Nagatomo is playing well. Always liked him as a loyal Inter player, but never liked his performance on the pitch. But last few games, have to admit he has done well. Hope he continues to play like this for the rest of the season.

That left-foot shot totally took me by surprise (probably the goalkeeper too). Something I've never seen of him.

He used to have a pretty good shot back in the day. Doesn’t really use it anymore though, just lack of confidence

His passing in general, but especially under pressure is horrendous. Every time he is put under pressure he hooves the ball up or just clears it out of play, like 95% of the time.

Have to say he hasn't been bad at all, but you'd think his passing would be at least decent by now.

Sounds like a prank by someone giving him Italian advice -- was it his Italian tutor or a teammate, I wonder?

If he can't speak Italian after years of living in Italy, he deserves it.

Wow, that's rough. Learning a new language isn't that easy. Especially if you're from Asia coming to Europe. I hope he put that focus on his defending instead.

Most likely just a misspelling and mis conjugation i mean scoprire means to discover, and i m pretty sure thats what he wanted to say.

He moved to Italy in 2010 according to Wikipedia. That means almost 8 years in Italy and still can't speak the language.

It's well-known how Japanese find it unbelievably difficult to learn new languages with how different theirs is, not necessarily an excuse but a point worth mentioning and I'm pretty sure his Italian in general is as good as you'd expect from a Japanese. I wouldn't look too much into it as I doubt he meant that with how the cultural is where he comes from.

I lived in Germany for 7 years and could not speak German properly (but I am still about to finish my Promotion :p) Its quite normal dude.
European languages (your mother tongue) are similar in some sense; hence its quite easy for you to learn some more. Especially grammar.
The same for Asian languages. Try Chinese for example. I am pretty sure I learn Chinese faster than you do :p
Japanese use symbolic characters, not Latin words... it doubles the difficulties.
