Well, obviously you want to rewrite history and consensus opinions.
I have conceded that when Hazard was at his best, he was #1, but as I said, he wasn't consistent. Aguero was also not so consistent either, but I think no one denies that between 2014 and 2017 the top 3 was Sanchez, Aguero and Hazard.
Imo Hazard was the best player in 2015, but 2016 and 2017 it was Sanchez. He was #2 in 2015. And I can accept that someone else may take 2016 because he was injured, but I stand by this. He just played for an inferior side and couldn't win. PL fans are simplifying everything to:
1) Winning the league
2) Goals + assists
So most rankings inflate players who are impactful on championship sides or have a lot of goals and assists. If you have both, you are the best.
Don't forget that we are talking up to December 2017. De Bruyne emerged in 2017 as a top PL player.
