussia Monchengladbach defender Mathias Ginter ahead of Inter.
This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on air that the Bavarians are moving for the defender, who is not a major priority for the Nerazzurri.
Ginter’s current deal with Gladbach is set to expire at the end of June, and he has not yet renewed with the Bundesliga side so would be available on a free transfer in the summer.
Inter have been linked with the 28-year-old should they be able to sign him on a free transfer in the summer transfer window, though they are not interested in him this month.
However, according to Pedulla, signing Ginter is not a major priority for the Nerazzurri.
He reports that the defender is likeliest to stay in Germany, with Bundesliga champions Bayern set to make a push for his signautre.
Should we go for Sule then?
Reduce what cost? We still fucked up, Suning pumping in money isn't enough.Moratti basically pulled financial support for Inter a couple of years before the treble. Because FFP, iirc, had an exemption for player wages signed (something like) before 2010, and we had just won the treble, there was a general reticence to sign too many new players as, if they replaced an existing player, they'd add to the FFP burden where the previous player didn't.
We were left with a squad that gave everything in 2010, had some really good offers, but we couldn't refresh or rejuvenate. We also absolutely failed to exploit the CL win to being in basically anything of the 100m+ that we were expected to sign in additional sponsorships and commercial deals etc.
Inter funding also heavily tied into what dividends Saras were paying, and let's remember what happened in 2008.
After that, to be honest, it was all a hangover from Moratti era. It took us years to clear out players from the books that we didn't want anymore, were being paid too much, and were underperforming. Thohir did what we needed to, which was to massively reduce costs and try to get us near healthy so we werent permanently on the brink of bankruptcy
It feels like there isn't huge demand for Ginter so we should give it some time and then try again?
Our losses under Thohir reduced quite quickly from like -150m to -70 or so. I cant remember the exact figures, but he managed to do that whilst also getting some new players in. Albeit most of those players were trash, but we urgently needed to replace guys.Reduce what cost? We still fucked up, Suning pumping in money isn't enough.
