it’s weird that Inter was the club that prevented him twice from reaching the final of the CL. He must have a weird emotional relationship with this club, since as mentioned, he played some of his best football at Inter but since he left they blocked him

Yeah, I loved him, but getting Eto'o + money for him was just too good. Still think Eto'o was probably the best attacking player we had since Ronaldo. Those two seasons were mostly perfect by him.

Feels somewhat unfair that only Ibra gets the hate for those games.

You're totally right. That's how Cambiasso became LGI. Ibra couldn't do that, therefore, former.


In fact, I'd much rather have Adriano in LGI than Zlatan.

You really think it's reasonable for people to make a person, who 1. never settled at Inter 2. trash talked the team for over a decade 3. never really elevated the team performance, LGI? Check your head mate.

I'm not saying Cambiasso doesn't deserve LGI and I'm not saying Ibra deserves LGI.

I'm just saying that people will keep attacking Ibra for choking in CL (and he keeps attacking Inter), but I'll always remember that the most of Mancini's team didn't perform well in CL, not just Ibra. But that the Ibra led team overall wasn't good enough doesn't matter anymore because we won the trippletta (with a half of the team changed). Some are trying to make it look like Ibra was the only change that was made and that's funny to me.
