Agreed him and Matrix should have retired 2 seasons ago but we gave them contract extensions like dumbasses for years of service. No one is going to pass up 2.5+ million euro to play 5-6 games a season. I hope Cordoba retires by this season and is giving a scouting job or assistant coach job at Inter. Once he lost his speed he went really down hill

This should be our pragmatic 4-3-1-2. This module can be used to start difficult games or used when we have gotten a comfortable lead allowing us to control the game and the midfield as the opponents try to salvage something from the tie, or are simply stifled into accepting the result. In this formation Forlan can be used for Zarate or vice versa depending on who starts OR isn't applying the correct ethic onto the picth. Obi can be substituted for either Poli, Motta or Cambiasso depending solely who is the most tired at the time of the substitution. Milito can be substitued for Pazzini if he has not produced or has become fatigued

Inter in full flight. This formation can be used to destroy lesser teams early to secure the result or if we are chasing the game and desperately needs to be turned around. Substitutions or Swaps still apply to the necessary players

I did read your post, but you are wrong IMO. Just cause the man is getting older, doesnt mean he cant still be, as I said, a world class striker.

Anyway, at this stage, apart from possibly Pazzini, Forlan is our #1 forward.

-Didnt feel right putting Pazzo on the bench, but Forlan is better than him, and it makes no sense us buying a dribbler/speedster in Zarate and not playing him. Also Pazzini, as shown last year is very effective as a super sub.

-Sneijder in best position

-Obi is a beast, and deserves first team football. He gives us energy, and pace, playing as a box-to box type. Cambiasso is the more defensive mid obviously. Suddenly out midfield looks quite mobile, with obi, naga, and maicon.

-Zanetti in a similar role to a sweeper. He is capable, and it adds an extra sence of security to our back line having him instead of Ranocchia.

-I think many will disagree with the selection of Coutinho for the bench, but fact is we are seemingly committed to giving more opportunities to youth now and Cou, like it or not, has the most potential of all our young players IMO.

Expect to see Forlan start more often than not. This goes for everyone. As sad as it is, he was brought in to replace Eto'o so he's not gonna rot on the bench. Him and Pazzo deserve to be the first 2 forwards at this point in time.
