IMO Santon and JJ/Telles are the sure starters, maybe D'Ambrosio in Santon's place after being fit. But tbh I dont see anything wrong with what Mancini is doing, it's nice to have lots of fullbacks with different characteristics, and what's nicer, they all performed fairly well so far. It also raises competence between the players which is imo a very good thing to do.

actually hes shown it multiple times against cuadrado when they faced each other if i remember correctly. this was always one of my favorite matchups

Nagatomo has owned both Cuadrado and Lichtsteiner every time he had faced them. He also was pretty good defensively when he was playing as a FB, his 2011/2012 season in particular he was a beast, much better than D'Ambrosio has ever been with us, who is supposedly great defensively.

It should have been done in the summer, but he's stubborn and doesn't want to go. Don't get me wrong, he's a fine player, but neither essential nor lighting up Serie A on fire, and given his age it may be Inter's last chance to get something out of a sale. But my opinion is he shouldn't be starting because anyone else who can play RB on this team can do a better defensive job (Santon or D'Ambrosio, I haven't seen Montoya play yet).
