They were both great players for us. Ibra in 2008-2009 was the Serie A No.1 player. Nobody could stop him. Its just that their brains were wired wrong. Ibra always thought he`s a Jesus and Mario with his uncontrollable mental problems. Now add here a Galliani with his classic milanista inferiority complex, who always poached our `legends`, in the end this is what created this hate towards these players. Mario never succeeded in Milan and Ibra wanted to be the main star to pay back for Inter for taking his UCL title ( he`s admitting it even now, Barca was the greatest team in that time) . I have no issue with his stint at Inter even though he always fell short in CL. He was instrumental in our Scudetti so i remember his stint on a very positive note. Ibra the person though. What an egomaniac bullshitter who can't take an L. Ever since 2010 (and especially in his years at Milan) his behavior has just highlighted he could never accept the fact Inter dared to win CL without him. And that's why he shows so much hatred towards the club. He even changed the narrative about the reason he chose Inter in 2006. He had said this in 2017:

MARIO BALOTELLI continued to call out Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the latter told him that he "threw away his talent" and missed every one of the many opportunities he had to use it. Also, in a conversation with Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibrahimović was asked to compare Balotelli and Milan striker Rafael Leao, to which he said that they are incomparable and that Leao is a "genius".

Balotelli first responded by posting a picture on Instagram of himself holding the Champions League trophy and tagging Ibrahimovic, who has never won the competition. After that, the former Italian national team player and now Turkish Adan Demirspor football player commented on Gazzetta's publication in which Ibrahimović's statement about him and Lea.

"You were scared in Manchester, and I wanted to win. The next year we won the Champions League. But Zlatan, I love you too," Balotelli wrote, referring to the 2009 Champions League Round of 16 match between Manchester United and Inter.

United then won 2:0 at Old Trafford and eliminated Inter, whose attacking tandem consisted of Ibrahimović and Balotelli. Ibrahimović left for Barcelona after that season, and Inter immediately won the Champions League
