I think if we signed Kondogbia now his fate at Inter would be different. He came at the wrong time just 22 years old with a big price tag. Another player who we really fucked mentally. He’s done alright to recover but he had real potential and we miss his type in the midfield right now.

I always liked this guy, thought he had potential but I normally like all our flops haha. Atletico are doing well, hate the special rule to sign players just mean big clubs fuck small clubs (braithwaite barca for example). Valencia being fucked as well, shame nice club.

Depends on the actual transfer fee, there is nothing official yet. They have 3 more days to complete it, according to the La Liga derrogation - as Partey`s release clause have been triggered on the final day of the transfer period.

Inter previously included a 25% re-sale clause when they sold the player to Valencia back in 2018.

They might be doing less than €20m so Inter`s cut is smaller? Not sure if that clause refers to the initial fee or final fee [bonuses included].

OFFICIAL - Atletico bought him for €15m as per Transfermarkt. Yesterday Fabrizio from Sky reported fee to Valencia will be €11m + 10% future sale + add ons.

UPDATE from Sky Sport Italia: Inter will not get any of the transfer fee that Atletico Madrid paid to Valencia to sign central midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

When Inter sold the midfielder to Valencia, they secured a clause which enabled them to pocket 20% of a future resale. Inter have however not gotten any money from Kondogbia’s transfer and they ultimately will not get anything due to the fact he moved to Los Colchoneros for €15 million and the clause was only valid if Kondogbia was sold for about €25 million. :closeenough:
