but for every kdog, there's a j zanetti

i couldn't give a rats ass about kdogs, if it meant a player like j zanetti gets to play. (i know j zanetti isn't totally applicable but you get what i'm saying).

Legends like Zanetti would never change their nationality. They have too much honour. Only opportunistic pieces of shite like Kdog will use these rules.

Also, Zanetti retired with all time record caps for Argentina.

I disagree tbh. I mean, players NT career is so short, particularly world cup. And their selection is based on the whims of a coach or a federation. Your whole NT career shouldn't be able to be totally fucked like that. If you have dual citizenship or whatever, you should be able to switch.

I get players can 'abuse' the system, but to me, the ability to not be fucked over totally outweighs whoever chooses the abuse the system.

Yeah agree with this. Wasn't Thiago Motta changed his nationality and played for Italy?

We also have players like Deco who was born and learned his game in Brazil but played for Portugal because Brazil didn't call him up, same with Pepe too.

They should be given a chance only once though, for example Icardi's NT career would have been fucked just because he played some 10 mins in 1 game and later coaches ignored him completely because of some off field issues.. In that case he should be given chance to represent Italy if he is eligible. Player's NT careers shouldn't be fucked because coach doesn't like a player.

But in Icardi case he doesnt want to change NT eventho they treated him like a shit over the years and just silently waiting his chances opened.

People change their genders nowadays and we're discussing who's playing for which nation...

Both of these things is horrendous and the icing on the cake is that we talk about this on the K-dog thread.

I think its fitting that we talk about it in the Kondogbia thread. He's a soft weak Cunt and that is not going to change regardless of whether he plays for France or the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is a non-factor and my only regret is that he wore our colours and we are stuck with having a thread dedicated to this Shit Cunt.

Can we vote on a poll to have this thread deleted so we do not have to be reminded that he ever played for us?

If Mancini has a thread on this forum, there's no reason why his proudest acquisition at this club shouldn't have a thread here.

Two wrongs make a right.

Their threads should stay on forever to remind us not to repeat our mistakes ever again.

Nobody cares that you scored today. You're not as cool as Zaniolo.

I bet he run away from Inter because of Icardi. He doesn't say it in public because that's not his business anymore. He only generalized by saying "chaos in the club", but we know what is the root of this chaos.

No shit no one gives a crap about Kdog.

He's a tried and failed player who refused to give Serie A another try despite Spaletti wanting to keep him.

At least Joao Mario gave it another go. This shit cunt was too much of a pussy to put up another fight.

I don't like these relaxed rules, rejects changing nations like clubs. I kinda liked the old rule that if you play even 1 game for a NT at the senior level, you cannot fucking change, like ever. Thats how it should be.

Wait, what has changed?

I don't think something changed. Kondogbia featured in friendlies for the French NT, not official matches. Don't think you can change NTs after an official match.

Years back even a friendly was enough to 'lock' you. But I think was back in the 80s.

Was it not Diego Costa who shook everything up. Was the first time i heard about it being possible but before that you were stuck with your original choice unless the country was partitioned or something

Did he give it another go by playing for us again? It's a simple question, I'm not twisting any fact.

He could well play like player who gave up, but he didn't.

Reference Icardi to look up how a player plays like when he gives up.

It's always been an official FIFA statue; I think Costa was the first prominent player to capitalize on the rule.
